Hello,
Despite the injuries and my physicians prescription for medication, the pharmacist cares little, only to refer stringently to a very borderline excuse to withdraw from filling a order from my physician for medication. The facts are clear, an order for medication can be filled two days prior to pickup time. My normal schedule for my does of medication was generally 2 days prior because of a recent request for 2 days prior. Tried to explain this, but the pharmacist cared little about my condition and more about the frivolous details on the 2 day prior rule mandated by the state. He refused to follow the state, rather to demand the physician to sign off on the order for meds. As I had to wait for my doctor to confirm my request, I grew weary of this pharmacists ridiculing me for trying to fill it 2 days prior. Then, the pharmacist mocked me for taking another med. Shaking the bottle in front of me questioning its requirement demanded by my physician. Could not believe his disinterest and lack of empathy for my pain. Seemed to me he was playing doctor, which I expressed to him. This cvs manitowoc pharmacist is unfit for the job. Perhaps he should get a degree to practice a physicians role instead. Generally I find cvs on a power trip about controlled substances eager to crack to whip with no regard for the patient, which physicians have cleared.
Desired outcome: corrective measures. admonishment.
