CVS Cashier/Store Clerk Harassment/Mistreatment

The young Black, female cashier stopped cleaning and straightening up the store as I approached the self check-out registers to come stand directly adjacent to me and watch me scan each item, as if she took me for some kind of thief or something. Then, as I left the store after paying for my items, she proceeded to follow me and abrasively ask me if I had a problem. Extremely rude, nasty, and confrontational unwarrantedly. I won't be returning.

Desired outcome: Reprimand/Issue addressed by management so her behavior won’t repeat.

I'd be tempted to smack her upside her head. If she cannot behave like a good citizen and respect our mores and ethics, she can find another country to live in. The way I see it, love America or leave it.

CVS Service

I have been a loyal customer to the Lyndhurst CVS 44124 as long as I can remember. Lately, the wait to see the pharmacist, pick up a perscri9ption, or reach the pharmacy through a phone call is so long, I am looking to change to the local Walgreen's store. I really like the male pharmacist that is usually on duty ( the woman pharmacist is very rude and not helpful), but the wait is entirely unacceptable there. This store is so busy that you need more people on duty.
Three times in the last week I have tried to call the pharmacy to ask about my prescriptions and three times I hung up after 20 minutes of waiting to connect to a human person. I tried at different times. I went up to the store, but after waiting to get my prescription for almost minutes, I had to leave. The lines are so long.
One day I went up to get a prescription in the afternoon and the whole store was closed and a sign on the door that it would reopen in about 1 and 1/2 hours!
I just thought you would like to know why I am leaving and taking my business elsewhere. ___ an unhappy customer

Desired outcome: More employees on duty

CVS Prescriptions

Today makes the third prescription medicatiob I cannot get filled. on time. The Pharmacist was rude and really didn't care about me missing my medication. Gee he'll put it on order for tomorrow. Well tomorrow I will be calling my doctor's office to get my medication faxed to a competent pharmacy. Over 20 years using CVS and I am tired of this constant problem. This is the third medication that is filled late. Usually it's my breathing medication that can't never be filled on time. Why is it that your Pharmacist cannot keep an adequate inventory of medications? After all there is a computer in the pharmacy.

Desired outcome: Prescription filled on time and better inventory of medication supply..

CVS Filling more medication than doctors order

Texas State Board of Pharmacy says my complaint is common with CVS overall. This specific location CVS has a very lack-of-detail pharmacist. Two times (yes, TWICE) this pharmacy didn't follow the doctor's order on the script but instead maxed out my insurance by prescribing the largest amount the insurance would allow of medications that Ive never taken before (more than the website online FACT SHEET says maximum dosage per day), and turned out that I had very bad side effects (including one very expensive medication that the advisory sheet shows over a 30% rejection rate). I was never given a Fact Sheet nor had pharmacist have consultation with me. Pharmacist never counsel me on new prescription. Instead of just throwing the medication at me and kicking me out the door as quickly as they did (once they got the maximum dosage the insurance allowed on a single claim, ended up over $3000... $600+ co-pay), they instead should have consulted with me and sent me home with only a week's worth of the medication to see if I have problems, but ended up I paid over $600 co-pay out-of-pocket for one medication that I can not use, and by law can't return for refund because of this one CVS pharmacy. Called corporate and they said they are never taking responsibility nor will ever help with the cost of the medication because the pharmacist has the decision all to on their own !

CVS Staff in the pharmacy

I went to the store at Climb Rd in Columbus Ohio to pick up my husbands medications. I was not givin all medications as requested 10/16/2021. I went back on 10/17/2021 and ask the pharmacist for the missing medication. She said it had no refills, so I ask her if she could get in touch with doctor for refills. She got really angry and said we do not do that. I explained to her they have done it in the past she basically called me a liar and said you need to contact the doctor. I explained to her that I would never return and drove away.

CVS Pharmacy customer service

Andrew is one of the rudest employees I've ever talked to. The last couple of times I've been here Andrew has been very disrespectful and rude, rolling his eyes, etc. When I asked him about a medication to see if they could order it and if it was similar to what I had received in the past he just told me they probably couldn't even order it. He didn't check my script, didn't look to see what I had, and acted like it was a huge inconvenience to even assist me. He then said I'd need a script for it, when I told him that's what my doc said they prescribed and sent in he sighed loudly and said he'd have to go look at it. He's also told me to wait an hour for a script before and when I went to pick it up he very rudely told me he hadn't even worked on it yet and that it would be another half hour. I'm not sure if he needs better training or maybe he shouldn't be allowed to interact with customers because he has a terrible attitude. A prescription medication is not something to mess around with or to be uninformed about by a pharmacist but he doesn't seem to care.

CVS This doesn't happen to anyone else! and cvs contacts my by email asap with how they will be helping me. And what test they will be paying for!

After watching a lady get her flu shot and the man that gave her her flu shot placing the needles and a small yellow plastic container that was about an inch and a 1/2 high and maybe 5" wide he put needles in there he gave her her shot in public and I watched and disbelieve that he had put this on the floor. I wasn't thinking clear and still in disbelief he came over to give me my covid booster and yesterday and my flu shot he looked in his yellow tray and I was trying to look in to make sure that he wasn't using the needle that he just gave the other lady the other lady. Because he did place the dirty needle in there with my 2 needles that were clean hopefully that he was gonna give me my vaccines with. Out of complete disrespect and and discussed I couldn't believe what had happened he had put all the needles together and had placed them on the floor. I wasn't thinking clear and let him give me my vaccines this is completely unsanitary! 1st putting needles on the floor 2nd putting a used needle with needles that haven't been hopefully been used on someone yet and mixing them together placed dirty needles with ckean needles. I did try and do the best I could to make sure he was using a clean needle no one should ever have to go to thought this! I have left a more in detail review on CVS website legion road if that. As to how disgusting and unsanitary this whole situation is! Now I have to worry about things like hepatitis covid and anything else that could have came off the floor and could it came from the other lady that he just gave the injection to since that could have had blood on it and touched my needle that he used on me that he used on me this should be a lawsuit against CVS this boot against CVS! I will be looking into that! And he never changed gloves. Which at this point is the least of my worries I'm worried about the needles being on the floor and a used needle being in the same tray as the needles he used on me. UNSANITARY UNSAFE AND DISGUSTING!

Desired outcome: What test they will be paying for as to what disease is I may have contacted is untacted by unsanitary use of needles respond by email watch the video at this location

CVS Lack of pharmacy staff

I have always loved the efficiency of the Goshen, Indiana CVS pharmacy until the past few months. My auto refills aren't being filled (even when I use the 'fill a prescription' phone prompter) and they aren't answering the phone so I have to drive there to speak with someone to get it filled and for any other issues I have. Then most times I wait 60 minutes to have my prescriptions filled. There often has been only one pharmacist and one tech working. Last week they closed down from Friday until Monday. Monday there was 1 pharmacist and 3 techs but one was doing the register full time due to the high volume of people in line and another was assisting the many people whose prescriptions needed to be refilled at the 'drop off' window. That left one pharmacist and one tech to fill prescriptions. The line is often to the front door of their store. Yesterday, 10/13 I went to this store in the afternoon and they were closed again. With one pharmacist, who had to leave for an emergency situation, they had to close for the day. Had there been a second pharmacist, it would have remained open. Yes, I have heard of the shortage of pharmacists and techs, but maybe there needs to be a greater incentive for them to want to work there.

Desired outcome: Increase pharmacy staff

CVS Pharmacy

I paid for prescriptions online via the app on 10/7 $41.00 then my husband was charged another $31 for the same scripts - we was told after the fact that the charge would automatically be refunded back to us and thus far it has not - I am upset to the point to where I am about to change all of our scripts to Walgreens - We paid over all over $80 for that round of meds. It shouldn't have been much! My email is: [protected]@yahoo.com for the account. We have Donna Duncan, Jason Duncan and Jacob Duncan on the account for scripts.

Desired outcome: Issued Refund

CVS CVS pharmacy

On 2 separate days I was given the wrong medication from CVS, Don Conner Blvd. in Jackson, NJ 08527.
1. my husband picked up my rx, but it was a Chemo drug for Another Pt.
2. I was supposed to get a 90 day supply of Potassium Citrate rx 771473. Instead I got
45 Potassium Citrate and 45 Potassium Chloride rx 779622. I have an extensive hx of kidney stones and I'm in stage 3 kidney disease. After taking the chloride for a
few decades and passing stones 1-2 a year, I was finally switched to the citrate and have been stone free ever since. I fear this could have caused me harm and possibly more stones! As an R.N. this is frightening to me! What about the elderly? The cognitive impaired? I had recently switched pharmacies to CVS, and now l'm questioning if this was a wise move!

Donna Reigert R.N.

Desired outcome: I would like to know what action was taken, inservice or hiring more Competent people!t staff? My phone is [protected].

CVS Unethical behavior by a CVS pharmacist who refused to give me my first Covid-19 vaccine.

RE: CVS Pharmacy at: 5611 S 27th St, Lincoln, NE 68512.

About seven weeks ago, I entered the CVS Pharmacy at 7:06PM to request the Covid-19 vaccine. The male pharmacist asked me if I had an appointment? I replied that I was a *walk in* who needed the Covid-19 vaccination. The male pharmacist told me he didn't have time to give me the vaccine because it takes 45 minutes to do the paper work and another for 15 minutes to monitor me after the injection. I told the pharmacist that I was shocked it took that amount of time to administer a Covid vaccination! I went on to tell this CVS pharmacist that this would be my very *first* Covid injection and not a third booster shot. Again, the CVS pharmacist told me he didn't have time to give me the injection and that I had to make an appointment. Note: I was the only customer at the CVS pharmacy. There was not one person standing in line behind me that needed the pharmacist assistance. The bottom line is that this pharmacist did indeed have time to give me the injection but refused to help a senior citizen. If CVS wants customers to make an appointment vs assisting customers who *walk in* for a Covid vaccine, then they need to stop advertising that walk ins are welcome when indeed they are not!

Lastly, I did receive my first Covid-19 vaccination as a *walk in* at a Supersaver pharmacy.

Desired outcome: Stop false advertising on the web.

CVS Lack of personnel in Pharmacy

I live in Billings, Montana. You previously had a branch of CVS on North 27th Street, but closed it when you built a new one on the corner of Central Ave. & 6th St. West. This new facility has the worst pharmacy every. You need to HIRE more personnel; pharmacists as well as techs. This pharmacy has a drive up that is closed more then open because so many people are in the store in line to get their prescriptions & MANY TIMES, there are only 2 people behind the counter, a pharmacists & a tech. This is unacceptable. With the amount of CUSTOMERS this pharmacy has due to the closure of the CVS on North 27th Street, which was right across the street from THE HOSPITAL!, it is time you hired more qualified people so those of us who have difficulty standing in line for an hour, can be served somewhat sooner. Plus the stress on the pharmacists & techs to serve so many people at once & not be able to answer their phone calls, is very unfair, not to mention cruel. So HIRE MORE PHARMACISTS & TECHS. I would venture that you need more qualified people in your other locations as well.

CVS Rude treatment from pharmacists

The store at 5050 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216/Store 10056, was very rude and unprofessional. I called concerning why my delivery order was canceled and was not given a definite reason. I spoke to a pharmacist, who suggested that I retry submitting the delivery order; however, I received a message: "Oops we're having issues with that content". A pharmacist told me that my order was ready for pick-up. I called this pharmacy for a third time, and before I could explain the situation, the agent hung up on me. What's the issue here?

James A. Belk

Desired outcome: Resume delivery of my prescription orders.

CVS Store condition Cortland New York

Store and pharmacy filthy dirty . Vaccine area supplies on dirty floor. I was going to get my flue vaccine at this location but after seeing the condition of this store and pharmacy my wife and I both went to another pharmacy. I can't believe that this is the way CVS wants to be represented. This isn't the first time I've noticed this. Over the past few years it's been on the decline. If my insurance wood permit I would go else where.

CVS Failure to refill R/X

My problem is with store #7801. My name is Jerome Schmitz, B/D 2/28/37. R/X #1072462. I have been told twice by your automated system that prescription is on automatic refill, ready in 24 hours. I finally reached your pharmacy dept, to find out that prescriber needed to be contacted. When questioned about auto matic system I was told that it didn't always stay up to date. In other words, don't trust the system. Obviously I swill have to refill any future requests with an actual person, regardless of wasted time listening to ads and music. Can anything be done about this? Awaiting an answer.

CVS Lack of pharmacy staff at Silver St, Agawam, MA store

Sat, 10/9/21, I went to the drive through for RX pick up. Long line of cars waiting with no one at window. Woman in front car yelling, pushing buzzer and banging on the window. No response. Some cars left, others started honking. I drove around and entered the store. At the pharmacy is another long line of angry people waiting and waiting. There's two people behind the counter, a man and young girl. I asked the man, who was the manager, what was going on and where is the staff, informing him about the angry line outside. He didn't reply. The people in line said they gave up waiting outside and came in only to end up in another line.

The manager kept filling orders and the girl had to take care of both lines. I said you can't run a pharmacy without a staff, especially on a Sat. I told the manager I was filing a complaint with Corporate about this. He finally spoke, telling me that I should contact Corporate. I left the store.

Throughout the summer, there have been delays in RX filling promised times for pick up, people who can't find your order, saying come back later on or even the next day. My wife went there at end of day to get my RX and was told by the same girl my RX wasn't there (after getting a phone message that it was ready for pick up). My wife called the same manager to the window and gave him the same verbal response I did earlier. He immediately went and found it, apologizing to my wife.

Now, I don't know if there was a third employee that was on lunch when I arrived or only two staff members were scheduled for this Sat. I know there's an employee shortage everywhere bringing down the quality of service. A pharmacy staff is important. I feel there should be a minimum of six people. Three people (including the manager) filling orders and phone calls. Two people expediting customers at the counter and one person manning the drive up window's customers. All bases covered. A minimum of four people on a Sat.

The Agawam Silver St store needs a major overhaul of more employees to replace the current situation and/or better scheduling.

Desired outcome: Fix the problem!!

CVS Unprofessional behavior of pharmacist

My doctor prescribed a medicine for scabies. When I went to the pharmacy the pharmacist (Dan St. Geraine) in Sedona told me to take my "horse medication and go". I'm already embarrassed about the scabies. He said this out loud in car earshot if several other CVS customers at least THREE times saying they were very busy when I asked him to explain what he meant by that. He said "this is my store." Was he calling me a horse?
Was he insulting or discrediting my doctor? Other people working directly in the pharmacy were equally abrupt and rude and made me feel angry and confused. Devastating! I do not believe my doctor is prescribing horse medication! Is CVS selling horse medication?
I was in a good mood and felt happy when I walked into the store but left feeling ambushed, insulted and so upset that I may change pharmacy. Only positive is that I've never experienced this type of behavior from anyone at CVS in the past and your pharmacists are historically very nice and helpful. When I tried to talk with the store manager, another very young employee said she was not in the store and could not tell me when she would be there "for security reasons" because "it would put her at risk"? I'm a paying client, educated and now being treated like I'm some terrorist because I'm unhappy about how I was just treated by one of your "professionals".

Desired outcome: Apology form the pharmacist St.Germaine

CVS Refill prescription

I called in a refill at my local CVS pharmacy(located at 3310 Siskey Parkway, Matthews NC 28105) i was on hols for 35 minutes then when i asked to refill the medication they said there were no refills. I told the pharmacy assistant there was one refill on my bottle and she couldn't explain where the refill was and i would have to contact my doctor. So i called the corporate office and waited another 45 minutes to be told they were filling it now but that's because I called my pain doctor to get the refill. THE PROBLEM STILL WASN'T ADDRESSED as to WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ORGINAL REFILL that was in THEIR COMPUTER. THAT'S A PROBLEM FOR CVS IF REFILLS CAN DISAPPEAR IN THEIR SYSTEM WHEN A DOCTORS OFFICE SENDS THEM OVER. Lastly neither CVS corporate or the local CVS seemed to care nor did they care that i wasted 2 1/2 hours of my time for NOTHING! The niral of the story is that i transfer all 16 of my prescriptions to Walmart.

CVS brought wrong product and manager refused to accept the return

last night I went to CVS store at 12080 S Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437 to purchase bottled water. When I returned home and opened the plastic wrap to put the water in the refrigerator - I realized that I had purchased sparkling water by accident. I immediately returned to CVS with my receipt showing that I paid $4.99 for the item. The manager and her assistant immediately both took a horrible nasty attitude towards me and the manager said the plastic was ripped and what should she do with it - told me to throw it in the garbage. Not only was she nasty along with her employee who had been giving me nasty evil looks when I originally went into the store to make my purchase. Then I said they were not nice and yes, I called them [censored]es, the manager started screaming at me and told me to out out of the store and I was never allowed to shop there again. I told her to back off of me or I would call the police. If this is the customer service being acceptable by CVS - I will NEVER go into another CVS as long as I live. I will never walk into another CVS and I am going to make a post on social media about what transpired last night. CVS owes me $5.00 - pay up!
