overcharge on copays, refusing to refund over $200, lost physicians scripts presented to be filled.
This complaint will just go unread and unresolved with the rest on this site, but here it is. When I went to pick up a prescription for my husband I was told the copay would be $100. I had no choice but to pick up the medicine because it had to be taken prior to a scheduled surgical procedure. The refill was the same price $100 and no time to fight the pharmacy before surgery. After returning from the surgery, transferred all family prescriptions away from cvs, to my home town independent pharmacy and using my same insurance paid $23.50 /month copay for the same medication. I would like to add that all our copays dropped.
I have been calling cvs numbers without resolution to get a refund, so I am proud to say my state senator just emailed me a document to complete regarding a my prescription copay issues with cvs. Anyone care to answer my phone calls before I get the paperwork moving.
pharmacy and general store service
Good evening, I am a Physician that called in a prescription for a patient and attempted to call to make a modification as it was an e-script and I could not make changes online. I called multiple times over the span on an hour, placed on hold for at least 15 minutes each time by the automated system to reach the pharmacist and punched all numbers on...

I will be filing my complaint with Consumer Affaier, BBB, and whoever else I can find that applies. Let me start by saying any pharmacy that get's shut down by the Health Department is already a disgrace. The pharmacy employees are by far the MOST disrespectful and disgraceful pack of inept people I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. Every time I have to deal with this location it is a problem. I was literally on the phone for 1 hour and 58 minutes today and still haven't gotten my epileptic son's medication. I am utterly disgusted. You should be ashamed to even have this store under the CVS logo.
staff was rude. pharmacist was rude/unprofessional
Called today, 3/19/2019 at 1:20p. The staff answered, mumbled that they were busy and I needed to hold. Left me on hold for 10 min then hung up on me. I called right back and the lady pharmacist answered. I was checking on a script that was sent to them on 2/28/2019 for our patient - it was never filled... I could tell from her tone she was less than pleased be on the phone, or at work. She said she would get it ready. I asked if there was a problem with it since it wasn't previously filled and she said "oh I don't know, maybe he doesn't have $162".
That isn't a professional response. Have some class or maybe find another job because customer service isn't for you! CVS needs to look into this lady pharmacist and her staff. I keep repeating lady because I didn't get her name but she was female. Super unprofessional.
pharmacy/staff
I am new to this CVS Pharmacy and have never had such bad customer service from a pharmacy. Every month my prescriptions are filled late, as the medicine is "not available" making me not able to take my medicine for several days. However, the worst part of this pharmacy is that every month, when I inquire in person or on the phone regarding refills, one...
Read full review of CVSI was on hold for over an hour
I called in today 3/13/19 around 3:30. I had to call the front desk after 20 minutes she advised she was going to tell the pharmacy to answer the phone. After 12 minutes someone picked up and said "please hold" and placed me back on hold before I could even say anything. I waited another 22 minutes and called back to the front desk and she told me they probably couldn't hear the phone and they would go back again to ask them to answer the phone. Someone finally picked up after 18 minutes and I advised I needed to fill a prescription and was calling to give new insurance information. I was placed back on hold and after another 8 minutes she picked back up and I gave her the account information and asked it they were busy, she ignored the question. Was placed back on hold for about 15 minutes and was again asked for the account information. I was placed back on hold several more times and then finally told they had registered the insurance. I asked about the prescription, she forgot about it, she placed me back on hold and then advised it went thru the insurance.
pharmacy
This is the 3rd time this has happened to me in less than 2 months. Had a prescription called in Friday the 8th went to pick it up Monday the 11th, they said they did not have anything called in for me? I explained this is the second attempt from my doctor for this prescription, and asked why they don't have it? They had no idea and suggest I call my Dr...

I am a physician at the University of Minnesota and called in a prescription for my wife who had previously been prescribed this medication at this store. The pharmacist called back and said she would not fill it, that i needed to send a ecert prescription. I asked why as I had called in prescriptions for her previously, it is obviously easier than pulling everything up on the system, and when I explained I was able to do this at the CVS pharmacy in Duluth MN when we were visiting up there she became extremely rude, refused to provide an explanation, said it was her prerogative and when I tried to explain to her this is not a new prescription she cut me off and stated "this conversation is over" and hung up. Anger does not describe what I felt at that moment, arrogant, rude behavior has no place here- a Walgreens pharmacist explained the policy to me and I had a colleague prescribe it. My business will now go elsewhere and your pharmacist should either be reprimanded or required to take a course in customer relations
understaffing and extremely slow drive thru-service.
The short staffing and slow drive-thru service are what I am complaining about. The drive-thru service is so totally bad, that today, I have personally witnessed 4 cars get fed up and leave the drive-thru while I was in line. I believe it is caused by there being only 2 people manning the pharmacy. On a few, occasions there were times that I waited so long in the drive-thru that I had actually left my car, went inside, got my medication while still parked in the drive-thru, left the store, walked back to my car parked in the drive-thru, and then drove away. If having people who decide they would rather drive off, pissed off, and drive away from your "convenient" drive-thru as a business model, call that "winning" as you are. If you consider such a business model as a failure, which I do, as it is an epic failure. Going into the pharmacy is also bad. People don't know how to line up, which causes tensions as no one knows where the line is and the cashiers only ask who is the next customer and no one knows whose turn it is in line. 3/3/2019. Having more staffers would probably help? I always hear the pharmacy staff crying for help! We only have 2 people! Sounds like a company problem that becomes the customer's problem, through no fault of our own!.
pharmacy - unable to order medication, etc.
My son takes a hard to find ADHD medication, but was told by the local CVS that it would be no problem to place the order. The prescription was sent over by the pediatrician on 2/26, and as of today, 3/1, the medication still has not been received. If I hadn't called several times and finally reached someone in the pharmacy, I wouldn't have an update on the prescription. I now have been told that they will order it again and let me know for sure by Monday of the status.
The other issue is that when calling the pharmacy, wait/hold times are in excess of 15-20 minutes. This lack of customer service is unacceptable.

Brittney the manager also made fun of and humiliated 8 year old child and joked with pharmacy staff about it. Then treatened to call police on same 8 year old because he wet himself waiting for bathroom which they refused to let us use.

Today I received a prescription that was grossly miscounted. The rx was to be 180 of omeprazol and i received 90.
When i got home and open the bag to put it away I knew right away it was short. I counted to be sure. I called the pharmacy and was told to call back at 2:30. I tried to explain the issue anyway and was told "ok, call back at 2:30" Not happy with this response. I went back to the pharmacy at 2:30. spoke with Brittany Voss RPH. I explained what happened and that I had been using CVS for 15 yrs and this was the 4th mistake. She immedaitely said "ive been here 4 and never made a mistake" "We refill 2000 rx a week there is bound to be mistakes" I waited for her to check the count and redo my rx. Never once was there an apology for the mistake or the inconvenience. I feel in her position it is her job there is no mistakes. My biggest complaint is the lack of manners and customer service. I am an operating room nurse. If we treated pt's this way we would be fired. She is no asset to your company.
I'm sorry to have had report this but this isn't right.

the store itself
To Whom It May Concern: May I start off with the the staff is always friendly and polite. The store is out of stock with many things. The selves and make up department is not neatly presented. Selves through out the store are stocked enough as the eye can see. If requesting if a product is in stock in the back, 9 out of 10 it is not. Granted, if the item...

I was trying to get information today on Extra Care deals and coupons that I have linked to my CVS Card. Some are deals...some are Manufacturers deals. Upon check out I had two of the items on the manufacturers deals...When totally out. the linked coupon amount did not come off. I rep. from this cvs tried, but she could not get it to come off the total. When I presented this problem to the Extra Care rep. she did not know what I was talking about..(Hasley) so we got disconnected. Now I call back and I get Eufemia who is a Supervisor...she takes my information and thats that. she hangs up..Then I finally got someone (Katherine) to answer my question. So know I think this is like a consumer protection (93A) issue . CVS Gets you to buy the item because you can link the Man. coupon to the CVS card. But then you go the the register and the linked coupon doesn't work. But there you are with the item. Its a win, , , win, , , for CVS and the manufacturer..but not for you because the amount of the coupon was never subtracted. Yes, its sounds like a consumer protection issue.
problem with the filling of my wife's prescriptions
My wife's company changed insurance companies and had to start using cvs after multiple years useing walgreens. Very big mistake switching from walgreens. The pharmacy in nacogdoches texas is the worlds worst from incompetant staff all the way to the pharmacist. Every time my wife goes there is always an excuse for delay in filling prescriptions. And when they say it will be 15 minutes it is always an hr or so. I stood in line one evening after listening to a gentleman argueing about how they charged his insurance for the meds but couldnt fill them because of some excuse they give him. The woman behind the counter was very rude and just being disespectful to anyone who came after him. Mt wife and I were there 3 evenings ago to check on her prescriptions and the young lady behind the counter wanted to know if we wanted them filled and she said it would be an hr and they would be closeing in about 15 minutes so we told her to get them filled and we would be back another day to pick them up. Three days later my wife has to wait another hour to get the prescription which we were told would be filled that day, and now still has to wait on it. I don't know what yopur procedure in hiring people for you pharmacy in nacogdoches is but I think that you got the very bottom of the barrell with that bunch. It is horrible the way a person has to wait and be treated while trying to get medicines to feel better. If the company I work for changes to where I have to use cvs in nacogdoches I will pay out of pocket at walgreens or do with out. We have an old good friend that started as a night manager there and she was warned about the pharmacy staff and when the store employees are warned about the pharmacy staff then alot of what is said must be true, well my wife and I have personally felt the poor and rude pharmacy staff you have there and my wife will be using other means of getting her prescriptions filled.

I have been dealing with this cvs for several years now and never a problem, the staff has always been helpful and friendly. pharmacist filling a prescription incorrectly
I picked up a prescription at this pharmacy above today for an antibiotic known as a Z-Pac. 6 pills to be taken over 5 days. I was told the pills come sealed in a package that visibly shows all the pills sealed to the pharmacist initially that he then places into a small box with the name of the pharmaceutical company that manufactures the pills, before it is given to the consumer. The box therefore is not sealed when you get it, though the pills are sealed in their package which you have to pop them out of in order to take them.
When I got home and opened the box, two of the 6 pills were missing and had clearly been popped out of the package. I went back to the store to report what had happened.
The pharmacist who was filling my order clearly should have seen that two of the pills were missing when he was putting them into the box I received. He did not see this.
Clearly someone behind the counter, either a pharmacist or a clerk at the register there had been helping themselves to antibiotic medication illegally. How they expected to get away with it is beyond me since it should have been obvious to the pharmacist filling my order that pills were missing from the package. But they did not see this so even the pharmacist filling my order screwed up as well.
This shows someone is abusing the drugs at this store, very likely an employee working the register behind the counter or a pharmacist themselves.
Never encountered an issue like this ever. But customers using this store should be aware that abuses are going on behind the counter where drugs prescriptions are filled. I reported this to the Corporate headquarters for further investigation. Let's hope they take this seriously.
