Whirlpool maytag top loading high efficiency low-water washer

This has been going on since December
My name is Holly Vought
My maytag washer was purchased in november 2017 through lowes (indiana, pa)
I have been in contact with lowes warranty, whirlpool corp and maytag warranty.
I have had 2 different companies come out to our house.
The first company came out 2 different times - first time he said it was our hose connections. that was fine - we bought new hoses and changed them out.
The second time he came out he did not even really look at the washer itself - he blamed my wall was leaking even though I had video and picture proof showing clearly that it was not my wall.
I was never contacted by anyone after that.
I called and spoke to a whirlpool corp teller and was set up with another company. The second company came out - never really looked at washer or removed back to look at it.
Called back a week later to see what was going on with this - no one knew - company was contacted. He did not know what was going on and was going to try to change the inlet valve. Another week goes by and was never contacted. I again called whirlpool - was told that they spoke to the company and got the part number which they would order and have it delivered in 2 days. Someone ordered it wrong and it was shipped ground and took a week to recieve this part. Called and made an appointment with company - they came out and replaced part.
I have used this since and it is still leaking.
Called maytag warranty again. They tried to set up another appointment. second company refused to come out due to distance, so I had to go with the first company - made appointment for wednesday the 23rd - I took a day off work for this and the company did not show. I again called maytag warranty - they did not know why he did not show or call. They then stated that he mentioned it was my wall that was leaking and that we needed to pay for a plumber to look at the house first. I tolder her we had video proof and picture proof that it was coming from the washer and not the wall of my house.
I am not paying for a plumber to come out and tell me that my house is fine. We have lived in this house for 5 years and never had a problem with old washer.
Washer will leak off/on after washer has finished. Water will collect under washer dripping from the back left inside panel.
All I wanted was to have my washer fixed or exchanged for a new washer. No one seems to know what is wrong and does not want to help us. I will NEVER purchase another maytag product again after this Bulls*t. I am extremely fed up with this lack of attention to a customer.
In total I have called probably over 15 times to get this resolved which it has not.

User Manual states: Thanks for purchasing this high quality product.
Purchased 09/07/15...Five Year extended warranty.
I am very disappointed with my high quality product as of two years.
Per Instructions: Use a soft clean cloth, warm soapy water and mild detergent.
I now have rust on outside of both doors and is growing rapidly.
Just doors, nowhere else...If I was using the wrong cleaner I would have rust everywhere else...
As per Whirlpool and Lowes it is MY FAULT, considered cosmetic.
April 09, 2018 denied claim/Charleen.
At present I have massive moisture build up inside my doors. Water puddles.
At present I have to have a cup to sit under the ice dispenser to catch water that constantly dribbles.
Ice maker constantly frozen, rarely dispenses ice...after cleaned and dried.
Under left door is a hole that constantly drips orange solution. Stains inside.
It just makes me nauseated to think of a very expensive product I loved is now an eye sore in my house. I have been a housekeeper for 43 years and I think I know how to take care of my appliances. I waited 18 years for all new appliances and now I have to live with this supposedly high-quality product.
Jan 10/18 Replace side flap inside door...
Lowes should have a copy of repair request: [protected]
I would send copies of repairs, but now a days you just sign a computer pad.
I would like a refund...

Whirlpool cabrio washing machine

We bought this washer from Lowe's in 2015, it has been awful! It has always vibrated even though we had a service call and they assured us that it is level. It also makes an awful noise when washing which the service guys told us was "normal". It often leaves our clothes dirty. Also, the bottom piece that agitates the clothes recently detached itself completely! We contacted Lowe's (retailer we bought it from" and they told us the extended warranty we purchased ran out in March of 2018. I am 100% sure that Whirlpool is aware of this poor quality product and this is unacceptable. No excuses for a washer that is 3 years old being so unreliable. We would appreciate and expect a reply with some resolve to this issue

Whirlpool kitchenaid refrigerator

Less than one-year-old KitchenAid refrigerator is malfunctioning and am told it will be NINE days until a repair person can examine the machine.

The machine stopped cooling three days prior, on the beginning of a holiday weekend (the contents had to be discarded due to spoilage) so it will be TWELVE days with no refrigerator before I can even get a diagnosis? I live not far outside of NYC, not in some remote location, why aren't there other service people available?

When I call the provided numbers for service I am told "there is nothing I can do" and "that's the earliest date available" but when I call local appliance repair companies, each one was willing to come the same day. So I should pay for service for a 10-month-old $3, 300 machine?

MY GE Monogram lasted for 18 years before I needed a service call, and they came within 24 hours. Maybe it's time to go back to GE.

Whirlpool unhappy service

I ordered a top load washer of the Amana brand, order #[protected], model #NTW4755EW1, serial #C720 31695.
I received my washer on the 25th May 2018 and unwrapped it on 26th May 2018. However the washer has a dent on the right side and the switch is damaged.
I am hereby requiring reimbursement of the repair payments I made. I ordered a new washer and I now have to pay to repair for damages without even using it for the first time, do you think that is service.

Whirlpool whirlpool front loading automatic washer

Extremely disappointed in this machine. A significant amount of water is left standing in the seal behind the glass door after each load. The only remedy is to physically shove a towel into the crevice of the seal to absorb the standing water. Failure to do so allows mold growth. Exposure to mold creates significant heath issues. I am mold allergic and so cleaning this machine is a personal health risk

Whirlpool washing machine

I have taken home care plan of my washing machine vide application form cum receipt No. 503900 dated 05.08.2017 for 12 months i.e upto 04.08.2018.As per the plan, repair or replacement of the a[[liance. Since the washing machine stopped functioning, I have made complaint to the company vide complaint No. GB0418012542. Tow personel of the company visited and inspected the washing machine and informed that few parts required replacement. They took the parts and assured me that they will replace the same very soon. after few days they inform me that these parts are not availabe with company and the machine will be replaced very soon.

After few days I received a wardsapp message from Shri Kamal, representative of the company through his mobile No. [protected] that I have to pay Rs. 22540/- through demand draft as per following details :
Dep. 60% @ 29150/- - 17490/-
Transportation charges - 1000/-
Invoice Value of old Model - 29150/-
New Model DP - 33200/-
Difference Amount - 4050/-
Total amount of DD - 22540/-
New Model - [protected] ULTIMATE CARE 8.0 GRAPHITE 10 YMW

I am strongly opposing this proposal as there is no condition imposed in the above mentioned plan of the company to charge any amount against repair or replacement.

Please lake up my case sympathetically and replace / repair my washing machine as per your "HOME CARE PLAN" sold to me by your company.

Whirlpool oven

I am writing this letter as a grave warning to any bird owners and as an appeal to the producers of heating appliances, specifically ovens.

I live alone, my sole companion in life for the last 18 years has been my Blue and Gold Macaw named Rio. She was a beautiful soul who loved people and was so very sweet.

Last Friday, May 18, 2018...She was in the same home as a new Whirlpool oven. This oven was new and was being used for the second time. Per the Whirlpool manual, she was not in the home for the first use. There is a burn in needed to off gas the chemicals and adhesives/insulation used in the manufacture process. However the manual is not clear on how to exactly do this, how to make it safe. So it was used once in an attempt to burn off these chemicals. On its second use Rio was in the home in another room with a dividing wall between the kitchen and the living room. Approximatley two hours after turning the oven on, Rio became affected, very labored breathing, became weak, unable to stand. We called the vet, brought her to the car and went a block down the road and she started moaning and making a sick, painful sound. She flapped her wings a few times and went limp. She passed away in my hands. I was inconsolable.

We know it was the oven because Rio was very healthy, young and vibrant bird. Her food was controlled and all other factors were as they had been for years. There were no other heat sources in the home. The lung lesions caused by these toxic gasses are unmistakable and cause nearly instant death. By the first sign of symptoms its too late.

I am heart broken and lost. Why are these companies allowed to produce such toxic appliances? Why dont they change chemicals? Its obvious they are well aware of the issue, its in their manual but what isnt there is an accurate procedure that guarantees safety. Just a warning your bird might die. How do I make your appliance guaranteed safe? Why dont they off gas the oven at their factory before shipping? Why dont they place bigger warnings on the exterior of the appliance?
How can you test for these gasses in your home?...a smoke detector will not do it, they are invisable and deadly. Her death looked extremely painful to her and was definitely painful for everyone who witnessed it. She was such a sweet heart and did not deserve this.

I feel like my life is over. I am so sad. I cant go on. Her personality was larger than life...The light in my life has been extinguished. To manufacturers, please stop producing deadly appliances...to bird owners...Please do not take chances with new ovens or ANYTHING that produces heat or has Teflon on it. Also know that many things have deadly Teflon you might not be thinking of, like the heating elements of ovens, many pans, light bulbs, curling irons, waffle irons...just about any heating appliance. YOUR BIRD WILL DIE. I have always known about Teflon pans and got rid of everything Teflon when I got her as a baby 18 years ago however this is starting to show up everywhere in new appliances. Besides Teflon there are a multitude of deadly gasses produced from other oven components. Its now obvious to me that one single "burn in" of an hour on high is NOT enough to render modern ovens safe. There is also no clear direction on how long or how hot it needs to be to render it safe. These manufacturers leave it to guess work and this is KILLING our family members.

Whirlpool washer

I have had the bad experience with Whirlpool that is still unresolved 2 months now. It's brand new washer, no power on . The company sent wrong piece and technician has been here 4 times trying to repair it since. They tried so many configurations of parts. They have been on the phone with the Whirlpool tech line numerous times. I have called the parts line. I have called customer service numerous times. They all do not give answers. They say i have to wait and resolve it with the technician and go through "the proper steps" and "wait for a report". Nobody gets back to me. The technician is not getting the right parts from them or the right info. It's now over two months, no washer fixed I even call whirlpool everyday The technician is saying that it should be resolve issue with in 12 days even though he said there is no guaranteed if it will be fix but they will keep trying and ordering the parts.I have three children and a job how hard it is doing five to six loads outside how expensive it is . I already spend $300 dollars on laundry.I feel like these big companies don't give a **** about supporting their products or providing customer service and we have no recourse. We have to sit here and take it. I have submitted my official complaint to the company with BBB. I hope my request will be escalated soon. I will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again.

Whirlpool maytag refrigerator model mft2776fez

We bought a brand new Maytag for 2, 800 on 11/28/16. A year ago our refrigerator stops working and our food spoils which was an utter disaster and hassle.

Luckily it was under warranty. Apparently a new part was installed and a service call as the freezer worked but the fridge didn't.

Fast forward 1 year and its De Ja Vu. Now only nothing is under warranty. Who pays almost 3K for a defective Fridge?. Apparently I do and Maytag owned by Whirpool doesn't care but they can offer me an extended warranty for only $572.

What a great deal!

This high end fridge $2800 was purchased 11/28/16 as noted above. We bought this because we wanted a top of the line refrigerator for our family of 5. We are very frustrated that this fridge had an issue 1 year ago which was clearly not resolved leading me to believe its the fridge itself which is defective. Now we need to pay an undisclosed sum, I'm guessing $200-300 for a second service call along with throwing out spoiled food out of are fridge twice. the worst part is that Wirlpool/Maytag seems to go on the offensive when calling in asking if we can get the service call covered. The response is no and you can buy a warranty for $572. I don't buy a 3K fridge to pay an annual $200-300 defective fridge service call which also entails me taking a morning off work to throw out rotted food and transporting what is salvaged into a 1980's garage fridge which has proven to be more efficient. What is most upsetting is the fact that if I were a betting man, its not if this will happen a third time but when and at what cost.

If I could get the service call covered I would be satisfied with the inconvenience.

Whirlpool gas range

The external temperature of my oven is very, very hot to the touch. I have not gotten a temperature reading, however, I will be soon. In all my years I have never had an oven door or side walls be hot to the touch. It not only increases the temperature of my kitchen tremendously, it also poses a safety hazard to anyone who walks by and a potential fire hazard for the cabinets that are hugging the range.

Whirlpool whirlpool refrigerator

Extremely upset with the refrigerator I have gotten from whirlpool. Unfortunately over the 2 and half years I have had every part in this fridge repaired and it is still freezing up. When I contact whirlpool all that do is try to get me to buy an extended warranty. I don't want an extended warranty on something that I'm still going to have to call quarterly about because it can't get fixed correctly. Extremely upset with whirlpool and will never buy a whirlpool product again.

I bought this junk in the fall of 2009. Since then we have had the hinge pin and lock replaced 3 times!.. Now broke again!... Weve had the bearing replace 3 times! Now its out again! The tub replaced twice! And ploblems with thr pressuee wasswoth hose blocked! This product is a lemon and should be replaced by you! Someone call me [protected] I work 730am - 430pm so call after 430pm!

Whirlpool dishwashers

httpI just want to write this and let you know how disappointed I am with the dishwasher that I purchased. I had a GE dishwasher that was very old but worked great, I had no problem with it other than it was old, so I decided I should get a new one before it broke. This is where the disappointment started. I bought a warranty with the machine and they had to come at least 4 times to fix it the pump would break because of it freezing, well I never had a problem with my old dishwasher, well here we are again the dishwasher broke again and we have been without it for 3 months or all winter, I did not know that we should only buy summer dishwashers my warranty ran out and I guess so are we on having a whirlpool dishwasher, I bought a whirlpool because I only heard good things, well I am very disappointed. The model number is wdt710paywsix

Whirlpool hotpoint engineer

I want a senior manager at whirlpool to read and reply to this formal complaint.during the month of July 2017 I had the same hotpoint engineer visit my property on 2 occasions.on the 27TH of July 2017 he repaired my washing machine and through his bad workmanship he forget to refit the hose pipe to which caused extensive damage to my property.I made a claim against hotpoint as I was insured at the time the hotpoint engineer carried out the repair and caused the water damage.this claim has been going on now 9 months and hotpoint have now appointed a loss adjuster.this loss adjuster appointed by hotpoint has done nothing but tell lies and been deceitful.every time he contacts me he tries to change the story as of what happened the day the damage was caused so that hotpoint do not have to pay compensation for the damage caused.the loss adjuster named Roderick McCauley is well known on social media and to be honest the people's views of him or not great as he's well known for going against the victims who claim for damages through bad workmanship.roderick McCauley sent an assessor to my property to view the damage and after speaking to him on numerous occasions he cannot believe the way mr McCauley is going about this claim.iv recently contacted KNOWHOW over an issue about one of their engineers having to attend my property to do a repair to my washing machine to which was vandalised by the hotpoint engineer on the 27TH July.their report stated that they had to repair a lead from the washing machine to which was cut by the hotpoint engineer and that it was bad workmanship on his behalf.my family have had to suffer these past 9 months over this serious issue and it shows no sign of ending as the loss adjuster who was appointed is not fit to be in employment when he continues to not accept responsibility for the damage caused and in the process tries to cover it up with lies.

The loss adjuster appointed to deal with this claim is Roderick McCauley Charles Taylor loss adjusting.iv dealt with people in my life time but iv never came across a more unprofessional ignoramous like this person mentioned above.

Whirlpool refrigerator

I am extremely displeased with Whirlpool customer service, resolution department and product. After ordering a 6 Whirlpool appliance bundle from PC Richards in East Brunswick, NJ, we have been 3 months without a refrigerator. There has been hours spent on phone calls with Whirlpool, Alliance Appliance and PC Richards; 5 days taken off from work and hours wasted with service technicians inside my home; 4 different diagnosis; hundreds of dollars in spoiled food and unnecessary take out orders; and a brand new appliance scratched up from service technicians. After 2 months of trying to get my 3 month old refrigerator exchanged, all we have been told is "buyer's remorse", and "this part can be replaced but it will never work 100 %", etc. Whirlpool refuses to replace a refrigerator, and PC Richards of East Brunswick refuses to accept responsibility for selling us a lemon. Something needs to be done. I do not want any more repair men in my home for a 4 month old refrigerator that never worked. I want it replaced as soon as possible. Still no solution.

Whirlpool refrigerator

I am extremely displeased with Whirlpool customer service, resolution department and product. After ordering a 6 Whirlpool appliance bundle from PC Richards in East Brunswick, NJ, we have been 3 months without a refridgerator. There has been hours spent on phone calls with Whirlpool, Alliance Appliance and PC Richards; 5 days taken off from work and hours wasted with service technicians inside my home; 4 different diagnosis; hundreds of dollars in spoiled food and unnecessary take out orders; and a brand new appliance scratched up from service technicians. After 2 months of trying to get my 3month old refrigerator exchanged, all we have been told is "buyer's remorse", and "this part can be replaced but it will never work 100 %", etc. Whirlpool refuses to replace a refidgerator, and PC Richards of East Brunswick refuses to accept responsibility for selling us a lemon. Something needs to be done. I do not want any more repair men in my home for a 4 month old refridgerator tgat never worked. I want it replaced as soon as possible. What can be done?

Whirlpool warranty service

I'm a contractor that purchases multiple appliances a year.
I purchased for a customer a compact washer and dryer from Lowe's.
The ventless dryer failed a few weeks ago but when I went to schedule service found no model/serial sticker .
Lowe's has supplied copy of joint purchase receipt and pictures showing no sticker ever installed but they refuse to service.
I pointed out it's a 1 year warranty and Lowe's has only been selling them for 9 months but they refuse to stand behind your product.
I have stopped purchasing Whirlpool and related products until this is resolved but they don't seem to mind.
Say the sticker had to be removed but in automated assembly errors are possible.
Do you stand behind this obvious warranty?

Whirlpool refrigerator

Message to Whirlpool:

We originally purchased this same model but it froze up on us directly after purchase and was replaced with this one. The new one just had to be repaired due to the same problem the first one had. We understand that this issue was already known to your company and no recall notice or letter of any sort was sent to us. You intentionally did not notify us and our fridge had to die on us and we lose countless food items because of your deception and incredibly poor customer service. We had a fantastic repair man fix the issue but cannot in any way EVER buy another Whirpool product. You KNEW there was a faulty part in this model and left us with a defective item. Luckily this weekend we came home from out of town early and could salvage some of our food. At least 20 bags of ice in coolers later, we are still waiting for the fridge to calibrate and be able to use it after the repair.

I always write reviews on items. I prefer to write good reviews, but you leave me no choice but to report horrendous customer service on your part. I will also post in social media to all my friends and family to never purchase any of your products.

Whirlpool dishwasher

Renovated a house for resale

Purchased brand new dishwasher on 4/28/17, Delivery scheduled for 5/2/17

House was renovated and listed and inspected by February 2018

Inspector noted the dishwasher was not draining

Immediately called Whirlpool because dishwasher was never used before and still under warranty.

First company Alliance Appliance came out March 7
then March 14

Second inspection noticed a slow leak and problem draining

Second company Bucko's Appliance
was scheduled for May 3
then
May 7
then
May 14

THE DISHWASHER IS STILL LEAKING ALL OVER THE BRAND NEW KITCHEN. BUYER WANTS DISHWASHER FIXED BEFORE PURCHASE

HOW UNFAIR IS THIS? I've spent over 50 hours on hold, speaking to, emailed, waiting for repair techs regarding this brand new dishwasher we paid for with our hard earned money. Still on hold for 44 minutes. No help in sight.
