On [protected] was called out to wendys for my husband after not once but twice he lost all counciousness. the mgr on duty decided to take it upon herself not to contact me his wife after he had stopped breathing for at least 45 seconds. the mgr on duty said it was not important enough to contact me or any family member. then when i walked down to ask why i wasnt contacted both managers on duty were laughing and said i was disrespecting them. i was then told phoenix fire dept told her not to bother his family at home and worry them. then i wa told in the incident report it states my husband refused to go yet when my husband read the report it never stated that. on top of that the gm of the store will not give me the correct number i need to talk to corporate and the district manager. refuses to give me more than five minutes os his time. On top of that my husband is on strict docters orders for light duty they have lifting and carrying heavy items doing morning openings pouring heavy chilli containers, getting ice etc wich probaly led up to the incident on friday. someone please respond to this if you can becouse im trying to understand how this can be jusstified! this is inhumane treatment of an employee and their is no exuse for it!

wendy's management and
Countryside..Co workers are treated with no respect from management. I am an ex-worker and I've seen and heard alot of the terrible things that go on in these fast food settings. From the supervisor lowering a co worker hours to one day a week with about 4 hours hoping that the co worker would quit their job so that she doesn't have to fire them and then...
Read full review of Wendy’s and 1 commentmanager to crew
on 08-05-09 an asst. manager was booted back down to crew, because another person didn, t do their job. this asst. manager has been working there almost 2 years. she had worked her way up from crew to asst. manager, working the closing shift and day shift. she has two kids to take care of plus other bills and just barely getting by. she has took a big cut in pay and has now lost the only insurance she had. i think this is ### on wendy, s part. they could have handle it another way. all they are looking at is a dollar not the people that work for them . i don, t think this is daves way, it, s the people who own these wendys in bowling green that don, t care about anyone but themself. i will not eat there any more because of this. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR THEM.

wrong order every time
9 out of 10 times that I go through the drive through there they (the idiots behind the fast food window F something up! This has been going on for years and you may ask yourself well, why does she continue to go there? Wel, I like the food when it's correct! But I know I'm NOT the only one- so many friends as well neighbors here in Milford agree and are disgusted but we continue to keep mouths shut and visit the place- Food's "usually" good I should say actually. PLEASE Someone do something- Gonna attempt to call Wendy's headquarters...Wish they would straighten this out I mean come' on it's the easiest job in the world people?!?

We went to purchase 10 double cheeseburgers and 3 fries. The problem is when we got home we seen we were shorted a few burgers and fries were hard..But that's not all, the burgers were singles not doubles. We live 30 minutes away and had to go back just for the order to get done wrong again. And saturated with lots of mustard. The meat on 3 of the burgers tasted or felt like they had either been reheated several times or over cooked and reheated. Not the first time it happened but very rare. We waited at the speaker for them to take our order for around 15 minutes and another 20 minutes just to get the order just for it all to be wrong and have to make second trip and it still wrong. The only good thing is attitudes were. Please let me knpw what we can do. Thanks. Troy Alabama. Melisa morgan please contact me.
product bait-n-switch
Wendy's has been advertising their "new" spicy Asian chicken. The commercials and print ads show big chunks of chicken, glistening with a nice coating of some special sauce overflowing a black plastic tray. What you get is nothing even close to this. Basically, what you get are Wendy's chicken nuggets, arranged in a plastic tray, and drizzled with sauce. The chicken does not look anything like what they advertise. In fact, what it looks like is someone took their chicken nuggets (that they sell for far less money) tossed them in a tray and poured some sauce on them. The chicken is not "coated" in the sauce. It is floating in the sauce. It is not thick, juicy, boneless chicken wing pieces (as they told me it was supposed to be when I called). Its pressed, breaded, nasty chicken that has been warmed up and tossed on a tray. Its a rip off! A BIG BIG RIP OFF.
I've visited three Wendy's in two different cities just to confirm that this wasn't an isolated incident of someone not knowing what they were doing. All three experiences were identical and, in one case, an employee actually argued with me that the pathetic looking food on my tray looked just like the chicken on the poster plastered on the wall next to the cash register. Another customer overheard our discussion and CHANGED HIS ORDER as a result. He thanked me and told me that he thought the "new" chicken was a joke as well.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
The chicken was completely different than what their chicken nuggets are. Wish they would bring it back
Yes, the Asian chicken is a big rip-off. Nearly $4 for six dinky chicken nuggies. definitely not what I expected. They would be good if there were more of them for the price. Heck, it was about a dollars worth of chicken. how cheap.
It tastes good because I was super hungry, but it DOES NOT look like the advertisement. It was some chicken nuggets FLOATING in some Asian ripoff sauce. I only ate and continued to eat WENDY'S, because I love DAVE THOMAS and his commercials...but he has died and it is no longer owned by the family...! Freakin ARBY's owns it! :-(
rudeness
The majority of the managers that work at this particular Wendy's are rude, they harass there employees, they have no care in the world for others, they are completely out of line. My fiance works for Wendy's and has worked for Wendy's for 3 years and he called in sick because him and i both got sick and the manager at the time working the shift said that it would be ok. When two in the morning rolled around a different manager decided to call on her cell phone and complain to my fiance that she needed him and wouldn't take the fact he was sick into consideration. Sometimes there employees don't get there breaks when scheduled or don't get the scheduled amount of breaks. The management there is unfair, it's uncalled for, it's not right, and once my fiance get himself a new job i intend to find a way to sue Wendy's.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You have no case. Whining is not a basis for a lawsuit.
You should be more concerned that you plan on marrying a fast food worker. At least set a higher bar for yourself as a woman.
poor service &conduct
Wendy's has gotten worst every year. Poor service and unfair to their employees wrong. Managers stepping out of the place. I thought they were not allow to date their own employee. It's ok as long as they keep it out of the work place but in front of the employees and customers doing things that are not appropriate. I use to love going to wendy's but this wendy's located at harlem and higgins its just awful in every way you can think of.

NO LOUD CAPPING IT KINDA SUCKS TOO READ IT YOU SHOULD CALLED THE SUPERVISOR AND ASK FOR THE MANAGER TOO STOP AND TAKE THEIR WORK SERIOUSLY
stay away!
I have not patronized the wendy's restaurant in my small town for at least 2-3 years, due to the snotty and hateful attitudes of the employees and manager there. They acted like they were being put-upon by performing the jobs they are obviously paid to do. Not all racists are white, obviously. That's ok wendy's keep your *** burgers! They're not that *** special anyway. This problem is obviously not confined to my small town, but seems to be entrenched in the entire wendy's conglomerate. I hope nobody buys your crap and you are forced to go out of business. You suck!

I ordered my food at around 8:15 PM after waiting in line for about 15 minutes, left at 8:59 PM with NO food. They had me waiting for so long. After 2 customers who ordered after me recieved their food, I went up to the counter to ask if they forgot about my order. They did, then after seeing 3 more customers who ordered recieve their food even after I reminded them of my order, I went up and asked for a refund. They didn't even offer me to have the sandwich for free. Horrible service and absurd waiting time, how about finding people who can actually do the job!
I worked at wendy's for about a year and a half. Since I been there, I saw with my own eyes one of the top managers (elena) cheating on her own husband having sex in the back of the store where we keep food for the customers! I gave the complaint to the other manager harriet) over top of her, and she dismissed it and got mad and told me to go leave work and go home. I felt that I was doing the right thing about bringing it to someones attention because of all the diseases that could be spread when having sex around food! And for what I found out later on, that elena was taking medicine for herpes. That even makes the situation worse. Anyway, now that I have covered the disgusting part, here's the ignorance part. For me bringing the situation to the other managers attention (Harriet) has made (Elena) hold a grudge at me and threatened me many of times that she was going to get me back. Since then, I have been suspended, had my hours reduced and treated with ignorance, all because I brought a nasty situation to someone (Harriet) that I thought would handle it professionally. The two top managers (Harriet) and (Elena) work together on the morning shift so therefore whenever someone whether customer or employee has a complaint, it goes no further than either one. For example:when I brought the complaint to (Harriet) about (Elena) having sex in the store around food, during working hours (Harriet) said "again"! And the only punishment she received was nothing at all!
Well..
let me begin to tell you about my little adventure with wendys is chillicothe ohio. me and my family went in around 9:20 pm to get a snack before heading home. the lady on register asked " are you guys ready to order now? " but being in the fast food industy i let that slide. my mom started the order with a kids meal for my younger sister.. than my other sister ordered. this lady interupted us and informed us that we were confusing her and we needed to slow down. again i didnt say anything cause i know fast food. my dad stood up there to wait for our food while the rest of us sat down. i sat down and realized that we were missing a drink. i walked up and told my dad. he told the lady on register and she refused to give us the drink we paid for. she said she made it and doesnt know what we did with it. so the manager comes over and takes the side of the lady on register. saying we were rude and loud. let me tell you we did not once raise our voice. so we took our food to go and left... and we were missing half our order. so needless to say my family will never eat at a wendys again. POOR SERVICE!
I went through the drive thru, something I don't usually like to do, as the order usually gets screwed up. I didn't receive a straw, so I opened the lid to get a drink from my soda. It was well over an inch from the top of the cup. As I paid over $2.00 for the drink, I expect it to be full. When I got home and looked in the bag, did not get a receipt, or else I might have called the store. Also did not receive any eating utensils, napkin, etc. Kind of hard to eat a salad without a fork.
I can not believe that management did this... I ordered a double burger... I was given a hamburger with 4 patties on it... When I explained to the manager about this, she then explained to me " we ran out of patties so we resorted to using JR. burger patties instead... These patties are so thin after cooking there is hardly any meat left... You would think I would have been made aware of this before I made my purchase... Of course they wouldn't do this, they are afraid of losing a sale...
My girlfriend was six months pregnant. She is a vegetarian. She was so hungry that she started gagging and wanted to lay down, but needed to eat. So since I was driving I stopped and went to the nearest place for food. Wendys. After waiting in line for twenty five minutes despite there only being two other customers in the store, and probably five employees working drive-through window that I could see, someone finally took my order. I asked for a cheeseburger with everything on it, except NO MEAT. Yes, I want a burger roll with lettuce, tomato, etc.. and skip the burger. I watched the girl that was working the assembly line of food, watched her mess up several times by putting burger patties onto the rolls, and then throw them away. By this time, I had been waiting well over half an hour (which is standard time there, go check yourself - I just didn't know it at the time.) for a cold roll with several condiments on it. The manager went over to the girl to see what was taking so long, and when she saw it was to have no meat, she said to the employee, and I quote, "oh, haha.. that boy should just go home and make his own f*cking sandwich." It took all of my resolve not to show any anger and feed this woman her own nose, but I had to choke it down because I needed the food for my girlfriend.
Rude service at Wendy's. The girl (Only girl) at the counter who took my order had the most racist demeaner. She should have just just asked me what the Fu*k I wanted to order. The manager looked just as lame and not caring. I won't cater to Wendy's until I see an approvement in their staff attitude. Very unprofessional organization. This particular Wendy's is on Baseline & Ellsworth in Mesa Arizona. In retalliation I poured some Ketchup on their customer eating area rug floor. Improve or get more ketchup revenge Wendy's.
First off I was out with mychurch friend to wendy's
a couple of weeks ago on a friday nite and it made
me sick there were flies houvering all over us and the glass windows and our
food. then about a week later my daughter went there with her boyfriend and this empolyee named nikki and dustin were very rude and nasty to my daughter for no reason at all I'm not going to patron this resturant again for sure clean it up and your employees too
So i'm hungry go around the corner to wendy's and pull up at the drive thru. Ask the cashier to hold for second while I decided what I wanted to order. I guess she didn't hear me then she ask to take my order then I guess me having to tell her to wait again made her upset. So when ready she ask me to hold with no one in line then I said hello and she repeated oh I need u to wait. So finally I had to drive around to the window to place my order and then I recieved o receipt with my order. To top it all off the manager walk right past the window and looked at me like I was crazy! Something needs to be done about those type of people
Wendy's restaurant on 114th street in rockaway beach, new york, I sat in the drive thru for about 7-8 minutes. when they finally came to the drive thru everything I ordered they did not have (large size meals, no baked potatoes, no chicken nuggets) on occassions they do not have the proper condiments. Also I witnessed a staff memeber changing the garbage bag with the plastic gloves and as soon as he fininshed throwing it out he returned and started putting hamburgers to cook with the same gloves he had on when he was messing with the garbage. I spoke to the manager who 's explanation was he did not touch the garbage only the bag...
it's anything but premium.
$4.00 for a tiny, tasteless fish sandwich? Yikes!
I had high hopes when ordering Wendy's highly advertised "Premium Fish" sandwich, but I was very disappointed to receive a tiny, nearly tasteless filet on a plain white bun with only a small lettuce leaf and dab of musty-tartar-goop.
Traditional "premium" toppings such as tomato, onion, pickle, and mustard were missing. A whole grain bun would have been nice for the $3.39 price, too. Cheese costs 40 cents extra! Total with tax was over FOUR BUCKS for the bland fishette (no, not a combo, just one disappointing sandwich).
Wendy's should call it the "Little Fish" and place it on their dollar menu - their fish sandwich isn't worth any more than a buck.
If Wendy's "Premium" (not) fish filet sandwich had only cost one dollar, then my only complaint would be that it made my tummy hurt.

This is by far the worst Wendys I've ever visited. Immediately after walking in the door, the obscene rap music blaring over the sound system caught my attention and should have been my clue to leave. I proceeded to order anyways which lead to further disappointment when the cashier told me they were out of two things I wanted to order. After settling for cold fries and rock hard nuggets, I noticed how cold it was inside the facility. The weather outdoors at the time was around 40 degrees. I was literally shivering the entire time I was there. Without a doubt, the heat was not turned on. My experience was far from pleasant trying to enjoy my crappy food while listening to Snoop Dog in a dirty room with no heat! Clearly the owner of this location does not value his customers, or their dining experience. This was one of my worst dining experiences to date.
I went to this Wendys for lunch between 12:00 and1:00, several times and every time I went, my order was screwed up, I would order chili, it was cold and nothing to eat it with, or the fries were old, hard & no salt, 3 times I had no straw for my drink and they give me One napkin! Too many mess ups to list. Took my order back once, because it was wrong, the GM came out ( Her name started with an A---r ) snatched the bag out of my hand, rolled her eyes at me and went to the back, I had to wait over 10 minutes just to fix my order! And the manager that took it, never came back to me, never offered an apology! Awful customer service! Then I started working night shift, went back to the same Wendys, now I know the meaning of "different as night and day" I never had hardly Any of the problems I mentioned before, if they did get my order wrong, the night time Manager, Sarah, was more then happy to make it right, very pleasent, always smiling and I only had to take my order back once, after that, Sarah made sure my order was right every time. It turned into my favorite place to go, until I went last night and found out that they let Sarah go! Now they are back to crappy service. I Am Done with that Wendys! I know fast food restaurants are supposed to be fast, but they need to worry more about the Quality of their food and their customers, but it's obvious this GM cares about neither. Yesterday was the last day I will ever go there, unless there is a change in that Management! CM
Wendys has gotten cheaper and cheaper i have seen many thing just to be cheaper they stick thier 20 nuggets in medeium fries and dont salt thier fries dont give you food and dont punch in the holes to tell you your drink which makes it more diffucult the y just dont care like they used to
Paid $3.99 for 7 chicken nuggets smothered in chipotle sauce. Could have bought 10 nuggets for $2.00 and asked for some of that sauce on the side ( it was offered as a sauce choice for the other plain nuggets I bought). Looks like a whole different product on TV. The sauce was good, with a nice kick, but I still feel ripped off! I'll just stick to the dollar menu...
I have been an employee for wendys for 1 month. My first week i had 40 Hrs.I am competent and reliable. My main complaint is that the chain of management is terrible the hardest working employee which is a shift lead is constantly turned down for asst mgr position he has been told for the last year he was getting the promotion in which nothing has come of .The assistant manager Danny Newman is terrible he passive aggressively demeans employees and is passively rude to customers. He is too close to employee's.for example buying one employee a car seat for a baby. This leads to serious tension when the person who he cares about calls off, undermines his authority or has a problem with something he does.He will cut hours as punishment and try's to manipulate employees to choose sides when a conflict arises. My wife is eight months pregnant and she had a problem with another asst. mgr. handling raw chicken for the grill and then immediately making sandwiches which is very dangerous to pregnant people the elderly and children. He stepped in and said don't worry about it she replied i am going to worry about it she needs to change her gloves he told her "the customers can hear you" and she replied "good they should know that their food is being touched by someone who just touched raw chicken".He told her to "go home" where he try'd to tell her to come to the backroom where he would probably verbally abuse her which he has many times she said no if your going to say somthing your going to say it here now so everyone can hear you, go home he says so she does.He has done this with another employee but he didnt send her home another couple works there and the guy found another job Danny was mad so he took him off of the schedule even though the employee did not request less hours danny took it as a personal abandonment and got angry he took it out on the employees wife and this is how the situation rose the employee asked why does the grill get taken down so early it is not any faster if we clean that grill off early.he said don't worry about it. so she said well then im taking down the grill in which he responds dont take it down yet she replies why can another employee take it down early but i cant.where he states if your so worried about that employees job then why dont you just do yours and shes not going to help you at all tonight where he told the other employees to not help this employee out at all.now we are very efficient when we work together as a team when he puts the employees against each other it creates an environment not conducive to work smoothly. My wife has on several occasions seen him make sandwiches without gloves on.prep bacon then head into the walk-in fridge and prep salads. He sent my wife home early today which cut her hours and our money which we are trying to save for our new baby! She contacted the RGM and she is sick and told her that she would have a meeting next week to discuss issues with the employees. The evaluations on employees are very one sided we are not trained properly and only receive raises of 10-40 cents per six months none of the employees have ever gotten more then 10 cents. this is a corporate store.the ONLY great shift lead there is making 8.65/hr and has put 4 years of his life into wendys only to be used up and forced to seek employment elsewhere. In my opinion Wendys has set a terrible example of good HR and i am very disappointed with this store.
I went through the drive thru, and was first greeted by with a very tired, short tone of voice. I told him 2 oders of nuggets, fries and shake. He asked what kind of sauce I said sweet n sour... No greeting of any kind once I got up to the window, just handed my food. I noticed there were no sauce in the bag so I asked a 2nd time for sweet n sour. He reluctantly handed me ONE. I said "2 please" he grabbed FOUR more and slammed them into my hand simultaneously yelling "HERE!" and was shaking his head no. His name tag said "Brett" on it he was an older gentleman. I hope this complaint falls into the hands of someone that will do something about it, because I spend alot of money at tat Wendys every week and at this point I will never visit that location again!
While buying breakfast at this Wendy's store (9335 Irving Park Rd. in Schiller Park, IL) I joined the conversation of two waitresses complaining about how their manager (a woman) is completing the "employee confidential survey" for them. Interesting, I said, while senior management is trying their best to improve the image of their stores we see store managers interfering and preventing employees to express their views; and perhaps covering potential irregularities within the store. I wonder if Wendy's senior management is aware of the behavior of this manager.
This past Sunday, I decided to go to the Wendy's by my house for a burger. I figured I haven't eaten there in a while, and I needed to get to my next job quickly, so it's a quick fix for a meal.
HUGE MISTAKE! Granted, I'm not expecting to get the best service on Earth from a fast food joint (which is why I rarely b-i-t-c-h about fast food places), but the service was so horrible that it deserves to be mentioned in order to warn others.
I went inside to order. At first, the cashier cops an attitude with me for not speaking to her in Spanish, and basically tried to make me feel like dirt for just trying to order a #1. I know some limited, but that's besides the point. I shouldn't have to speak a foreign language unless I'm in a foreign country.
Although I felt like telling her off, I bit my tongue and repeated my order slowly and clearly. Not only did I have to repeat my order 3 times, she gave me the wrong change.
She kept insisting that I couldn't do math, then I told her, "Look, the total was $5.13. I gave you $6.00. The change should be $0.87, not $0.08. Maybe you're the one who needs a remedial math class." She brushed me off, and that just set me off from that point forward.
I asked to speak to the manager. When he arrived, and he basically was a total [censored]. I told him twice I wanted a refund, and instead he tried handing me $0.50. I told him that we're apparently having some miscommunication here, and I asked for a refund once again. Then he decided to be a *** and pretend that he couldn't speak English, although he had no problem speaking to the police officer that was at the drive-thru.
That's when I realized that the only way I'm going to get my point to get really nasty with them. I responded with, "Oh, I'm sorry...*ahem*...Hi! Welcome to America! Learn the language and give me my money back while you're at it!"
He then opened the register and gave me the $6.00 calling me "comemierda" during the exchange (it means roughly translates to either 'a-s-s-h-o-l-e' or 's-h-i-t-h-e-a-d' in English). I made sure to take my money back first, and I simply replied to him back in his native tongue, "Vaya a singarte, maricon enano!" (which roughly translates to 'Go f-u-c-k yourself, you f-a-g-g-y midget!') To top it off, that same stupid b-i-t-c-h that short-changed me did the same to the lady in back of me during this ordeal. I simply left and have made the point to never come return to that location.
Anyways, it's quite obvious that the employees/employers at this location lack basic social skills and can't handle 1st grade level math. This is the location of the restaurant:
6720 SW 8TH STREET
MIAMI, FL 33144 USA
Avoid it like the plague unless you want to deal with angry idiots who'll probably spit in your food, jip you out of change, and try to alienate you for not speaking a foreign dialect. I hope the CEO of this company reads this, so he can fire them all on the spot for being complete a-**-h-o-l-e-s!
I went to wendys today and bought a # 2 dbl cheeseburger with no ketchup and no tomato extra onion and extra pickle. i paid and left went back to work to eat opened my sandwich and to my surpise their is ketchup tomaato no pickle and no onion. I called and spoke to the manager and she said im sorry i dont know what to tell you..its lunch time...they wer not even busy...I will never go back to wendys again the bad thing is its the only one that we have here in town and i love wendys but when the manager said i dont know what to tell you i got mad...She did not even seem to care that my meal was messed up im allerg. to red # 2, 3, 4, 7 so i cant eat ketchup or tomato or spag. sauce...I told here that and she said its not her problem...I will never go back...Thanks so much ...
Two days ago I went to Wendy's on Beltline in Irving. I have always loved Wendy's. Unfortunately for the last couple of visits apparently the people taking the order after I paid for it have given me the wrong order.
The last time I ordered a Bacon Burger but instead received just a burger.
I called and got nowhere. I was told I should have checked my order before leaving the parking lot and there was nothing they could do about it. I have had similar situations with this same Wendy's and now believe I will go elsewhere since no one seems to care about the service.
short changed at the drive through.
Mid-afternoon (1:45 pm) hunger pangs led me to the Wendy's drivethrough where I ordered a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger at a cost of $1.06. I paid with a $10 bill, a dime, and a penny-- meaning I should have received $9.05 change. What I got was a $5 bill, three $1 bills, a nickel, and $1.00 coupon. What made me angry enough to post was that one of the singles I got in change was folded in half, so that when handed to me fanned out it looked like I was getting a $5 and four $1's.
I supsect the $1 coupon I received was either meant to diminish the chance that I'd turn around if I noticed the "gaffe" or to help the cashier balance their register at shift's end. I like Wendy's food, but this wasn't the first bad experience I've had and I intend to deny them the opportunity to do it to me again.

treating employees unfairly
I am a current wendys employee and I believe that some of our employees are being treated unfairly... First of all, me. I was tld to slice tomatoes one night at about 830 pm for the next morning and I wasnt even nicely asked she just told me I had to and I was in the middle of doing other things so I told her that I wasnt going to to them because I was in the middle of doing things night shift is supposed to do and I didnt feel it was right for me to have to do morning crews job when I wasnt morning crew so my manager sent me home.2 days later I called out because I am pregnant and was having stomach pains and needed to see a doc so she cut my hours for the next 2 weeks... When I told the manager above her she just agreed and said I should have listened to my manager on shift... Then next 2 times I worked w// the manager who sent me home she made comments abut how she would make me slice tomatoes one night... So I asked her for corporates number and she told me she wont give it to me because she will get in trouble which tells me it is against policy to slice tomatoes the night before so why am I being penelized for not doing something that I am not supposed to do in the first place...
Thats me but there is also a girl I work with who gets 5 hrs a week but wants more and they tell her there are too many people workin to give her more hrs but they hire new employees! She is now being told she doesnt get her hrs because she doesnt do gher job right (No one ever trained her properly to give her a chance) so then she got more hrs next weekend they gave her 4 to close and 5 to close this weekend she asked a fellow employee if she could take her shift the manager on shift ok'd it but as soon as the manager who writes schedule found out she took one of next weeks days away
Please some one tell me what we can do about all this!

My husband works for the Wendy's in buckhannon wv. He's been there for almost 3 years and is now a manager. He's loyal, a hard worker, and never calls off sick or leaves a shift early. He went in for a mid shift today and was sent home. I asked why. What he told me really ticked me off. Seems like his gen man suspended him for not buying light bulbs. Light bulbs! He is not maintenance or a janitor! He comes home after every shift and tells me what goes on in that place and I don't know how he keeps going back there. The whole place is women friendly...but if you're a man then you are second class and not as good. Most employees...managers included...do as little as they possibly can. The gm pads shifts she works and the male managers are forced to send people home and only have 5-6 crew to work a busy dinner. She treats the women so much better than the men...there are only 2 male managers. When I tell him to say something about it, he says it will just make things worse. The owner of the franchise is a good, caring man, and doesn't see what is happening. I know it's not my place to complain. This is a small town and jobs are hard to find so you put up with everything. It hurts me that once he was excited to go to work and now he's not. Thank you for letting me get this off my chest.
I am tired of my boss always yelling at me.
I work in the wendy's in hope mills north carolina just started the fryer position 9 days ago keeping fresh fries and nuggets just doin my job when
All of a sudden my shift is over its 8pm I been working since 3:55 as soon as im steps away from punching out... manager yells we got a bus
Some little bus filled with a christian group of 15 ppl walk in and I was just about to punch out my manager in front of all other employees gets an attitude with me telling me you aint going nowhere and I done told you before you go when I say you go... I was under anger management till I was 20 im 27 now and I to this very day still get livid over someone telling me its over when I say its over like shes my mother shes my boss sure but I will not be disrespected and embarassed in front of a team of staff so if anyone here feels like this is abuse of power or just straight negative stereotyping please let me what I should do
Good advice, but I think she wanted you to give her a solution that won't get her fired.
I donot want to mention my name in this post but I want a solution . I was hired at wendy at horsham, PA. My manager Lee Larson was nice while she took my interview. In the first day she told me to cut salad and told First I have to expert in setting salad. every day 30 salad bowl are made depending customer needs. After 7 days in morning she started bullying me considering that I don't understand english. I am 20 years in usa and I did my Associate degree from a local community college. I worked 5 years in a doctors office and was fired in november 2016. I needed to have a job of any kind to pay bill and to feed myself. After joining the store first I found everyone hired there are relatives of the Manager. I was only Bangladeshi was working there. All the time pushing, no please and thank you in language. Yelling to employees is her daily habit. This women has serious mental issue. She is frustrated with personal issues and project that anger to innocent employees. She is cocain addicted. I saw syringes around her car in parking lot. If Wendy company thinks that they would hire drug addicted people in responsible position then I have to tell no one should work in that slave factory. 4 hours in a row I fried french fries and does not allowed me to drink water. I quit last week because while working there I was suffering from low self esteem and always feared now she would bulley me. Do you think Horsham Wendy is a healthy environment to work. I remorsed why didn't I call 911 to bring cops in the store. I should crate a scene in front of the customers that how leela tortured me. I want to bring this issue to Better Business Beuro that wendy treating employees as slave.
I bought a single combo with a glass of tea, and swallowed something that has stuck in my throat and has made me very sick. My ice was melted in my tea, and when i sucked from the straw something went through the straw has stuck in my throat, and I'm very sick, so after a week now I'm going to the doctor. I'm am scared and trying not to think about it, but its hard, because its there in my throat, no matter what i eat or drink, its there. I will never eat at Wendy's again.
I just quit from Wendy's from not getting enough hours I guess the gm didn't like me cause she kept hiring new people and cut my hours short but they was already plotting to fire the whole crew smh Patterson Ave store is off the hook
This flower shop in boyertown pa sucks. The owners are rude. They have over priced items. Old fashioned items on the shelf for years!
The general manager feed a burger to a customer that was dropped in sanitizer water knowingly. They hide the clean rags and cleaning supplies from employees because the manager has the lowest cleaning cost in the area and is proud of herself . They use the same cleaning cloth all day. The employees get yelled at for changing gloves if they have to pick up something from the floor. My kid works there and tells me not to eat there. What gives? If you are afraid to eat the food where you work something is seriously there. Dont eat there.
My husband and I ate at Wendys 11/8/2011 around 7:45pm. We went thru the drive thru. The girl who took our order did not smile or say thank you after I had said thank you first. When we drove to the window to pick up our food the gentleman shoved the food in my hand and did not say thank you, kiss my foot or anything. We do not intend to eat their ever again.

Please, listen too me when i tell you this. Wendys is the worst establishment too work at possible. The hell that is wendys started on my first day. They trained me on grill, which also has the responsibilities of frying and grilling all the chicken, cooking baked potatoes, stocking the freezer, making chilli, and most disgusting of all, handling all the trash. The other employees are unhelpful, and because our hiring manager is a creep. We currently only have 4 males working there and 18 girls. And normally this wouldnt be a problem. But the guys are forced too literally do all of the work while the girls sit in the back and flirt with the 35 year old manager because they know they dont have too do much work if they do. They have a stupid policy which states you can only get your check between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 on friday and saturday. Which is no good for me because i dont get home from college until 4 and my bank closes at 6. But specifically the managers are imature. One night while working drive through (whose responsiblities also include dishes) i had finished all my dishes for my shift early and was helping prepare sandwhiches (which you think would be rewarded) instead i went back too the dish area too find all 4 sinks filled with all the grill dishes. (which are not supposed too be washed till 11 pm, and it was 7:50pm) Grill dishes take about 2 hours too complete. My shift ended at 8 and they expected me to stay until the dishes were done. I couldnt because i had homework and clearly told them this. They then wrote me up because i refused too stay an extra 2 hours too do their job for them. I was so angry i quit the next day when the manager working that night had the head manager yell at me for not being a "team player" worst job i have ever had.
miller hill mall area location sucks
they ignored us in dt when we tried to order, the workers kept on chatting away while we tried to get their attention. we ended up just pulling forward, and no one would come to the window to give any explanation or to take our order. they would look right at us and then turn their backs and continue whatever enthralling conversation they were having. there was another car behind us too and they held up them getting their order . after nearly ten minutes of this i got out of the car and knocked on the window the lady who was supposed to be taking our order opened it and tried saying we never even said anything to her, but we tried ordering several times and even honked the horn but she ignored us. she refused to take our order at the window, and told to drive back around to the speaker in a very rude manner. we left without ordering. i am a shift supervisor at a different fast food restaurant, and if an employee pulled a stunt like this in our dt they would be sent home with a write up at the very least.you are never supposed to ignore a customer in the dt especially at the window. i will never eat here again and i will tell everybody i know about how much this place sucks.

My 2 yr. old son recently fell and scraped his knee pretty bad outside of one of our local stores, due to grease on the sidewalk from an employee flinging it all over the place. I think they were throwing it into the dumpster. I told the cashiere while I ordered some food for my son and I. While we were waiting for our food I heard her telling someone "I saw the scrape it looks pretty bad and it's still bleeding." They gave him a toy for 3 yrs and older, they didn't even bother to ask me how old he was ! Another careless mistake ! I asked them to clean up the grease so no one else would get hurt but after lunch when we left it was melted on the sidewalk. This store in Sanford, florida located in the seminole center in front of super walmart has NO concideration for its customers and no compassion for little children ! The district manager did contact me the next day and informed me the owner would call me 3 days from then on monday the 9th of march 2009. No one called me, go figure, so I called the dist. manager back. He stated the lady was not back yet she would be back today which was tuesday the 10th of march and to call back around 3:00 p.m. . WHAT?Why should I have to call back? Don't you care about customer satisfaction or small children getting hurt on your property because of a careless employee ?
food service
My fiance and I went to Wend'y February 19 on our way to pay bills. We placed an order for 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, no tomatoe on one and extra mayo on both! We left the drive thru and made our way to pay bills. When we sat down to eat, all we found were the buns with chicken and some mayo. At the time of purchase, there were no other vehicles in the drive thru. it was not a hectic time of day. While making the order, everything came up on the screen exactly how I had asked for it. SO my complaint is why is it so hard to read a ticket? I have worked in a restaurant. I understand the whole food process of taking the orders and filling them. So how is it that one person can take the order perfectly while others neglect the small details. I'm paying Wendy's to get what I want. They didn't give me any money to eat their food! It was way to late to do anything about it because by the time we got home, I was not driving all the way back across town, now in rush hour to get it fixed. It seems like everytime we stop at Wendy's i am very disappointed with their service, whether it's the food is put together poorly or it's a wrong order. For example, one morning on my way to work, I stopped to grab some breakfast. I absolutely cannot stand sausage, so I ordered bacon. I got all the way to work and guess what! There was nothing but a piece of sausage! This is rediculous! And something should be done about it! Why bother spending the money when everything there is so expensive to begin with, if I'm not getting what I want or how I want it?

Their might be new workers their if your orders are wrong but it this happen continuously that means that the cooks didn't use grill tickets; grill ticket are ticket that show special orders to the cook; and the person sending the order through drive through didn't care too look if it was right. so next time when you order something just take 10 seconds just too look inside the food if its right.
lousy expensive sandwidh
Saw the ad on tv for your new fish sandwich. A co-worker and I got one today at $3.69 each. It was lousy. Neither one of us will get it again and with Lent next week, you could have made some money. Another co-worker and her husband got it, too, and thought it was terrible. That's 4 people who will spend their lunch money during lent somewhere else.

Just got a fish sandwich in Everett Wa and it had a worm in it.
I just bought the fish sandwich and found something that looked like a worm in it! I highly recommend NOT to purchase this sandwich.
I just watched the fish sandwich commercial on TV. They never say the fish is good. They do say the fish is North Pacific Cod. They will only have it for a limited time.
Us too. My fiancee and I in Columbus and my Mother and father in Zanesville. Both were equally appalling. They had a tinny-metallic aftertaste that was sickening. Manger didn't care so we trashed em and went on.
Wow I can't believe $3.69 Is even worth writing a bad comment. I haven't had the sandwich and if I did and it sucked I throw it away. I suggest you order a salad.
playing favorites
I've worked at wendys for eight years and have had problems with managers not doing the reviews on time, paying other employees who know less and do less more than the ones who do and know more. I was told that i needed to work more i now work five days a week and still make less than other people. I am currently making close to minimum wage while every one else is making over that amount. My review for my raise was due August 10 of last year and i haven't gotten a review or a raise. I understand that this is a fast food place but that doesnt mean that employees should be treated like this. I strongly believe that people shoild be judged on their working abilities and not on wether they are the managers favorite. Please try to correct this matter. Eight years is a long time for this to go unchanged. Thank you for time.

terrible food and service
This has to be the worst Wendy's I have ever been too. The issues I have had with this location is not an isolated incident. The last 4 times I went to this location, I experianced VERY bad service and low quality food. Here is a list of things that has happened during my last few visits. 1. Incorrect food given, or some items forgotten a. When I...
Read full review of Wendy’sdirty and diseased as now my family and I are vomiting, diarrhea
We stopped at Wendy's Hammonton, NJ on our way home from visiting family on 2/7/08 at 8 p.m. The restaurant was dirty, trash overflowing, trash on floor. 30 hours later, everyone who ate there has been vomiting, diarrhea, cramps, fever and no one has eaten together since, we do not live in the same house. The only common event the entire week was eating that Wendy's in Hammonton. Complaints have been issued to Wendy's and Wendy's says "we are aware and address" Then why was it not already addressed if they were aware. Instead of doing something about their dirty employees who are making people sick.

Are you ###ing serious?
Earthworms?
###! I'm never eating another damn hambruger!
Wendy's Corp. is the largest importer of domestic grown earthworms, earthworms are FDA approved filler for beef products (i.e. soy bean, fat, etc). Next time you bite into a Wendy burger take a closer look at the odd looking oooze coming out of the holes... It's earthworm exoskeleton... mmmmmm enjoy
no receipt
i was at wendy's on 2/6/09 around 9:30pm. i order my food and got it
but they didn't give me the receipt so i asked cashier to give me my receipt but she told me there's receipt printer is broke so she couldn't give it to me. But i told her i need receipt and cashier got piss up so i told her to write it down for me if you don't have your receipt. So she did but only for total of $8.34 on blank sheet of paper. no description of what i bought. i think it is my right to have receipt when i buy something but cashier make me feel like im ask too much and cashier didn't even apologize to me...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
While any person has the right to know what they paid for, there was no reason for you to act the way you did. She gave you your total. All you needed to do was ask her to read back to you what she rung in. In my opinion, you really were asking for too much, especially if the store was getting ready to close. The printer was broken, and it's out of an average employee's control at that point. You really didn't deserve an apology for something she already explained to you just because you feel inconvenienced by a broken printer and not receiving an in-hand receipt. Just a complaint for nothing.
When the receipt printer is broken, it's broken. Unless you had reason to doubt that she rang in your order wrong, or were on the clock for work, it wasn't very necessary to take time out of her (closing!) work schedule to write a complete list of what you purchased, as a total would have sufficed, particularly if there was anyone in line after you, in which case you were holding up them as well.
raw chicken
Last night my fiancee and I went to Wendy's for some (not so fast) fast food. We both ordered Spicy Chicken sandwiches. Unfortunately, about a quarter of the way into my sandwich I noticed an odd texture in my mouth and realized I was eating RAW chicken. I immediately spit the chicken out and looked through my sandwich to find that almost the entire chicken patty was COMPLETELY RAW. I'm on the lookout now for salmonella symptoms, and I pray to God I don't get sick. I've already had stomach cramps and a headache, but I'm hoping these issues are unrelated.
I called the Wendy's corporate office to complain because I'm pretty sure their chicken patties are delivered to the stores pre-cooked (or so they say). I left a message, so we'll see if anyone ever calls me back.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I was also served a raw chicken sandwich from the Wendy's in Woburn Ma. It was late and dark so I didn't realize until a couple bites in, when I couldn't bite theought the sandwich because it was raw. Of course no one answered at the restaurant and their customer service isn't open. Hope I don't get sick!
Hello, my name is Taquelous Cseh and im filing a complaint about my wrongful termination on monday august the tenth. Me and manager Crystal Walters had a disagreement and words were exchanged also name calling.I felt that my side of the story was just as important as Crystal Walters but General Manager Paul Niggeman Didn't take time out to hear my side and he terminated me without documentation. The documentation was written after the fact not while the disagreeing was going on, and i felt that i was wrongfully terminated. I have worked for wendys for two years and 6 months maybe one written statement in my file, i hardly got into trouble and i have had three raises since i've been employed there. I have hired an attourney that said my case is well worth it and would love to represent me and of course something could be done. All i want is my job back at the wendys on memorial, but if i can't receive it then i will have stick with filing my unemployment. I'd very much rather have my job back at memorial. I would like to thank wendys for giving me the time to explain my situation since i couldn't do it at my jobs onsight like i was suppose to. I hate to take it this far but when one person isn't doing there job, you have to go a step higher until you seek justice. Thanks Taquelous Cseh
The same thing happened to us last night. When we called corporate they hung up on us the first time and said since we had a rude tone in our voice they would not help us. We took the sandwhich back to the store and had the same result. Because we were upset they refused to help us. The manager walked away and refused to give us a refund or new food. My boyfriend asked for the owner's information but they just ignored him. He went back in again and this time recorded the whole thing. We actually have it a Wend'y employee on film saying he should have ate the sandwhich and died. I intend on posting this video and will never buy anything from them again. They had nerve to call the police because he wouldn't leve until someone helped him. The police didn't do anything to him. They said they would get him his money back but he said that's okay because it has gone beyond that. All I can say is what if a kid or elderly person ate that sandwhich and died. I according to Wendy's it would have been the customer's fault. All I can say is I hope I don't get sick or die from eating their raw food. Although if I do, it will apparently be my own fault.
everything
Service was slow and grudging. Tthe 'single' burger was dry, with grease visibly congealed. Fries were inedible, the grease, no longer oil, was nasty. My husband had to wait 5 minutes while they figured out that he didn't have his sandwich. The counters, floors, tables and seats were not clean, and had I seen this, we'd have left before ordering.

often enough it is not the businesses job to contact family after an accident. It is the police, hospital, emergency services.
I cant say it is right but unfourtunatley the law works on the employers side rather than the employee. However if you can prove that overworking your husband is what caused the incident and he has a medical note on file then you may have a lawsuit on your hands. I would definately make an appt with a personal injury atty.
