Randall Brown is the manager at this store 12121 in Elk City, Oklahoma 73644. He does not need to be the manager here! This company has a company of pot smokers here. If you want to join the people who are okay with this. which leads to unclean, lazy, steal food, eat when they are hungry, ex after smoking weed. Not following the handbook. Why have a hand book if the managers are not going to follow the rules. I worked here and I have not received my pay check. I went to tell the manager and he said its my fault for this. Why do you have a title of manager.
Desired outcome: I want my pay check and pay for having to be in this environment around fake people. Randall Brown needs to be fired along with everyone that is management at this location. The owner needs to be told how this store is being ran.
The Employment Security Commission should handle the pay check issue, assuming that Wendy's has complied with the requirements. Can you prove you worked there and the hours?
They won't pay for the environment or fake people. You might have some recourse for a dangerous work environment. Second hand smoke, employees operating dangerous machinery while intoxicated, or something along those lines. In most cases, marijuana is frowned on because it can make one careless, leading to accidents. Smoking cigarettes is banned, so why not marijuana? Even vaping is coming under fire.
Is marijuana legal there? This may be criminal. Talking to the police might be one way to curb the problem. Though you would likely to fired and be seen as a snitch.
Policy manuals are mostly for show. Few companies follow them. They are used more of a way to curb lawsuits and terminate employees than anything. In this case, the drug testing is a problem. Many companies have rules about drug use, terminate for positive tests, and so on. Things are changing, but if the company still holds to the 'drugs are bad' view, they will need to do something at this facility. Video of the situation would be helpful.
