Covid-19 flyclear pcr testing
July 28th I booked a flight, paid for a PCR test, and requested an appointment with Shoppers drugmart at Westgate shopping centre. I received an email informing me I would be contacted for a screening and to book the test. My flight is Aug 10th, meaning the test needs to be taken ether aug 7th or 8th to fit the appropriate window. It is now Aug 5th and I...

I received a gift card with the receipt attached. The gift card does not work! Shoppers won't honor the card (for HomeSense). I went through Shoppers process of submitting pictures of the gift card and receipt and after 3 weeks they send an email stating, they can't do anything but try contacting HomeSense. They provided no information for contacting...

I am not one to complain about things, but I have had enough of this pharmacy. When I received government help with costs they hardly ever delivered, without me constantly calling. Now that I pay for my scripts they text and text again and then when I contact to arrange to come in and pick-up they will call multiple times wanting to deliver asking for cash...
Read full complaintCovid vaccine booking
On the afternoon of July 15th 2021 I called my local shoppers drug mart +[protected]. With my 15 year old transgender son and my father sitting next to me. I wanted to book a second dose vaccine for my kid (age 15). I had thought that walk-ins were accepted however, the lady on the phone said that they have to go by appointment due to the number of vaccine available. The lady told me the next available would be Friday July 23rd 2021. The time scheduled was 2:30pm est. The lady took my child's name, preferred name and my contact information. At the time of the appointment we walked in to the store and told the pharmacist that my son was here for their short. Not only did the store not have the right vaccine but, we were told that because no one wrote the name down on a piece of paper that we did not contact the store. So the fact that I have call history supporting it, 2 witnesses and who knows what other proof that I contacted them, I am a lier? Does shoppers drug mart have an issue serving transgender people? What if we would have contacted a virus while making a now unnecessary trip?
I recently transferred all dealings I had with this pharmacy to a different store called pharmasave. Did you know that they apologize for mistakes? Crazy right?
I want nothing from you other than for you to do better with this store. If I ever consider returning to that location. I want to be treated like a human being.

Deceptive marketing practice
This Saturday morning July 24, 2021 at about 11am, I went to Shoppers at 5671 Steeles Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1V 5P6 to buy eggs which they are having on sale for two days: Saturday and Sunday. As expected they were out of stock, as is ALWAYS the case. I spoke to the (woman) manager and she told me to "try tomorrow". This is the standard situation at all Shoppers in the area that I'm familiar with; they advertise a 2 day sale for the weekend, put out a few dozen eggs on the shelf on Sat. morning, which will be gone in a few minutes after the store opens and an unsuspecting customer is pissed off because of his/her wasted time. Apparently this deceptive business practice is ok in Ontario where I live but not in Québec. (I've sent an email to Competition Bureau Canada to find out if this falls under False or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices in the Competition Act).
Special offers of bonus optimum points
Visited a SDM in Pickering, Ontario on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Bought two bottles of Crest Mouthwash and noticed a small notice on the sale price card attached to the shelf. Seemed to say "Spend $50 and get 10, 000 Optimum points". Wow! Hard to believe because the print was very small and it was about thigh level. I'm 92, therefore my eyesight sometimes deceives me. Asked a fellow customer nearby if he would mind checking the sign for me. He agreed with me on the wording. I definitely bought more than $50 in items at the store and while checking out asked the cashier to check that I got my 10, 000 points. She said it wasn't coming up on the receipt. She asked someone with more authority about it. That lady went to check the mouthwash aisle, and came back with the news I had to buy $50 of mouthwash to get those points. By this time, we all had a good laugh.
To obtain my 10, 000 points I had to buy... wait for it...$50 worth of mouthwash. I could hardly wait to get home to spread the word with my family and friends about this very ludicrous offer from SDM. It sure gave me my laugh for the day.
I don't expect anything to be resolved because if that's the way it is, that's the way it is. But might I suggest whenever you have a gigantic offer like this, you print your sign much, much bigger and put it at eye level so that most of us can properly read it and thoroughly explain the offer.
When I think I've seen it all... something else will turn up to make me give my head a shake.
Hope my explanation of this my story abides by all the rules.

Hello,
I just came out of Shoppers brach in Mississauga in Grand Park. I have been using this branch for five years, never felt so uncomfortable like today. One of the staff asked me if I need anything, and after that, more than one staff were following me until I reached the self check making themselves organizing the plastic bags, which was ridiculous.
I will never use shoppers again; I cannot put myself or my family in such a situation.
Pill count on scripts
This is not a complaint suggesting the druggist purposely short-shipped me on 2 scripts.
The attached photos show the same size container for both pickups.
When I got the first one with a 270 count on the label, the container was packed full to the top. I came home and did a count and found it about 35 pills short. In other words the true count could never fit in that container.
When I brought it back and showed the druggist the shortfall, I had no trouble getting the remaining ones.
Because of that episode, when I got the 144 pickup yesterday, I counted them and there were only 130 pills. There was plenty of room for the missing 14 to fit in. I reported it and was invited to come back today to get the missing 14.
I asked what the process was to count pills and she said it was done by a machine.
Well, it doesn't work!
Desired outcome: Review and examine the machines that do the counting. Notify your pharmacists that your reputation could be tained badly if the public was aware of the faulty counting machines.
Availability of sale items.
In your flyer ending on June 10 you advertised an ASUS Chromebook for $229.00 of $89.00 if you spent 100, 000 points. When I went to my local Shoppers in Kemptville they did not have the item. I checked with 6 other stores in the area of none available. In these COVID times a deal like that is rare. I fail to see the reason why you would advertise an item and none available. I am sure that this complaint will not be read but I would appreciate an a response to this concern.
Desired outcome: Would like to know if it will be available.
Poor customer service.
Got a wrong lotion, did not read the ingredients so when used caused me an severe allergic reaction went to the store for an exchange with the receipt the next day however the cashier refused to exchange the item or return it and claimed that it has been open, lotion doesn't come in any package, also is open when in store as well so her claim was. Incidence: The pharmacist refused to fill levothyroxin prescription claiming that the prescription was expired. she said it was since 2020 and did not listen to us or provide explanation for why she refused to fill the prescription . she hanged the line and was extremely rude over the phone. she said i am the owner of the drug store and i am not filling the prescription and hanged the line.
My husband went to the pharmacy to talk to her and asked her why did you hang the line she said the pharmacy was busy while there was no one standing in the pharmacy.
all what we wanted is an extension for few days till I see the specialist.
I am extremely compliant on my medication, i travelled back home outside Canada for family reason where i continued taking the medication over there. and just arrived two weeks back, was quarantined and now i am out of medication.
she can extend the prescription if she wanted but she was arrogantly enough to not even offer us an explanation.
we were never been angry patients and we respect the HCP io hope she do so. her way in not acceptable nor understanble.

Pharmacy
What happens when the pharmacist doesn't put through your prescription on a Friday and obviously no Dr. Office is open on the weekends? Let me tell you, you purposely put your customers through withdrawal, when being prescribed pain medication for long term chronic pain. That medicine is essential for patients and when your "mistake" causes such pain...

Slow check out
The Shoppers Drug Stores in Orillia, Ontario do not have enough cashiers. Usually they have one cashier working and self checkout. Normally there are 4-5 people waiting for the cashier and choose not to use self checkout. Before self checkouts were installed, the cashier would call another cashier to open a second lane. With the self checkout system they...

Hi I am complaining to you in regards to your sdm on mccarthy rd in ottawa.
I ordered a refill of two prescriptions. One of them had to renewed by the doctor and a fax was sent. I went this morning to pick up my order and was faced with a very rude person at the pharmacy counter. I was told that the refill in question was not filled because it was not ordered. So I was told to come back in 1 hour and he would have it ready then.
Does it not stand to reason that if a person ordered the renewal that it would be needed to be filled.
This store has major problems in filling out the renewals on time. I have encountered this problem so many times in the last year. Something needs to be done about this store. It is very fustrating when you have to go back a second time because they are not fulling there duties
Shopping cart pick up required.
Please pick up your shopping cart from Morison Avenue close to apartment building 363 Morison Avenue, Parksville British Columbia. This spot seems to be a spot that continues to have your store's shopping carts left in front of. There is no one seen with the shopping cart, and no one is attending pick up. Please be aware of this inconvenient nuisance. Thank you.

Myself and my Nurse Practitioner colleagues on Vancouver Island in British Columbia often contact Shoppers Drug Mart with prescription requests. The phone tree offers the choice; "If you are calling from a Physician's office, press 2". Would it be possible to make a small change to; "If you are calling from a Physician or Nurse Practitioner's office, press 2"?
Thanks kindly for consideration of this request.
