On or about June 21, I stopped and got my daughter a Happy Meal from Mcdonald on Skibo/Morganton in Fayetteville, NC. After driving for a few minutes. I told my child to give me the milk so I can open it. She had already drunk the majority of the milk. I asked how did she open it, she said it was open. I then stopped to check and there was not a seal on the milk at all. I said a prayer over her and waited to see if anything happened. By 1 or 2 am she was vomitting everywhere, consistently. I took her to the doctor, who agree that she had been food poisoned. I contacted Mcdonald and was told the manager was in a meeting and then hung up on. I went to the store. I talked to a supervisor who seemed like the only person to care. She went to get the manager and was sent out with a number to give me. I told her that was not good enough and I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager finally came out and I realized when I pulled up, the manager was standing outside laughing and giggling with a person outside. She didn't want to tell me who the owner was or be helpful. I finally got a phone number out of her to corporate. I proceeded to call corporate and was basically ignored for a two weeks after speaking to Jorge who seem all too concerned. NOT. on July 27th after sending my daughter doctor papers 2 wks prior, I was offered free food for my inconveniences at any McDonalds in North Carolina. What kind of compensation is this? Who's going to compensate me for my daughters pain and suffering, for my doctor visit, for the daycare time that I still had to pay for even though my child was home sick, for the time I took off work due to this situation, and for the rude service from the majority of McDonalds workers. If I had went in that store and was treated like I was someone, then I would have settled for some coupons and reimbursement of doctor bills. McDonald's need to work on their people skills. Have anyone else been food poisoned by mcDonalds and treated like it was nothing?

This is not a compaint...
I've been going to McDonalds drive thru in Kirkland Lake every morning between 7:30 & 8:00 for the last little while for my coffee. Today i need to give credit where credit is due. Whom ever worked the drive thru today (May 3, 2011) I need to acknowledge! What great service. She works most mornings when i drive thru and must say that she's starts off my day right! She actually cares about her customers, she has such beautiful attitude and goes above and beyond! I think her customer service skills are to perfection and deserves to be recognized for that!

I went to McDonalds on January 31, 2008 and purchased the chicken selects and an order of fries. The French fries contained a substance that caused severe abdominal pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, extreme fatigue, comatose sleep. I believe i have acquired a bacterial infection because of it. I've been experiencing extreme pain. This is not the first occurrence with this company. There seems to be either a toxic substance in the salt thats placed on the fries or the oil in which the fries are being cooked.

This message is from the Mcdonalds CREW Employees... we need to know why we don't get enough hours?... there is 3 managers that do our schedules... there is a lot of kids that go to school and need to save for college. Other kids like ME don't have fathers... but need to help our mothers... there is a assistant manager that swears at us and call us ###s and dum ### mother f**kers and his name is SHAUN... after this message we do not want the store manager or anyone else to threaten us about who wrote this... if we do... we are still going to complain... we only want one manager to do our schedule not all of them... in that store the assistant manager only depend on people that kiss A*S.

I visit the McDonalds in Pittsburg, Ca on Bailey Road frequently. Each and every time I have ordered the Asian Chicken Salad they never put the almonds in the bag until I check and ask them where they are. Two times the staff did not know what I was talking about because they didn't know English. The drive through has a window that is suppose to display the confirmed order & price. It does not display either. The staff, in other locations, tells you the total before reaching the collection window. This did not happen. The price varies from $4.83 to $5.19... go figure. Today was $5.19. There was mostly iceberg lettuce (over 80%) which has not been usual for this salad. There were no bell peppers and the sliced carrots were two pieces the size of a nickel and thinner than siran wrap! The chunks of iceberg lettuce where so big that they resembled 1/4 to 1/8 of the whole head of lettuce (again unusual for this salad). Had I not visited other locations as well and found them consistently the same, I would have nothing to compare this to. Whoever cares about this location should make an effort to correct some of these issues!

I was standing in line at a McDonald's located inside a Wal-Mart on Thursday 1 January 09 to pay for a cinnamon pretzel. After I paid, I moved over to the side to wait. I then noticed a young hispanic male employee eating chicken nuggets in front of me so I was really hoping he was not going to be the one making my pretzel. After eating the 2 nuggets, he then begin to dig in his ear. He of course was the employee who would be making my pretzel. Without washing his hands, he placed the pretzel in the microwave and took it out of the microwave with his bare hands tossing it up in the air suggesting to me it was very hot coming out of the microwave. After sprinkling the butter and the cinnamon on it he gave it to the manager to give to me. I immediately told her I was not eating that pretzel after "he" was found eating nuggets and digging in his right ear. She (the manager) said something to him in Spansih that caused him to walk over to the hamburger counter and begin making another customer's hamburger. That customer heard me complain and refused to accept his order as well. Then and only then did the female manager say something in Spanish again that caused the employee to eventually wash his hands.
I will be filing a complaint to the local health department as well as the corporate office.

I had gone to eat at Mcdonalds in Parkmore Shopping Mall, Johannesburg, South Africa and waited 30 mins for my order by which I had laid a complaint with the staff for taking so long, I was told "if you dont want to wait then f*ck off" of which I replied I would complain to head office, I was ignored. After 45 mins of waiting I complained again and was told "If you dont like it here then leave" I replied yet again to see the manager and was told that the manager refuses to see me, either I wait or leave. I left horribly disgusted with the situation and I was not the only one, everybody had a bad taste with their non existing service but they just laugh it off, talk to each other and ignore the clients.

I ordered two big breakfast meals, sub with bacon, orange juice and one bacon egg cheese bagel through the drive through. When I got home there were hotcakes and potatoes missing. I called the store manager whose name is Donny or Donnie and he told me that it was policy not to give me what I claimed was missing. Then he claimed that the potatoes are not included with the meals after which he retracted and said that it does. Ive always choose to go to this location because this rarely happens here.

Sorry to say I was too upset to even go back and complain in person.

I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment. On numerous occasions i've witnesed MANAGERS violate health regulations, touching cash than directly preparing food. Maybe it's not public knowledge, but it is fact that there is more fecal matter and urine on money then on a public toilet. When I complained to the manager who violated the foodsafe policies, she replied by saying "we cook it it anyway" regarding putting hashbrowns in the fryer directly after touching cash. If you are going to cook it or not it's unexceptable. If you frying hamburgers is it okay you just through them on the floor first. People forget that they are serving the public. What you find exceptable at your home is fine. but don't expect the everyone else to have be subjected to your low standards. In addition, there is horrible customer service, it seems employees social lives are more important then serving the customers. Again don't eat here, if you want a burger go to splitz, at least they care about the health and safety of their customers.

I have been a regular patron of macdonalds cafe since it has opened here in broken hill love the coffee. Yesterday morning at 8.04am my husband had called into the restaurant to buy a coffee & croissant, placed his order waited for 25 mins but didn't receive his coffee & croissant. Then at 12.25pm me and my husband made our way over to the plaza and called in to macdonalds for a coffee, i placed my order got given a number and waited outside for our coffees to arrive 20mins later one of the workers had come outside to give someone else there order by the way come much later than us when we asked where our coffees where the young girl snapped and said that the order had already been taken out, so i asked for my money back and proceeded on my way to go shopping. NOT VERY HAPPY I MIGHT ADD.

6/14/08 - McDonalds

On their Menu Board they list their Bac, Egg & Ch Biscuit for $2.79. Upon looking at the reciept - they charged $2.99. When I questioned it - they quickly handed me .20 cents . . . . like they knew . . . .

They kept the .02 cents "Eat In Tax" they charged me on the overcharge though . . . .

McDonalds didn't used to give you a receipt . . . . .

I wonder how many others overpaid . . . .

I was out at the local shoppes when I developed an appetite. I was more thirsty than I was hungry as I recall, but still could go for a little bite. I Ordered 2 burgers and a medium diet cola beverage. I was confused and bewildered (I am elderly) when they handed me an empty cup, but I guess these lazy whipper-snappers decided it would be cheaper and easier to make you get your own drink. I think it was some smiley faced brown-haired white-face

So that's my thanks for fighting in 2 wars. Getting my own damned drink. Well, I had originally wanted a diet cola beverage but then I saw to my surprise that iced tea was an option. I poured it with spite and took down the bitter brew. I spewed it out that instant, a cone shaped spray actually, it tasted like floor. I smelled the cup, and it smelt like mop water

I talked to "Peppe" or some strange person, they claimed it was fresh and good. I told him to smell it and he vomit wildly, in a cone shaped spray directly into the frialator.

Over a week ago I went in and placed an order for a Grilled chicken sandwich and two double burgers and an order of fries. It wasn't that busy- 8 people in back and two working take out--and one working the counter and also filling his own orders.
I got my order after about 10 to 15 minutes. After getting home I find out that instead of a grilled chicken the chicken was covered in a soggy cold breading that I think was fried some time earlier in the day. The two hamburgs were also cold and the fries--half were cold and over cooked, the other half weren't salted and they weren't cooked to the golden brown that is their reputation and were cold on the inside. I tried to call the store 3 times to talk to the manager, but NO ONE answered the phone...
I left a complaint on the McDonald's web sight. After 11 days I get a phone call from another area store apologizing for my experience. There was no reason given why the store that was involved didn't call-- no manager or franchise owner response. If this is the "tip of the iceberg" on the control McDonald's has over their name, I will take my business to Burger King --I will do no business with any McDonald's until I get "satisfaction" for this gross and intentional disregard for the customers importance!

I''ve had pneumonia twice recently and the only thing that has sounded good to me is your vanilla shakes. I can't really afford them as I'm on disability but I buy at least 4 large a week. At least twice a week the last couple months they have either, run out of ice cream, forgot to turn the machine on, or were cleaning it. The store is the one on Fleur Dr, in Des Moines, IA. I called in to complain about this matter thinking for sure II would hear something as I can't imagine the revenue you are losing on those days. However, it's very inconvenient for a faithful customer. What I find more insulting is no one contacting to even say they were sorry for my issues.

Also, when I went in the other day they had the french fry machine out from the wall. The amount of congealed grease on the side of machine and the mess under it was very disturbing to see.

For someone who only receives $15.00 on food stamps a month, I would at least hope you could send some kind of coupon/s for this problem. Please at least show you care a little and respond. Janet Crawford (jcrawf2@aol.com)

Used Drive In at Kassel Druseltal str.Macdonallds, asked for a small Menu, 6 Chicken Nuggets, Sauce, French Fries, and small Coke.
When collecting wanted to chare for Large Size Menu, . I stated had ordered small, very unpleasant Woman said that could not b e done, I insisted it could. When I got it there was no sauce, and no mayonaise as ordered, as I found this out I had already left the area. and could not return.

I feel completely cheated by the Lies said to me by the Woman at the check out. It is my intention to write an article for the local free newspaper
on Macdonalds non service and theft.

I asked for a coke and I got it. The only problem was that the employee wiped her nose with her palm and then placed it on the lid and handed it to me. I didn't say anything but still, that is disgusting.

I took my kids through the drive through McDonalds on the western ring rd for lunch, while i was waiting for my order i notice every child working had their hair all over their face and not tied back. The manager herself was a child and as she was standing over the chips she was scratching her head and then fixed her hair.If this was not enough, a boy walks past shaking the broom used to pix up things off the floor. All this was happening where the food is being prepared.I was given my food, they could not tell me whitch of the drinks were diet. when i asked i was told to try them all because she could not remember. As i drove off i stoped and through my whole meal in the rubbish bin. I then took my kids to KFC on Ballarat rd, deer park. I would hope this would be looked in to.

I have been to the McDonalds on E State and Jefferson in rockford, 2 days in a row and I have had to take my buisness to Burger King because they said they didn't have breakfast still. The time I was there was 10:20 and breakfast is suppose to be served until 10:30. I prefer McDonalds breakfast but I can't seem to get it if I'm there at 10:20. Burger King DOES serve breakfast until 10:30. Thanks for taking the time to read my E-mail. Please take care of this matter.

The manager's name is HENRY, and he is unfair to the workers there. He gives people who he likes days off when unrequested and the people who request it don't get the day off he says you either work that day or your fired. He doesn't know how to run a buisness either because when customers have complaint or questions he makes one of the cashiers answer because he doesn't understand most of the time, i know this because i used to work for him and i quit because with out asking me or what i thought he said that i had to work every night from 3-11pm and when i told him that i can't that not my availability he said " i don't care" in spanish and walked away from me so i quit on him. He's only been there for one year and he's not ready to be a manager and through the cause of this he's losing lots of loyal customers and worse, buisness.

I used to work at mcDonalds of Georgetown and i used to have to beg for my break time. the air conditioner was always broke and South Carolina has really humid areas. Even whe i did take a break for 30 minutes, they'd make me clock out, which is against the law because i should have been able to take paid thirty minute breaks. the head manager, always acts like she has a stick up her rear end and is unbearably rude. i hated working there. they never keep employees because of their horrible managment practices. Once, there was a seawge problem, and everytime someone flushed in the women's toilet, feces and urine would come up through the drain behind the front counter. they made us walk through it and continue to take orders. they said that they "couldn't put a sign on the door." That was the most horrible job ever, and I don't eat anything from McDonalds anymore.

My wife a I just ordered take out from McDonalds on Del Prado in Cape Coral, store #6247. We asked that they put mayo instead of ranch at the order board and all seemed fine. As we pulled up to the first window, the cashier told us that the snack wrap doesn't come with mayo so we said fine and to leave it dry, no ranch or anything. when we arrived home my wife bit into a large wad of ranch. Both of her snack wraps had been filled with ranch. What is your employment requirments at McDonalds, the abbility to flip a buger? We have had issues with this store before, but this is totally and absolutly illresponsible.

I bought McDonald's for my kids & I last night. My daughter had a McDouble, a medium fry, a Coke & a M&M McFlurry. At 12 midnight, she vomited in her room, ran to the toilet, had diarrhea, vomited some more & more diarrhea. Along with a headache, a sore throat, nausea, abdominal pain & loss of appetite. All day today I've been wondering what can it be! Then I thought about her last meal & her symptoms. I Googled 'food poisoning' and 'McDonald's' and wallah, I'm here! Should I take my daughter to the ER? She's 13 yrs old.

So about two months ago, my partner, two daughters (aged 1 and 2) and myself went to mcdonalds and had chicken mcnuggets, fries and strawberry milkshake. My 1 year old didnt have the milkshake. Few hours later me, my partner and 2 year old had vomitting, diarrhoea and general signs of food poisoning. I was forced to lose a days wages because i had to take a day off work. We had these symptoms for 48 hours. I emailed customer services and they sent £10 mcdonald vouchers! I emailed back saying i was disgusted as we had food poisoning from eating at mcdonalds. I received a reply today from emma mccracken (assistant customer services manager) justifying what happened and refusing to accept any responsibility. Apparently making a small child ill is ok with her. Anyone else had similar symptoms after eating at mcdonalds? She's almost accusing me of making it up!

One counter person addresses customers as "Hon'', ''Sweetie'', ''Darling''. I regard this as condescending and insulting. My opinion is that she should be warned against it and fired if she continue.

In the late 1970s, my family and I ate our meal from an Oakville, ON McDonald's. We had errands to take care of, and we agreed to eat out before I headed out to Brownies that night. Well, about six to eight hour later, I woke up with a nasty stomach ache, and before long I threw up.

I wasn't the only person in the house with that. problem. Both my parents were sick, my brother had diarrhea, and even my then-two year old sister was sick. We all stayed home from work or school for the rest of the week, but we were particularly concerned about the baby. Food poisoning is potentially deadly to very young kids and old people, and that innocent looking McDonald's cheeseburger could have killed her.

I still eat at McDonald's once a month, but prefer to buy my food at Carl's Jr, Big Smoke, Hero and other quasi-fast food places. Still, I prefer to make my own food. At least, I know what's in it.

Wow reading all of this makes me upset and fustrated. My 5 yr. Old ate the nuggets at McDonald's and got samonella poisoning and spent 3 days in the ER. He just got home and now I'm wondering who I should complain to but with reading everything above it may not even be worth it. I will still complain to the resturant, corporate, FDA/ BBB but don't expect anything to happen now. My best bet is to tell as many people as I can to not eat there after what happened to him. I wish the best for everyone that went through this sick or helping the sick. GOD BLESS.

I visited the new ihop in yukon ok. this morning to see how it was.
I found the menu confusing and hard to read.
I was looking for my favorite eggs, bacon and hash browns and had to settle for (2) pancakesd, '(2) strips of bacon and hot tea as I never found the other.
everything ok, and I mean "just ok" so far.
I finished and ask for the bill.I was prensented a bill for $9.25!
I dont know who if anyone will be reading this but I bet that bill will sound rediculous even to them!
I ask for a menu to see if that was even possible.I only had to look at the very first item under pancakes to get peeved. Two or three meat sides and all this other stuff and $2.00 less expensive than my (2) pancake Rip off!
You dont have to worry about my business again, but you might want to coach your help on alittle more consoling response than "sorry"!

I finally received a call back from someone by the name Diane from McDonald head office in Canada. She started off being very apologetic about our terrible food incidents that we recently encountered with from one of the McDonald restaurants last week. Also, stating that McDonald take all unhappy food experiences or food incident cases very seriously. Unfortunately, to her finding that there were no other "salmonella" food poisoning cases being reported at that particular restaurant, therefore she can't do nothing for me. I was shocked by her response. I told Diane we were seen my a walk-in-clinic physician and the doctor has ruled out that what my daughter and I were experiencing was a high possibly of "food poisoning" known as salmonella from the mcnuggets and mcchicken sandwich we ate from McDonald's. She took our stool samples and we are still waiting for the results back. Diane continued to ignore what my concerns were. She said that perhaps what we were experiencing could be a "stomach flu" outbreak that is going around. I reassured Diane that what my daughter and I experienced weren't a stomach flu and the doctor wouldn't have taken our stool samples for testing if she thought we had the "stomach flu". Again, Diane is oblivious to my reasonings and continue to say there's nothing she can do for us as a "corporate" stand point. You got to be joking? Both my daughter's life and mine are 'WORTH' that little to address our "pain and suffering" we went through these past 6 days as not meeting the corporate stand point.? What we are still alive so, therefore our case aren't that important and get toss aside like the rest of other food poisoning cases that numerous unhappy consumers encountered and reported national wide? What does it take to have this senseless, uncompassionate, and unprofessional billionaire corporate to WAKE UP and take some accountabilities, responsibilities, and actions for their contaminated, mishandled food? How many more complaints, unhappy consumers, and possibly deaths to have "McDonald" corporate to do something about it? PLEASE WHOEVER IS READING my consumeraffairs blog, spread this message all around as far as it can go, to put a STOP to food poisoning from McDonald. Help saves our poor and vulnerable children, grandparents, dads, moms, aunts, businessmen, employees etc who go to these thousands of Mcdonald restaurants out there everywhere from consuming their "life threatening" fast food. If McDonald failed to stand behind their consumers and do the 'RIGHT THING, then at least we all can step up and do something for all mankind. JOIN ME to raise awareness globally to PUT A STOP to all contaminated food from McDonald Corporation. BRING AWARENESS = SAVE LIVES!

Both my daughter and I have food poisoning eating at McDonald's last Thursday from a mcchicken sandwich and my daughter had mcnuggets from the "happy meal". The next morning at 4 am my daughter had vomitted everywhere on the bed, on the floor, in the hallway, & in the bathroom. Her conditon got worsened she started having diaherra every 5 mins. I practically changed over 70 diapers in 4 days. I was sick myself with diaherra but no vomitting. My poor 2 1/2 yrs old daughter got the worst of us two. We were seen my a doctor and the doctor said we possibly have food poisoning "salmonella". I knew right away how we got salmonella food poisoning from those mcnuggets & mcchicken sandwich. I called mcdonald's head office in Canada to file a complaint. The rep took my a report and said the corporate Mgr. will call me back in 3-5 business days. Are you kidding me? My daughter's life and mine is worth so little that we have to wait for a 3-5 business days for a follow up call? I was very digusted and upset with that statement. I told the rep that someone from the corporate better call me back, otherwise it will not end here. I will go above and beyond to get this issue dealt with. Where is the human compassion and professionalism from a multi-million or billions corporate? NON WHATSOEVER! The scary truth is that this greedy corporate is only out for themselves to get richer by feeding their consumers with contaminated, unhealthy, and life threatening fast food. My daughter and I are lucky to be alive. What we are left with is the pain and suffering we went through the past 5 days which will always haunt us. Enough that my family and I will NEVER step foot in the MacDonald restaurant ever again!

I got food poisoning after my McDonald's meal in Springfield, VA (on Burke Lake Road) after I ate a triple cheese burger, large fries (with lots of ketchup, and iced tea. Afterward I had diarreah and vomiting - like continuously for two days afterward. I lost a significant amount of water and was sick, weak, had headache/muscle ache.

I agree -- unsanitary, indifferent illegal workers are to blame. I had wanted to give McDonalds my business as it is an American tradition, but the illegals ruin it for everyone with their crappy service, poor language skills, and inability to be santiary and make the food properly. I have never been so sick in my life -- and will never again give McDonalds my business.

My wife and I both got food poisoning from eating McDonald's cheeseburgers for dinner in Corona, California(Serfas Club location) . Starting getting sick, both of us had vomiting and diarrhea within hours of eating them. Missed work the next day. Never want to experience that again. They didn't do a damn thing about it either. Just shrugged their shoulders and said oh well like they didn't believe us. Haven't had a McDonald's cheeseburger again. That was 10 years ago.

I had a quarter pounder burger just on Monday night from a McDonald's in Hatfield, Pretoria, SA. Tuesday morning I woke up with crazy diarrhea and was vomiting. I spent the whole day in bed, luckily my fiance was there to help me. I was too weak to walk, I couldn't eat, was dizzy and my tummy was and still feels funny.

I know I'm never eating there again, I just can't trust them anymore. And I will continue to tell people what a McDonald's burger did to me!

I ate a premium grilled chicken sandwich about 8pm last night, nothing else all day. So I have no doubt it was the sandwich. I kind of thought this chicken tastes really blah, kinda different then normal. I thought maybe it was because I had gotten the friend chicken before and all of a sudden it just tasted better then this grilled. So I ate 2/3s of it and gave the rest to my two dogs. I started feeling sick to my stomach around 10pm at the latest and it progressed worse and worse with bloating, passing gas horrible, then then finally diarehha constantly since then. I have fluids going in and I hate to go to the ER or DOCTOR so much I am refusing to go at this point. But then I think I should so at least they have a record of me getting sick and if its chicken it can be salmonella and that is not good. so right now at 830am, 12 hrs later I am a bit confused as to what I should do. I want to sleep so bad but my stomach just keeps swelling up and hurting, and more diarrhea. Folks up top, I believe YOU, and feel for you and with the amount of food, slaphazzard at that which McDonalds gives out of course they are always going to give out food poisoning just like they do. I hate when we eat there but the grandson loves those damn chicken nuggets. RAWRRRRR...but I think now I am putting my foot down. The first sign is that the food is NEVER HOT. Seriously has anyone gotten their food HOT going to McDonalds>? Not me. But when I get a burger from some other local non corporate or franchise joint, I get nice hot and good hamburgers.
