McDonaldsdouble charged on debit card purcase

I was double charged on my debit card by the manager of the Casa View Shopping Center McDonald's in Dallas that I USED TO buy breakfast from several times per week. The amount of the overcharge was 8.53. Unfortunately, I didn't save my receipt. I still appealed
to McD's website to compalin about it . They told me, "no receipt, no refund." They would not even consider looking at my bank statement that showed the double billing, and also the factual evidence that I USED TO buy breakfast there several times per week. Based on other complaints I've read about McD's that are similar to mine with regards to double billing credit/debit card transactions, I believe that they are INTENTIONALLY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!! Think about it, - how often do you save your fast food receipts in an effort to make sure you're not double billed???? I won't go back, but McDonalds doesn't give a sh** anyway, so I guess I'll have to go about getting my $8.53 like this . Robert in Dallas
