worst birthday party
It was my daughter's 3rd birthday last January 16, 2012 when we decided to celebrate her birthday party in McDonald's Batangas (P. Burgos branch) last January 14, 2012. We are not really from there but since our relatives live there we decided to celebrate my daughter's party in that branch. We really like how McDonald's hold their parties here in manila but we were so surprised when we came to the venue there was no feeling of party, no tarpaulin posted to let our guests know that there is a party going on. The balloons are not yet set up. The crews are still fixing things and it was so hot. The party crews are NOT friendly and NOT accommodating. Actually, I even asked the male crew if the air-con is already on because it is was so hot but instead of answering me he just looked at me and left. Disgusting! The party was suppose to start at 11:30am until 12:20pm they are not yet starting and worst still fixing. All our guests are there but they have not yet started. What FREAKED ME OUT was when they tried to put mickey mouse and toy story back draft in front but not the one we are suppose to have which is PRINCESS and when i asked them where is the back draft they said it was being used in another party held in another branch at the same time of our daughter's party. Are they trying to tell me that my daughter's party is less important than the one held in the other branch? There was a pinata that was suppose to be hanging on the ceiling that the kids will pull but then again IT WAS NOT HANGED AND WORST IT WAS JUST ON THE HAND OF THE MALE CREW AND HE JUST PULLED THE STRING OPEN AND LET THE GOODIES FALL. TERRIBBLE!
I WAS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY DISSAPOINTED! They did not make my daughter's birthday a memorable one. Waste of money! Waste of time and effort!

made my child cry
I had a visit from my son last week. I get weekend visits and he is currently in foster care. My son got a coupon for free fries on Halloween. The coupon expired on December 31, 2011. I explained to them that this was my first time spending one one one with my son.(He is eight) and I could not use the coupon before hand. I was told that the coupon was expired and I could not use it. I told them to cancel the order and give me my money back. They did and I tore up the coupon and threw it on the counter. My son who saw me tear up the coupon asked why I tore up the counter. I told him that he was stupid if he did not see that the idiot behind the counter was not accepting it. Then he started to cry and I slapped him and left him in the restaurant. and went home I called up his social worker and told her that I could not handle my son and to pick him up and she said that I abandoned my son and that I no longer have unsupervised visits. My son and the idiot who would not accept my coupon told the social worker picked him up that I hit him and left him unattended in a public place abandoning him.. She has already called the police on me for leaving my son in the restaurant. Now come on we are talking about an eight year old not a three year old.
You losers need to learn the difference between child abuse and discipline. Besides it was Mcdonalds fault why I acted this way.

terrible customer treatment
I ordered 2 large mcflurrys and a junior chicken, went to the window to pay, the man gave me my junior chicken and one small mcflurry. i told him i ordered two large mcflurrys and you gave me one small. The man said you ordered small. I said i didnt ordered small and i ordered two mcflurrys. So i was paying for another one and he said, would you like a large. I told him, listen i ordered large in the first place and you gave me one small. I said heres the food give me back my money. He said something i couldnt hear, and gave me $20 dollars in loonies, i gave him a $20 bill. He placed the money in my hand so hard some of the change fell down.

Went to restaurant to purchase food the attitudes and the service of the employees were really bad. The workers were not in uniform except one guy.It was not like the service from days gone by and Ray Crock is probably turning over in his grave. The manager was walking around like she was afraid of the employees and could not delegate authority properly. Everyone in the lines waiting on service was talking about how bad the service was. The owner of this particular store should go in there or have someone to go in just to see what kind of service is being given at their establishment. And maybe get a whole new staff that would appreciate having a job in this type of economic situation that we're in.

I have no clue if mcdonalds served me poisonous tea or specs of crap floating around in it but this is truly DISGUSTING. Do NOT go to this mcdonalds if you want to be served any kind of decent food or beverage I just left there after being served tea with at least 50 specks of WHITE floating around in it-- some white unknown particles and it is disgusting and horrific. Usually this mcdonalds has the rudest dumbest people working there-- rude as hell. Lately it had gotten better, however when I went there today... when I went to get my drink, a very ugly fat geeky looknig [censored] abruptly opened the window in a rush SHOVED my drink at me and shut it fast...she was VERY rude and the way she first got the tea then did something I really was thinking---hmm i wonder if she did something to the tea. When I started to drink it--it tasted ok but something seemed off...I opened the container to see maybe a few weird white particles floating around in it...and thought...ok? I figured it was like one or two and thought it was in the ice or who knows what. However when I got home, I checked it again and noticed the entire TEA was full of these white particles-- I dont know what they are...but it either looked like chicken fat, or who the heck knows what. very bad food experience
I went into a McDonalds the other day with a coupon I received a while back for a free iced drink with the purchase of one. I ordered a buger and some fries as well. When I received the food, the fries were old, brown and crusty. Clearly several hours old. I asked them if I could have a new order and they were very rude to me. The employees were muttering things under their breath at me.
When i showed them the coupon for a free iced drink they said that the coupon was no longer valid. I told them that they must be mistaken as the coupon was only a couple of weeks old and had no expiration date on it. I know they did not want to give me the free drink because I asked them to make new fries. I realize this is McDonalds but the food should be at least edible. One thing should have nothing to do with the other. When I asked to see a manager the person told me he was not available and would not be in the rest of the day. I believe they were lieing as no one would have teenagers running a store with no adult supervision. They quickly asked me to stand to the side so they could help other customers. It was not even that crowded.
Several days later I went to another location and used the same coupon. I will never go back to this McDonalds again. Don’t be surprised if you produce sub par product and someone doesn’t want to pay for it. This is just common sense.
slow service
I run a daycare as I drove to your McDonald 4514 Telegraph avenue Sept. 9, 2011 with a van full of hungry children. The drive thru was closed. Yes, I undestand the truck has to unload and supply food however he/she should park else where. I sat 30min. Waiting and observing hoping it would open. I have 20 children which I wanted to feed while on our adventure to our field trip ages 1-5 I didnt want to take them out to much work just eat on the run. We do this on Friday’s.
As, I waited and began typing this on my laptop truck still there business was extremely be lost. At least 40 or more cars left. The lady next to me couldnt get out she was an older lady need an orange juice diabetic sugar low. I offered her a piece of candy and fruit I had. I couldnt go in for her I had the children which werent mind. I called several times to ask when will the drive in be opened no answer. So just a bit disapointed. THanks for your time I would love to receive and email back about what will take place next time if at all possible thank you very much.
On Thursday, June 19, 2008 I stood in line, after I had placed my order, for 25 minutes to wait for my 2 burritos, 3 hash bronws and an empty pop glass. My reciept states that I placed my order at 9:00 and I walked out of the store at 9:32. There were at least 5 orders waiting behind me. I find this unacceptable for a fast food restaurant.
Provided you have enough patience to wait for 30 minutes, I'm surprised that you are complaining. Any sane person would have simply gone somewhere else.
I understand not wanting to get all those kids out of the van, but if it were me, I wouldn't have sat there waiting for 30 mins. I would've left and went elsewhere.
They may have been understaffed. Sometimes many employees will not show up on a shift. It happened all the time when I worked there. However, you probably saw plenty of lazy employees in the back and front otherwise you wouldn't have filed this complaint. I used to be a grill manager at McDonalds and those store managers would hire the most idiotic and lazy kids in the world! I don't know how many times I've had to reel into an employee for leaning on the counters just talking or gossiping or whatever it was at the time. I was young but I understood the value of a dollar and most of these kids come in there not giving a damn about their jobs. It's just a place to socialize and fool around to them. They don't care whether or not they get fired. Then they're left wondering why they can't keep a job, or money, or get anywhere in life. It may be considered a low end job, but man, you've gotta start somewhere, and you gotta make money, so you have to do, your, job, well!

regarding my coffee i get every day, as i'm a diabetic i ask for splenda sweeteners not sugar your staff are blatantly lieing say they have put the sweeteners in only to get down the road to find they have put sugar instead of sweeteners or nothing at all after telling me yes we put them in for you, on coffee alone i spend $28.00 a wk

double charged on debit card purcase
I was double charged on my debit card by the manager of the Casa View Shopping Center McDonald's in Dallas that I USED TO buy breakfast from several times per week. The amount of the overcharge was 8.53. Unfortunately, I didn't save my receipt. I still appealed
to McD's website to compalin about it . They told me, "no receipt, no refund." They would not even consider looking at my bank statement that showed the double billing, and also the factual evidence that I USED TO buy breakfast there several times per week. Based on other complaints I've read about McD's that are similar to mine with regards to double billing credit/debit card transactions, I believe that they are INTENTIONALLY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! Think about it, - how often do you save your fast food receipts in an effort to make sure you're not double billed? I won't go back, but McDonalds doesn't give a sh** anyway, so I guess I'll have to go about getting my $8.53 like this . Robert in Dallas

Me and my wife is in Rome for a vacation we went to McDonalds. The guy on the counter was Italian and i asked him about a new burger promotion. He told me "no English only Italian" i asked him is there any one else who speaks English he said "no"
And now is is becoming very rude each time I order something he shout "STOP?!" meaning (did you finish?) then talking in Italian as if he is calling us names.
I asked for the manager - I found all the other cashiers speaks English - but the manager don't speak English! I told her, and she said one world "sorry" and went away. And all the guys at the counter started playing and laughing to show me that they don't care.

I'd understand if maybe you were in the airport or something, but if you're actually in Rome and you go to a McDonalds and expect someone to speak English, then you are the one at fault. When people come to the United States we expect them to speak our language. How can we not expect the same treatment when we travel abroad? When I lived in Argentina, I went to a McDonalds after class for a quick lunch and I ordered completely in Spanish and they didn't think anything of it. The normal cost of a large coffee and a muffin is $1.98. at this McDonald's, others are $1.95. You offer a small coffee special, which is free, and my large coffee at this McDonald's is now $2.06, the first time I was there was $1.75 (with special free small coffee). I asked why I paid $1.75 on Monday and Tuesday it is now $2.06 and I asked why I had to pay more for my coffee and muffin when there is a special, then normally. I was told it was there system, and too bad. I told them I would not pay more than the original price because they could not figure out how to work their system. They took the $1.98 that time, but it was a 10 minute argument with the manager in the drive through. The next day it was $2.06 again which I paid because the stupid manager did not try to find out why. Yesterday I went to McDonald's in Caledonia, 1 large coffee, 1 small coffee and 1 muffin $1.95. Why the difference?
The Employees don't set the prices, the company does...and different stores charge different amounts...if you've ever been to a grocery store you would know that...some are more some are less

My 7 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son entered from the West entrance to buy a frappe (to go) for each of them. They like the flavor and were excited to play the Monopoly game. I ordered a double cheese burger for me as I would probably be finishing off at least one of the beverages.
As we were exiting the airlock doors I noticed the cups did not have game pieces on them.
We returned to the counter (without ever actually stepping outside) to request our game pieces.
I said "We didn't get any Monopoly game tickets". The only response to my comment was, "Do you want to talk to the manager?". With that as his response I said "I sure do".
There was some loud verbal exchange coming from the back as whomever he went to inform did not seem to want to be bothered. The young man, though not well-trained as to how to respond to my initial request did insist that someone came with him to the counter.
I was confronted by an angry, dark-blondish woman in a light blue T-shirt who interrupted me as I tried to explain the situation. When I stopped her and told her to let me finish my explanation she was livid. It was more important to her that SHE be in control.
She smiled as she told me that she had no more game pieces on the cups. I asked her to give me some from another package if necessary, since we bought them especially for the game and they are supposed to be on the frappe cups.
I then asked for a refund. Which she refused, saying "They are already drinking them".
When asked for a number to inform upper management of the problem she laughed and said "Go ahead" but would not give me the number.

actually, they dont do game pieces on the cups anymore. the main reason for that is probably the dollar deal they have going for large drinks. people would be buying multiple drinks for a dollar for game pieces. they do the game pieces on the sandwhiches, such as big mac's and on the fries.

I Went to an Central Islip Macdonalds drive thru and ordered some food. When I drove up to the window I was surprised to see a tall manager with a tie, touching and hugging the girl employees.These girls could've been my own daughters. If only the parents knew about this touching in the back kitchen room. exploited and abused at workplace
I work overnites at footscray mdonalds. I always finish my work on time unless its not busy. This was a busy night and even a busy morning. It was 7am and my store manger came and asked me why havnt the work been finished? I told him it was really busy but he said i dont care about it, u have to finish ur work before 7. I stayed half an hour longer and finished my work. Then he tld me u have to stay back for 1 hour bcoz the next crew is coming late, i said i have to go to other work but he denied. I was tired and exhausted from working whole night and suddenly its get really busy and i asked for help in the kitchen but he denied and said u have to do it yourself. I was out of products and there was wait on burgers. I told the front crew there will be 1 min wait on burgers, My manager came in the kitchen and he started abusing me and exploiting me in front of other employees and the customers. He sweared at me loudly in his own language other than english. He sweared at my mom and sisters and threatened me of firing me from the job. I didnt say a word to him just keep on working, coz i thought if he fired me from work i will be unemployed but i am writing bcoz im emotionally hurt. I dont who should i talk to, what should i do? I think i lose my self respect and i wont be able to work there again.

@Slayergal I was actually predominately a cashier. I was never a manager at mcDonaldsI am in Australia, and we have a union that gives us regular payrises.
@Opals. You weren't a cashier or a preparer I'd gather though. I wasn't referring to managers or supervisors. Fry cooks and cashiers dont make 22 an hour.

Wrong orders rarely happen to me. And if they do, I've always caught them /before/ I've driven off. It's really not difficult to look into the bag before taking off.
Perhaps you just need to visit a different location.

Every school holidays the McDonalds Family Restaurant at Batemans Bay have some problem keeping customers happy. On Tuesday, 4 October at 12:20pm my family and I went to the restaurant to purchase some icecream sundaes only to be told, after lining up forever, that the "machine was closed for 2 hours due to maintenance"! there was no announcement made whilst the line (back to the door) was slowly creeping toward getting served. I think this is very poor service especially given it was a lunch hour AND in school holidays. Last school holidays we were there (January 2011) we waited 20minutes to be served and another 25minutes wait for our meal. We had visitors with us who were VERY unimpressed. I am starting to lose respect for our local restaurant and am not keen to return there given that I'll most like experience a third disaster.

Get over it. I think that they MAY HAVE been lying. When I worked at McDonalds, we could change the channel when we wanted. However, if a customer came to us with a request like yours, which I find ludicrous, we would probably do the same thing. We would change the channel for some reason; like if UFC was on or there was literally and obviously offensive material on.
How do you know who controls the channels for the tv? I didn't even know they had tv's in McDonalds? Just because you don't like something doesn't mean there aren't others who are interested. Let me guess, you'd rather they put CNN on, right?
