On Oct. 21, 2025, I sent a formal letter of complaint to the "Senior Director of Executive Customer Relations". The dispute arose when a district manager offered me recompense of $1,400 to atone for their failure to replace and install a defective storm door (project total of $4,848.51, paid in full).
Each call made to Lowe's is recorded and employee notes put in the consumer's "file". When the director called, I mentioned the $1,400 offer made; she immediately spouted "all former offers are null and void", (thus acknowledging the offer she was fully aware of). She then added,
"there's no record of such an offer". The woman called me a liar! There was ample proof of her own dishonesty. How's that for slam bang customer service, from the very top of the organization! This woman needs a visit to charm school.
I still want a full refund from these horrible people.
Desired outcome: Full refund of $4,848.51.
