Scheduling was easy. Two people cleaned 5 inside and 3 outside units in about 4 hours. Throughout that time they were professional, quiet and on task. I would highly recommend MAC Heating Pumps to anyone. We will definitely use their service again.

MAC Heat Pumps are great to deal with. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. Our sales rep spent a lot of time with us answering questions and explaining anything we wanted more information on. They have great follow up and annual maintenance. The heat pump itself is excellent.

During the cleaning of our three heat pumps it was found that one was unresponsive to the remote and the cover of another was broken. The repair of the unresponsive unit was scheduled in three days and the cover was replaced for free. Now THAT'S customer service. The tech doing the cleaning was fastidious in his attention to detail as well.

Since the first call through the install and follow-up, MAC is nothing but excellent. I scheduled my first 2 yr cleaning in February, but COVID slowed that down. When I called again to schedule it, no problems, and I even got my promised $10.00 discount. The tech was prompt, quiet, efficient, and wore a mask at all times. Nothing to cleanup after the service, and he tested the unit before he left to verify its operation. Use MAC heat pumps... Highly recommended!

Just had our heat pump cleaned. Sarah was the tech who came. She was very knowledgeable, personable and proficient. The customer service from this company is beyond top notch. From the initial consultation through our service today, we have been nothing but extremely happy with this company. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone (in fact I did, my sister!). MAC Heat Pumps is the best. First, it turns out a technician came to clean and I was out to lunch in both senses of the phrase and MAC Heat Pumps did not charge or reprimand me. Instead and on another date, they sent the most personable, efficient and considerate technician I have met to clean my two heat pumps. Her name is [Technician's Name] and she was on time, on budget and on top of everything. Very impressive staff and very consumer friendly business. [Technician's Name], you rock!

I really liked this technician. She showed up right on time and was very considerate about treating my home carefully. She was friendly and efficient. She left everything in very good shape and gave clear instructions for leaving the machine on for half an hour. I would give her a 5 star rating except that the service seems to be lacking an important company policy: COVID consideration. Please consider having your techs arrive with a mask on and then ask if the home owner would prefer for it to stay on.

This is a great company. They explained how the heat pumps work, how much they cost, where the installation would be best and gave me an estimate on the spot. Other companies did not do that. They arrived exactly on time for the installation, even though they were 2 hours away. They were very neat and respectful of my things and house and worked efficiently. I later called two times with questions that were answered directly and thoroughly. This year I scheduled maintenance and again, the technician arrived on time (even a little early and he called first to make sure that was okay), and was quick and efficient. I have nothing detrimental to say about this company - they are great!

We went with MAC Heat pumps years ago when we decided that it was time for a Heat pump. I sure am glad we did! It works just like they said it would. We are so happy with the way it heats in the winter and cools in the summer. Its been running flawlessly. We just had it professionally cleaned throughout by their technician. She was a real delight to have in our home. She was very professional and knowledgeable and happy with her work. My neighbors are getting their heat pump installed soon by MAC Heat pumps and I'm sure they will be very happy with their decision as well. I definitely recommended MAC to them and anybody else that would be interested. And by the way, I just received a phone call from them checking up and making sure everything was all good from the cleaning (2 weeks ago). Now that's some customer service right there!

I'm very pleased with MAC heat pumps. I've had them install two heat pumps, and they show up on time and get the job done. I might add that their prices are reasonable and they work with Efficiency Maine so that the rebate is substracted from the price I pay MAC, so that I don't have to wait for the rebate, which can take a couple of months. By the way, for those people in southern Maine, it seems that dealers in southern Maine are charging outrageously high prices (like double!) based on the experience of my friends down there. I don't know how far MAC will travel, but ask around about pricing.Re service, the techs from MAC have always showed up on time and been knowledgeable. I might add, since I do a radio show on energy topics, that when I've reached out to the owner, he has promptly replied to my questions. My only issue is that their annual service is a bit pricey, especially for two heat pumps. I would think that there might be a discount for two since they have to travel whether there is one or more.
