Lowe's Pella windows install

Windows were installed without any kind of drip rail, only caulk. Of course now about 2 1/2 years later they are leaking. Lowes only give a 1 year install warranty so we are stuck. There is no easy way to install this piece retroactively, very simple in install.

Lowe's Delivery and install of an LG washing machine

I paid to have an LG washer and dryer delivered and installed at my home. The store said I must purchase new connections for them to install which I did. The delivery occurred as planned but the installers showed up without the flex vent connection and the clamps for the dryer, said they were "out of stock" and they would have to use my old flex pipe and clamps, but they broke the old clamps when they removed the old dryer, so no clamps. They cut the drain hose clamp on the washer to get enough drain hose to reach the drain. First wash and the washer leaked water all over the laundry room floor. I have called Lowe's customer care twice, been to the store once, had a crew scheduled to arrive at my home to fix the issue, they never showed up and they never called. Now I have called Lowes "customer care" again and was told the store manager would call me within "48 business hours". Lowe's doesn't have customer care because they DON'T care about their customers. I will never make this mistake again!

Lowe's Washer and dryer

We went to Lowes a few weeks ago and after a 45 minute wait in line, we ordered a stackable washer and dryer. They had one piece in stock and had to order the other. We advised we wanted everything, the washer and dryer hoses plugs and stack kit. And wanted it delivered and installed and paid extra for all of that.

We went in a week later to check on the status and make sure it was all good.

Now today my wife took off work to wait on delivery and installation and then calls me at work advising they didn't bring a stack kit for it. I called Lowes appliance department and they advised the stack kit wasn't on the order. I explained the employee that did our order said this set came with one. They advised now that it didn't. I was upset after all the time and money we spent to get this set and installed and taking off work. They said they could have the guys leave it in my garage and I could reschedule another time for them to come back and get with the set and install it for extra fees and charges.
No way am I going with out a washer and dryer even longer and pay more for there mistakes. The manager put me on hold and never picked back up, I called back and asked for manager and still never answered.
I had to leave work go buy this stack set from Lowes and run it out to my house.

This is absolutely horrible service. Cost me a bunch of extra time and money. We are remodeling our whole house and I cant imagine what other mistakes they will make over the next couple months. I feel the installation should be credited to make up for there mistakes and bad customer service.

Lowe's Service and knowledge

Lowes in oakland md is the worst store I have ever been in. No one wants to help you in any way/ I am having my bathroom remodeled and my worker has purchased all his material from lowes. The employes either don't know about the store, don't care, or are to "busy" to help him. He has waited valuable minutes to be waited on, after all I am paying by the hour, has had to order things and when he gets there to pick them up they either don' t know where they are or are to busy, or lazy, to get them. He has been there on numerous occasions and it is the same each time. I think they should train their employees to be helpful, knowledgeable kind and if this happens again I will use another store there are plenty of others.

Lowe's Trying to get a refund of an order that wasn't delivered

We ordered 2 pieces of wood order [protected] online to be delivered. It was suppose to be del in January and never was. Called customer service and stay on hold for over an hour multiple times and they always say they are escalating the problem and the Dale City Lowes store will call you back. Well it is now April and I am still waiting. I have been transferred to the store only to get "disconnected" many times. What do I need to do to get my refund of the order that was never del and was returned to the store?

Lowe's Curbside pickup

Since my husband has recently had open-heart surgery, I ordered curbside pickup so I wouldn't have to be gone from home for long. I called the number on the sign...no answer. Called right back, gave my order number and the employee said they would have it right out. 29 minutes later, I walked into the store to get my order! They weren't even attempting to bring it out! Never again!

Lowe's purchased appliances last Thursday 3-24 and NOT delivered as scheduled for the following Monday 3-29 , TODAY

we purchased a new washer and dryer at the Callaghan and IH-10 Lowe`s last Thursday 3-24-21 with emphasis and agreement that it be delivered the following Monday 3-29-21 (today). The salesperson and my wife checked the Lowe`s delivery calendar there in the store at the time and Lowe`s assured her that both items were in stock AND that 3-29-21 delivery date was indicated as an available date. That delivery date being the primary determining factor for the immediate purchase of the appliances at that time as we had made personal plans and commitments prior to and following the purchase accordingly. My wife was told the delivery and install people would call just prior to the actual delivery time on that scheduled delivery date.
We were both running errands and other commitments that day (today) but we planned and ensured at least one of us was always at home today to receive the delivery. We were getting anxious about 2 pm when we had no contact what so ever. We both repeatedly called that Lowe`s phone number at top of the receipt as receipt directed. EVERY call, No less than a dozen times, we were directed to either customer service, or appliances dept-, or an associate, with the exact result. That being a phone ringing several times and then to a busy signal...EVERY TIME. With no response or help there my wife drove to that Lowe`s location which is approximately 10 blocks from our home, the scheduled delivery site. Once there she was eventually able to speak with Tania at the customer service desk (which has a phone that evidently is not answered as I was still calling at that time), and she said she was "a manager" but "can not do anything to help you" regarding this matter, and " you will have to call Lili the delivery coordinator tomorrow between 8 - 12 pm"...
My wife almost lost it! But only replied "you want me to CALL? ON THE PHONE? Like someone will answer a phone in this place!"
Tania again says "I cant help you, sorry"
My wife walked out at that point
I will be there in the morning for a total refund if nothing else.

Lowe's Flooring Department

I was in your store in Lawton Oklahoma today in the flooring department and waited 40min for assistance. I informed two employees that I needed assistance in the tile section and they told me that they would get someone for me. I heard them page over the intercom that help was needed in tile. Finely 40min later a person named Johnny showed up to assist me. The tile on the wall that I was looking at had no number or location on it and all that I was told by him is that he has no information to go by so he was unable to assist me and walked away. I do like shopping at Lowe's but with this type of service and a employee with a don't care attitude

Lowe's Rebate

I purchased over 1400 sqf of laminate flooring, $200 rebate, after submitting the work and follow up calls no rebate, submitted on line also mailed in copies of receipts, now it is time to take care of this. I will be visiting the store with my paperwork and go from there it should not have been this hard, I have many more projects to do along with several rental homes I work on, this is bad business practice on your side. Thanks Charles

Lowe's Laminate Flooring Installation

I recently purchased laminate flooring with installation from Lowes in Bessemer, Al and the contractor that was given the installation job by Lowes gave me a copy of a invoice after the work was completed that was much less than what I was charged. Lowes charged me $2000.00 more than what they paid the installer. That is a profit of more than 100% for just calling an installer to come out and install my floors. this does not include the profit they made from the laminate and other items that I had to purchase for this job. When I tried to talk with several people at the store they were rude, unconcerned, could offer no reasonable explanation other than telling me that Lowes had to make money also and told me that I could call cooperate. Soooo, I began calling cooperate on March 17th, 23rd and 25th and after each call I was told that a district supervisor would call me back within 24 hours which no one has. Today I was even told that someone had called me twice which is not true. Now I see why the local store was so unhelpful and quickly told me to call cooperate.

Lowe's kobalt battery operated chainsaw

I purchased a a kobalt chainsaw . I used it once and the chain became dull. I went to get a replacement. The chainsaw is obselete now. Lowes is discontinuing Kobalt items. There are no replacement chains. The saw ran perfectly but with no chain the saw is no good. I want a replacement saw that I can buy extra chains for. The saw model # KCS 1224A-03. It has a 12 inch bar. I need to know if there is another brand that sells the chain. If not, I want a replacement chainsaw that has replacement chains. Thank you

Lowe's Customer Service

Hello,
I am a local contractor in Hillsboro Missouri. I frequently make purchases for materials and supplies at various home improvement stores. I have noticed more and more that employees at Lowes are quite unfriendly and rude and unhelpful. Do you have any training program in place to educate your employees on helping and addressing customer questions? My last visit was probably my final visit. I was searching for a particular product in the flooring materials. I was up and down the same isles several times and was getting frustrated as I noticed employees chit chatting and completely ignoring me. Needless to say i left the store and purchased what i needed at a friendly store 1/2 miles from Lowes known as The Home Depot. They appreciate their customers and are ALWAYS helpful! Lowes could learn a lot from them.

Lowe's One year old samsung oven broke no helpp offered except a 1-866 number

Just over a year ago I purchased $6000 worth of new appliances from lowes Bloomsburg PA just recently the range I purchased from them a Samsung started acting up wouldn't stay on /wouldn't turn off (A fire hazard!) when I contacted the store I bought they quickly directed me and gave me a 1-866 number which turned out to be Samsung which also did not for me so Now im stuck with a $900 faulty range that neither Lowes or Samsung feel responsible for, they were quick to take my money but after that customer service wasn't part of the deal after the sale so beware of this. I made the mistake of not buying the $300+ dollar extended warranty but after spending $900 for a high end range I didn't expect it to be broken after 1 year.

Desired outcome: replace , repair or renburse me for the cost of repair.

Lowe's several orders over the past 2 week

Online Order #1 two cases of tiles and as the associate from South Stafford, VA Lowes put them in my car, he said they are broken but I will make note of it. Make note of it - what does that mean? Nothing! So essentially I brought home broken tiles!

Online Order #2

10 minutes after I placed this online order (set up for truck delivery) someone from the South Stafford, VA Store called and told me he had everything in stock except for one toilet and asked if I would like him to hold the order, find a toilet from another store, then deliver everything at once. Of course my response was yes.

But following that conversation I received several email updates on delivery date changes. Unsure of the problem because they had said they were only waiting on one toilet, I called the store to speak to a manager. The first call to the store, the service desk told me the manager was in a meeting so I needed to callback. Really, what ever happened to let me take your name and number and have the manager call you? The second call after waiting for some time I finally reached the manager. He and I spoke about a missing item holding up the delivery (now a shower door) and agreed that I would come in that day to select a door the store had in stock and replace the one on back order so they could deliver everything in 2 days. He gave me two names of people in the Department to speak to (One name if I came before 3 and the other name if I came after 3).

When I came into the store (after 3) I could not find anyone in that department to help. I couldn't find a manager either so I stopped an associate in the plant department who initially was very reluctant to get involved. But after listening to my dilemma she told me that they guy in that Department was new and couldn't help me anyway.

So after 30 mins or she figured out how to refund the one ordered, charge me for the new shower door, and confirmed delivery.

Delivery was made - incident free. Despite having to go into the store to select another shower door - though he probably could have done this over the phone.

Online Order #3 . This was an order for two 12x12 tiles and two island lights for pick up at Carl D Silver PKWAY Fredericksburg, VA. When I received notification to pick up my order I went into the store on a Sunday morning. Though the notification said the order was in, when I got to the store one of the Island lights was missing. I asked to speak to a manager, but Customer Service could never find one. When I asked what I needed to do about my missing light, I was told I needed to wait until Monday and call the 800 number.

Already upset about traveling down to the store for nothing - as I was going out the door with the partial order I was rudely stopped at the checkout by a sales associate to ensure I didn't steal the items in my cart. I was the only person they asked in the checkout line. So what do I look like a criminal?

When I called the 800 number that following Monday (despite about a 15 min wait to get through) the representative refunded me for the light that I didn't receive and placed a new order for the same light saying it would arrive in 5 days. Great news right? Well no! After I received a call to come pick up my order, they again can't find the light. After going through the story this afternoon with two young associates at customer service, they could have cared less. I asked to speak to a manager and I am left there waiting………. tired of waiting I try again to explain the associate at the Customer Service Desk and he pulls out a light and says here it is. WRONG LIGHT! Are you kidding me? They shipped the wrong light. So the customer service associate refunds my order and on the drive home I have to call the 800 number AGAIN, and explain AGAIN. The island light is now on order AGAIN. The customer service reps tells me "the price you were charged is wrong but I asked the manager to give it to you at the original price." I tell her NO it is not wrong. Lowes has two lights with the same exact description online: one listed for 138.52 (Item 1411946 Model ILSL25BNK) and one listed for 199.99 (Item 2462801 Model ILS25BNK). Funny I know the merchandise better that Lowes.

She ordered another light for delivery to my home as I refuse to EVER step foot in the Carl D Silver PKWAY Fredericksburg, VA store again. The associates are rude and the manager's cannot be bothered with customers.

Online Order #4 This order was delivered on 15 March. When they arrived they were missing one item. The delivery people tell me they don't know and I have to call the store. When I call the store it rings off the hook and disconnects. I tried several times without any resolution but yet I have a missing item for $299.52. So AGAIN I have to call the 800 number for some assistance. After again another 10-15 min wait I finally reach a customer service rep. She tells me she is going to file an incident report and someone is going to call me right back. After an hour or two no call from anyone so I AGAIN call the 800 number. The rep tells me "no they have until noon to respond so I need to wait for the call". Noon come and goes…so I call the 800 number AGAIN and this rep says "no they have until close of the day to call you so you need to wait for the call. No one called at all. So the next day (today) I call the 800 number AGAIN. I believe she called the store herself and told me a Manager named Brian would be calling me. He called and said the item was at the store and they would deliver it tomorrow (3/18).

Are you kidding me - does all the above sound like Lowes is doing well with customer service or product fulfillment? I have a garage full of Lowes merchandise and I feel like loading my vehicles and returning everything and going to Home Depot!

To provide an update to Online Order #4: the truck never came to deliver my item as promised by the Store Manager (Brian) who called me yesterday. When I tried to call the store:

- Using the option for deliveries it rings and rings then disconnects
- Using the option for customer service it rings and rings then disconnects

I am now on hold with the 800 Customer Service number AGAIN waiting to find out what happened to my delivery scheduled for today. Lowes continues to DISAPPOINT.

Desired outcome: The item missing from my order to be delivered as they promised and BETTER SERVICE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS

Lowe's Lowe's In-Store Credit

Dear Sir/Madam,

I tried to redeem the credit on this card to no avail because my driver's license did not match. Unfortunately, employee of mine whose whereabouts are unknown purchased from Lowe's Torrington but they will not redeem the credit on this card. I have no idea where this former employee is but I feel I am entitled to utilize this credit. I do not need the money back, I would be happy with a credit that I can use. The local Lowe's refuses to let me use the credit. I am hoping you can resolve this issue, up to this point I switched from Home Depot for a number of years and have been purchasing a lot of materials, etc. from Lowe's as soon as they opened several years ago. Please expedite this so I can continue to be a Lowe's customer.
