Howard's Appliances Samsung panel refrigerator

I have spent over $6,000 at Howards all within the past month. I bought everything with the extended warranties. I have much more to buy since we just moved into a new home, and I thought that Howards would be the perfect place to buy upgraded appliances for our home over the next few months.

I purchased a fridge that has seperate panels that are delivered with the fridge. I got the wrong panel from the delivery company for the front left of the fridge. Not the wrong color, but the wrong size/model of the panel.

It has been over 3 weeks since then in trying to get the right panel. Howards customer service at the store is attrocious. The phone system for their store in Tustin Marketplace didn't work, so no way to call and find out. Emails unanswered by the sales person. I've had to drive down there 3 times to find out if the panel has come in, about 10 miles from my home. Every week it is some story about the truck not coming in, or not having the parts yet in their warehouse, and promising me a phone call later which never comes. In the meantime, my fridge at home is sitting there with an all metal front and looks horrible.

I am now at the point to where I have no hope of getting this resolved by the people at Howards. I will return everything that I bought, including warranties and appliances and bed etc, and take my money elsewhere. If Howards does not cooperate, I will have my credit card company deal with it.

Desired outcome: I would like my panel or instructions on how to return everything that I bought.

Howard's Appliances Last yr purchased a built-in *** from Howards *** & extended warranty

Last yr purchased a built-in *** from Howards *** & extended warranty. Twice when I put the oven on it has made a pounding sound, does not do it every time. Shut it off, put in on, it is OK. Was told if they come out and can not locate the problem I will have to pay for it. What good is my warranty? How safe is my oven.? Was installed just before Thanksgiving last year. It is a Fridiaire.

Howard's Appliances Howards advertises price matching

Howards advertises price matching. I bought a refrigerator, found a retailer that sold it for less, and contacted Howards for my adjustment. They refuse to honor the full amount because of a delivery fee. I tried to explain to them I would have picked the item up myself at the retailer selling the refrigerator cheaper. They will not budge, and will not honor the $135 adjustment instead choosing to cling on to the additional $80 delivery charge that I was not going to request at the retailer's site.

We bought *** OLED TV for $1499 and a 27" Dryer Pedestal for $229.99 on February 1. We have been getting the run around about the TV we bought. Initially we were told there was a problem with shipping. After a few more follow up calls, the story changed and we were told by ***, the Product Specialist who sold us the item, that a fellow Product Specialist had sold it to another customer not knowing that it had already been sold to us. The latest follow up in August , the story changed again. We were told that the TV was ordered in July and was supposed to be delivered in August. My husband called to verify the delivery date and time in August, but there was no record. I called ***, the General manager of the store at the end of 08 and I was reassured that both the TV and pedestal will be delivered on 09/04. My husband called to verify the delivery time, but we were told that the products we bought do not exist in the scheduled delivery. We have been waiting for this TV for 7 months. Second, there was no problem with delivery of the dryer pedestal, however, when the delivery person tested the dryer, it did not work. The person had already attached this pedestal to the dryer, but since the dryer did not work, the delivery person took the dryer with the attached pedestal with him to return to Howard's. When the replacement dryer was delivered, they did not bring the pedestal. We asked and they said that there was no note written by the previous delivery person about bringing a pedestal back. My husband went on 09/03 to the store and spoke to *** (addressed himself as a sales person) and implied that we still have the pedestal.

Howard's Appliances I am a first time home owner and I guess naive

I am a first time home owner and I guess naive. When the deliverer arrived he walked up and asked me to sign for "arrival of delivery. Fine. During the delivery of the refrigerator, the top end hit our ceiling and damaged it. I only found this out when I was inspecting the fridge and noticed dry wall/paint chips on top of the fridge. I was not notified of this accident. When I brought this up to the deliverer he said that the damage are part of the risk of delivery, it happens, and there's nothing they can do about it. No accountability. Because I signed the "arrival of delivery" which really was the proof of delivery, they had no obligation to compensate us for the damages.

Howard's Appliances I special ordered a Refrigerator from Howard's which the sales person says and the website also reads 2-3 weeks for delivery

I special ordered a Refrigerator from Howard's which the sales person says and the website also reads 2-3 weeks for delivery. I prepaid for the item and a month later I still did not have my item. I requested a different comparable item the company could not provide such item. I requested a refund in the same manner of payment that was given, The refund was delayed and stalled by the store, directly from the saleperson *** and the manager ***. The next week I was sent an email that my refund processed and partly to my debit card and the 1000.00 paid by me in cash was issued as a check which would take 7-10 to process then mail to me. It is now 2 weeks after this email I still do not have the 1000.00 dollar check that was mailed to me. I requested a check number and tracking info and was not given anything.

Howard's Appliances I purchased a $5200.00 oven, paid extra for Island Trim

I purchased a $5200.00 oven, paid extra for Island Trim. Says on website next day delivery. Was told they only deliver on Tuesdays and Sundays. The oven showed up without the Island Trim part. We waited at home again as instructed on Sunday it never showed up. We then waited again on Tuesday and it never showed up. Today I called and *** (our sales rep) tells me it should come Sunday or next Tuesday. I Explained we are leaving out of town Sunday and will be returning Tuesday late evening. He tells me to pick it up myself today. I go there and then told that my part is not there. I then called Howard's *** The person *** tells me there's nothing anyone can do for me. He then says some harassing remarks and makes fun at me. Still do not have my part so unable to install this oven correctly.

Howard's Appliances I ordered a refrigerator from Howard's on June 1

I ordered a refrigerator from Howard's on June 1. I purchased the refrigerator from them because they promised an earlier delivery date than their competitors. The date they promised was a delivery on or before June 25. I called two weeks ago and the projected delivery date was pushed to July 15. I called again today to check on the projected delivery day and now it is a projected delivery of July 30. I feel I was lied to by this company and made a promise they could not keep to obtain my business, which they successfully did. They claim that all sales are final. I would either like my funds returned to me and the sale cancelled or I would like the refrigerator promised sooner rather than later. Their current excuse is they do not have control over when they receive the refrigerator in stock. My feeling is they should not have lied to me in the first place. I am ok with Delivery or Refund

Howard's Appliances I bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator in March or 2020

I bought a Whirlpool Refrigerator in March or 2020. I also bought the extended warranty for $79.99. This month I experienced an issue with the refrigerator door so I called the store where I bought the frig. I was told it was out of the 1st year warranty and to call a company called Epic at ***. I called and spoke to ***. She could not find my contract! She searched under my name, phone number, email address, and home address without success. She told me that Howard's had not sent my invoice and that I needed to call the store AGAIN! I called again, actually four times I called, because the staff didn't know what the h*** they were doing. They couldn't find my information either. They even hung up on me a couple of times. I was furious! I searched my emails and found out that I'm actually with a company called NewLeaf! STUPID, STUPID,STUPID, and poor service. They expect me to send the invoice to NewLeaf! I told them to do it. I want them fix the door and a refund.

Howard's Appliances We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in September from *** Appliance

We bought a Frigidaire refrigerator in September from *** Appliance. In January the ice maker started leaking. We waited months for parts from one company, then in April I contacted *** so they could get in touch with the extended warranty company. In May the ice maker was replaced and the day it was replaced the freezer stopped working. It is now the end of June and the refrigerator is sitting in my garage because the parts they ordered to fix all the problems did not fix them and when the repair technician took it apart he found more problems. We payed $2,500 for the refrigerator and now it doesn't work. Neither *** or their warranty company, New Leaf, will replace the refrigerator for us, give us a refund, or help us in any way. We are still waiting on parts and the unit has to be taken to the repair company, *** in Redlands, to possibly be fixed. The technician doesn't even know if the new parts will repair it. We have been dealing with this for 6 mo.

Howard's Appliances I bought a washer and dryer set July 28

I bought a washer and dryer set July 28. First I was told there is a rebate on the machines. when I applied for the rebate I was told I don't qualify because I live in the wrong city. I would not have bought the machines without the rebate. Machines were delivered but I wasn't sold the attachments needed to connect my machines. It took several calls, but I got that solved. I was not given any paperwork on the machines including instructions on how to use them. Now it is 7 months late and the dryer leaks (actually it has been leaking for months - but I was out of the country for a while) I call Howards and they tell me they are not responsible and told me to call the manufacture - which will be my next complaint. I asked the guy at howards if I could return my machines and they told me the return policy is 7 days after buying them. It took longer than 7 days to get the machines. I am very unhappy with my machines and the services given to me at Howards. I paid $1000 for a machine that is broken. they should replace it or let me return it Product_Or_Service: *** Set Order_Number:

Howard's Appliances Date: 1/16/2022 Amount paid: $1402.85 Manager *** offered to refund $100 right away for the hassle due to how long it took them to contact me

Date: 1/16/2022 Amount paid: $1402.85 Manager *** offered to refund $100 right away for the hassle due to how long it took them to contact me for delivery. When I picked up the unit it appeared to be brand new based upon the packaging. I opened up the dishwasher that was sold as new. It was clearly used. The power cord was missing even though I had paid an extra $40 for the factory hookup kit from the manufacturer. *** changed my original receipt to reflect the general hookup kit vs the factory hookup. I had to purchase a power junction box third party as the original direct cord was missing from the unit. This method is not as clean and reduces safety. The installation manual stated that the power cord is an included item. I provided the store manager clear evidence via text message and photos. The inside of the dishwasher was full of water and dried water spots. He explained to me that another store tested it as to the reasons it was wet. I provided further evidence to the manager as the filter was filled with food and gunk. The drain hose was dirty and previously cut to fit a garbage disposal. Its unlikely that this part was cut during a test run. Other hardware also shows clear signs of prior use. Hardware screws show evidence of scale on exposed threads and clean where not exposed. The manager was clearly lying or incompetent. He continued to provide false information that was provided to him via the Pico *** store(their outlet). The manager has offered to pick up the unit but I cannot go though any further hassle. Used dishwashers of this model are regularly advertised for $750. This business should refund the difference of $380 net difference. My normal rate for labor is $300/hr and will not seek to recuperate the six needless hours I have spent on this project.

Howard's Appliances I bought a washer in good faith under the understanding that it would be new and working condition

I bought a washer in good faith under the understanding that it would be new and working condition. It wasn't tested, doesn't work, they couldn't fix On 3/6 I went to Howard's in *** to purchase a SPEEDQUEEN top loading coin operated commercial washer. They didn't have a floor model but the sales person described it and said it very reliable and said it was a special order and I couldn't return it. In good faith I purchased it with the understanding that I was getting a new working model. On 3/21 it was delivered and it did not look like what was described. I accepted it because the size was correct. The delivery team did not test the unit to see if it was working as it states on the receipt and as they were suppose to . Forty minutes later I ran it on HOT cycle and only got trickling of COLD water. I called Howard's . The delivery guys were too far away to come back and they said a tech would call me that day. No one called !On 3/22 I called Howard's . I just paid $1480.41 for a brand new washer which had several problems with it. I told them to get a tech to fix it today or to take it back! They sent the president of ARROW APPLIANCES *** to fix it . He said it was an easy fix and it would take five minutes. He worked on the washer for over an hour and half and couldn't fix the hot water issue. So I had waited for weeks and paid for a washer that they couldn't fix.I had had enough and wanted my money back! As I was driving home I received a call from *** who said he was a manager at Howard's . I got into a heated argument with him so much so that I had to pull my car to the curb to talk to him. *** wouldn't let me speak and kept talking over me. I told him they didn't test the washer and it has many problems. He didn't want to hear my complaints! His excuse regarding the delivery guys testing the washer was "they didn't have change". I told him that on HOT cycle I'm getting COLD water but he didn't want to hear any of it. He kept talking over me and said that there was nothing wrong with it. I kept saying on HOT cycle theres only cold water coming out, but he didn't care and said all commercial washers in *** are set according to *** ECO LAW . I said if thats true why is there a HOT setting on the washer and if they had told me that I couldn't get HOT water from this washer I wouldn't have bought it ! He then said " you've already signed the paperwork". He said he could get another brand but it would be the same since there was nothing wrong with mine. I told him Im going to contact my credit card company. To which he asked me to give him until Monday evening to talk to his supervisor to refund my money. I agreed. On the 23rd I was out and I get a call from another tech who wants fix the washer even though *** had said nothing was wrong with it. I told him I was out and he said he will call the office to reschedule .On Monday the 25th I called SPEEDQUEEN and asked them about their setting for *** ECO LAW setting. They said all their washers are set to US DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY REGULATIONS and there is no difference between washers sold in *** or any other state. Before six pm I got a call from *** so I asked him why he had lied to me regarding this *** law nonsense. He replied " I'm not here to talk about that" . He said he couldn't give me my money back. I told him I would take action and he said that I could and they have done this many times before. He did mention that his supervisor will call me and he will get the best people to fix the washer ,but I didn't believe him.
