Lowe's ge dryer model gtd86essjws

Bought this dryer in 2016. We have made around 4 calls to the extended warranty that we purchased for it. Yesterday we called again because the Dryer said Drying but no turning of the drum or heat coming out. We were told by the person that answered the customer support line that because we had made many calls they will be buying out our machine as part of the Warranty plan and that we will receive a call to tell us how much money they will give us. We are a family of 7, so no dryer is an emergency for us. My Wife went out to purchase a new dryer since they said they were going to refund SOME of the money in this one. Today we got a call saying that they cannot buy the machine out because our last call was on May the 18th of last year and the contract says it needs to be within 1 year. So now I will be getting a new Dryer next week, and Lowes is sending someone to fix the existing machine at home, after they told me they will be buying it out. They made a mistake and they should honor what they said in the call. The person that answered the phone today was extremely rude, telling me that the call center person does not have authority to make those decisions (As if I was lying).
Lowes you just lost a customer today. I hope I can give you enough bad rep to increase that in some other people.

Desired outcome: Need Lowes to buy the machine as they said they would.

I call and call and call and no one will pick up.
Maybe you can help me. Let's say I need a 5x1.5" piece of wood cut. Maybe 20 of them to make a wall. Can I get them painted white?

Lowe's Zero Customer Consideration

I ordered a door online from Lowe's, order #[protected]. The website indicated that the product was available. After purchasing it on May 17 I was told it would be delivered between 8 am and 8 pm on May 20. We had someone home all day. No door. I then noticed an email that looked exactly like the other except that in small print on the very bottom it said the delivery would be between 8 am and 8 pm on May 22. No door. Another email which I had not learned to examine which said delivery would be between 8 am and 8 pm on May 23. No door. No door ever. I tried calling customer service at [protected] but never got past cheery music and hundreds of restatements of "We're still assisting other customers. Please continue to hold and a representative will be with you momentarily." As I write this I've been in the queue for 58 minutes and 40 seconds. Clearly no one knows the meaning of "momentarily." Clearly no one at Lowe's cares. Anyway, the best part is that I just received an email telling me the purchase was cancelled unilaterally by Lowe's. I've been arranging to have the door installed and had to twice reschedule with the contractor. I've wasted literally hours following up on this purchase. In five attempts I have never reached a human being. I'm not furious, because Lowe's has been so entirely incompetent and deceptive in every phase of this purchase that nothing is surprising. What I am is appalled that a company could be so bad.

Desired outcome: That some senior official at Lowe's be aware of of this horrible performance by the compnay, that he or she know I will never shop at Lowe's again and that I will discourage everyone I know from doing so.

Lowe's Delivery and calling lowes

First off I tried to call Lowe's about a price reduction on a washing machine I purchased from them. On the day the washer was delivered they dropped the price $100. I called as their website suggested and gave up after waiting "for the next available agent" for over 45 minutes. Next I wanted to also tell Lowe's about an issue I had with the delivery. I paid money for Lowe's to haul away the old washer, but it had a pedestal attached to the old one. I wanted to keep the pedestal since I might be able to use it with my new one. After a grumbling noise from the delivery person, and after asking if he could leave the pedestal inside the house on the carpet, that's not what they did. Instead he took the pedestal outside, removed it from the old washer and left it on my front porch. Honestly, how hateful! I'm a woman by myself and they didn't even know if I had a dolly or anyway to get this inside. And nope they left it on the front porch. Add to that the hardware that wasn't free and took it with them. Isn't that stealing. Because it will cost me more money to get new hardware that connects the washer to the pedestal. Shame on Lowes for stealing from me plus charging me to do it.

Lowe's Double door

We purchased a double door for our den over a year ago. Despite numerous calls our order has not been completed. They delivered the wrong glass inserts and no screens. The installer has made multiple trips. We are to the point of calling an attorney and the Better Business Bureau. They need to either replace the door with a correct one of five is a fefund. This was paid in cash.

went thru similar experience, my Installation Contract required Disputes be handled thu a specific Arbitration Company, which doesn't allow recouping Legal Expense. I would suggest Small Claims Court. There are too many stories like this!

Lowe's No service

Purchased a wheelbarrow and waited for someone to unlock and get it for me. No one came. Went back in and told them they announced it again and yet again no service. Went in got my money back and no one cared I wasn't taken care of. I got the same service there when I try to buy propane. What should be a five minute purchase turns into half an hour

Lowe's Home Improvement to house

We understand that the Lowe's in Camillus, NY truly does not care. December 23rd 2020 we were forced to have siding placed on the ground which still sits there today (5/21/2021) because the original measurements were done wrong. Three times Lowe's calls us to say they are on their way to deliver the correctly measured windows/doors, they tell us wait from between the hours of 1-5, 5-8, etc. Which we do and nothing came. So we call and are told by a customer service agent that "nothing was marked to be delivered." Days have been wasted. We are thinking of just calling it a lost (paid in full) and getting someone who can do the work. We know you don't care. We have sent emails to the guy who made the measurements Wayne Chillson and hear nothing. I made a phone call today to complain to the Camillus, NY branch and guy never asked who I was, etc. Because he doesn't get paid to care. He gets paid to punch a time clock. When you guys go out of business I will have a big smile on my face.

Me too, Contracted with Lowes, Redmond, Oregon. So many screw ups and sloppy work and then tell me their though even though leaving Gutters on the Ground, damaged. Electrical not reinstalled, electrical boxes damaged. Trim not installed, Sloppy painting, and the list goes on. I totally AGREE THEY WON'T BE AROUND LONG.

Lowe's Cannot access my Lowes account on my Apple Devices

I am a business member and use Lowes online to search for products and to prepare my pricing for my quotes. Several months back Lowes changed something in their system that keeps me from being able to access them online. I use both an ipad and an Iphone and can't access online from either device. If I go on my pc, i can. This is just for the Lowes online. I can access any other company with no problem, including The Home Depot. Please provide detailed step-by-step instruction for rectifying this issue.

Desired outcome: I need complete easy to understand information on how to access your online services on my Apple devices. Not tech savvy.

Lowe's Customer Service Call Wait and Order cancellation without my knowledge

I've call 3 times about an order that was placed over a month ago. Today I received an email stating my order was cancelled. I went to their website and the item still doesn't show out of stock and now it's went up in price. I'm currently on hold with them and I've been on hold for 30 minutes. Last time I was on hold for 2 hours... yes, 2 HOURS just for the lady to tell me she'd email me a response... did I receive a response? Nope.

My sister just cancelled a refrigerator. Old one broke, goes to Lowes. Inventory shows 20 in stock. "You'll get it in a week". That was a month ago. Week later, "OOPS. It will take another week". Another week. "It's delivered". No it wasn't. Did the phone thing. Goes in person. "Sorry, sorry, sorry..." They have her old phone #, disconnected and the cell phone. Get's text messages "Tomorrow 5 PM to 9 PM". No one shows. Calls, gets through. "Later today". Nope. "We tried to contact you but the # isn't in service". The # she's getting text messages to. "It was delivered" Again. Nope. "They can't find it". Though the inventory says they have them in stock. "In the morning, tomorrow 9 AM". Nope. The last straw was the shipper sending a text message stating "If you didn't get your order call us". She went to HD. They said 1 week. We will see.

A few years ago I ordered an item directly from China. Chinese shipper. China, HK, ship to west coast. Flown to JFK, passed on to the Post Office. Really slow, but the shipping was free that way and I wasn't in a hurry. Each step of the way I was told where it was, other than where in the Pacific ocean it was. I heard the mail person drop the mail off. Within 2 minutes I got a notification from the Chinese shipping company saying it was delivered.

And these people can't find nor deliver something bigger than a coffin.

Lowe's The Entire Store

The past 5 items I have gone to Lowes to purchase I have not been able to buy there. Everything seems to be going to buy online only. If that's the case shut all the stores down and quit wasting people's time. Lowes is no longer a home improvement store if you can't purchase stuff as simple as a hose reel that you carried in stock 1 year ago. I hope this company burns to the ground.

Lowe's Home improvement

Lowes must change their policies about wearing masks! We here in Jacksonville, Florida are not wearing masks anymore. As of 20 may, home-depot is doing just that: not wearing them. You’re employees, whether they have had the vaccine or not, should all be exempt. Stop this charade, this game. Otherwise, home-depot will get all my business. They already have a big majority of the local contractors, since u can't handle the load. I've always been a huge Lowes patron as I am retired military. I heard a marine in the Atlantic blvd store going off about masks. He was loud, but I have to agree with what he was saying about the masks. Throw them in the trash. Burn them.

Lowe's False advertising

On May 3, I went online to order the Sunjoe SPX 3000 power washer from Lowes. It happened to be reduced $20 from the regular price of $159 until May 5. I was unable to order it because there were NONE available.

I signed up to be notified when they were restocked and the price returned to $159 after May 5.
I got an email today telling me they are restocked and the new price is now $169.
I called customer service and spoke to two people who were not helpful or understanding when I told them I think I should be able to get it for the advertised sale price.
I think that they advertised a sale when they knew there were none available.

Desired outcome: I would like to purchase the product at the advertised sale of $20 off $159.

Lowe's Garden Center

I visited the Lowe's Garden Center earlier this evening (05/18/2021) in Helena, MT and couldn't believe my eyes. I was searching for a handful of specific flowering plants for my garden and was shocked to see the majority of plants and flowers either dangerously dried out and wilted or completely dead. In May! I walked up and down each aisle and was in total disbelief at the state of the inventory; a huge collection of brand new, recently beautiful plants and planted pots now fried to a crisp. Even more unbelievable was the number of watering wands available and accessible making it all the more inexcusable. I found myself watering several of the plants myself. I approached an employee about this and asked, "What is going on with all your flowers and plants? They're all fried!" and he responded, "Yeah, it's been hot."

You should know your Helena, MT store is falling miserably short in the Garden Center. It is pathetic. The employees are careless and indifferent and are not doing their jobs. You're not only going to lose a lot of money but also a lot of customers.

Desired outcome: Hire and train your employees so they represent your store better. Hold them to a higher standard.

Lowe's Lowe’s Rebate

I purchased a Samsung fridge from Lowe's because of the rebate for a ring doorbell in September of 2020. I submitted the rebate online and after 6 weeks I got an email saying I was denied. So I reached out and the agent said that I should provide the receipt. After sending, I was given another link to complete a new application.
I have been calling Lowe's Rebate twice a month since February of 2021. And have not gotten a decent answer to why I have not received my doorbell. I called last month and was told an email will be sent to the Tier 2 team to review and to allow for 3 days for a phone call. I sent the Tier 2 team an email by responding the earlier emails they sent me after waiting 3 days to ask of the status and still no response. Today, I called again and was given the same line. We will send an email, allow for 3 days. This is a scam for sure

Lowe's Epoxyshield Tan garage floor paint

Below is the information I submitted to Lowes on 3 occasions now: once on the phone to the Crossville Lowes manager (Phillip) and in 2 emails to Lowes customer service. I have not received a response. I did receive an automated reply to the first stating that someone would respond within 48 hours and it has been more than 4 days. I am unable to attach the pictures referrenced in the below. The main point is that Lowes puts premixed paints out on shelves labeled as one color when in fact they mixed a different tint into the paint and then they refused to allow a return because the two part epoxy paint, which must be mixed to indicate color, were mixed. This is not and was not a manufacture issue: it is an issue with a complete disregard for honesty and customers!

Purchased Epoxyshield garage floor paint from Crossville Lowes on 5/1/21: see receipts #1. Got the TAN color: see picture #2. I have used this product on numerous remodels and my own home in the past. The box had the proper color paint chips for the TAN color garage floor paint. We mixed the two epoxy parts and started painting. The paint color does change as it hardens but it seemed off color. Once it dried in places, the color was NOT what the box stated: it was gray. We closed the container and did not use the remaining product and could not use the paint chips, since they were for TAN garage floor paint: not GRAY. There is a label produced by the Crossville Lowes on top of that can; so Crossville Lowes mixed that color and put it in that box: see pictures #3.
On May 12th, I called the Crossville Lowes and spoke with manager Phillip. Phillip states that if the product is used he don't see how they can replace it. So Phillip thinks that I just need to buy another box of TAN paint to get the porch painted the right color. He stated it is a problem of the manufacturer: without regard for the fact that there is a label on top of that can that proves Crossville Lowes mixed that color.
We want a refund or the product we paid for. Let me know if we need to hire an attorney and see how fast that gets rolling while we're filing reviews on-line to advise others. Surely no sane person would file a lawsuit over $67.48 (was $74.98 before military discount); right?
I've also included a picture of a used brush, alongside chips of the correct color (picture 4), from the box to clearly show the difference. The porch has to be repainted with the proper color because the paint in the box I purchased was NOT what it was suppose to be and HAD been altered by Crossville Lowes and then put back on the shelf.
Not only was this paint mixed a different color by Crossville Lowes, but now, in addition to having to repeat all the work on the porch, I've had to take pictures, write letters and get upset. I remodel houses and I assure you: I will never deal with Phillip again! I don't have time to play silly games with irresponsible people!
How about you have Phillip bring the paint you charged me for and paint that porch? Otherwise, I'll expect a call or email with an apology and an offer to act like a responsible company.

Desired outcome: Lowes repeats all the work wasted; after providing the paint that was paid for.

Lowe's Porch contractor job not completed.

My back porch was built by lowes contractors back in November. The lost the contractors working on my porch at that time and had to scramble and get another contractor. They did a horrible job and took alot of shortcuts. The job was never finished. I signed off on nothing. I have contacted lowe many times over the months from January to May, but NEVER got a call back.

Desired outcome: I want the the ends of the porch mitered and the picture framed steps like was promised. and the boards attached to the porch.

Similar experience, only wished I had checked out Lowes, they don't know what their doing in Construction. The can sell it they just can't do it.
