The Lowes app and customer service might be the worst on the planet, and the worst part is they absolutely do not care in the slightest. There should be an option to give zero stars. They outsource all of their customer service to either Bangladesh or India - it's one of the two. They need to hire Americans, maybe the customer service would improve..
Anyway, I logged into the Lowe’s app today so I could order two bags of water softener pellets for my filtration system that’s running low on salt, and when I went to check out, I realized the card I had on file was outdated. So, I went to add my new credit card at checkout – however, the app kept declining my new card despite the information being input accurately on at least 4 different tries. Fast forward, I tried getting help from Mylow, and they instructed me to log out and log back in. So, I follow their advice, and when I go to log back in, Lowe’s completely blocked my account for “too many unsuccessful attempts”, which is wildly inaccurate because I didn’t have any failed login attempts. It’s worth mentioning that when I initially logged in, I used the verification code that gets email to this email address I am emailing you from right now. Anyway, I had to change my password again in order to get back into my account on the app. So from there, I went to Payment Methods to add my credit card from there rather than at the checkout, because it would not work at the checkout (which is totally stupid IMO, why even have that option if it doesn’t work at checkout?). After adding my new card, the app the automatically logs me out, which didn’t make any sense. So, I log back in, only to see the same message pop up “your account is locked” for too many unsuccessful attempts, which again, is totally false and not true. So I had to reset my password AGAIN, which I did. I then went to “payment methods” to see if it actually saved my card, and NOPE! Nothing was saved, so I tried again, and got the EXACT SAME RESULT AS BEFORE.
ALL I WANT TO DO IS PURCHASE TWO BAGS OF WATER SOFTENER SALT PELLETS FOR MY SYSTEM AND YOUR CRAP APP IS MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE. FURTHERMORE, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS INCAPABLE OF HELPING IN ANY CAPACITY.
