took my 2015 Ford Explorer to my local Firestone on Aug 6th. I had a local mechanic put in a new water pump and he messed it up. Sam called me a few days after I dropped my car off and said it was missing a dip stick and the timing chain was put on incorrect. He gave me a rough estimate and said after they looked further he would let me know more. I called the following week to touch base and Sam was gone. I spoke with Dustin and he had no idea what was going on with my vehicle. Called once again to check and Sam was gone and again no one knew what was going on. So finally, Sam called me on Wednesday, Aug 18 and said he was contracting the work on my car out and the new mechanic guy wanted to replace more parts on my car for $1300. I told Sam no go. I am a single mama and money is very tight. I was kind of upset about how long it took him to get back to me and then wanted more money. I spoke with him in the afternoon and still no work got done. So I called Thursday morning, Aug 19 at 7:30 am and told Sam I would like my car back and I would pay what I owed from that point. He said he could not do that because my car was taken apart and they were over half way done. I questioned him on the timing of all this. Since then I have heard nothing. Called this morning, and he said Dustin was out of town and so my car still was not done. I questioned his motive on why he didn't just give me a car and this felt like a scam. I told him that this is ridiculous and he had more excuses. I am not happy at all and feel like I shouldn't have to pay for poor service and basically holding my car hostage.
CFNA Firestone Card - Unethical Billing Tactics
Never was sent my bill on time. I was consistently sent a past due balance which included a late charge. Also, the letter was always backdated giving you no choice but to pay asap which included the late fee and a quick pay convenience fee by doing so online or over the phone. On top of this, all services I had done on my vehicle at Firestone were terrible. It took them 3 attempts to do an alignment which they never succeeded in handling blaming it on an issue with the way the roads slope. Even better, after having my brakes, done front and rear, within a few days I had to have it towed back as the driver side front boot had come completely off and was laying on the inside of my rim grinding away. I made multiple attempts to get this addressed through corporate which got me nowhere. I've now been hit with a charge off to my credit report every month for years now which is the only negative thing consistently dropping my credit score. All of this over a measly $1k or less which I cannot justify paying due to the charges for services that neither fixed nor solved my reasoning for bringing my vehicle in to begin with.
Desired outcome: Eliminate the full balance and report all negative remarks as inaccurate.

On 17 July 2021, I called Firestone at 1701 N. Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 for a rear end noise issue. I asked if said Firestone had the capability to repair the issue by Monday, 19 July 2021, to which Firestone service personnel, Cesar assured me that it would be done, and an estimate would be provided. I received a phone call from Cesar with the estimate and the details of the repair. I again reiterated the need to have the vehicle by Monday, 19 July 2021. Estimate detailed that all the rear differential bearings of the truck needed to be replaced, and that it would take one day to perform repair. I approved the repair, and Cesar stated that I would receive a call when the repair was completed. On 19 July 2021, another Firestone service personnel, Bryce (Manager) called to inform me that they had received the wrong parts and that the right parts would take another day . Furthermore, if they were unable to repair the vehicle, they would have the vehicle towed to Ford at Firestone's expense. In the latter case, the Firestone bill would be $0, and I would have to deal with Ford. On this same day, I visited the Firestone repair shop, where Bryce showed me the old parts and the truck. Vehicle was disassembled, making it impossible to take possession of the car (drive it out). After further discussion with the Firestone manager, they lowered the bill and would let me know on 20 July 2021 if Firestone could obtain the parts and repair the vehicle. On 20 July 2021, they called and said the vehicle was ready for pickup, repair was completed. Bill was paid in full and an attempt was made to retrieve vehicle, however the center console would not turn on, and Firestone could not get it to work. The console was working when brought in for rear end issue. Additionally, Firestone informed me that they had reused part of the old broken parts to reassemble the vehicle and that it would be covered by a 12 month, 12, 000-mile warranty. I called Firestone corporate and obtained a case number, 2552968. Firestone corporate told me not to take possession of the vehicle, to leave at the Firestone location, and that they would contact me in 48 hours. On 7/21/2021 Firestone called and said that center console was repaired and that the truck was ready for pickup. No one from Firestone corporate ever called me back about the case. I was on travel and did not use the vehicle until 10 August 2021. Upon my return on 8/10/2021, I drove the vehicle. I noticed that the truck started was making noises from the rear end. Then I found liquid on the driveway floor, it was differential oil leaking from the rear differential. I again called the corporate number [protected]) and using the same case number 2552968 told them what was going on. They informed me that the regional manager would contact me in 48 hours. On 8/13/2021 I called corporate again to inform them that no one had contacted me to which they responded that my case would be elevated to a corporate matter and that someone would call in 72 hours. On 8/17/2021, I called corporate again to inform them that no one had contacted me, and they said that someone would contact me from corporate in 48 hours. On 8/19/2021 I called Firestone corporate again, and informed them that no one had contacted me, and they informed me that this case number would now be elevated from a regional matter to a corporate, which is what they had told me the previous two times, which I reiterated that statement to them. They informed me that was not the case and reassure me that someone would call in 3-5 business days to resolve the matter. I am still waiting to be contacted, to have some form of resolution for the vehicle is not drivable, and I am without car and out of $815.16 and perhaps and bigger future bill to address additional repairs needed.
Desired outcome: Full Refund or repair completed correctly

On 8/6/2021 Chris the Service Advisor from Firestore Called and recommended Brake fluid Exchange and Fuel Induction Service. I gave him the OK and he said your car will be finished in about hour. I said ok, I'll await his call when it's ready. At 3pm I called and Chris said all Services are performed. I went into pay for my car. I had a $20.00 Coupon and Chris said I already applied the $20.00 Coupon to your bill. When I got home, I check the receipt and he never did. Second he charged me $58.96 for Tire Rotate Balance of the Tires. Third I asked for the Print out of the Alignment. Chris said he ran out of "INK". Then I checked my Car. The Tires were never Rotated. The Brake Dust were still on the Front Tires. The Tires were still lowe in air. I knew my one tire was almost flat on my driver side front. I said to him You never move the tires, did You? He said You right. I'll do it next time. First of all, I was LIED to. I was also cheated out money. I also spent my valuable time borrowing a vehicle, so I could drop off to Firestone, so they had time to do the service. This is extremely unacceptable and I cannot tell you how angry I am. I do believe they did this to me last year on 8/6/2020 - Invoice # 199503 (same Technician & same Service Advisor Chris with no Alignment PRINTOUT) as well, as I have records to prove it. They did not give me the PRINT OUT of the ALIGNMENT. Please have someone email back concerning my complaint. I put money out of pocket and never received services in return. How can I even believe they did the Brake and Fuel recommendations. These workers have solen from me. They charged me a total of $400.72 and the employees had my car for 22 hours. They charged me for an Inspection, emissions $87.16; Tire Rotation W Balance $58.96; Brake Fluid Exchange $79.99 & Fuel System Cleaning $123.98; (Parts $93.98; Labor $261.11; Shop Supplie $16.31 tax $29.32 Total $400.72) . Oh I donated $5.00 to the Boys Club of America thats inclused in the total. When I paid in full prior to finding out that my car outside was not even worked on. The Service Advisor LIED to me and came clean after I saw my tires. I requested him to fill my tires with air and he did. He said I didn't do the work and to bring it in next time on Monday the 16 of August. Plus he should know I don't pay for Rotate and Balance, as I have the Tire Rotate W/Balance $58.96(all 4) and Alignment recheck (Lifetime Warranty) Plus Road Hazard. Been going to Firestone for the Past 5 to 6 years. I never received a Pa Inspection Sticker as well.

I went to get a Missouri Vehicle Safety Inspection on a 2001 Chevy Cavalier and was told I needed a brake light and headlight replaced. Cost me $3.49 for brake light and $17.49 for the headlight. When I received my bill it was $97.27. They charged me $70.80 for labor. There is no way it took about an hour to do this. Manager was useless! A complaint was sent to cooperate and suppose to respond within 48 hours. I still don't think that will help. I am sure that I am not the only military service member that got ripped off there. So I agreed upon and they changed it but after few weeks brought my car for squeaking brake and they changed it but then again after few weeks again same thing changed it again and now something is making a noise again with brakes brought it to a mechanic guy and said the brake has to be change because the metal is not good. Called to make an appt at other store since the main store ilI went was closing for good. Then made the appt a week before and I called that week to verify again the time and they said I dont have appt then mase it again for same day different time and got there that no one is doing my brakes today because the guys called out and the guy whos working today doesnt do brakes. So, if they called out why didnt say anything when I called to confirmed my appt? And then the guy was sarcastic who made the appt for in the store. I told him what if my brakes suddenly went out of control and I have an accident and his reply to that: "well I cant control that you just have an accident then" so if I die because of the poor service on my brakes meaning Firestone has no sympathy at all. Customers die firestones made money!
