On November 6th 2025
Took my car in to get oil pan replaced along with valve cover gasket. Oil light still came on brought it back several times, said maybe a sensor. Then my half engine light came on and they said it was the ignition coils, so low behold I had them replaced along with spark plugs. Only to have half engine light come back on and in limp mode. Took it to a mechanic to find out what’s wrong. Turns out there were metal shavings in oil pan that either went undetected when oil pan was replaced. Long story short i need a new engine.

Claimed loss: I have lost my confidence in Firestone, and now I need a new engine.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome would be to recoup some of the $2,321.76 that I spent trying to get my car fixed.
