This dm is in the habit of breaking dollartree policy and making impossible work consitiond for the managers she supposesly oversees. I have witnessed her discussing with cashiers and asst. Manager how to sabotage a store manager and the actual store . She speaks with asst. Manager daily on personal phone discussing and planning her next move, rather than work with the store manager and rather than for the benefit of dollar tree all together. I know for a fact she has falsified reports to corporate concerning the manager and this has resulted in suspension then termination. Which is unjustified and a huge loss for the company. This has gone unchecked and has already been detrimental to this particular store . She Tracy has a duty to dollartree which she has disregarded and lied about time and again . If she is allowed to continue this she could seriously damage an already shaky reputation . The company should look at dates and times with questions re: former impeccable manager
not getting paid
I worked at a dollar tree on federal hway in Delray Beach FL, the last nite I worked at this location their was a heavy set Spanish manager from the military/Atlantic Ave store covering for the GM.at the end of the nite this manager tried to get me into his car, i had to threaten to call 911 on him.needless to say I quite.ive left messages for the store manager Barbara I think her name was, & I've contacted corporate because I never got paid.dollar tree is refusing to return my calls & refusing to pay me

Im reporting this complaint about the store on 32nd St manager Dena has been showing favoritism to workers who are no show she hired people and they never showed up the back room is hazardous boxes fell down on a Assistant manager in which Dena takks bad about n upon she's the only Mexican worker and the best but always getting blamed on for everything there's another Assistant manager that hardly shows up and she never gets written up for it and my opinion States because she is white she gets away the store manager is been having personal issues that she brings to work and takes it out on the workers who actually do their best District manager Shawn never listens to employees or returns calls this isn't a work environment with everyone is against each other and not thinking about the store it's self I've been there alot n this Mexican assistance manager Blanca is the best they got why would they blame her or yell at her if she hasn't been properly trained but is giving everything she uptained she learned by watching I'm a manager myself and see potential y does the store manager discriminate because she is late but she calls to let them know she is running late do to car problems managers are supposed to write theses down if a explaination is needed I feel u need to look at the problem n not make problems ill be filing a OSHA complaint too have a great evening

On several occasions within the past three months, I have not been able
to purchase loaves of Bread, 6-pack water bottles, and Jolly Time popcorn kernals. I'm being told that management do not have control of ordering the products / supplies. I would prefer to continue shopping at Dollartree,
however, if inadequate supplies continue I will go to the competition.
We only receive product that is at the distribution center. We cannot order anything in the store unless the store has a cooler/ freezer, and sometimes supplies run low on those items. If the distribution center doesn't have it, neither do we.

I don't even know if I have a job anymore. Paulette is very rude. She is rude to customers as well as her employees. I am a grown woman so we can talk like grown women. And I get paid to cashier. Not stock, cashier, break boxes down, etc. While she does nothing. Now don't get me wrong I don't mind helping one bit. But that's not my job. And to keep customers happy that's what brings them back to shop. I'm tired of apologizing to customers for her actions. It's not fair to them or the business. For your information, it is your job to assist with stocking stuff on the shelves of you are not handling a customer at the register. You don't get paid to just stand around.
they fired me cuz they said I didn't come at 5:30 but I did and none of the manager showed up
I was supposed to work at Dollar Tree January 6th 2018 at 5:30 in the morning I was there the plow guy was plowing the parking lot I was there I called the manager Heather at 5:44 in the morning nobody answered I slid a note through the door around 5:50 -5:55 telling them I was there and the camera see me sliding a note through the door or walking up to the door I went back home cuz it was a blizzard that day soon as I got home I fell back to sleep the manager called me around 6:30 a.m. but none of the managers was up there when I went up there then they fired me because they said of lack of attendance but I was there and none of the managers that show up that morning then I drove by the managers house Brian and him and Heather was still at his house with all the lights off I feel like I just got fired for no reason because of the managers didn't show up when they was supposed to show up then I get fired the next day but they didn't tell me until January 8th around 5:30pm that I was fired. And the manager Heather said that she was there at 5:40 and Angela was there at 5:50 but nobody was there cuz I was in the parking lot the whole time she wasn't there And the store manager Angela knows that the other manager Brian and Heather is in a relationship but they're allowed to still work there in a relationship.

The store on val vista/guadalupe may have lost my business AGAIN today! I keep going to this store only because after it changed management a couple years ago, the turnaround was amazing and i love shopping there . everyone was /is so helpful and happy ! Great at their jobs. Save 1 employee who im told is some kind of asst. Manager? Which is a joke, and today was not a good experiemce at that particular store thanx to julie (?) I think if your a manager act like one so unprofessional and lazy . Then to actually bad mouth the managment and other employees to the customer! Hello I wish to remain anonymous, I am sending this complaint in regards of my experience working at my local dollar tree. I didn't work there for very long, about one month and a half to be precise. The store manager I wish to file a complaint for is Danielle Mullins the address for the store she is employed at is 868 S. Boulder Hwy, I politely asked her why I was getting very little hours, and why she kept on giving my work days away to other employees. I have a family to help, and working one day a week isn't going to bring much home. She told me that the reason for my short hours and lack of work days is due to overtime that other employees from other stores make.
To me this makes absolutely no sense, why do employees from our store get their hours cut for overtime of employees that do not work there?
my question is, is she authorized to be changing peoples days and work schedules that are already made? Keep in mind I'm not the only employee being effected by this.
I forgot the store took 2 full months before giving me my final paycheck... I had to argue with the district Mgr because Melody store 1902 kept lying saying I had been paid. So with all that being said I was told not to shop there any more LMBO sorry but she is in the wrong not me. I hope this msg gets someone’s attention and looks into the behind doors garbage going on there
I worked for Dollar Tree 11 plus years I would work whatever was needed I also had a 40 hrs a week weekday job most of my 11 years were great I am a very hard and dedicated worker two full time jobs 75 plus hours a week. Then store 1902 was really crappy they fired a very good MGR she was well Loved by all the people she had crossed paths with and worked very hard 24/7 at store 1902. I was her assistant Mgr for many years when they let her go she was a week away from Retiring and lowlife Dollar Tree for no real good reason fired her that’s when all Hell in that store started Melody G. Took over and she is the reason all the long time employees quit me being one of them she is a very rude and very UNFAIR to certain workers she only lets some work 2 or 3 hrs a week and gives her so called pets a lot of hours MELODY ALSO IS A VERY RUDE PERSON WHO LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING TO MAKE HERSELF LOOK BETTER. Dollar Tree is opening a new store in Bellefontaine, Ohio and the Manager there degrades the employees his name is Dave he yells at them to get things done for him. He yells at the contractors and the truck drivers that are making delivery to this new store. Dave stated hes been with Dollar Tree for 15 years and they allow this kinda a person to manage their employees? They also hire 20 people to ready the store knowing full well that they will be firing over half of them within a 9 day span. Mainly woman there.They don't value Family s at all! Id rather spend a little more money and shop at Dollar General.
unprofessional behavior
This morning, 1/11/18, I took my 3 grandchildren to the Dollar Tree #4750 in Lakeland, FL. After spending 45 minutes shopping with an infant, a toddler, and a teenager, I proceeded to check out. There were 2 very long lines, but I ended up checking out in the line that "the manager" was using. After ringing up all of my items that came close to $25, my credit card seemed to have an issue in the machine. The manager had me try it numerous times but it was still not working. By now, the children had pushed the cart toward the exit and the manager told me to bring the things back if I had no other source of payment. He told me that, "the people before me used their card and it worked just fine so there is something wrong with your card". I asked him if I could just try to go through another line because I KNOW that my card works (everywhere else), but he insisted that it wouldn't make a difference. He then proceeded to un-bag all of my items, throwing them into the cart. Aggravated and embarrassed, I took the cart full of mangled boxes and went to the other check out lane. (I would have left if not for the children wanting their items) The card worked just fine there and my grandchildren had their toys and lunch items that we came for.
I went back to the office (by now the manager had gone there) and knocked on the door. I explained to him that if it ever happens again, instead of embarrassing and humiliating a customer, perhaps he could be more helpful by suggesting they try another register. Obviously there was a problem with the card reader. He became very agitated and started yelling at me something about "I OFFERED you to use another form of payment!". If I had had another form of payment, don't you think I would have used it instead of being offended by such a cruel person? According to the other workers there, this is not an isolated incident! This is a person who should not be working around, much less overseeing, other people. I told some of the others there that I would definitely be "reporting this incident" and was told wholeheartedly to do so. Something really should be done about his attitude toward customers and staff.

i go to the dollar tree alot but now that its got cold the manger is letting them hang right at the front door i don't like them stand at both doors i'm sorry that they don't have any place to go but i don't like them at both sides of the door i'm a older lady i will not go in there along so please could u please do something about it even if its not cold they are still there. thank you

It's an older African American lady that works the register there everytime we come to the store the lady is talking about people. She works mainly at night an sometimes in the morning on the weekends . Sometimes she doesn't want to give customer service and when she do she talks about the employees in there. We frequent the Dollar Tree Store locations #608, 4075 and 5535 quite a bit. After our visit 12/18/2017, we will NO longer shop @ Store # 608. The MANAGER is rude and never helpful. Thought he would be different during holidays. Guess not. The store needs a new manager. If he is a franchisee, maybe he needs a new profession. Will never go there again and mind you, the store is only 1 mile away from where we live. He could NOT take care of his customers on 12/18/2017 - so Store #5535 received our business - Thank you CARA and Misty for helping us. Sure Dollar Tree still got our $$ and our $50 dollar order may not hurt his bottom line, but letting my friends and family know the service is horrible will do it.

I am a teacher and a frequent shopper at Dollar Tree on 5223 Buford Hwy, Doraville, Ga. 30340 in Pinetree Plaza. I always carry a bag to carry my stuff in because I do not have a car. On 12/20/2017, I was shopping at dollar tree, as I entered the store, a cashier yelled out "ma'am, you have to check your bag," and I replied, "do you have a sign that states that or posted anywhere?. I said,"when you have a sign that applies to every customer, I will check my bag." I proceeded to shop. The manager appeared on the aisle I was shopping on and stood close by me. I moved to another aisle, and immediately he moved to the same aisle and was right on my heel. This continued for two more aisles, and by this time I felt I was being followed and harassed. He did not care to be discrete about what he was doing, he wanted to be clear that he was watching me. He was trying to intimidate and harass me because I refused to give up my bag. If there was a visible policy in place I would adhere to it. I've shopped at many dollar trees and have never been asked to check my bag If that was the policy it would be consistent throughout all the stores. I was insulted and appalled by the accusations and harassment. I will not shop at this store if I continue to be subjected to this kind of treatment.

I do have pictures. This store was once a beautiful, clean store. The shelves are so dirty ( very little product on the shelf) but a crap load of boxes in most of the lanes. The carpets probably have not been cleaned since it opened.
Since food is sold at this location I truly believe the health department should be called in.
Can something be done? When i asked why the product was all over the place in boxes, there answer to me is "they" will not pay us to stay later to stock...really...

Old white haired associate called Susie I believe was extremely rude when I placed my shopping basket in what was apparently " the very wrong area". Her tone was extremely rude and irritated and customers waiting behind me also commented. When I suggested she could've used a nicer tone, she continued to reprimand and antagonise. I was angry, upset and embarrassed.
I will NEVER be back to this store and will tell EVERYONE I know neveryo shop there.
I would like an apology and this associate written up for her appalling lack of customer service. It's very clear she doesn't want to be there and makesthat attitude loud and clear to everyone there.

If this website is a place for customers to be able to post a complaint, why was my post deleted? I complained about a store manager, which now I will add her name, Claudia, calling and texting me during her work hours, that she pursued my husband until they began having an affair. In a snap shot that she send me of their messages it said, " Remember I made you talk to me until you gave me your number". Dollar Tree management if you don't like my complaint and don't feel it's appropriate for you to allow me to post this then maybe you should be more careful about the people you actually have managing your stores. And like I stated in the previous post that you deleted, now she advised me not to go to HER STORE anymore. Not only have I been a customer at that store but so has my entire family. This is a small town and I'm sure I'm not the first one this has happened to. Shame on you for trying to cover up for your low standard employee. I'm sure she only has her pick of giving good customer service to certain customers as you with the complaints you choose to allow on this website.
On December 19, 2017, I received several calls and text messages from the manager at the Dollar Tree located in Alton, Tx on Conway and 5 mile line telling me she was having an affair with my husband. She send me text messages stating where she was telling him " Remember I made you talk to me until you gave me your number" This was during her work hours. The reason she told me was because she got angry when he told her he wasn't going to spend Christmas with her. It's humiliating that I've been going to this store as well as all my family to find out this is where the manager uses it as a [censor] house to meet men. And now, she advised me not to go to HER STORE anymore. And on case you're wondering, no I do not forgive the trash that went along with this home wrecker.

my son asked to use the bathroom, one of the cashiers said it was out of service, then I went and asked my child could use the women and she said no, then I bought fast so my son don't make a mass, when I went to pay the cashier clouse, because she was going to use the bathroom, I found out that sometimes they do not let clients use it to not clean it. Today (02 Jan 2018) at around 7:15pm I visited one of your store located at the intersection of Warden Ave and Eglinton Ave East. The purpose of the visit to look for Soil/earth for pot, if available.
When I entered into the store I saw a male Sales Associate name Jason (tall person) and asked him about the potential location for the soil for pot. Then he replied, "look around the store". Then I said, " you work here, you may be knowing and that is why I am asking you". Then he said, "When you are in a store, you must walk around for your item".
- Hearing his this comment I became surprised and seems to me like very ignorance to customer, non-supportive, kind of humiliated, not Sales Associate like behaviour and finally non-professional dealings.
Then I went to Cashier name Santiago, to ask for Store Manager. He said that Jason is the Manager. Then he asked me "what is the complain about"? I answered him that this is my part and I asked him about the complaint number. Then Cashier replied me that they do not have any complain number.
- To my view, Cashier's dealing was also not satisfactory at all.
Hope you would investigate and take necessary corrective actions.

Hi I am a 34 year old woman, I shop constantly as I'm a Realestate investor and former published author. I was munching on some of my own candy while I shopped as I am severely diabetic, and tend to faint when my sugar drops which is common for me. Dollar tree location: 6904 north island hwy, Nanaimo, bc.
At the cash all my 24 items were rang up when 4 employees surrounded me. Saying I had taken my OWN candy. I showed him the box was old and stained and that the candies inside were also not new. He insisted he didn't want to see and didn't care to hear anything I said. I remembered him from other visits to the store he had made me uncomfortable many times before asking 5 times per visit if I needed help. I'm an extremely polite person and I nicely declined but I've seen him do it to many other women at the store also. Staring much too long in an unprofessional manner. He didn't care to hear my health problem or give an extremely loyal customer out. So I left my 24 items behind and agreed to pay for my OWN candy over again! I allowed them to rob me, because I was a woman shopping alone. I was taken advantage of and disgraced among my fellow community as a theif of a dollar candy place. In my mid 30s and owning multiple homes in the area this is disgraceful and disgusting abuse of a good customer. It is a complete lie and I will be posting a shorter version of this on ALL my social media accounts including my instagram accounts! Which all have over six thousand followers!
