CVS review: Product and service

7/15/2021 CVS Pharmacy 307 E. Main St. Gas City, In 46933 time 5:30-7:30 I would like to say that my family has been with this CVS for as long as it has been in its location. We always seem to have trouble getting scrips filled in a timely fashion. I work with the public so I understand every now then it may not be ready. I am 66 my mother is 85. We have been extremely ill for about 2 weeks, So back to the Dr. Who gave us 3 different scrips and explained to us what each one is for. that was called in about 4 ish pm today's date. I went to the drive through, cause it was raining and we both are contagious with strep. We were told it would be another 30 min. ok so we waited in the parking lot for 35 min drove around and they had 1 script for my mom, Ask if we had any questions, no the Dr. explained what we were getting. My scrips were gonna be another 30 min. ok we are very sick can you please expdiate them at all. Yes was the answer. before I moved from the drive through I looked at the scrip they gave me for my mom, Its wrong this was a blood pressure pill script. Not what we were suppose to get. So I was told to move out of the drive through, I did, went inside talked with them explained its not right, he said well I can't take it back, ok can we have the script that was called in around 4. Was told they had no call in's from that office, ok but you just told me that I have two your working on from that Dr. office. I was told to have a seat they were busy and short staffed. I have no idea what the resolve is for this, but what I do know had my mother went home and took two of the pills he gave her (which she does take but only a half a day) and the Dr. had said to take two of what she was ordering. It could have killed her. I know being a big corp. that a law suit for a wronged death may just be penny's for you. And Oh well. We are both home spending most of the day out of the house too seek medical help to not having any medication. We both purchase all our drugs from you, but tomorrow I will be pulling all our scrips and having them sent else where.
