CVS review: Prescription not filled

The pharmacy in Target on Old Country Road in Riverhead, NY has has constant staff turn over for a few months now. Each new person is less capable less courteous than the one before. Last night I needed to pick up a medication I have been on for many years. My doctor writes the script for six months and I pick up 1 month at a time. The pharmacist refused to fill it because the script had been written more than 30 days ago. This makes absolutely no sense! Of course it was written more than 30 days ago, she writes then for six months at a time! This pharmacist, a gray haired man working at 5 pm Monday January 10th, refused to discuss the issue, he wouldn't even look me in the eye. He just said "I can't help you" and walked away. I am furious! His ignorance and incompetence caused me a night without the medication I need. I called today to see if we can resolve the issue and was left on hold for 15 minutes. This pharmacy is an unprofessional mess.
