Last month someone used my CVS Extracare + rewards to purchase items. At that time I called, explained the situation and got some of the credit put back onto my card. The purchase was made in another state and I could see it in my Apple They removed my phone number from my account stating that would fix the problem. This month it happened again. I called again and asked to talk to someone that could actually fix the problem, Didn't happen, they said they had no record of what happened last month. I asked to speak to someone in the fraud department. The person I was talking to had no idea what that was. I do not think english was their primary language. Their app, and web site, have no option to do a chat or any usual communication. I asked to have my account canceled due to concern their security is lax and I have no desire to have my identity compromised. I doubt that happened but I did go in and remove my CC info. I do not recommend using CVS and I will probably be switching to Walgreens. I originally signed up because they were connected to my health insurance provider but had been disappointed in the app and web site since I signed up. Not a big issue but this was the last straw. They just lost an approximately 6 year member and customer.
Recommendation: Use anyone but CVS
I have been asking cvs.Com to fix my birthday and they have refused to do it, but are committing fraud by continued charging my credit card and denied me the use online. How can i stop cvs to stop charging my credit card every month for the monthly fee they are stealing from me? i provided them with the correct birthday and they don't fix it, and conveniently denied me the use of my account, but continue charging me the fee. This is fraud and i'll let everybody know that cvs is stealing your money when there is an issue and refuse to fix it, but keep on charging the credit card.
