I was falsely accused and shown no proof, let alone given a reason for being fired. I HATE CVS and the idiots they put in charge of SOME of their stores. I worked with other stores that I feel are ran by good management and great employees, but had the misfortune to be hired by a store so mismanaged that it cost me my employement with CVS Pharmacy. Lisa from loss Prevention should be fired and jailed for the harrassment and misuse of her authority to persuade others to FALSELY sign documents thinking that if they just do what she says, their employment would be saved...ALL JUST LIES AND CRAP! I signed papers with LIES on them about other employees, I was REFUSED COPIES AND LIED TO. And still was let go with NO REASON, PROOF or otherwise. I HATE CVS PHARMACY, MORGAN HILL. THERE MAY BE SOME GOOD EMPLOYEES LEFT BUT WITH THE MANAGEMENT THEY HAVE AND THE LOSS PREVENTION TEAM THEY HAVE, CVS PHARMACY IS NOT GOING TO LAST LONG IN MORGAN HILL, CALIFORNIA! RUTHLESS, LIEING, IDIOTS ARE ALL THEY ARE. IF CORPORATE WANTS A PROFITABLE, WELL MANAGED STORE, TRY HIRING ONE OF THOSE THEY JUST FIRED. I AM ONE THAT KNOWS FOR CERTAIN, THAT I CAN MANAGE A MORE PROFITABLE, BETTER STORE THAN THEM!

Hi! I was just terminated on Fri. March 16Th. It was an ongoing register problem...Supposedly! I was told I was short 6 times but 4 of Them I wasn't The only one using The register. Yeah you sign in and sign out but it wasn't counted in between. I did sign The 1st 3 sheets...although it may not necessarily have been me! I signed a 4Th on on Feb. 28Th. That's when The register started to be randomed. Well I was good right up until March 14.Then low and behold, again...a shortage! Quite odd! 14Th of two months in a row. Corporate say it's a "coincidence" I don't believe it! Oh! March 16Th I was let go exactly 2 months to The day That I started in The store...I am an adult! I own a business! I have sat on PTA boards, and run youth sports league snack stands... There's NEVER been an issue! EVER! I know how to count and can get affidavits to prove it! I regret not witnessing The drawer being counted out! I did call corporate. Six days later, They finally called me back. I missed The call...uggh! Sticking with corporate policy They are right 3 strikes and your out! I'm just not sure it was actually true! Day staff is very cliquey and gossipy, but I worked nights so I didn't spend a lot of time with Them. Yet, everyone knew every Thing! They knew I was getting fired when I walked in. How would it wind up being Their business! VERY unprofessional to say The very least. Anyway we'll see how This plays out! I honestly Think it was The Asst. manager who isn't The brightest crayon in The box, and The little shift supervisor who bopped around with her ipod in her ears and would ignore you if you spoke to her! Well any way wish me luck!

I you are not liked by someone that is the favorite you will be let go. No matter how hard or good you do. I feel I was bullied. I no longer have a job there but was told that I could be rehired just at a different store. But I was also told that there are no openings. There are so many things that pharmacy manager did that was not ethical.

NEGATIVE.. "psuguy." I work for CVS on the east coast.. obviously, far from this commentor. And unless YOU work for them, you don't know their STRONG-ARM, UNETHICAL, ILLEGIT, BUSINESS PRACTICES. They'll say anything to get you to sign their documents... though a lie or not. They'll either say, sign this and it's just a warning.. or I'll have to let you go... or as far fetched as "others have testified that you have_____, (and we hold their names anonymous), but we will bring charges against you. And even though you feel strongly that it's a load of bull... with people like this, they will OBVIOUSLY SET YOU UP! It's about everyone covering their own butts.. and if they fire someone else for something they are guilty of.. it goes unquestioned.
I know of TWO WRONGFUL FIRES in our store... one was a friend of mine, both cases were unrelated and distant in recourse..but they pulled the same bull.
I WAS DISCRIMINATED AGAINST, religiously, by a pharmacist and refused to sign his write-up. I filed the claim with the District Managers Office following company protocol, and District along with Regional M. came 3 days later, met with me privately.. agreed, stated that I had been "singled-out" based on what they were not sure..but they understood my concerns/claims of religious grounds(which I have facts) and they ripped up my write-up in front of me and apologized. Six months later I've still been getting written up over and over by him, I won't sign them, I filed a claim with HR after District didn't seem to resolve anything and HR were less helpful than they, so I filed a claim with the Equal Emplo Oppor Comm of Rel Discrim.
You don't know how many times they've tried to get me to sign a document.. but I always say after I take it home and review ONLY. So of course, that ends that. MOST PEOPLE WOULD SAY THAT I'M CRAZY FOR STAYIN THERE... well, I'm not most people. I believe people NOT FIGHTING and STANDING UP is what makes these corporate giants think they are INVINCIBLE. They DON'T want me there, and that's EXACTLY why I WANT TO BE! There has been misconduct way deeper than I could explain here and I'm the most unwanted employee at CVS. But if they fire me now, even for what seems to be a justified cause... They know another claim of RETALIATION would be brought against them. In most cases, they are forced to rehire you with backpay and an added fee determined by EEOC. Even the most justified of causes, they'd have to prove that no one currently employed has EVER been guilty, or past employed(looking back up to 4 yrs) without consequence... and if that is found, IT PROVES AGAIN, DISCRIMINATION.
My point is exactly hers. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING to get someone out of the picture. The company's name may be 3 letters but it sure isn't G O D ... it's CVS, and they are NOT God.
If anyone that is currently employeed or previously employeed with CVS has been discriminated against in any way and you feel it's been mishandled or processed... shoot me an email. I'll let you know all you need to know about how to protect yourself and your job while filing a claim against them.. and it doesn't cost us a cent, it's your civil right!

Have you tried contacting your HR representative or corporate office? Unless you work in an at-will state, you should give it a shot. If you do work in an at-will state, they are legally allowed to terminate you at any time (but it still might be worth the try).
