Since when did it become policy for your associates to stop everything they are doing and stand at the entrance and watch customers as they are checking out. I am sad to say this happened to me on the afternoon of June 2nd. I had just got home from my daughter's doctor's appointment and when I got home I realized I had no more paper towels. I left my daughter with her nurse and went to the CVS on 6161 Telephone Rd, the one closet to me. Upon entering I was greeted but I noticed the associates were alerted to my presence. I proceeded to get my paper towels and toilet and used my rewards to help pay for my items. As I approached the self check out stand I noticed one of your associates stop what she was doing and proceed to stand in front of the entrance watching me as I checked out. Your other associate aslos came and stood at the entrance of store watching me as well. I became anxious and nervous with them standing there looking at me lke I was a criminal. As If I was going to run out the store and attempting to steal something. I hurried and payed for my items and left out the store. As I was leaving I noticed they walked away from the front of the store. I was not happy at all and somewhat angry at how I was treated. I called customer service and filed a complaint but of course it probably went no where. I was still on edge and this event continued to bother me. I then called the store to speak to the store manager. I spoke to the store manager training, Regina. Upon talking to her I felt like she really didn't listen to what I was and over talked me. She explained to me about the new policy and how they had to stay near the end front of the store but this was not that type of situation. This event has me reluctant and with no desire to shop at that store anymore. I love the rewards and coupons I get with my extra care card because it helps me save money as a single parent. I have noticed that the last few times I have shopped at that store, I have been under surveillance but this event just solidified my suspicions. I should be able to shop just like everyone without fear of being profiled and treated like a criminal. I don't start trouble and ahve not given anyone any cause to think of me in that way. Not everyone thqt lives in the ghetto is a product of the ghetto. This issue needs to be addressed and prevented from happening to anyone else in the future.
