CVS review: Grocery department

I'm fortunate to live in Glen Cove, N.Y. where we have 4 CVS stores in a radius of 5 miles from our home. One of the stores has a 24 hour pharmacy, which we greatly appreciate. All the employees are helpful and courteous, considering they seem to be understaffed the many times I have been shopping in the stores. My complaint is when an item is on sale, many times all four stores have no stock. Of the many items I would like to bring my favorite 2 to your attention, Fiber One Cereal (Original) was on sale last week $3.99 or 2 for $6.00. I went to all four stores twice last week and the shelves were empty! Again, if I wanted to wait online to get a "rain check" the staff is more than willing and apologetic that there is none. In my experience that's not a good practice considering I can't eat the rain check and would have to make another trip to the stores again. Also Dove chocolates especially "Dark Chocolate" when on sale the stores are normally at of them.
