CVS Cashier

My wife and i are Senior Citizens and recently visited our neighborhood store, #7251 in North Las Vegas. We use this store for the pharmacy, buy groceries, and health supplies. We are Care members and have always been treated well.

Today we bought groceries and a bottle of wine. We went to the self serve register like we always do, not knowing we couldnt buy alcohol there, as we had never bought it before. The cashier, Karen, yelled from her register, "you need to come to the register you cant buy alcohol there". I walked over to her and said we were not aware of that and she said, "I told you that" to which i replied you never said anything to us, and she then said,"Yes i did, its not my fault if you didnt hear it". I guess that was a dig on our age. This was in front of a line of customers, and she didnt stop she kept repeating that she had told us. My wife is now crying because she is yelling at us and the other customers are laughing at us.

We have never been treated this poorly in any CVS or any other store before. There was no reason to treat us like that and she could have simply walked over to the self service register and tell us in a normal tone that we needed to go to her register.

Desired outcome: I believe that she needs to be reprimanded. If no one says anything to her this behavior will be repeated.

CVS Mistreated by a lady in the pharmacy department

My name is mai , I’m a crew member, I was having trouble with my synecdoche , I went to cvs on the 49th street Nyc and I tried to find in the shelf anything to make me better especially that I have to fast for hours for Ramadan month as I am Muslim , I didn’t recognize any so I headed to the pharmacy to ask and the small door was opened and there were many medications for the sinex so I enter a step forward to check which is the better and a lady was trying to help but the other lady spoke in a very rude way to her colleague referring to me , the small door was closed and I was confused between 2 medications and the lady was helping me to choose but the other one again spoke in a very rude way that I have to finish choosing as they will close in 2 minutes so I had chosen one of them but also told her not to give me if I am not having an American id, so they didn’t gave me and it was in the shelf but the difference is that the other one last for 24 hrs .

The problem iis that I felt so bad as I couldn’t sleep till I decide to write you. Nobody has the right to treat customers in a rude way even if they are following rules , there are many nice ways to refuse.

I wish you get my point ,

CVS Prerscription Pick-Up

I walked .7 miles to the CVS on 231 Massachusetts Ave., Boston, MA to pick-up my prescription, which I needed. I was told by the pharmacy employees to come back because they were all going to lunch at the same time. I told them I couldn't come back because I had to get back to work. They refused to get my prescription for me and pulled down the track blinds so customers couldn't get in. This was at 1:00 in the afternoon. I complained to the manager and she said nothing can be done.

Now I need to go the entire weekend without my prescription. I've never heard of a pharmacy closing in the middle of the day. Thought you should know.

Desired outcome: Just wanted to let you know. I'll be switching pharmacies since I need to pick-up prescriptions on mu lunch break.

CVS front checkout

I had a cash rewards coupon for $9.19. We had a prescription to pick up and wanted to buy some vitamins also. My husband gave the lady behind the pharmacy counter the cash coupon along with the vitamins and she scanned the coupon and said that we had to use it at the font counter. Needless to say when we got to the front counter when the manager scanned the coupon it said redeemed. My husband argued with him and he came around the counter and told us to get out of his store and never come back. Needless to say, we won't.

This occurred March 31st around 12:00 PM.

CVS 4th Covid Vaccine.

I am a transplant patient. I have a Dr's note saying I am immunocompromised and would benefit from a 4th booster. The first time I tried at CVS on Washington in Springfield Illinois I was told I need a doctor's note. I got a doctor's note and came back. The Pharmacist told me I should stick to Pfizer and the CVS on Stevenson Drive in Springfield Illinois. When I got there, I was denied my vaccine and told I needed to wait a couple weeks till the FDC, or some other initials okayed it. CVS is taking appointments for immunocompromised to be vaccinated.

Desired outcome: I need my vaccine for my protection.

I purchased one box of HYDRXYCUT BLACK, the box had a coupon attached "Use now $5.00 off". I get to the register and the coupon is scanned and register is saying coupon is expired. The manager is called to the front to help, she says the coupon is expired and it can't be used. She was nasty in her tone of voice; her body language was as if we were...

On Dec 4, 2021, I received a raincheck at the CVS Garwood, NJ location for QunolTumeric gummies. The store was offering a buy one get one free promotion and there was only one bottle so the Garwood location gave me a raincheck for a free bottle and advised that I could use raincheck at any location. For months I went to Garwood CVS and Westfield CVS and...

CVS Carepass monthly subscription

I'm being charged $ 5.44. We never signed anything agreeing to this service. Secondly, they should not be charging sales tax. I should be refunded the approximately $ 16.50 for the last 3 months (that I can easily see) or whatever months that they charged me for. When I called and spoke with customer service at 11 a.m. this morning, Ann was quite rude. She cancelled the membership but refused to refund the prior months. When I pushed the request and asked to speak with her manager, she told me that no manager was available. I continued to persist and Ann hung up on me.

The charge was posted to my American Express card

Desired outcome: I'd like the approximately $ 16.50 refunded to my Amex credit card

CVS CVS Broad St. Fairborn Ohio/ Savannah

I have gone to CVS for years despite the rude terrible behavior from the employees. They are certainly consistent with always treating their customers like dirt. I’ve tried on several occasions to have my meds transferred someplace else. They refuse. Today was the final straw. I received a call that my RXs would be ready at 2:40. I went early knowing it’s normally an hour wait. After waiting, I was greeted at 2:50. Of course only a few were ready. The girl, Savannah proceeds to tell me that call means nothing and she won’t have them ready for 2-3 more hours when they had 6 hours already. I said I do not need any more excuses from them. At this point she refused to give me the meds that were ready. I finally get them and as she gives them to me she screams she’s not going to even give me a time for the others to be ready. I called CVS corporate and got absolutely no where. How does a place like this stay open?

Desired outcome: My meds transferred to Walgreens in Fairborn. An apology from the girl that screamed at me and refused to give me my meds.

CVS Consistently poor customer service and product availability

This refers to Store #10031 in Ocean, NJ. I have used this store for the last 7 years and it is one of the consistently worse managed CVS stores. For example, your product availability is below average. It seems you never have the product I am looking for whether it be hair care, OTC medications, etc. Secondly, the store is poorly staffed. I could be minutes at the counter with no one to help me and when they do I seem to be bothering them. If there is a line there is no one to take a register to reduce the line. On the Pharmacy side, the pharmacists (or those working pharmacy) are not helpful or seem to have an attitude. For example, in consultation on March 22, 2022 I asked the pharmacist what is best remedy to get an ear unclogged from a flight. They told me take an allergy pill. later, I noticed on the shelf and earclogging solution that could be used for just that. Why would she not recommend that? I told her I tried allergy pills and she didn't have any other recommendations. She appeared to not want to help me. The head Pharmacist seems to be the only one who cares and he confided in me that they just cant get the help to support and are told to do more with less. I don't know if this is a growing trend with your stores, but it appears that management at levels above the store level don't understand basic leadership principles. When employees are consistently unhappy, rude to customers or not helpful, it usually points to poor leadership at a hire level. What do I know about leadership? I spent 28 years in the military, recently retired as a Colonel. How you manage and lead people directly reflects on how they handle their job and carry out their customer service responsibilities. If you take care of your employees they will take care of your stores. I recommend you go back and look at the upper level leadership connected to this particular CVS and make some course corrections if you want this store to stay in business. Walgreens, Wegman's and others are nearby and they are your competition.

Desired outcome: Improve your inventory procedures so that stock is available to customers. Develop a plan for leaders on how to lead (not just manage) and take care of employees, empowering them and caring for them so they in turn care for your stores.

Doctor wrote new prescriptions on Monday, had existing prescriptions ready for refill. Ordered refills on my phone, got order conformation, waited from Monday to Wednesday to pickup prescriptions and was told it will be tomorrow before one of my prescriptions will be ready. Excuse was shorthandedness. Has happened more often than not lately. Because CVS is my preferred pharmacy I have to live with it. Will share experience with Insurance company.

CVS Not getting receipts

On March 16th I went to pick up 2 prescriptions as the pharmacy tech rang up my prescriptions at the end of the transaction on the credit card pad I was asked if I wanted a receipt which I did get. Today I went to as I finished my transaction I was asked if I wanted a receipt to which I said yes the receipt didn't print I find out from an employee that Corporate has enacted not giving receipts I'm very upset with this decision. I look forward to getting my receipt so I can check out the extra care bucks and other coupons that I do use especially the extra care bucks. CVS is the only place I know that asks customers if they want their receipt. I hope a lot more people complain about not getting their receipts and that you change the policy.

Desired outcome: That receipts are given after purchases.

CVS Pharmacy

Every other month I have to deal with this situation! My doctor sends my rX electronically too early (and yes I know this is part of the problem too which makes this even sadder) and I have to call cvs myself on the exact day my rX is fillable and remind cvs pharmacy to fill my rX! This is ridiculous and should not be my job! I pay my doctor. I pay cvs pharmacy. And I do almost all of the work. It’s the 21st century and we live electronically but not cvs pharmacy. Shouldn’t the cvs pharmacy have a report/system that runs a fail report for the pharmacist telling them what open rXs they have. I miss days of meds due to this because I’m unaware that the cvs pharmacy I use closes earlier than others…or God forbid I’m busy working and taking care of my family and I forget to call…or I lose track of what day it is. Shouldn’t cvs be responsible for filling my rX when it’s due and then letting me know when to pick it up? This is wrong and clearly not about consumer value.

Desired outcome: For cvs to do the work it’s supposed to do

CVS Trash and garbage at business

The CVS Pharmacy at 4037 Glenwood Rd Decatur Ga has so much trash and garbage behind the store that it looks like a landfill. The customer service has slightly improved and it's tolerable but the trash in the back of the store is unacceptable. It's hard to believe that management haven't seen the trash and had it cleaned up. Please do better for our neighborhood and clean the outside of your establishment. Thank you in advance for your help.

A 20 plus year customer

Desired outcome: Please clean the outside of the store and clean on a regular basis

CVS Pharmacy

I arrived at the Flossmoor CVS pharmacy at 2pm on 3/14/22 and inquired about getting my 2nd shingles vaccine shot. On the window of the inquiry area, there was a sign saying pharmacists take their lunch from 1:30-2:00pm and would not be available during that time. It was already 2pm, so it was past that time. One pharmacy tech looked me up on the computer and found my information. Pharmacy Tech Sondra (or Sandra) said it would be 20 minutes before I could get my shot. She later claimed she said 30 minutes, and argued with me about it loud enough for everyone to hear. When I came back to the window after waiting 20 minutes, Sondra acted like she forgot about me and told the other tech to get me started on the questionnaire that needed to be texted to me. My immediate thought was, "Why wasn't I sent the questionnaire when I inquired at 2pm?" I filled it out and waited an additional 20 minutes before Sondra called me over to give me the vaccine. I complained about how long it was taking, and that's when she launched into how she said 30 minutes instead of the 20 minutes I heard her say. I sat down in the chair and adjusted it about 6 inches from where it was. She rudely told me to move it back so it would be easier for her. She was taking a long time getting the vaccine ready and I asked if she had done it before. She snapped back that she had been doing it for 5 years, and it takes time to prepare the vaccines. She then added that if I didn't want to get the vaccine today, maybe I could come back another time. I told her I wanted to get it done now, since I already waited nearly 40 minutes. Then she sat down, like she was my therapist and basically said she wouldn't give me the vaccine until she knew I was happy. She kept repeating that maybe I should get the shot another time. Finally, I said I was very happy and asked if she was happy. She said, "Good, you're happy and I'm happy." I stayed silent for the rest of the procedure. My belief is that she was having a bad day and was taking it out on a customer. I'm more than 3 times her age, and I can't remember being treated so disrespectfully. Earlier, I watched another pharmacy tech. arguing loudly with an elderly woman who had run out of a prescription, and needed help getting a refill. I spoke up and told the tech she needed to be more respectful to the woman. She told me she would take of it and not to interfere. These CVS pharmacy techs behave as if they are doing you a big favor, when they should be happy you're bringing them business. The way it is now, it's the "tail wagging the dog" as far as respectful customer service goes. The service is so much better at the CVS on LaGrange Road. Maybe you can send these techs there for some much-needed training. Please follow up on the complaint with them and with me. Thank you. Mark Burda

Desired outcome: I would like to know that management has read my complaint.
