Treatment by manager
I went into my usual store stor#1545 and purchased a $ 31.49 Ensure which on my reciept says its food, I had a coupon from CVS for 5.00 off any food item. The cashier said the coupon does not work because its not food when I pointed out that on the receipt it clearly said food. S refused to honor the coupon, I asked for another Manager to have a look at it, she reached around to a other Manager standing there and she just told me that the coupon dosen't work because it not the right kind of food. I was made to feel like I was a thief trying to pull a fast one. As there was a line it was extremely embarassing. The Manager/cashier # 1995226 stor # 1545. I spend thousands of dollars over the years with CVS and this has left me with a bitter feeling towards the company. Thanks, Daniel Larkin
Wow, my Ensure can be a meal, just as Glucerna and other dietary products. That was u nfair, after all Ensure is NOT by prescription, she could have let you had that!
rx for olmesartan medoxomil
On February 8, 2022 my husband had a prescription filled for olmesartan medoxomil. He is suppose to be taking 5 mg daily. The bottle my husband was taking was for 20mg and is said he should take .5 or 10 mg of the bottle he was given. My husband is 75 years old and he is not having any problem understanding information but in my opinion he was not only give the wrong doseage but the .5 instead of take 1/2 tablet per day was very confusing.
When he went to have the prescription filled they said he couldn't get a refill until after april 17th. So my husband is going a week without blood medication.
When I went to the pharmacy and explained to them what happened the pharmacist told me to call the doctor. My husband goes to Johns Hopkins for his primary and I feel sure it was the pharmacy and not the doctors office that made this mistake. I am now trying to get my husband blood pressure medication for the next week and am having trouble getting it. We previously went to Walmart to have our prescriptions filled and the pharmacist checked with the customers every time to make sure they understood what medication they were taking and how to take it. I would have expected better of cvs. i suppose we will have to change pharmacies again and we will certainly not recommend cvs to any friends or family. The CVS in question is located at 2 Compass Rd, Baltimore, MD 21220. I woud appreciate a response.
Desired outcome: They should be more careful in the future and take responsible for their mistakes.
It's literally CVS policy to deny, discriminate against disabled, women, Jews, Muslims etc.
I have been a customer of the CVS in Target at 6925
W 38 St. since it opened and have had no problems until September of 2021 when the managing pharmacist left. Since then the pharmacy has been poorly run without a permanent pharmacist and without regular help. Problems to numerous to mention but the worst visit was today when Michael Abdou the floating pharmacist was not only rude but did not have one prescription ready and another that was filled but could not be found (while I had received two messages that the prescriptions were filled.) He stated the order would be filled a couple hours later and when I asked if I would have to come back then; he responded that I would instead of offering to fill it while I waited. When I returned and stated how disappointed I was with this store and that my husband had all his prescription sent to another CVS because of difficulties here and that it would have been nice had he offered to fill it while I waited he then said HE WOULD NOT FILL MY PERSCRIPTIONS IN THE FUTURE. I was astonished and asked him if he had heard of "the customer is always right" and he stated "The customer is NOT always right" I'm still in shock and cant believe
I was treated in such a manner. This certainly is not good customer service and
this gentleman should not be working with the public with such a bad attitude!
That's precisely why he was hired! To discriminate against women.
Hired a bouncer for Muslims at 4627 N. Main Columbia SC.
The pharmacists literally hired a bouncer "Karen" and after the pharmacist lectured me on what I needed while my Doctor prescribed it! THREE TIMES IN THREE MONTHS SENT IN RX LIST TO FILL! This Karen literally was infected with Covid. I'm Vaxxed and Boosted and I hope she has horrid dreams about her behaviour and I have peace. Alhamdulilla. Ick. My spelling...

I work for CVS and this store is horrible. In the last 2 Months they told me they don't answer the phone. Therefore if you have an RX that can't be filled on the computer, you have to go in wait an hour in line and ask for a refill. Then come back and wait again. Numerous people in line complaining. Also drive thru closed due to no help. Now I am elderly and can't stand in line so have to lean on something. I leaned on the shelves. Everything is covered in a thick layer of dust and the shelves are filthy. I had dirt all over my shirt and pants when I left. Hate to do it but having to change pharmacies to one much farther away.
Desired outcome: Just making you aware of this disgraceful store.
up until 2016, my local CVS pharmacy, was great. People were pleasant, efficient, and professional. (some still are) BUt suddenly they began to do some "slippery" unenthical things( Ihave legal issues) and apparently the word has spread because my treatment ishorrible. They(CVS) has lied about prescriptions I have, and have not had, they don't answer their phone, much either. I just can't believe all the complaints people were writing about until some of it started happening to me! Lookng for another pharmacy, but nothing is close.
Pharmacy: Prescription
I went into the Pharmacy at 1401 Ben Sawyer Boulevard, Mt. Pleasant, SC. 29464 today at approximately 10:30 a.m. EST. I requested a prescription be filled for Carvedilol which is critical to my health. I was told to come back in 25 minutes to pick up the prescription. When I returned 30 minutes later the technician that had said she would fill my prescription was not behind the counter. The only person behind the counter was Tara. Tara told me she had just transferred my prescription to Amazon. Tara was right next to the technician when I originally came into CVS. Tara knew I was coming back to pick up the prescription and yet she still transferred the prescription. I told Tara that I need my medication now. That my health depended on the medication. I asked Tara if she could provide me with a 2 day supply in the interim. Tara refused. Tara said she was the only person in the pharmacy and did not have time to deal with me. Tara knew exactly what she was doing when she transferred the prescription. Tara was rude, obstinate, unprofessional and should in no way be involved with anything to do with healthcare. Tara is either simply not bright enough to understand the importance of the medication or she is simply indifferent to the care of the people that rely on their prescriptions from CVS which is exactly why I have to seek other means to get my medication. I will also be contacting my Doctor's office to see what they are able to do to stop allowing this branch of CVS to receive prescriptions from their office. I will also be filing a complaint under the FDA's Medwatch program as well as complaints with The Joint Commission which is obliged to act where breaches of quality have been identified. I will also be filing a complaint with State Boards of Pharmacy who ensure that licensed professionals retain a consistent standard throughout their careers. Tara displayed a total lack of disregard for my health and by virtue of representing CVS sent a clear message that CVS doesn't care either.
Desired outcome: I would like written proof that Tara has been reprimanded for her conduct. I would like to know what CVS will do to avoid a patient's life being put in jeopardy as mine has been put in today.
Prescription pickup
This involves the CVS pharmacy on Rte. 45 in Third Lake, Il. Upon reaching the pickup window at 1:40 PM on Sunday, 4/10/22, I saw a sign that the pharmacy was closed for lunch until 1:30 and would be opened at 2:00. While I waited, five other cars came and left after seeing the sign. This is unacceptable management and customer service. It is no wonder that this pharmacy has only two stars and is working downward.

After receiving a message that my prescription was ready for pickup, I had one of the worst experiences ever when I visited CVS Pharmacy, 401 Highway 12, Starkville, MS. Although there were no other customers waiting in the Pick-Up area and the pharmacy staff was well aware of my presence (being that several members actually looked at me, one with seemingly a smirk on her face) I waited over 10 minutes for assistance or even acknowledgement. Actually, during that time, two other people came into the Drop Off area and were helped before me.
It has been over a month since my CVS experience and I have yet to receive a survey, which causes me to believe that CVS management and Corporate Office are well aware of the behavior.
Desired outcome: Surveys could be sent to customers after their pharmacy visits, which may help in deterring that type of behavior. Regardless, it is my intent to change pharmacies--the decision that I made during my over 10 minutes of waiting.
Poor customer service
I was in the store earlier browsing for a few items when an older male staff member asked in a gruff tone if there was anything he could help me find. This tone was unnecessary and lacked manners. When I told him what I needed, he told me, in another gruff tone, that the item was to my left. He never bothered to look at me or make any sort of eye contact...

April 8, friday around 1;30 pm I I was waiting at the drive up window to pick up my prescription. There was a car ahead of me. This car took about 15 minutes for its transaction and drove away. When my turn came up your employee told me the pick up window is now closed for lunch! Why did your company make your customers wait then wave good bye to eat their lunch? I wasted 20 minutes of my time. Your website says open 24 hours for prescription! False advertisement! If you want to take a lunch break you must post the hour of lunch break visibly to the customer and stop your false advertisement! This store had a lovely and energetic lady as a manager. I bet she is no longer there this cvs in question is located at the corner of transcontinentsl and west esplande in metairie, louisiana. I have another complaint for cvs located at the corner of cleary avenue and west napoleon. I will use another space.
Desired outcome: I want the store’s reply on this incident and how they are going to handle Their lunch hour solution in a future.
On April 7th I took a Uber from my home to CVS located at the corner of Cleary Avenue and West Napoleon in Metairie, Louisiana. I no longer drive as I have a trouble with my right leg. When I enter this CVS store there was no shopping cart inside. So I went outside looking for the shopping cart. There was NONE.
Inside of the store I saw only one cashier who was busy with queued up customers. So I walked with much difficulties to the back of the store asking for the shopping cart. I was told ALL-carts were STOLEN. This store must display at the entrance door that no carts are available ahead of time. So that handicapped customers or customers with the baby can go to another place where the carts would be available, This store lacks problem solving techniques!
This experience and today’s bad experience at another CVS store are not coincidental. I suspect something is going on at CVS headquarters. Maybe they want to sell CVS to another company? Or they want to reduce the number of the stores? Worst customer experiences I have encountered TWO DAYS in a row!1.PLEASE read my other complaint as well.
Pharmacy service
Hello, I am contacting you because the pharmacy received my prescription refill over a month ago and initially the medication was on back order, so I have been waiting for it to become in stock. A friend of mine has theirs called in yesterday and his has already been filled. I have called the pharmacy 5 times today. I called at 1:25pm and they answered...

Went to pick up prescription at long grove il CVS on 4/8/22. It was called in 2 hours before I went to pick up. Went inside to pick up. Pharmacist was helping people fill out medical forms to get a shot. Other lady was taking care of drive thru. She finished up then I asked for help. She put info in so I could get prescription. She stated the pharmacist had to ok the prescription and it would be 3 or 4 minutes I would have to wait. The pharmacist was filling out medical forms and it would be longer than that. I left and said I would come back. Stopped and talked to manager at the store and he said they opened at 9:00 am I said what does that have to do with me having to wait for prescription, It was 12:00 now. Twenty minutes later I went back to store using drive thru. I was told again it would be 3 or 4 minutes before could get the prescription. I said again? the pharmacist came with prescription and basically thru the prescription at me after I paid. Rude pharmacist that should not be dealing with people.
Desired outcome: You need to get more help at the store or replace the rude pharmacist
Pharmacist Rude Behavior
Serious concern with a pharmacist Ms. Mymoon Mohsin working at CVS store #8902.
I went with a prescription for durable medical equipment. During the purchase process, I needed to consult the pharmacist. Ms. Mymoon Mohsin was behind the desk so I asked “Are you the Pharmacist, I need to talk to you”.
Ms Mymoon Mohsin, took my request as offensive and demonstrated a very disappointing facial reaction. She said she did not like the way I talked to her. On further conversation, she said I am intimidating her and she was not feeling safe. Ms. Mymoon Mohsin was wearing a headscarf and to me appeared to play the racial/ethnic card to her advantage and threatened me of potential escalation of calling Cops. I am requesting CVS management to Reprimand Ms Mymoon Mohsin for unprofessional interaction with customer and attempt to bring her race, play her race card to intimidate the customer.
Ms Mymoon Mohsin if not reprimanded is a liability for CVS.
Desired outcome: Reprimand her for unprofessional behavior and to stop playing reverse race card to her advantage to threaten customer
Covid 19 booster shot
On April 6th, I went to take a second booster shot at CVS/Target 325 New Byhalia Rd, Collierville, TN 38017. I had my first Pfizer booster at this location four months back, and my vaccine card was on the phone. The pharmacist refused to give me a shot since I didn't have a physical card with me. She could find my earlier covid 19 shot records in her computer but insisted on a physical vaccine card that I didn't have.

Good morning, I just found out that my CVS (Store #8756) is closing in May. There is another CVS (Store #3170) that is 2 blocks away. However, I'm sure that you don't visit these stores. So, I wanted you to know the Store #2170 is dirty, disorganized stores and the employees are hard to find and ignorant. This is a 24 hours that I avoid at all costs. I find...

Date: 01/25/22
CVS: Location 301Central street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475
Problem/ issue:
Vaccine Administrator at this cvs location for my first covid 19 and flu shot vaccine did NOT sterilize or clean the area of my skin prior to administering both my vaccine shots on this day during my appointment I believe was at 10 am. Her description: She told me her name was Maria, she had big eyes, medium to larger built. The second shot I had for my covid 19 vaccine about 2 weeks later on 02/15/22, I confirmed with the lady whom gave me my shot that day that the area was suppose to be cleaned and I let her know that my last shots that the lady never did it and she did not seem to care nor point me to any manager to complain. I also requested to see my needle come out of package and asked to see the identification on the vaccine that she was going to distribute to me the second visit because of the lack of professionalism from the first visit, she did this but after opening needle in front of me and taking the vaccine out of canister she then told me that she forgot the top of the needle in the back and left for the back room with my already made vaccine. My main concern is the unsafe practices during my visit and would caution anyone else whom goes here. I thought that was odd and unprofessional and sketchy. I then requested she do the whole process again in front of me and she then did. In addition toward the end of my visit she was speaking with another pharmacist and was making very odd comments that weren't needed, and drinking beverages while working with me. Very sketchy pharmacist and the vibe there. I would look into this locations operation 100%.
Desired outcome: People involved held accountable and CVS should really look into location and the conduct of the employees.
Pharmacy error
On 2/27/22 I went to my local CVS STORE # 07881 for first dose of shingles vaccine. Clerk told me she tried various ways to submit to insurance and it would not go through. I paid out of pocket 203.78. I later called insurance company (Medicare) and was told that the drugstore had erroneously submitted it as a "request and cancel" meaning the shot was never given. The shot is covered by my insurance but the pharmacy manager, Jessica Tamaiev, today told me that they could not re submit to the insurance as I paid out of pocket even though it was their error. Also the vaccine does not appear on my cvs online vaccination record although Ms. Tamaiev told me it would. She printed a page that has some information on it but has new price of 211.99. It does not have the lot number of the injection as is recorded on other vaccine records. I would like this.
Please advise as this has been dragging on and the local CVS manager is both very rude and unhelpful.

Fix the problem and an apology
Never answer the phone when customer call Pharmacy. Have called a number of times and wait for someone to pick up over 45 minutes and still get no one to pick up. Tried for 4 hours and never get anyone to answer. I also tried by calling the line for hospital or from a doctors office and get no answer most of the time. If someone answers that line they will...

I briefly had my prescriptions at the owatonna target store. Very disorganized andthe pharmacist lied to me. When I needed them to transfer the prescriptions, they did not even send all them poor customer service and did not know how to process the prescriptions right! Oh when you do a survey, they do not call you like they say are.
Desired outcome: None needed people need to know about the bad service we have received.
Pharmacists at CVS on Madison Avenue, Mankato, MN
Don't expect to be able to talk with your pharmacist over the phone. They blow off their phone calls or just aren't there. You can wait for 15+minutes on the phone to no avail. Answering their pharmacy phone to talk to their clients/patients in person apparently isn't in their job description. Sad & uncalled for. Where is the management oversight?
Desired outcome: None. I'll not shop at CVS anymore for anything.
