To whom it may concern,
Today, I had conversation with Franklin, the co owner at the crunch in Killeen.
I was very alarmed that he would have this type of conversation with me.
He told me on my way out the door, that I had two choices, but then only provided me with one real option- to come work out alone for a week and threatened me with kicking me out of the gym.
I signed a contract that did not stipulate I can not work out with friends or family. In fact, I see couples and trios more frequently than I do people working out alone. So does this mean that I pay full price for a membership that excludes me being work out with friends and family?
I firmly believe this was solely due to me being a woman. Had I been a man, in shape with my friends, this conversation wouldn't have taken place. I asked him why. He said it was

I would like to mention that franklin also acknowledged that I have brought at least ten people to the gym in a month, because I like the facility. And he also said he did not want to lose me as a member, yet he felt like this was his only concession due to his superiors. Some of the members I have brought to crunch are professional athletes as well. I am bringing in more people than some of the current employees. Why would you want to eliminate a member that supports the gym on this level?
After I had this conversation today with Franklin, I do not feel comfortable coming to the gym with my family or myself. There are many people that work out together at the gym.
A trainer has a whole schedule. I come in two or three times a week, with the same person, whom is my boss and we work across the street at signature care. I have never had a desire to train people, although Franklin offered me a position to train in the future. Which made me wonder why are all of these conversations even being had about me.
This was a slap in my face. I am a professional athlete. I am a massage therapist, a special education advocate. I work out with people because I enjoy their company. It is therapeutic for all of us. I have a masters degree in psychology, but I don't need any of that to see clearly what this is.
When I spoke to him again, he would not provide me with any more information to contact corporate for a complaint because he insisted I was attacking his livelihood. So I had to find this email contact myself, after waiting four hours for him to call me back.
If at all possible, would someone be willing to call me and discuss in detail the contract i signed with my membership, as to none of these stipulations being announced.

My name is Angela Franco, I'm a member at the Fall River location. I'm writing you to have my membership canceled and get a refund on my remaining training sessions. I only opened a membership there to train with Justin Simmons, a couple months back he reduced his hours which didn't work with my schedule and now he is no longer with the company. I have no desire to train with anyone else especially being that my work schedule doesn't allow me to be there without my son as well as I'm moving to Georgia as of January 1st. I will no longer be able to even use my membership in Georgia since there are no locations local to where I'll be living. I have tried contacting the Fall River location and either been told the manager is not in and today I had gone in in person and was told they were in a meeting and couldn't speak with me for at least 20 minutes. I was a member of crunch fitness in Woodbridge nj for a long time. I contacted manager jose from this location because unfortunately, I was injured and just had major back surgery. He promised me he would cancel my membership (which he finally did after almost 5 months of emails back and forth) I was promised by this manager he would refund me one monthly fee and one yearly fee, since he promised to cancel my membership for so long, I was charged a yearly fee. I have emails going back and forth with this manager and promised refund and will gladly supply all emails to whomever needs to see them. I just had surgery and do NOT need this aggravation. This manager is horrible. He continues to promise me my refunds and never does. Enough is enough. I have emails for proof and will be contacting the BBB. Hi My name is Julia Hakanen and I go to the Crunch fitness at the San Dimas, CA location. I've been a member for 3 years now and this is the first time I felt like I am being attacked by an employee. I recently got a rude text message from one of the employee saying that "don't come back to the gym anymore" and "every employee at the gym thinks you're insane and crazy."
