Not asking for free food! Just edible food! Stopped at the Burnet chicken express ordered fish combo, took over 25 minutes to get my meal! Left the lot, started driving home, decided to eat my meal, thinking it would be hot! Very frustrating my okra was partially cold few pieces, warm, my hush puppies were like they had sit there all day very hard could not bite into them actually thought I chipped my tooth! The fish was like trying to bite into a piece of cardboard, and that is no exaggeration! I have been to the Fredericksburg chicken express numerous times, every meal I’ve ever gotten, there was fabulous! Their fish combo is superb! Burnet needs to go take lessons from the Fredericksburg location, as it would be nice if I could have a place to stop on my way home that had as good as food as Fredericksburg chicken express! I never make reviews but I was so disappointed after giving this location a second chance thinking the first was just a bad day, but to find out it was worse than the first time! Five cars in line 20 to 25 minutes to get a meal, they did bring me my tea, Ordered ice tea and did not hardly have any ice! So disappointing I hope someone will go train this group, I know it’s almost the only place to have fast food chicken in that town! Don’t ruin the name for chicken express Burnet group, go get trained!

I went into a location and ordered COMBO #2 with mashed potatoes and a biscuit and large coke and also 3 pieces of chicken dark. What I got was cold tenders and cold mashed potatoes and a biscuit that was smashed and wet. The 3 pieces of chicken were cold as well. So, I spent $23.50 on cold food. This is ridiculous. Another thing is I had to pay $1.00 more because the business is so cheap that the business makes the customer pay for the merchant fee at the register. The customer really has no choice but to pay for the $1.00 fee because, like me, I had no cash. And then on top of that, the food was cold and soggy. The location of this Chicken Express is 301 E 8th St, Odessa, TX 79761.
What makes this worse is that the manger was the one who prepared my order. Seems like most of the fast food places in Odessa try to cut corners at the customer's expense.

so I go into Chicken Express and clear springs,tx granite I’m giving them another shot to rectify themselves. I ordered 20 piece tenders, regular and ordered green beans and french fries. I also ordered 3pc fish with mashed potatoes and gravy hush puppies and a 32 ounce drink now this is probably the 10th time I’ve gone there I get home to find some thing is missing. I’ve been overcharged as it is in America as we all struggle with the high prices of food from the grocery store and from fast food and restaurants, the climbing prices and the lack of attention to orders being placed and paid for with money that we are already struggling to keep up with the changes in America we don’t get half the food that we asked for. There’s always some thing missing every single trip. The sad part is that for $62.75. It can only feed approximately 3 people in our household. and for getting to put items that we paid for in the bags, we get home to discover that they are not there who wants to drive back each and every time to go pick up a gravy or green beans or side of chicken who I don’t know what you pay them but I’m not gonna go there anymore. I’ve tried and I’ve tried to resolve these problems locally the only thing they ever want to do is just give you a freebie. I don’t want a freebie I want the order to be correct and the prices are so high it’s disgusting $62.75 for basically a half a meal that we drove to get that we waited for and things are missing. On April 14th, 2023 at 2:58 p.m. I ordered a two-piece dark lunch and a three-piece dark and when I got home the chicken was very pink inside it was not fully done.

The line was very long there was a long wait and the person at the drive-thru window seemed very edgy.

The drive-thru order number was number 163.

Normally when I go visit after 5:00 p.m. there are better Cooks there and there's no problem with your food.

Yesterday 3/23/23 in Anna, Tx at the location on White St I ordered Okra, as I was chewing I noticed it was tough, I though it was burnt because I trusted them. Swallowed some and felt something poke my throat. I started choking and spit it in my hand and it was wood. I called the company no help. I will be seeking medical assistance and legal advice about how to proceed. I took a photo and saved the evidence. I have a photo upon request having uploading issues but I have it.

They try to not serve you a drink with a combo. Tonight (3/23/23 8:26PM) I try and order an extra item with combo and I’m told I don’t get a drink then and I still pay extra and same price for combo.

There also seems to always be confusion and wrong orders coming out. Some days the food is super undesirable but there’s not many other places to eat

I use to be able to get a #13, not on menu but everyone knew what it was. Surf and turf…why take it off? Why can’t I get a family fish filet and chicken tenders? You sell both products, why not make things easy and less expensive? It’s insane how much it cost to add a fish filet to a chicken tender family meal. Put it on the menu, and leave it!

. We ordered 2- 7 piece chicken tenders with Mashed potatoes and corn nuggets and 2- orders of liver and gizzards, family sized cole slaw with mashed potatoes and corn nuggets and 8 piece hot wings and 4 cherry pies. we received 2 order of 4 tenders with corn nuggets 1 order of ;ivers and gizzards and 2 cherry pies. When you spend over $50 you expect the order to be right. We live over 30 minutes away from this Shawnee location. We love your food but this was an awful experience.
