Chicken Express Food missing from order rude personal not just once but 3 times.

I usually go to the chicken express in college but attended meetings in the city of Bryan Texas ordering was a problem due to so much noise with employees laughing and chatting about personal issues. Finally placed order. After returning to office the order was not mine. Had nothing I ordered. Reported to “ manager “over the phone was put on hold and phone hung up.

Chicken Express Refuse to serve customers after a certain time

The chicken express in Alvarado tx will not take orders over the phone after 8:30pm due to them not wanting to cook more food when it's close to quitting time. Every single time I try to order I never can get anyone on the phone although I'm sitting in the parking lot watching them horseplay and run around the store as I'm calling. I let it ring about 100 times and still no answer.. this is very unprofessional and not appreciated. I order gizzards and there is a 12 minute wait so I rather call my order In and it's usually ready by the time I run to the gas station. But they just won't answer

Chicken Express The chicken combos

Let me preface saying i love chicken express. My fiancée and i ordered two spicy tender combos last night on 12/19 from the 9095 Custer Rd, Plano, TX 75025 store. We ordered at like 7:30 pm. The chicken we received was luke warm. We ate it anyway. Within two hours, violent horrifying debilitating food poisoning, i throw up once a decade and I couldn’t stop vomiting. Trying to spare yall the details. I’ll never eat chicken express again which makes me sad but that’s how debilitating this was. My fiancée and I are still in bed, considering going to the urgent care/ER for an IV 14 hours later. We are getting married in 3 weeks and my fiancées bridal portraits are tomorrow and she’s being forced to cancel. Reach out to my email at [protected]@gmail.com

Claimed loss: We lost the $ we spent on dinner, my finances bridal portraits are being cancelled and that’s priceless. Due to holidays there is no available reshoot time. We are devastated

Chicken Express Service and food and drink

I ordered 20 pieces of chicken tenders with 3 sides and 2 drinks and the cashiers told me order and I paid her then she told me that I could of used the special that they were having, so I asked can I still use it and she said that she would have to ask the manager. The manager came and told because the sale already went through she couldn’t do anything about it. That I would have to use the special next time.

I went to get my drink which was unsweetened tea and it ran out. I had to tell them that the unsweetened tea was out.

The manager packed my order and on the way to the counter she drops it because the handle of the bag broke because she put to much weight in the bag and looked at me and said it didn’t touch the floor, so she picked up the food and put it in two bags and gave it to me.

I got home and found out that tea that was supposed to be unsweet was half and half and the spicy chicken was overly cooked. The container mashed potatoes was broken.

Chicken Express Chicken wings ordered

On Nov 11 my family made three orders. My order specifically was hot wings. I went to explain that I was given popcorn chicken instead. The "manager" took the popcorn chicken and return chicken wings; not hot wings. Anyway, his professional ways were very poor. I had also told him I wanted a dip but he told me that would be $.50 more. The other thing was they didn't let me have a military discount. I have eaten at the restaurant in Moore, Ok many times without this problem.

Desired outcome: To let me have the right meal and not try to charge me extra for dips. I would like to be in a way to reimburse my military discount. The supervisor was obserd and needs to be replaced.

Chicken Express Poor customer service

I arrive and placed my order. Another customer came in after I placed my order and placed his. I waited approximately 15 minutes and the customer who placed his order after I did received an order. I asked where my order was and the gentleman assured me that the customer who received an order had been waiting awhile and that he ordered before I did. I waited another 5-10 minutes and was given an order. I drove home and to my surprise was given the wrong order. I drove back to chicken express and informed the gentleman I was given the wrong order. They discovered that they gave my order to the gentleman that ordered after me. I asked for my money back and that they compensate for my trouble that they put me through and they refused. And the order I returned was tossed in the trash in front of me. One worker actually told them that this was not my fault but the fault of the workers. I just do not understand why I was not compensated in some way.

Chicken Express Messed up order

I went tonight 11/8/23 to my local chicken express ordered a 7 piece spicy tender with okra and mash potatoes. A 4 piece spicy tender with okra and mash potatoes and a 2 piece with okra.

The spicy tenders were dry and hard. We did not receive any gravy for our order. And we never received the okra for the 2 piece. The food wasn't fresh and was horrible.

Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a refund or my order replaced.

Chicken Express Food and service

We had stopped in to eat at the Chicken Express in San Angelo, Texas. We do stop in often to grab a drink in the drive through and/or occasionally eat in. First, we stopped in on 11/01/2023 to eat a bite and had ordered two, 4 pc. chicken tender baskets with biscuits. The biscuits were like hockey pucks and so hard we couldn’t eat them. They had shrunk to half size as if they were re-heated for two days straight. Second, the young man working the register with the pink streaks in his hair was a smart [protected]@$ and came close to getting himself realigned for the comment made! We had notified the cashier that their music kept looping the same ridiculous song for a hour, the whole time we were in the lobby area eating. The young man then says “Really” in a derogatory manner. It appeared quite obvious that other people had had enough as well.

I wound not waste my time at this Chicken Express store here, unless you want nasty food and children working inside that couldn’t care less!

Claimed loss: $25.00

Desired outcome: We’d like a refund and they need to get decent help in the store!

Chicken Express Customer service and management

On Thursday, October 19th, I went through the chicken express drive-thru in Comanche, Texas. I do not go very often due to the high prices. A female was working the drive-thru and I ordered through the intercom. I ordered a number 2 (seven piece tenders, french fries, 1 roll, large sweet tea), and a number 3 (3 piece which I ordered all drumsticks, mashed potatoes, 1 roll, large sweet tea) as well as a family order of cheese sticks with ranch. It ended up being $32 and some change. I received my 2 teas, and finally my order. I live out of town. When I got home and opened my boxes, I had gotten a 4 piece tenders with french fries and a hard biscuit, and a 3 piece assorted (not even 1 drumstick) french fries and a hard biscuit. Never received the cheese sticks. I called and spoke to a manager named William. I explained what I ordered, and what I received. He was polite and asked if I lived close. When I told him no, he took my name and information, said to come by next time I am in town and he will give me the order correctly. I told him I would be by after 4pm the next day.

On Friday, October 20th, I went back through the drive-thru in Comanche, Texas as I had said I would. I told the girl at the intercom my name and that I spoke with the manager the day before about my order. A male came over the intercom saying my name was not written down and to pull over while he calls the other manager. I pulled over and sat out there for over 20 minutes with no one contacting me or coming out. I called into the store and asked a man, whose was also a manager named Chris (do not know spelling) if he got a hold of the other manager. He never called. He told me my name was never written down, that I was only getting the missing cheese sticks, that he was the one that took my order and filled it, and he knows it was right. He also proceeded to tell me that I am a constant problem, that they always have issues with me. Which is not true. I left without my missing order, or anything fixed. I called later asking for the other manager, who was not there yet. I then tried calling for a third time, Chris answered the phone, when I asked for William, you can hear him in the background laughing, saying it is her, and mouthing about me to William as he hands him the phone. I told him that I don't appreciate being treated this way, and that this is unprofessional and not how you treat paying customers.

Desired outcome: I request my order correctly, I request a refund, an apology, the manager Chris does not deserve to be a manager and should be reprimanded. There should also be a place to file a complaint.

Chicken Express Charging for condiments - rude staff

The Weatherford Texas Chicken Express just lost a long time loyal customer. I ordered a 3 piece catfish combo today for lunch. Their prices are really high for this item but I pay it because it's good. I asked for 3 tarter sauce packets and only got two. When I reminded the clerk she told me they charge for them. I've been eating at this location and others for years and always order the same thing. 3 fish, 3 tarter sauce packets. I asked if they were willing to lose a longtime loyal customer over 25 cents, it's the principal of the matter. I was told it is my choice. I replied that no, it's your choice. You choose to lose a loyal repeat customer that's willing to spend 14 bucks for fast food. All over 25 cents. Then the young man who walked up and was standing beside the female clerk said "YEP!" I made them take their food back and give me a full refund!

I'll never set foot in another chicken express!

Desired outcome: Absorb cost of customary condiments instead of nickle and diming your customers!

Chicken Express Rude drive thru employee and horrible quality food

The staffs rude comments to my sister when a simple question was asked.. Was meet with a snappy attitude saying how is she supposed to know she only works the window... Then after my sister spends $70.00 with yall we get home and the chicken is very tough old and dry the macaroni and cheese tasted awful and the gravy was very watery. I tried calling the store to speak to management four times it just rang and rang no pick up Today was picked for my wife birthday she loves yalls chicken it was supposed to be a nice family meal with my daughter wife and sister and it ended up being a terrible meal that started off with rude service which should- of been a red flag but i went ahead got the food spent $70.34 and it turned out to be just as bad as the service i received when i simply was asking if the ranch was in the bag and got a reply of how should i know i just work the window

Desired outcome: i would like for my meal to either be refunded or at least comped

Chicken Express Product not delivered.

Ordered 2 piece cat fish. Trans action number is #283067 Service person had me move up out of line to let one customer to buy their meal. They said my meal would be right out, Waited 20 min. and no meal. Backed up to fine two young female employees eating their own meal. Asked if my meal was ready and they scurried around and realized they they did not have mine in the frier. I asked for money back and they got the manager who finally came over and refunded my money I hope. My code is [protected] and amount is $8.97. No one was visiting the store and no traffic. How do you screw up a meal order when there are no customers?

Very disappointed with the location and their customer service! I see this location going down fast and closing up! Good luck to owner!

Chicken Express French fries and roll

I went into Chicken Express in Gun Barrel City, TX on 09/19/2023 @ 12:33pm. My roll was hard and French fries were old. When leaving job and coming back to Chicken Express. The manager wanted to good back and forward with me about why the food was old. Instead on remaking the food and letting it be. I will not return to Chicken Express until you can train your employees on how to address paying customers with respect and dignity. Instead on giving homeless people free food.

Desired outcome: After going back and forward for about 5 minutes, she remade my food.

Chicken Express Customer service and restaurant policies.

My wife and I use to come to this Chicken Express on Davis St. a lot of times a few years ago , the service and the food was good then. We would go on Sunday after church and on Wednesday after bible study. Yesterday ( Sunday 09/10/23) we decided to try this one again. Big Mistake. (1) The prices were higher than the other Chicken Expresses. (2) They charge more for a little lemonade in your tea. I did NOT want an Arnold Palmer, just a little lemonade. (3) You have to spend 10 dollars to get the senior discount. (4) There is an additional charge for using your credit card instead of cash. All of that information is on the receipt after the fact. It also tells you on the receipt that I had a choice. You are correct. I chose NOT TO COME BACK. This location does not need my business. They make enough money. To me the policies at this location are ANTI CUSTOMER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

Desired outcome: Unless some of the policies change, there is nothing you can do. Thanks!!

Chicken Express Cold slaw and chicken tenders

I was at the Chicken Express in Leander tx about 3 pm today. August 28, 2023.

The cold slaw was ruined. It was terrible. The chicken tenders were dry and hard like it had been sitting for hours. I spent $28.00 on this food that wasn’t fit to eat. I’ve bought food here for years but the food continues to get worse. You charge a lot more for your food and it is not worth the increase or the taste of the food. I know food is more expense for the company but why are we the ones to suffer. When we buy your food we expect it to be good. I hope you can solve this for me.

Desired outcome: I would like to have my $28.00 back. That is a lot of money to me and I feel I have wasted it.

Chicken Express Incorrect and missing items packed

I’m 75 years old, and fixed income…

Been using this store location for many years for take out… it seems that customer service is hindered by “Corporate Policies”…

I usually don’t have a problem, but this year, have several times, the incorrect or missing items were found after I get home…

I call, and they say I can come back, but it would cost me gas and time, so the tell me I can get it taken care of next time… But if it is over a week tuff! I do not get the “plastic wear” or plastic bag…

Mgr said it would come out of his paycheck?!? What happened to customer service? Thank You for your concern in this matter..

Chicken Express Post TX Food Order

This is in reference to the Post, TX location.

1. We ordered unsweet tea which was soured upon tasting.

2. We got home to eat our fish (which we waited on for 10 mins) and there was a giant oil soaked fried grasshopper in between the fish. We called the restaurant and they told us to bring the receipt and they would refund us or remake the order. Upon arrival with the receipt the manager said she no longer believed us. They said we needed to go home and get the grasshopper and physically bring it up there. She offered to do nothing until we could find it, which we threw all food and the grasshopper away upon discovery.

We will never be doing business with this location again. For them to say they do not believe us after being told we just needed to bring the receipt and they would refund us is unbelievable. For them to do nothing is unbelievable. Basically calling us liars from discovering something that was in YOUR food. That is disgusting and absolutely poor customer service.

Chicken Express Uncooked chicken too many young kids just standing around doing nothing

I ordered a 3 piece chicken dinner. One leg, thigh and breat with okra. chicken was not cooked left off okra. Too nany teenagers standing around doing nothing I took it back but wouldnt reimburse me because I took one bite out of the chicken leg did give me my okra but was apprehensive, rude and I was getting in the way of their little wrap session going on. none of the employees didnt have name tags and wouldnt give them their names. I wish chicken express would be replaced by popeyes will never go there again and going to to post it on our grnbury neighborhood site

Chicken Express Customer service lacking

We ate at Chicken Express in Midlothian this afternoon. Only 2 of us and it took almost 20 minutes to get our order. We were the only ones dining inside. They had lots of employees and little traffic in drive thru.

When our order was ready the Hispanic employees brought it out and rolled her eyes when we asked for ketchup. This was not the response we were looking for. Of course she denied it when we asked her about it, but we both saw her do it.

She didn't say sorry it took so long to get your order or no problem on the ketchup.

Desired outcome: Need more training. They should be personable and we shouldn't feel like we are putting them out to give us condiments. She didn't asked if we needed anything either.

Waited in drive thru 15-20 min. Food cold white gravy soupie and full of lumps biscuits hard as rocks. Food mostly not eatable.

Since they closed early due holiday I call manager to complain next day. she stated, “if I bring back items they’d replace. #1 that practice against Health Department Food Safety Rules. I’m reporting to proper authorities. #2 I didn’t want to drive back 5 miles to for what I’d attempted as dinner the day before. #3. If they’re suspicious other people lying for food replacement can’t take some business loss they should be in business. Food Credit should’ve been issued or debit credit of food.

This isn’t my 1st experience with franchise selling food that’s unexceptionable.

Desired outcome: Food credit later time.
