Chicken Express Food

In the past year, I have ordered fish at least twice and it was not seasoned. And at least 3 occasions the mashed potatoes were spoiled. On 4 occasions The chicken is hard and seems To have been sitting out a long time. I have complained at least twice to the manager and they have replaced the meals. The wait is long but I was willing to wait before now I'm not so sure it is worth the wait. The restaurant is a bit dirty. The staff is wonderful and they are always friendly.

Chicken Express Store dr-t#395

On 6/15/202 We ordered Ickes o the drive up at the chicken Express at 7104 south bell street. I ordered nicks strip dinner with 4 strips, regular mashed potatoes with gravy, regular okra, and a roll. I got 4 small strips that were over cooked dry and tough, no okra, and mashed potatoes with no gravy. The mashed potatoes were not mixed and about 1/3 of it was still powdered potatoes mix. My wife ordered 2 pieces dark both thighs dinner with double mashed potatoes with gravy and a roll. She got a leg and a thigh with 2 regular mashed potatoes that also were not mixed and had powdered potatoes in them with maybe 1 teaspoon of gravy in each.

The manager and window workers were rude and acted like I was interrupting there day. I live 6 locks from this chicken Express. I have never got an order that was correct. I have ordered fish at 11am and been told that they were sold out to come back the next day. We threw our meal in the trash

I will go to Canyon Texas 20 miles away to get my chicken from Chicken Express.

I owned the Golden Skillet Fried Chicken restaurant n Amarillo for many years ad we never treated our customers like this!

Desired outcome: I want my $$ money back or a gift card to replace my loss

When you do not know the difference between blocks and locks, no wonder your order is always incorrect. They cannot give you a correct order if you ask for the wrong thing by mistake. I hope when you had your own restaurant you never made mistakes. You are not perfect. Since you put locks instead of blocks I am sure you made mistakes. I hope you had intolerable customers like yourself.

Chicken Express Customer service, poor quality food, rude management

My daughter and I went to chicken express in Downtown Tomball. We waited in line for 20 minutes for chicken that was not only old but had a long strand of white hair in it. So I asked the cashier to give me a refund and let me speak to her manager. Cashier leaves and come back and stated, "my manager said we can give you a refund or remake chicken with a 20 minute wait. I told cashier,"can you go and get your manager so I express my complaint". Manager come with nonchalant attitude and says basically the same thing the cashier stated about 20 minutes or refund. I asked the manager for a number to corporate. Manager gives me the corporate number and shuts the window without giving me my refund. I blew the horn to let the cashier know that she didn't issue the refund. Her lips read"this [censored]". I let her know that I read her lips, and at that point she closed the window and told me to have a good day without my refund!

About 10 minutes later the sergeant arrives and gets out with an attitude and states"I don't care what's going on. Move your car so this establishment can resume business" his attitude was very nasty and rude and of course I informed him that the tone of voice that he was using was totally unnecessary. I look up and there's 3 more car loads pulling up with one officer standing with his hand on his taser. Mind you, I never got out of my car, never did anything hostile. This is ridiculous! I'm so pissed about this whole situation. All these police for a box of chicken!

Desired outcome: Money was refunded after 4 car loads of cops came

I wish the "rude" sergeant arrested you in front or your daughter. NO one was rude. You just threw a fit when you did not get your way. A bad example for your daughter.

With your behavior you deserve to have the police called on you. No one was rude to you. You just threw a fit because you did not get your way. What a good role model you are to your child. Too bad you were not arrested in front of your child. That would teach her not to be like you when she grows up.

Chicken Express Food cold

We ordered at 9:15pm and didn't get our order til 10:40pm, and the store closed at 10pm. so food was not fresh. And we had a $10 delivery fee so we expected to be fresh. Or some kind of communication about our order instead of wondering if it was actually being delivered or not. So I would like a refund on my order since it was old and thought it would of been delivered before closing of the store my confirmation number is [protected]

Chicken Express Closing 20 Minutes Early

I visited the McKinney Texas location, June 7, 2021, 9:41pm. I arrived at the drive-thru window at 9:41 pm and was told by the employee that they had closed early, because " they hadn't been busy for 45 minutes." When I asked for their operating hours, I was told, "We close at 10pm, and we're out of chicken anyway." This would not normally be worth my time to file a complaint. However, the order I was going to place was for a family member who works a late shift. I went down the street to your competitor and got her meal from them.

Chicken Express Fish

My husband and I ordered the fish dinners and the fish was VERY salty, EXTREMELY salty, too salty to eat. It was pitiful. There is no reason in the world that anyone should be using this much salt...It was unbearable and I am highly disappointed and disgusted by the amount of salt being used on the fish. Our dinner was a total waste. Fix the problem, because this much salt is definitely a problem...it was enough salt to kill a horse.. geesh

Chicken Express Horrible/rude service.

Whoever was working at 7:30 on 5/22/21 was awful. The man who took our order was nice, the man who gave us our food was not. He did not greet us. another worker in there was cussing and gossiping about someone. The man who gave us our food did not say one word to us and handed our food without even looking at us. Very upset with the service we received.

Chicken Express Employee's at Timberland 76244

I am an Uber Eats driver, probably the friendliest and the employee's at the Chicken Express on Timberland 76244 have become the RUDEST that I have seen at that location thus far. This location goes through multiple employee turnovers, it seems as though every emplyee that works their hates their jobs, what happened to the old crew that was friendly and that would actually get the orders correct. I am also a customer, but I go to a different location now for my family. We as drivers also continued to remain working when the pandemic hit hard and we had customers that kept your employees working, so maybe your employees should be better trained in customer service or get a very strict GM in their and shape these new people up.

Chicken Express Bad service

I went to the drive thru for Chicken Express last at the Lancaster, TX location for late dinner. The lights were out in the dining room so I pulled up to menu board and checked my phone to see what time they closed. I had 45 min so I waited till someone came on to see if they would tell me they were closed. I was advised to pull up. I let the lady know I hadn't ordered she said yes, just pull up. So I did. After sitting there a good 7 minutes. I called the store and let the person know I was in line but I never ordered and was just making sure they knew I had not ordered anything. The lady says yes I am the only one working the drive thru so I asked u to pull up. I said okay no problem just making sure I didn't miss something. (I know I heard talking from the car behind me). As I am patiently waiting a lady comes and brings out food to The Car BEHIND me. On her way back I say excuse me I'm sorry I just don't know what's going on, I still haven't ordered but the people behind me are getting their food. Am I missing something here? She again repeated I am the only one working drive thru and just walked off. I finally get to window and she does everything to avoid me, she walks off twice so I flag the other lady ask to speak to manager. She wants to know why and tell her that everyone has been serviced. The people in front of me. The two people behind me, everyone has their food but I haven't even been able to place my order and I need to talk with someone to find out why. So the manager comes over and now an additional 3 people are somehow working when they haven't even been there working at all and the manager does not talk to me. The girl comes back to the window and says I don't know, do u want something. I ask where's the manager I asked to talk with the manager who is clearly right there but she refuses to talk with me. I was not rude, I was no disrespectful, I was not mean. I was Hungry. How in the world do the two cars behind me have their food and are gone and I can't even order. Why was I picked out and still not given the opportunity to get any food. I asked for a sweet tea so I could have a receipt of the transaction. I was denied the opportunity to order yet they did not hv a problem allowing other people to and upon asking for rectification the manager refused to speak with me. They huddled in front of the tea area and talked amongst themselves. Then proceeded to say byeee. Once I got my tea and was about to drive off. I don't know these people and they don't know me. I don't know what triggered them to act that way towards me but it was uncalled for and unnecessary.

Desired outcome: Apology for wasted time, 27 minutes- no food. Ensure employees on the clock are actually contributing. 3/6 people are working. manager effectively resolves situations

Chicken Express Drive thru service

My name is Richard Alston number is [protected]. I went thru the drive thru in Magnolia Texas on Sunday 5/09 at about 615pm. I ordered a 3 piece fish dinner with extra tater sauce and 4 piece tender dinner and a 2 piece chicken with a roll. When got to window and paid ordered read back to me and I asked again for extra tater sauce and was told by young guy yes have extra tater sauce. When I received order asked if my extra tater sauce was inside and was told again yes it was. Got home no tater sauce at all and no plastic wear for the dinner. I made a call to the store to speak with a woman who said she was one of the managers and I told her of me being upset and she said I am sorry we are working with a young team and hung up on me. The time I am at window the kids inside joking around with each other or looking at phones and not paying attention to the orders. This is my 3 time in a row with having problems with this location with not getting what I request and tired of having to call and complain and say ok next time we will make it up to you. I am not asking to be made up next time I am asking for ever order to be right the first time. Seems you have to many people working a shift at one time if the can joke around and talk with each other instead of paying attention to each order going out. Maybe a quality control person should check ever order going out so at least you will have at least 2 people checking the orders and all with be correct and not so many mistakes. Chick Fil A has at least 2 people checking each order that goes out and they handle double or even triple the amount of customers that Chicken Express handles.

Chicken Express Lied to on phone when calling store

I had called this particular Chicken Express to inquire if there was dine in available since my son and myself have enjoyed some great memories in the couple years after my divorce until Covid hit and locations only did drive thru. When I called this particular location yesterday, April 21, 2021, the gentleman on the phone confirmed that indeed dine in was available. My son was very excited when I picked him up from school and we drove right there. To my amazement and frustration the doors were locked. I called back and he said they were now short staffed and could not do dine in. We have been looking forward to dining in to Chicken Express for over a year now and at this point don't know what will have to happen for a Chicken Express in our area to open up to dine in customers.

Desired outcome: Some sort of insentive to dine in at an area location

Chicken Express I put in an order combo and didn't get what I expected

So I have been buying from Chicken Express in Coppell TX and I get all my orders correct.

But this other place I have been here 3 times and every time I get the order incorrect and now I ordered combo and don't get a drink. So basically I'm supposed to choke on the chicken and fries sorry but no.

Chicken Express Close this store

These people serve food. For whatever reason, neither the person at the register of the cook wear a mask. Every other fast food restaurant requires their employees to wear a mask. They are exposing their customers!

Chicken Express Cold food and very disrespect by immature employee

Visited the chicken express at 2301 W.Berry st in Fort Worth Tx. First off the young lady was very immature and was rushing me at the drive thru line then she forgets my corn nuggets also forgets my gallon of tea so im constantly having to tell her what she keeps forgetting to hand me then everytime I asked for the items she was just laughing with the other employees while I'm there waiting at the window she is shutting the window and tells the other girls things and there all just laughing very immature crew and very disrespectful and the worse customer service ever. I had misplaced my receipt and I just found it. When I got home my Tender family pack were hard and some tenders were burnt and fries cold like if food had been sitting there a good while. Ruined my whole dinner. I'd like the meal replaced or a refund...thanks.

Chicken Express Food

I went to the chicken express on 7113 Boat club road on Thursday at around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday March 11, 2021. I ordered two sweet teas and a 6 piece cheese stick and a combo 2 piece chicken meal and I got two thighs. Let's say the cheese sticks were warm not hot. Like they have been sitting for a while. And the chicken was so bad that it broke one of my teeth and I had to pay a dentist to pull it out. And I had to miss a day of work. So that chicken express will never get my business ever again. That was very bad service. So I hope they plan on giving me all my money I had to put out for this and pay my day of work that I had to miss for this stupid stuff. And it was 8 hours of overtime I missed. If I don't at least get this. I will never go to any chicken express again

Desired outcome: To have my money reimbursed and get my wages paid for having to miss work that was time and a half.

Chicken Express Manager

I placed an order for 25 spicy tenders, I asked if I could have 5 of them regular (not spicy) they complied. Got home order was opposite of what I ordered. Called and the manager goes on to tell me that the employee shouldn't have taken my order that way, and that she's going to have to have a meeting with them about not taking orders like mine again. (For the record this was the first and only time I ever order this way) Anyway, I'm confused because I'm not understanding why she's telling me all this, I'm not one of her employees, I'm just a customer trying to get my order corrected. She then tells me to bring my order back so she can fix it. So I do, mind you this is in the middle of rush hour, plus I had to go through some road work in my area 😒. So I do, when I get there she proceeds to give me the same lecture about this will be the last time I will be allowed to place an order like this again. I'm like fine just fix my order please. I was polite, but I felt she was rude and unprofessional. Never once did I get an apology..

Desired outcome: I just wished she would've just apologized and fixed my order. my orderer.

Chicken Express Disappointing Experience

Very disappointing experience in the drive thru in Waxahachie, TX on 02/11/21. Was told at the window it would be 10 minutes to prepare my fish and was asked to pull forward. After 27 minutes, my ordered was brought to me. Additionally, I was asked if I wanted tarter sauce and I said yes and in fact, could I have a few extra, which they said sure. So after more than 30 minutes waiting for my food, I got home and had no tarter sauce at all. I called the restaurant and spoke with Jackie (said she was a manager), she apologized and said if I bring my receipt on the next visit, she would give me a discount. Basically putting me in a position to carry around the receipt to get $2.00 off for my trouble. Very disappointing from beginning to end!

Chicken Express Service

I went to chicken express today 12/22/2020, store 132 airtex in houston, transaction #170876. Went there for a 2 piece fish person at the register told me to park to the side and they will bring it out to me. I waited and waited almost 35 min and finally I called and ask about my meal cause the doors are lock you cant go inside and the guy said are you the person waiting in the blue truck I said yes been waiting, oh I dont know what happen to your order, I got sooo mad I told them to credit my money back and he told me I was waiting on your fries. For real?. This make the second time this have happen, stop playing around and work.

Chicken Express A order

I was visiting in Durant, Oklahoma and my family and I chose to eat at chicken express. The order wasn't right so I called and spoke to the manager. He said that my order would be fixed I could come at any time to have it replaced. It was getting late and I didnt feel like driving anymore after driving 5 hours and I waited to go. I called as I did the last order and the manager said that my name was not wrote down. He said he believes they would have wrote it down. I would like for the manger to honor what they said to me about being able to fix my order but the manager that is working now will not do so.
