Cell C insurance phone claim - [protected]

This is just crazy, we need to rely on the service provider for answers regarding insurance claims, I have a claim that was submitted not sure if it was received as when I'm following up, trying to call the damn c surance call center, the phone just rings non stop and just hang up. who the hell should assist me with this. the store cant give me a turn around time of my lost claim on a phone as they also struggle to get hold of C Surance.
This is not customer service at all. this is really costing me my business to be without a phone.

Its really frustrating how we gotta be the ones running after this service provider if ever we have a claim. As consumers we are left completely in the dark as to the progress of the claim.

I dont know whether the consultant at the branch even lodged my claim (nothing about it has ever been sent to me. I was only given a certain number written on a piece of paper)

I have no idea as to which stages the claim is on.

Could someone from c surance please call me urgently regarding my claim [protected] .

Very poor service! - I have 3 contracts with Cell C & would strongly reconsider purchasing phones from Cell C in the future as they are aware of the fact that there service provider is providing a poor service - but it seems if nothing is done to rectify the situation.

So I did a claim for my lost phone. The contract has been active for over a year and now your are telling me that the excess fee I have to pay is R2579.40 for a phone valued R4300! What the hell is that. The time I insured the phone you told me about 10% excess fee from the value of the phone and the waiting period was 5 months. Now it's been over a year and my phone gets lost and this is the amount of money I have to pay! Please contact me back and fix this issue before things get bad [protected].

It is really a disgrace how bad the services of c surance is. The phone keep on ringing. How can you wait for a consultant for 20 minutes. They should really improve they customer services our money that we pay monthly is good enough but if you phoning them regarding a claim you receive this [censor] services. Cell C cell phone service and insurance

I booked my phone in for repairs in January 2017 I've bee visiting crest cell c everyweekend for update to my surprise no one could answer where my phone is. I spoke to the manager thandeka who said she took it personally to cell c indurance.when contacting the insurance they advised they cannot help without an IMEI number.this number should have been provided from day one.ive been a client for years and I am very disappointed in the service received I'm going to hello Peter as well to make sure anyone else does not go through the same experience​.!

Cell C cell c poor internet speed in rustenburg

Hi, I use the 200GB data deal in Rustenburg near Waterfall Mall. During peak times speed drops to 0.4mb down and 0.01mb upload. Off peak I get 5mb down and 2mb upload. I installed a 11dBi outdoor antenna with direct line of sight to the tower about 1km away. I have a B315 LTE router. I think this tower is overloaded with to many users and no LTE coverage.

Cell C the legal department is not answering my calls

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Hyron Martins, and I am extremely disappointed in the poor customer service I have received from Cell today.

I called the Cell C Customer Care number on 084 140 earlier today, 26 May 2017, to request a letter stating that my account is up to date and in good standing. I have always paid my account regularly and have never skipped a payment in all my years with Cell C.

I was told to contact the Cell C legal department on [protected] during office hours, because they were the only entity that can email me such a letter.

I subsequently called the Legal department and chose option "4", and was subjected to really annoying music, and eventually I had hung up after waiting for what felt like a lifetime for someone to answer my call.

Not only did I waste my airtime (this was not a free call), but also my valuable time. This is completely unacceptable!

In light of this, I would like someone from your Legal Department to contact me on [protected] or send me an email at martins.[protected]@gmail.com so that I may obtain this letter from you.

I cannot say that I have any faith that anyone would call me back, so I won't hold my breath.

Cell C I need help with a puk code

Hi there, I can't remember when exactly I started using my cell c sim card. last night I try to put it in a new phone and I was asked to put a code but I couldn't remember the exact code that was needed, I put it wrong three, ops my sim card was blocked and its required now a PUK code of which I don't have... Please help me out if you can I will really appreciate your help thanks in advance

Cell C legal department not answering calls

I'm trying to get a hold of Cell C's legal department to settle and allocate funds to the correct account that was settled in May of 2016. Made a payment of about 17k to cancel two contracts. One of the numbers has been settled but the other number the funds were allocated as credit to my account which is currently being used to pay for a smart data contract I currently have with Cell C. I did not authorise them to use that funds for the current account. That will be paid by me monthly. Now I'm getting harrased daily by MBD inc for payments when infact Cell C is sitting with all the money they need. They just need to allocate it to the correct account.

Cell C product/data deals

I am highly disappointed in cell c, I bought the summit phone in February, I was told that once a month I need to recharge with R50 to receive 500 megs of data, yet since then every month I have to phone the branch performing in order for me to receive the data, when I phone the branch the keep saying they will call me back, not once have they contacted me.its it extremely poor service.

The manager at the LA Lucia branch knows about this yet every month its a story because she only sends for that month and hasn't rectified the problem so why must waste my petrol and my time every month this has become an inconvenience now and if after this the problem isn't sorted I will take this matter further ... FYI the number has been emailed.I await your response

Cell C cell phone

I received a call from cellc yesterday 7 months after the contract was settled in full and a cancellation sms was sent to me stating the contract was cancelled . 4 Months after receiving this sms my account was debited with R2400 from an account they had not been deduction from for the duration of the contract details were switched from that account to an fnb account a month after this contract was taken out by the way but for some reason they felt they had the right to debit my account long after accounts were changed and the contract was paid in full . I then received a call from cellc stating there is an outstanding amount a month ago and I asked them where this amount was coming from as they gave me a settlement statement and the amount was paid as per that statement . A debit order went off from my account from cellc in March and I reversed and blocked it as they are in the happing of debiting any of my accounts with amounts I do not know off with no communication when ever they feel like it . Yesterday I received a call from a very rude lady from the contracts department that was even will to hear my side of the story let along investigate on her side based on the pile of references I gave her when this account was settled she just wanted to tell me they have blacklisted me and that they handing the account over...on what grounds I asked as there was no letter no any communication sent thru to me apart from my account that keeps on being debited and every time I call to find out why I am being told to reverse the debit order as it is a mistake on their side. This morning I have been on the phone with 2 different agents and have been transferred back and forth between departments with no assistance. I held the line for the legal department for almost an hour but no one answered I am told their office hours are from 8-5 been on this call from 8:30 trying to get this matter resolved . Cellc stuff is very unprofessional and I refuse to have my credit record dragged thru the mud due to incompetent staff that act like they are doing us a favor by doing their job and cellc as a whole not doing proper investigations before blacklisting and handing people over for ITC ...I expect this matter to be resolved by the end of this month and my name cleared as I will take legal action myself should I still be wrongfully blacklisted .

Cell C 40 gig promo

I recently took out a contract from Cell C for the 40 gig promo they having this month (May 2017) for R299.00.

This was a waste of my time and money, what's the point of having data you cannot use?

When i try using it on Google Play store i get an error about not being able to connect, if i use the net, it takes forever to load, and if i download something, it downloads at 50 kb/s or less...

Thank you Skhumbuzo Ndhlovu for helping with this issue, roaming on Vodacom helped a lot with the network and i am getting excellent speeds when i download.

Also thank you for understanding that for May i hardly used my contract and crediting half on May's amount.

Please cancel my contract, i have emailed and have not received any further feedback since last week, and this is now frustrating.
There's no point in paying for a data contract that cannot use data.

Cell C bad customer service!!!

Yesterday (16/05/2017) my sim stopped working. I took out the battery and sim card and restarted my phone, but it still did not work. I also took my friends sim card and inserted in my phone to see if the problem wasn't my phone, but it worked 100%, when I inserted my sim into his phone, it still did not work. So today I went to CELL C The Grove and the guy told me that I need to do a sim swap and pay R115.00. Why should I pay when it your faulty sim, i never take out my sim and my phone did not fall, so how could you charge me more money? I already pay R500.00 per month on my contract?

What happened to customer service?

I had my MTN sim card for 7 years and nothing like this ever happened. When my contract ends, you are definitely loosing my business.

This is pathetic. STOP chasing money and get a better customer relationship!

I need someone to contact me ASAP

Cell C wrong contract

I took out a new contract on 26 April 2017. When I received my SIM I noticed that the balance of data was incorrect. I've called customer care numerous times asking for them to fix the problem. My first call was on 6 May, I'm still waiting for someone to phone back with answers. This is getting ridiculous now. I provided the consultants name with whom I took out the contract and date. They said they will listen to the recording, how long does it take? Fedup! I have 3 contracts with Cell C, one is due for an upgrade. I doubt I'll be upgrading with Cell C as this is the second time I have had a problem with a new contract. Really poor service.

Myname is Nastassja Jansen, I have a contract with cellc and made my last payment of R370 they requested to open my communication line on the 9th of May 2017, I even sent them the proof of payment as they requested. But I still go sms's saying I did not pay and, im very frusterated by this amd need someone to go into this and investigate whats going on

Cell C I am unable to contact the legal department and they have taken me to the credit bureau for r140

Apparently I was owing R140 to Cell C and they took me to the credit beaureu! I have paid the amount in question and requested the contract be closed!I have been calling the call center every day looking for assistance!I keep being told to contact legal who NEVER respond to phone calls. I am always waiting for 10mins at a time hoping someone will respond! I have paid the amount and now need my name cleared! I called again today and the customer service consultant put me on hold for 5mins!I am absolutely frustrated at how painfull this is over R140. On top of that I see I am still being being billed!The contract was for 24 months it has now been over 3 years and I had requested the cancellation!This is unfair and unethical! I just want to pay the money and close my account and remove my name from the credit beaurau, they have completely ruined my credit worthiness for R140!

Cell C payment not received

My account is on debit order and I have an overdraft facility for the "just encase months". I have since my contract started in March 2016 been informed that my debit order was unsuccessful. Subsequently my service was stopped until i paid it. I have never paid the account, however request the debit order be run again. This usually took to about the 14th on each occasion and no word of a lie the debit order was successful. On this occasion I took it upon myself to help Cell C figure out why this has happened. Note on a transaction amount of 15 times it was unsuccessful 3 times on different dates. Once last year November, then this year March and now again April. Sent them bank statement, funds sufficient, sent them proof there is no stop debit order instruction and sent them sms that states, thanks for payment your account has been credited with...

All and all I think it is a good days work. I am sitting in anticipation for the review and the next challenge Cell C would be giving to me as the customer due to a lack of dedication, understanding, uninformed work force they employee, charging questionable rates for everything they provide. 292 days to the end of this saga. I for one can not wait!

Cell C unauthorised debit

Cell C sent a phone by courier. I did not want the phone and i sent it back unopened. I called consultants and they confirmed that the contracts was cancelled. A few days later Cell C debited R511. I went to the bank to reverse it. They continued to debit for 3months while i always go to reverse it. A few days ago they debited again and even today. Why am i paying for a phone i never used? They even sent 2sim cards both on contract for 1 phone. This is ridiculous, im tired of calling consultants that send me from pillar to post. Im tired of doing bank reversals aswell

He handled my case in a very professional manner and stayed in touch with me regarding my complaint. He just phoned me (as he promised he would this morning) to give me good news. Cell C will be refunding me.

Cell C mobile device died 12 days after warranty

Good day.

I have a Samsung mobile device that died 12 days after the warranty. I took it back to Cell C( Zevenwaght Mall), where they advised me to take it to the Samsung dealer ( Somerset Mall). so I did that, 3 weeks later Samsung told me that the mother board was blown.( sounds like a factory fault). I contacted cell C again and explained to them the situation on which they advised me to bring the device back. when I picked the device up at Samsung they have removed my glass protector. I had to pay R114 for assessment fees. when I arrived at Cell C the manager, without flinging told me they must send it in for repairs.
now I am very confused here. no phone since 15 April 2017 until now( 2017/05/12). so now apparently my phone will remain there for another 21 days. in the meantime I must pay the full amount. and whats worse, the device is not new anymore when it will come back eventually.

Cell C cancelled month to month subscription

Good day
Incident: [protected] logged on the 9th of May 2017 and closed by you without having any contact with me.
Incident: [protected] logged again on the 10th of May 2017
Agreement Number: [removed]
I have cancelled my subscription with you on the 24th of April 2017 – this is for month to month billing with 30 days cancelation notice. I received an sms the same day confirming the cancelation of the subscription on my number [removed], last day 24 May 2017. I received today invoice [removed] for the period 1 May 2017 to 31 May 2017 (not sure why is it showing 31 May 2017 when the date all services are supposed to be cancelled after the 30 days notice I gave you is 24 May 2017. Please advise why this is the case.
Also confirm that this is my last bill as this was NOT sold to me as a 12 month contract but a service that will run month to month with a 30 days notice and you can go and check your recordings you always like to bring up. I have already ported my number to Telkom, because I want nothing to do with Cell C going forward as I mentioned to you when I did the cancelation.

I don't see how the could not get hold of me, I always have my phone with me and have no missed calls from Cell C or messages or written responses. So I don't believe for one moment that any effort was made to get hold of me.

Cell C Paid up letter

I cancelled my contract with cell c on the 18th of march, paid the committed amount of R3424.49 and called cell c a couple of times after paying that amount to find out if there's anything I owe because I knew that I had a missing installment but I was told that I don't owe anything.

On the 25th of April, Cell c tried to debit R3423.39 from my account, which was an amount that was not supposed to be debited since I had already paid that amount in full. When I laid a query about that, I was then told that I owe an amount of R762.68, I paid that amount on Monday 8 may, and then requested a paid up letter that same day since I paid all the amount I owed and also need to apply for credit but I can't since cell c tried to debit a huge amount from my account and also placed my account as "in arrears" on the credit bureau. I have not received the letter till today, when I was told that it's going to take two working days. My life is on hold right now since Cell c does not want to provide me with that letter. I logged countless requests for the letter yet I receive no response whatsoever from Cell c.

On 2021 I paid up the balance that in was owing but cell c didn't send me paid up letter I tried to text them on WhatsApp they not replying to my messages

I am a very unhappy cellc customer. Firstly you guys are bad in Ur service because no one can help me with my queries. You don't deduct on time which makes me go in to an arrears that I'm not even aware of because u failed to communicate...secondly I'm waiting on a paid up letter from u guys for more then 3months nd no one's getting back to me about it...I've called TransUnion over 4times still no response whatsoever.

Had 2 contracts with them , due to covid hit in 2020 iwas retranched at work , I went to the branch to inform them about the Metter n I told them once I get the covid relief fund I'll settle my account only to find out the money wasn't enough for a settlement, well I got an account at wesbank they understood n they never came to take my vehicle , I got a home loan , they never came to take it off nor judgements fokol cell c told me they will hand over my account since then nobody called nor email came through fast forward I got back to work this year I then went to them to tell them I'm back at work i wanna settle my account I was told the account doesn't exist anymore n it has been prescribed, and the law says if an account has been prescribed it must be taken off from your credit profile but instead they putted me under defaults ...I was advised to dispute this , iwouldnt wish someone to go through this ...

Ther are better network consider other once leave cell c

I requested a paid up letter to cell c ermelo branch in mpumalanga , I was told the person who's dealing with paid up letters is nolonger doing them and thers no other alternatives they can do , please can yoall kindly assist

Im johanna from bochum im currently having the same situation iv paid what they said i owe them i emailed them proof of payment, they dont want to talk to me anymore i failed to apply for credit at the bank because of them. I had enough of cell c. I went to the branch the lady shame tried her best to assist but nothing happened. Even now im still waiting in darkness psew im helpless cell c. Paid up letter, they even drop the phones. All i need is a paid up letter or ill follow the legal route maybe they can open their ears.

I'm tired of calling cell c all the time and my call would be transferred to one person to the other, asking for my paid up letter. All they could tell me is that I'll receive it within 7 working hours till I haven't received my paid up letter. When I check on my clear score it says I owe cell c R384 and my contract with cell c got expired, I've also canceled it. Their service is very, very bad. I want my paid up letter
