I have braces and am going through the process of getting an implant. I am at the point of getting a temporary crown put on my implant. I had the implant uncovered and got a healing cap on at a periodontist office and then called Aspen in Fort Gratiot Michigan to set up to have the temporary crown done. I have been with this office for about 14 years and am...

Aspen Dental Paid for permanent partial and only received the temporary

Went to Aspen dental in 2020. Paid for a temporary and permanent partial. I received a notification that my permanent was in after a few months. I went in to get my permanent and they stated that they failed to notate that I was to receive the permanent even though the records showed the amount paid was for the same amount that it costs for the permanent including what I already had done at the time. They even agreed that amount paid was how much it would cost. However, they said since it wasn't on the records to receive the permanent (although paid for) and they had the permanent in that was ordered that they would not let me get it. My father paid for it 100% that day has since passed away and he had to be the one to contest the issue. This is so wrong on so many levels.

Claimed loss: Between $600 to $800

I went to Aspen to have a tooth fixed. They talked me into having all bottom teeth pulled and have dentures. The dentures never fit. They said the swelling of teeth pulled would go down and dentures would fit better. Never happened. Aspen charged me $10,000.00 for dentures that I have never worn. I called and called and it went to voice mail. They did bone...

I have spent thousands of dollars in the past with this company and on, 12/5/23 got a quote to remove a cracked tooth and have a tooth added to my bottom plate all while having two dental insurance plans. So today I called to make an appointment to proceed and I was told I would have to pay 50% of the quoted cost of $1,856.00. I never paid ahead in the past...

On June 5, 2023 I went to Aspen Dental because I need to have a tooth pulled, only one tooth. I had x-rays done of my mouth and teeth. I was told by the dentist that I had cavities under all my crowns and the way to fix that would be to pull my teeth and have dentures made. I didn’t asked to see the x-rays or anything. I took the dentist at her word. I had...

Aspen Dental in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. provided no relief after contracting thrush through there office. I had 4 fillings and an extraction done there and developed thrush about 6 to 8 days later. I followed there instructions for all post op care. Called there office for a follow up visit and have this treated. They wouldn't see me for 3 weeks and when I...

Dear Sirs: To make this short, I'm not paying any more and demand your guarantee policy. If a patient is not satisfied with the total results of denture's overall. I have never been satisfied with any of the procedure's, especially the dentures I had Aspen Dental. I had the at least 6-8 adjustments over the last year. They are still hard to wear without...

I have tried for 3 months to get an upper denture from the Fort Dodge Aspen dental. What I have is a $1325.00 dollar denture that doesn't and will never fit setting in a dish of water in my bathroom! From late August until November 22. I made many trips over there twice a week except when they had equipment problems I told them from the beginning that the...

Aspen Dental I pay for a services in full with Aspen Dental on Main Street In Suffolk, VA

Account #[protected]- March 28,2023 I contracted AspenDental for dental work over a period of time. I just received a pass due bill for a cleaning. I was not informed that this cleaning was not included in the in the contact. At the time of the service I was not given a bill nor asked for any money. So I assumed that this was included in the contract. It was only after I called an questioned the office if there would be a charge for up coming appoinment and found that I would be charged did I receive a bill.

Not informing me that there would be a charge was unfair.

Claimed loss: $458.60

Desired outcome: I do feel I was misled by omission and feel like I should not have to pay this bill. This bill is extremely high and I am on a fixed income so I will have to set up a payment plan of $50.00 a month.

My first experience with getting new dentures was 2014. In 2021, my lower teeth needed to be extracted and one of my remaining teeth is above the lower denture, which then caused my upper denture to crack. In September 2022, I got a new upper denture and since then, every two months my upper denture has cracked and broke in half in the same spot. I have...

Aspen Dental performed a badly done Root Canal and Crown on my molar in December 2022. The temporary crown broke and was replaced because the initial work was not done correctly. Then the final crown arrived and it was put in place after several tries. The freshly new doctor was not very experienced. My tooth that was supposed to be fixed and resolved for...

I had a consult with Aspen at their Charlotte, NC location back in October 2023. I was given an itemized treatment plan and I then decided to an alternate treatment plan (snap-in dentures v. implanted dentures). I was NEVER contacted again. They then had no nothing to do with me and was ignored. Obviously, I did not proceed with their treatment plan. The...

I received services from Aspen Dental and had a lower denture made a few years ago and paid my contracted cost off completely and then some and this left me with a 7-year warranty on my denture. Recently, my denture broke and I went to an Aspen dental in the new state in which I had moved to try to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. When I brought...

Aspen Dental The treatment of my disabled elderly wife.

On wednesday 15 of november around 10:00 am. My disabled elderly wife went to aspen dental, located at 429 south columbia ave suite b, rincon georgia. To fill out some paperwork for the office manager. Once she arrived the manager took her to her office and proceeded to become very rude and aggressive! She told my wife that she was doing her a favor by scheduling her appointment for the 29 of november, and insisted that the paperwork be filled out the 15th of november! And told her that if it wasn’t, that she would make sure that she ate up every penny of insurance money my wife had available to her! She also called my wife family dentist and demanded a panxray, and was very rude to them when they explained to her that my wife had to sign a release. There is no doubt that this woman has treated other elderly patients in this manner, and she has more than likely took advantage of their insurance! This woman needs to be investigated along with this facility for the treatment of the patients and their insurance companies! This should be very concerning to the public, when a organization like aspen dental condones such behavior from their staff! Not to mention upper management in rincon georgia!

Desired outcome: A apology to my Wife, and revaluation of upper management at this location.

Aspen Dental Fluoride treatment

October 31, 2023 I went to the Defiance Ohio Aspen Dental office for a teeth cleaning appointment. I always decline the optional fluoride treatment because it is not covered by my insurance. This visit the dental hygienist put it in her notes that the fluoride treatment was administered to me. I had declined it and it was not administered to me. They had kept me waiting for 20 minutes in the waiting room and rushed me through the cleaning. I would know if a fluoride treatment had been performed. I am now being billed for the treatment that I declined and did not receive. Now I am wondering who they gave this treatment to that I am being billed for. I called the office to discuss this and they refused to take it off my bill. What Aspen Dental is doing is unethical and unprofessional.

Claimed loss: $46.

Desired outcome: I want the charge taken off my bill and the public aware of this scam they are perpetrating.

Aspen Dental Tooth pain as result of negligent filling procedure

This is a follow up from my original complaint titled, Mouth Pain. Peter Schuler: I submitted a complaint a week ago and I haven't received a response.I met with the dentist Patel at the clinic and I tried to explain what happened with dentist Koolick during the filling. She took a new Xray which showed that the drilling and the filling did hit the nerve. She showed me the previous Xray taken a couple months again showing the proximity to the nerve. She said that she would have explained the possibility of hitting the nerve with the patient before she did the procedure. Dentist Koolick didn't even mention it. She said that she didn't want to talk about the dirty gloves, the pressure of the drill to which caused a large wound on my lip and the cheek. She said that the mouth already has many germs. I replied that I have seen a report that our phones are dirtier than a toilet. I said that I didn't want my mouth on the toilet. She said that she wasn't there and didn't know what happened at the filling. As a witness, I tried to tell what the dentist did, but it didn't seem to believe me. I told her that the dentist was careless with the gloves and the damage to the cheek and I believe he was careless with the drilling. I explained that I had no tooth pain before the procedure and 40 days of intense pain afterwards. I told her that the company should pay for this negligence. I explained that I have no insurance left and I would have to pay $3000 for the root canal and 250 for the 3D Xray. I said that I can't afford this. She said that she didn't want to discuss details like money and that this is what the office staff does. I told her that $3250 is not a detail to me. She also asked several times about my health conditions. I replied that I have told the office and every dentist and dental hygienist at the beginning of every procedure that I have lymphoma and they needed to be careful with my mouth. I told dentist Koolick this at the beginning and his reponse was to refuse to change his dirty gloves saying, "it will be fine". He damaged my mouth and then drilling into the nerve. This whole thing is unacceptable. The fellow dentists and staff are going to automatically support the dentist instead of listening to me. Thank you for your concern. Peter Schuler.

Email on 11-13

Desired outcome: Stop the pain and correct the damage to the tooth without further cost to me.

On my first visit to Aspen Dental (Rome NY) for a dental problem they took about (20) x-rays at $18.00 each, okay, understandable... But, less then (21) days later I had an appointment for a teeth cleaning. At the appointment I couldn't believe it when the said they needed a "new" set of x-rays (20) just for a teeth cleaning and exam and they didn't even...
