I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

There was a shublabh offer for a recharge money for which they give a deadline. After recieving their email we need to reply them with the address in indiawhere they send the gift hamper. I had done that twice and still they say haven't received, i have a copy of both the emails. Then they said the 2nd email received was after the deadline... which is again wrong, i asked need to speak to supervisor, well ! supervisor is not on floor ,, will be available after 4 hours ..which would be midnight time in usa... need to be awake just to speak to them... airtel running buisness without a responsive person on duty... then representative says, well he is in an urgent meeting... LOOKS TO BE ALL FAKE ANSWERS TO COVER UP. I ASKED FOR THE NAME OF THE SUPERVISOR, SHE SAID NOT ALLOWED TO TELL... CANNOT TRUST AIRTEL ANYMOREEE... cheating people.

I bought a prepaid card (starter pack)of AIRTEL on 30th August 2017, and recharged with Rs. 246/- to change my plan as Airtel-to-Airtel 0.30 ps at any time, Airtel-to-Any mobile is 0.59 ps, first 365 sms free per year with a rate of 5 ps with a daily rental of Rs. 1/- and also night talk at 0.39 ps to any mobile. This plan is named as "NR365." For the first three days there is no problem in this plan. The outgoing call charges are calculated as per the above mentioned rate. But on 3rd September my plan automatically got changed to another plan that is named as "Student 365" in which the outgoing call charges are about Rs. 1/- for any mobile in my circle and also with a daily rental of Rs. 1/-.

I immediately made a call to Customer Care, and the executive told that this change of plan is caused by their system fault. Each person asks time of about 24-hours to change my plan to "NR365," but there was no response after 24-hours and my plan is still under "Student 365." I made several calls in which they only tell that they had forwarded the compliant to higher officials and they will take necessary action. There is no message of call from any Airtel Customer Support executive to explain my present status.

Below I mention the name of the executives who made no solution to my query. The name of the executives, the time and date of contacting them as follows:

1. Siva (09:30 a.m. September 4, 2017)
2. Arun (01:10 p.m. September 4, 2017)
3. Kavita (03:30 p.m. September 5, 2017)
4. Saravanan (11:20 p.m. September 5, 2017)
5. Kumar (09:39 a.m. September 6, 2017)
6. Bala (01:00 p.m. September 6, 2017)

The last person I contacted is Anand at 09:15 p.m. September 6, 2017, he asked me 24-hours for change in plan.

Finally I request you to notify my problem and take necessary steps to change my plan to "NR365."

I took an airtel lifetime prepaid plan on 16th Sep 2017. I took a top-up for 77 ( 3 months validity) so that my calling rate will be reduced. I also took a recharge of 160 (Talktime Rs 353/21 days). By the airtel representative 'name : Iftikar '(Cunningham Road Airtel office, Bangalore) i was confirmed that the calling rate will be reduced for all plans. He said 'yes' the reduced calling rate is applicable for all plans. But instead of that my prepaid STD account started getting debited by Rs 1.50 rather than 50/60 Paise (from the STD account of 160). In that case, I am not able to utilize my 77 plan before 21 days which is for reduced calling rate.

The next day(17th Sep 09) he tells us that both are different plans & he can't do anything.

In our discussion he accepted his fault, but could not provide any solution nor refunded our money.

I was misdirected by the representative.

Any solution to this ?

I have been receiving numerous telemarketing calls even after registering with NDNC registry. I would like to get some guidance as to how to sue the company and take the people responsible (for acting irresponsibly) to task. Unless and until stringent punitive action is taken against them these spam calls are not going to stop and they have tested my patience already.

Hi.
This is about the airtel services. I am easy recharge dealer for airtel.. For my number daily a message come from airtel service number ([protected]). I complaint more than 30 times to airtel customer care. But they are not able to block a single message. For every single message rs 1 is debited from my balance. Airtel is cheating the customers by this nos. These message can not come to u when u have no balnce. Dont beleive in airtel

Thanks a lot for replying mail and that perheps you have not read my entire mail about complaint.My complaint was not regarding slow speed of Gprs connection kindly read the mail but complaint regarding non connectivity of gprs connection over my mobile said above.
Further i want to inform you that now at present problem is temprorely solved but is not solved completely, problem is some time occured but not like previously.
Futher i want to inform you that my this said problem occured on dated 12-09-08 and i am out of link form internet till 15-10-08 and due to this i have got loss form various event in my business even i have paid for this to my lawyer to fight with your company regarding the above said problem.
Further i want to inform you that i called to your customer care 121 to solve my problem during that very time but they misleaded me, informing false and wrong information at your end.For referance kindly to be perused my mail completely.
Hence kindly look into the entire matter and subject matter and do the needful to solve my problem compeltely.
Please send me also the email id also of your higher authority so that i could send this complaint to them for my satisfaction and justice in this regard which i faced as customer of airtel after taking connection form airtel.

Unauthorized deduction on account on downloading a non-existent mp3 song while browsing the internet.

This has happened repeatedly and even after numerous complaints refund for the deducted amount has not occurred. After multiple calls to customer care and hours spent on explaining the problem, Airtel is negligent about this.

I am priya, an airtel prepaid customer since 2017. My number is: [protected]. I didn't even think about switching to other network because I like your services, especially your customer care. Now, i'm facing a critical issue.

I had a booster of 97 and validity of that was up to 29th october. Recently I got a offer from your side "diwali dhamka booster of 245 for 6 months validity" a2a 10p.. My existing booster 97 was expiring on 29th and that new diwali dhamka last date of offer was only till 24th. It was a fact that we can't add 2 boosters at the same time, but regarding this offer I found my friends got the new booster activted along with the existing ones. So I called up airtel customer care to find out why it's not working for me. I got a response cc representative, "if you want we will deactivate your present booster account and you can avail your new booster". I said, "fine" and they activated the new 245 booster. I activated the same booster twice, and I got a validity for one year i. E 17thoct 2017. The first booster 245 got activated around (10:08 pm transid [protected]). Second booster (10:46pm transid [protected]) both these 245 got activated on 24th and I was using this faclitiy till 26th oct night around 12.

Then from 26th night it got deactivated all of sudden I din't even receive any message for deactivation. I just made a call after 12 the balance detected 75p. The very next moment I found booster validity got deactivated. I have been calling customer care people from 26th night. The first ended up with, "call us tomorrow morning as our systems are not updated". I called again on 27th and the response was, "give us 24hours madam. We'll fix your problem". No such thing happened. I called around 3 to 4 times everyday and getting the same response. But till date no such thing happened. Finally today a person called thaygaraj answered me, "sorry madam.. We can't fix your prob as we don't have such facility. If you want we will top the amount you have put for booster". I asked him, "then why from past 4 days you gave me such reasons". He replied me in so harsh tone, "sorry madam".

I want you people to some action on this. If I don't get a proper response for this mail, I will just switch to some other network and start leaving bad reviews on the net. Hope the airtel is aware of the effects.

Myself Aliasgar S CHechatwala holding Airtel connection along with GPRS plan 199 unlimited but GPRS plan has been withdrawn without any confirmation. Send mails to Airtel but go the negative reply that GPRS plan 199 unlimited cannot activate as this has been withdrawn from the market. But stil this plan my colleauges are using. instead of GPRS unlimited Airtel providing me the other GPRS plan which iam not ready to accept

I have got a airtel post paid connection (mobile no. 99401xxxxx) under cug plan. i had submitted my passport and my office id as proof during the activation of my airtel number.

On 30 jan 2017 I received a lok adalat notice (notice no. 2951) dated 05 jan 2017 from the tamilnadu state legal services authority for not paying the bill of rs.1851 / for the mobile no.[protected], which I never owned or used.

I met the concerned official in airtel ltd, no.101 oceanic towers, 2nd floor, santhome high road, santhome, chennai-600 028. but the official didn't give any proper response and he provided me a copy of the application of the mobile no. [protected]. I found the document I had submitted for my mobile no. 994015xxxxx was attached with that application. and also I found the following discrepancies in the same application

1. the signature. I found some other's signature was there.

2. the icici bank a/c no. i found a some other a/c. no in the application.

3. the residential address. i found some residential address

4. the application did not have any photograph.

Though I had brought all these points to the official notice, he did not accept it.

Then I wrote a letter to them dated on 05 feb 2017 to seek the clarification regarding the lok adalat notice and the discrepancies in the application given by the concerned official in above said address.

Then I had sent 3 reminders to the same address. but I haven't received any response from airtel ltd.in the mean time I wrote email to the the regional officer. she replied that the legal team was working on my compliant. but there was no answer from any department.

After that I didn't receive any further lok adalat notice or legal notice from airtel ltd. this made me to frustrate. I had invested much time and lost my valuable time because of a wrong petition.

My charges on airtel

1. airtel didn't keep the document privacy policy
2. wrong petition on me which made me to disappoint
3. not provided the correct clarification
4. document piracy

I got a call from Airtel customer Care and they gave the information regarding their New service NOP (Net On Phone). Company executive gave me the total wrong information regarding their service as there is only Rs5 charges per day and after that everything is free. But when I got a message from Airtel that your service of NOP is activated and you can enjoy your mails @.15 paisa per mail. After that I gave the call to customer care on 10th of November and ask them to to deactivate my NOP service and the reply I got was that on 15th of November at 2 PM your service will be deactivated but on 16th of November i received a massage that Rs5 has been deducted from your account for the NOP service. So I gave a call to customer service and again I told the whole story and he again confirmed that your service will be deactivated till 19th of November and you will get the refund but again I got the same message from Airtel stating that Rs5 has been deducted from your account for the NOP service so again I called the customer service on 20th of November spoke to some Manager with the name as Vishal Kutvach and he told that he will personally look into the matter and by Monday 26th November my NOP service will be deactivated and and Tuesday 26th of November I received the same message again that Rs 5 has been deducted from your account fro the NOP service. Then I gave the call to customer service and wanted to speak to Vishal Kutvach and lady replied that he on leave then I spoke to Anish Sharma again I told the whole story and he told me that your service will be deactivate by 3rd of December. In between Rs5 has been deducted from my account everyday. If I count from 10th of November to 3rd December then it comes to 24days x Rs5 = Rs120 (One Hundred and twenty only) this much amount has been deducted from my account.

But on the 24th of October 2017 I had requested for an original hard copy of September month bill. My wide complaint number is F575203531. But till now I didn’t received the statement. There was tower problem in our area (Kovundampalayam, coimbatore) for past 4 days. I have given complaint to the customer care for 3 times. I have sent message about tower problem to 121. This is my fourth mail about complaints. So fare no action take. The worst customer care ever faced. Business people lost their customer. So they opted for Other GSM/CDMA operators.

I have deactivated the cricket alerts and services even then the cricket messages still appear and continuously to my account. My mobile no. Is [protected] (airtel prepaid). I am trying this service to be deactivated from my no. From the past six months. I have called customer care many times regarding this matter but the situation is same as there it was. I have also sent messages to deactivate this service and received the confirmation but still the cricket messages come and money is getting continuously deucted from my account. Last month I didnt recharge my account, then the messgages didint appear but when I got it recharged, they have again started. I am even fed up of complaining to airtel prepaid customer care.

i have recharge sms pack Rs 26 on 29-01-2017 valid for 10 days with 100 sms local and national per day but when i done sms company deduct Rs1.50 per sms from 1-2-2017 onwards. i want to know why company deduct my main a/c balance .
I post a complaint in airtel complaint no. is CWRCH30201317. Today i receive a call from airtel customer care and he told that my complaint disposed today and my main a/c balance should not be deducted. when now i done sms, airtel deduct again Rs 1.50 for sms.

I have requested a service from postpaid to prepaid at airtel office vashi, sector -17, I have submitted all the documents and pending bill on 9th of October,2017. I again went there after 2 weeks , the person told me that it will get start on the nextday. But its not working till date. I have called the customer care -121, but the lady told me that she cannot check the status for the number which is converted from postpaid to prepaid. And the person at airtel service is not willing to pick up my phone even. Their attitude is worst.
Right now I am using a roaming number of vodafone. Can you tell me when I'll get my number up ? If you people cannot do it then I want the money back of that sim and the roaming bills I am paying since last few days , just because of their stupid promises of 3days and 4 days.

I activated MMS in my nokia 6020 about a month ago and saved the settings. MMS service was not working after that.I bought a brand new nokia 5300 couple of days back and repeated the same process.MMS is still not working. I consulted the airtel showroom at ascendas(chennai) and also called the customer care.I was told the same old story time and again "save settings..switch off..send to your own number".The service has still not been activated.This is the limit of lack of responsibility.Please do the needful at the earliest.

Through ICICI Bank I did a online e-top transaction of amount 100Rs. The amount was debited from my account at once. But there was no e-top done. transaction ID: [protected]. mobile no. [protected]. My complaint was happily lodged by agent, when i spoke to him first. When I spoke the next day, I get the information that I have to fax the transaction details to airtel office @ [protected] / [protected].

I really don't understand how will the fax help and there is no dept., to which the fax goes, the agent told me fax it to Bharti India Ltd. I am really pissed off by the service provided. All airtel is doing increase customer base without increasing customer satisfaction. As online etop is a very common thing now a days. and this is the most common problem the customer can have. I see no helpdesk setup for such request.

Will give up airtel connection soon.

Hi, since 31st Dec '06 till date(4th Jan ' 07) I am facing difficulty to make a call to India with my both registered phone numbers. I can make call with unregistered number.After registering my both the residence as well as mobile number I couldn't make a single call. All the time after dialing [protected] number I am getting the voice message as " Welcome to Airtel, Sorry your call can't be connected at the moment, pls. try again later" and after that line is getting disconnected.
I have opened near about 10 problem tickets. Some tickets have been closed without resolving the problem. After discussion with customer representative each time I used to give a call to airtel toll free no. and they got the same voice message and reopened a new ticket each time.
Also every time all the representative and floor supervisor gave the same answer "Sorry this time your problem will resolve within 1 hr. Wait for some more time. Take my word"

Last 2 days I made a request to unregistered my residence number but still there is no result.How much can I wait for the same.

This is a really ridiculous.
How come without resolving problem tickets will be closing .
Neither I got a single email from Airtel nor a testing call saying that problem has been resolved.

I'm using Airtel post paid for the past five years. Recently I received a bill for Rs 4, 026.28 for the month of July 2017. I've been charged 2967.00 for SMS . Each SMS billed for Rs. 99.00, 140.00 and so on. These sms's are billed for every second. For example on 06-Jul-2017 Time 12:56:34 Rs 99.00 12:56:35 Rs 99.00, 12:56:36 Rs 99.00 and so on.. These sms are related to GPRS activation and it is toll free number(s) .I had raised the complaint . My complaint no(s) are [protected], F539745619 . So far no responses from Airtel.

The telephone no.: 022-[protected] is in the name of my wife had the Voice mail feature activated and recently it was noticed that they had de-activated this service without any permission or notice. This is actually is trespassing of right to an telephone line connection and a breach of contract (verbal) and unilateral from vendor side for reasons best known to them.

I do not think this company Airtel is genuinely interested in providing such services like voice mail, etc or this is a pure selling strategy with no obligations to the consequences. I was not interested in their voice mail or the telephone line, but their sales person dreadful looking traveling from door to door in houses promised all the best services with all features probably taught to tell lies and the company may be proud of his lies today, got me to have the airtel connection. This would be the most excellent selling strategy by loads of lies and good short time customers giving growth to the company for virtually no cost, but lies. Because eventually they are exposed to their facts and today I have rated their services to public of India to be stooping to level of just a liar in the form of a large organization.

To top it, I am being told by their customer service person Manoj (a sucker) that I re-activate my VMS. The company may have all the time and money for such frivolous repeats, but they must check whether their customer has the time for all this repeat actions and phone calls to their 121 (customer service number).

I think this company is in the wrong line of connecting people, they are in the line of connecting and then disconnecting people! Great fun they are having at the cost of public money and a ignorant management.

Do reply, if your company thinks that they are in the business of telephone service.

I am prepaid customer of airtel since seven years. Presently i am residing at vellore, ambur, my mobile no is [protected]. I am facing a serious problem and airtel is not listening to my problem. My problem is, since july 01, 2017 onwards Rs. 1/- detecting per call from my balance but i had already a booster plan for Rs.119 (30 paisa per call for 6 months) which was activated on april, 2017. So still 3 months left for my 6 month booster validty. So kindly look into this matter seriously or otherwise i will complaint against Airtel management to top level people of this country. This is second time sending msg to airtel.

Hi, I had taken a postpaid Airtel SIM card from an Airtel Agency, after a lot of persuation and followup from the agency. I decided to take the SIM. From the day I've taken the SIM, I've had problems.
1. I was told that CLIP was free with the celebration 399/- scheme.
2. I was told that there would only be first time advance rent.
3. I was told that the SIM Card would be given to me without any deposit.
And a host of promises made by the agency. On getting the first bill, CLIP was charged. I spoke to an Airtel Executive and she asked me to go on another plan which would not have CLIP Charges and again the advance rent was charged to me for change of plan, and the executive told me, if the CLIP is charged, I should deduct CLIP Charges and pay the rest. As expected, the CLIP charges were charged in the next bill. I deducted the clip charges and paid the balance bill, the same continued in the next 2 bills. Now my Airtel has barred outgoing calls from this SIM. I spoke to another customer service executive about the same on Dushera i.e. 21.10.2017 and she has asked me to give the no. of the agency person, and promised that outgoing calls would be activated in 8 hours maximum. It is 22.10.2017 6.45 p.m. and the outgoing calls have not yet been activated.
I spoke to a customer service executive today i.e. 22.10.07 Mr. Ejaz, and he gave me a number and password, and that does not seem to be working either. On asking him to transfer the call, he says, that cannot be done. On asking him to transfer me to a responsible person, he is not ready to do so, as if he is the CEO of the company. And he cuts the call all of a sudden and says he is sorry that the call got cut.
This is the plight of a person who has been giving business to Airtel to the tune of minimum Rs. 399/- to min. 1000/- per month and Airtel gives this treatment to the customer.
I sincerely request the Complaints Board to take this up strongly with the company and request TRAI to look into this matter as Airtel expects customers to run from pillar to post for the mistakes that Airtel has done.
This is very unfair on Airtel s part and the highest authority has to be questioned and give an apology to all its customers in writing in the newspapers, as without the customers, he would not be No. 10 service provider in the world.
Hope something gets done.

Then Rs1.Debit from my belence so i want 2 stop this mailalert service.I ask from customercare but no responce get me..Pls deactivate mailalerts 4m my no...I am loosing my balence .

Airtel Worst Administration Ever.
I Applied For New Broadband Line At November 26th.
Rs -3500 for - speed 8mbps 175GB.
Today 1 month + 19 days still they don't know what happened.

It is that landline number [protected].

Even line box just 7 meter distance. And just 3 lines only used (20 lines capable box)

sir i gave a feedback 6 days before in this board and so a person from mobile no +[protected] called me and he said that he will take necessary steps to clear my problem but till today(2 days) they did not take any steps to solve my problem if i contact that number and ask they too repeating the same statement. i am very disturbed mentally .so i tried to change my network using portability option to AIRCEL network and gave my proof and filled statement regarding my network change . AIRTEL is not allowing to do that too . a message from aircel stating that (Dear customer, YOur request of mobile number portability is reject by Bharti Airtel (GSM)due to there are subsisting contractualobligation from the subscriber agreement ). WHAT SHALL I DO. I AM VERY ASHAMED TO BE THEIR CUSTOMER.plz give me the necessary idea to chane my network to AIRCEL. i dont like to be a airtel customer.i dont like to accept any type of compramise from airtel.

I am a resident of Hillgarden row house - 74, Chitalsar Manpada, Thane & working in TCS at Yantra park, Thane (Maharastra).

Actually I never get the network of airtel connection at both the above places so whoever and whenever tries to contact me, not able to connect me because of network problem.

This problem is not only with me but my friends are also having same problem.
