I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

Airtel customer care hasn't been working for the past 2 months
I'm not able to connect to 121

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have purchased Airtel data card on 6th june 2017 of no. [protected]. They provided me a Micromax modem. But I am facing some problem from the first day. Thay are as follows:

1. Activation took two days.
2. After that from the first day after activation I am complaining to Airtel data card technical center [protected] for slow connectivity.
3. The technical department is not responding properly. Every time they give some reasons like -
1. In bangalore there is server problem
2. your data card is barred.
3. In whole karnataka server problem
4. The download speed is that much only. (am getting download speed of 2 to 3 kbps)
These stories sounds so funny and they blaming on each other. Tech guy tells on account dept, so on and so forth...Its regarding the rude behavior of customer services reps despite the fact its not customers fault they dont have valid and logical answer.

My address is also not verified properly. I clearly mentioned that I am staying alone and requested them to come for verification before 9am or after 6pm. Still there are no signs of any address verification!

Today I went to customer care which is in Divyasree chambers near Jayadeva Hospital, Bangalore. It is so surprising to know that they have stopped selling the data card and asked me to contact the person who sold that. They are telling you taken demo on that. Actually the gave demo just for 2 min I connected the modem link and just opened google. It opened within 30 sec so I thought it was ok because, airtel is good company and they will not cheat the customers. I thought it will have high speed compated to reliance or tata indicom, but everything seems to be the other way round. I thought airtel will have better speed and servide compared to them or even more than that. I never know that airtel is not equal to 1/4 of their speed or their service.
But, your customer service is so bad, that not only myself, I want to spread around to all my friends and relatives not to use airtel, as the the service is worst and there are lot of hidden problems with it.

I kindly request you to solve my problem as early as possilbe.Otherwise take back my card and give the money back. Again the cost of data card of airtel is Rs 3000 and other company's are selling it for Rs. 2500.

please cancel that bill and repay back my money and take back ur datacard please.

I have had the same problem, I am abroad and tried to recharge my Dad's cell phone via ICICI net banking by Rs 100.The amount got deducted immediately but top up never reached his phone! I am very dissatisfied as well.Also my international SMS does not reach him! Though it reaches other airtel numbers in the same zone! And his SMS reaches me, so basically Airtel is providing a one-way service to him, where he loses money when he SMSs me, but cannot read my replies which are free to him! Really awful service provider! I am sick of this business!

If you find a way out, please let me know too...I would appreciate any help.

With regards, thanks for waive off amount as per your mail dated 5/16/2017 10:55:19 AM on telephone number/account number [protected]. But still my queries are standing out against the following issues:
I was being given the plan as mentioned in my complaint mail 16-Apr-08 6:08:34 PM listed below. Why the facilities were removed without any notification.
My phone is dead for past 5 or 6months and I'm unable to use. I had given this number to important persons that they were lacked to contact me.
I'm being harrased as I'm getting continuos calls from Mr.Yasbir Sharma (Tis hazari Court lawyer/employee whose mobile no [protected]) for not making the payments. It appears that you have filed the case (file no 1635) against me in lieu of not making the payment. It seems very surprise that on one hand you are waiving off my unusual/useless bills and on other hand you are filing the case in court against me.
Inspite of listening/sorting out my problems you have filed the case (my continous mails and phone calls are the evidence of the proof, how I'm interested in solving the problem and not you)
This is the last chance for you to disconnect my connection, stop to send useless bills and harrasing otherwise I'll have to go to consumer cell against you for the harrasment.

am using your airtel lifetime prepaid, my mobile no is [protected], my residensial address is plot.no.107, D-3, swapnagandha Soc, Opp. Swami Vivekanand school, Borivali (West), I am not able to get airtel network in my home, because of that i am facing so many problem, i also have reliance card and getting proper network in Reliance. so i request you to please activate proper network in your prepaid card & do the needful

I had a airtel prepaid connection and was paying the bill thru ECS. Last year since i was moving out of India for a year I requested AIrtel to disconnect the connection and subsequently to stop the ECS. But to my surprise Airtel ppl have taken one extra installment for which i have not taken their service. After very hard argument with them they finally agreed that mistake has happened from them and they assured to give back money, But this has not happened yet. I am fighting with Airtel guys to get my amout back since six month. But one thing is sure Airtel people are Cheaters... they simply take money from your ECS account and they grow...

Don't trust Airtel guys

Dear ###ed up Airtel service...
well... first of all i will never ever recomnd any one to get an airtel connection in CHENNAI... i just recharged my airtel prepaid for 121 twice and the ###ing money was deducted from my ICICI account immiditely... but my ### prepaid never showd up.. after all tht i decided to talk to the cust care Idiots... none of them gave me a proper solution.. I AM NOT RUNNING ANY ###ING ORPHANAGE HERE.. PLS STOP ROBBING MONEY LIKE THIS... AM GONNA DEAL THIS IN A DIFFERENT WAY..! ANY WAY.. GUYS ..! WAKE UP..! NEVER EVER BUY AN AIRTEL CONNECTION.. I was using airtel connection from last few month. I request on coustomer for local pack by wgich my local cal would be 1 Rs. The person on other side told me my plan is changed afret 24 hour. After two days a called again then the person told me it will take one more day. This story continous for next 10 days. After that i again called on coustomer care no 121. Then the representive told me the request take 24 working hour. and there was saturday and sunday and two day leave so that is a reason my request is not processed. And he also told me is coustomer care representive told 24 hour it means 24 working hour mean 3 days, becouse in a day on 8 houir is working. Then i ask him who told him all that. Then he close my services. My services opened after 3 days, when i call on coustomer care no many time. Who give the right to coustomer care agent to close the service. They think k "Company unke baap ki hai".

Yeah... I too got the p3400 and settings for gprs from Airtel. They said we need to do manual settings for the same. When we do that and try to connect to.. the message is that remote party has ended the connection. If you anyone knows the settings and got the issue resolved .. please let me know .

As i am a airtel subscriber in chatisgarh circle. My cell no. is [protected]. airtel live is activated in my cell. Actually on every tuesday rs7 is deducted from my talktime through a sms from airtel live no. is [protected] without any download /login in airtel live. I given complain to customercare 1 month before. Now i am at roaming in jharkhand. I am also given complain to airtel jharkhand customer care. They told me that my problem will be soleved within 24hrs. But it is still continued. I think the logo of airtellive should be changed from airtel express yourself to airtel depress yourself. In jharkhand my contact no is [protected].

There was network problem in our area ( sakkam patti near andi patti - theni district ) for the last 10 days... Already i have given complaint 2 times to customer care... but they didn't give any responses yet...

Now there is no even single point tower signal in our mobile... So that only we are telling our problem via email...

Thsy not responding at all, they don't care even any customer came and ask or request anything. I need Internet connection. I went in Airtel office, Sampige Road, Near Sai Baba Temple, 15th Cross, Malleswaram, Karnataka, INDIA and i asked what i have to do.

They taken My address and my contact number but they did not contact with me. I went there 2 times and they repeating it continuously...

They thinking one customer loose means other will come or its not giving his /her profit or loose Airtel will loose... Who Care!

I have make a call on October 2017, and a scheme was running at that time which was "i can make a airtel local call between 10PM to 8AM, i marked a call at 10:10 approx. & talked about 27 minutes. Due to scheme it should be cut from my scheme a/c but it was cut from my main balance.

I have made approximate 50 complaints in between the duration of 1 month but no action was taken place.

Sub: Unknown charges

I opened an Account with Airtel one week back. Everyday some charges are being added to account and bill is now over Rs1000. If you call customer care they tell we can't do anything about unbilled activity and if you don't call then they send sms that your phone stop working before you are near your credit limit. Everytime phone rings some amount is added to account. I am not sure what's going on but nobody is there to answer anything. Hopeless service.

Delhi based lawyer Niveditha Sharma has been awarded Rs.50,000/- as compensation after she sued Airtel for sending annoying telemarketing sms. And the court has held that every person subject to such harassment is entitled to get a minimum compensation of Rs.25000/- So go ahead... sue the company. I have refilled my card on 31st of December with 350 voucher then on 3rd Jan my 210 rupees full talk time was deducted under the name of Value added service. And they are making me run from one office 2 another office.

Same problem here. I live in Chennai. This is getting absolutely ridiculous. Getting charged for services which I never opted for.

there are entries in the bill amounting to Rs 855 and this is just for the stupid ringtones. Without any reason I used get messages from Airtel that I have been charged Rs. 15

When I tried to call the customer support, they flatly refuse to accept that it is a problem at their side and continue to say that I downloaded these ringtones/wallpapers.
