I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

today again airtel was rejected my upcoming network uninor.28.06.11, 6.42pm i got message from 1901 number, that is 'uninor has been rejected by your current operator.please contact your operator'. I have applied 10 times and spent Rs200 with expensive.But no use. Airtel is doing like as 'one man Army'. What can i do?.Last 2 months getting more struggle for change network. But not possiable. My helth also affected due to this problem. please help me

Airtel Mobile company is providing cheap & new schemes daily.
Do you know how is it doing so ? What is the secret?
One more question.
Do you know how many Value Added Services(VAS) are fixed on your mobile number by mobile company

without your consent ?
Airtel Mobile company is fixing/applying unwanted VAS on your mobiles & you may or may not know.
This is one of the secrets of above question.
Many customers including senior citizens visit my shop daily to get their mobile recharged. They

have been complaining always about deductions by the mobile companies. Among all of these I

found a customer (Age 70 Years) of Airtel on whose mobile Airtel Company has applied a record

number of SIX VAS such as Facts 55382, Job Alerts, Airtel Call Manager, Karwa Chauth Pack,

Kareena Kapoor, All Cricket Pack.
Airtel company has been deducting a huge amount from his credit balance every month mercilessly.

( For proof I have images of his screen)
*Suppose for example you or any of your friend/known have an Airtel mobile connection.
You can check it like this.
1. Send ' LAST' to 121
(HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
You will get back a message of last 5 deductions made by Airtel, made with or without your

consent.
These days Airtel is deducting Re. One per day per scheme in general. You will be astonished

that these deductions are made early in the morning.
You do try this message every week to save your money from such company.
Now if you want to stop these schemes follow these steps.
1. Send ' STOP' to 121
(HAVE YOU SENT)...OKAY
You will get back a message like this if their is a VAS on you mobile.
"The following services are active on your mobile. To reply type the serial number of the

service that you wish to 'STOP' "
1...
2...
3...
4...
5...
6...& so on

You can know from above message that how many VAS are applied on your mobile by the company. If

you want to STOP these services then follow the steps.
REPLY '1'
You will get one more message from the company to confirm again.
REPLY '1'
Follow these steps untill you get a message that.
" Kindly note there are no services active on your Airtel number."
*After this send one more message to activate DND like this
'START space 0 to 1909'
You will get a message to confirm
Reply 'YES'

Mr Hanoz, Do not feel worried. It is possible that you came to know about deductions now. You can stop these services easily & aware about this to your friends & relatives. Make a chain of emails among them so that they can also save their money. Read, follow & send the following details

Dear sir,
1. My Mobile number is [protected]. I changed my connection from postpaid to prepaid on 7th of march after settling down the old bill amount and took up a prepaid card and also a booster of Rs247 for Airtel to Airtel 10 paise at 18000 messages free. But my phone did not get activated. Then i paid Rs37 as validity charge which had a validity for 3 months. But 3 days back again i charged my phone for Rs1500. Then why am i charged Rs1 per minute form Airtel to Airtel? And also why am i charged Rs1 for each message?Please rectify your mistake because Im annoyed with it or i will have to take up another connection.
2. Why you don't issue bills for prepaid payments? And Booster Payments at your Airtel Office?

Airtel is the worst telecommunication company I have ever experienced. I took Airtel sim-card as I heard that it has fast internet speed. But let me tell you that it does not, it charges 5 rupees per day for 10 MB of free internet, it still charges from my main balance. It also deducts 1 rupee from my main balance everyday for no reason. It does not even show for what it is deducting for.
When I called the Airtel Customer Care, firstly the customer care is horrible, the are really slow and their daily excuse is that their server is having some kind of problem and to call again after 2-3 hours. SO THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING OF AIRTEL!

Thanks to the complaint board..3 days ago I made the comment and the issue got resolved in 24hrs..they have refunded the amount wrongly charged..I am thanful to the Airtel Customer Care as well for looking at my query..in addidtion to it there is a humble request to Airtel as well atht please check the reason why I get such fake messages as I have been troubled by this issue fro the last couple of months. Last but not the least thanks for the cooperation for refunding the amount wrongly charged.

Yes even I am faced with the same problem.. I have bee repeatedly charged Rs 99 every time saying that I have downloaded some games. because of which my Bill is just rising. And when calling to the customer care they are saying that their system is not working so they will not be able to resolve the issue. My no. is [protected]. Narinder Singh Wadi.

My sim is showing registration failed from two days i called so many times from other number but they are not redy to correct that problem airtel is now becoming the worst costomer care and network in bangalore plese go for other service provider

Not yet...Your various department guys are talking and only talking only...You understand my problem that till now more than 30 times I've to repeat the same story to your 60+ guys from different dept..Everyone is committing something and every other is denying others...The most disappointing thing is that every time we discuss then your guy says that he has noted down the detail and then comes the next guy and same story get repeated...Can you ask your guys why this customer who has used your connection cribbing so much or why till now all his complaint not resolved...Without letting me know request number get closed and then again one new request/complaint number comes in picture...
Before making decision have time to go thru mails and recording which you claim to record...and see my frustrated tone in that...repeating same thing to many source many time is real demoralizing..

I am recieving mostly the same SMS each week of the month and this sender SP28301@ deducting me SAR 5.00 for each SMS.

i am chandrashekhar bopche, date 02/02/2017 i buy a TOP-UP of Rs 30/- and just scratchd. After scratching the 14 digits number was not looking clearly but i try 5-10 time with different 14 digits number and maximum time i got the message that this no is not valid but 2 or 3 time i got that this voucher is already used. so on 03/02/2017 i just call to customer care executive and she told me that this topup is already used on 02 o'clock of 02/feb/2017 but i not get the money in my account. so please provide me the satisfied solution for it so that i always be a customer of airtel.

yes thats right, you'll receive this only if you have rediff mail account and by chance or mistake you just activated your cell phone number there, go to settings of your rediff account and click "disable mail alert" and you will no longer receive those alerts and your balance wont get deducted too...
rediffmail use to deduct these from your airtel mobile, so please dont register your cell phone with any of these email services like yahoo and rediff in future
