I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.

The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.

This is Amar Singh working for Reliance. Last fortnight(26/07/08) I took a postpaid connection from the dealer who sits in RCP( His name is Shoaib). I gave complete details regarding my stay in Nerul. On Monday (i.e on 28/-7/08), I received a call saying that some official will visit me at the office. But he didn't come and told me that he will meet me at the home, but all in vain. My account was activated on Wednesday (i.e on 30/07/08) and it was again deactivated on saturday (02/08/08). When I inquired regarding the problem from customer care they said that it was due to verification problem. From then till now (08/08/08) my account has not been activated and every day I visit they say that it will get activated today...

Dear Sir,

I have Airtel mobile No. [protected]. On 29.10.2017 My Account Balance was Rs. 51.51 Paise. That Day, I received a messagege from your message service no. 54321 mentioning
"Thanks for downloading StarTrek from Airtel, You have been charged Rs. 50. Play Games http://gclub.in". Then My Account Balance was decreased to Rs.1.51 Paise.

I really do not know what is StarTrek and I don't want to use this service. I talked to customer service but no satisfactory reply from that side.

This is the problem to many of the AIRTEL mobile users.

On 30.10.2017 I recharged for Rs.155. After Two Days, I got One Or Two Joke Messages regularly from 54321. On 09.11.2017, I got that type of message from 54321 and my serveice Reply Shows "SMS Cost : Rs 1.00 ". I talked to customer service but no satisfactory reply from that side.

Hello AIRTEL ServiceProviders, If you want money, Directly Contact with me. Otherwise u can beg from others openly. Don't cheat people with these activities.

If u did not able to Compete with your Competitor in INDIA, Please you better go out of INDIA.

i have two prepaid conection of airtel in patna, on 21st of april 2017 they (airtel) automaticly started a astrological services sms for my mobile and deducted rs. 40 from one mobile and rs.20 from other one. and when i contacted the custmercare they simply sayed that they can not return the amount, but i had never in the first place subscribed for any of those plans. please help.

Airtel is becoming nightmare for the customers. They make false statements and cheat the customers on invalid grounds. I took an add on card from them, which have been deactivated several times without undue reason. Time again i called up customer care and they reverted with rude behavior saying go to nearest airtel gallery. We can't help it out.

My outgoing calls are barred. and the verification agency has made the false statements that i do not live in my residential address given to them. First thing I am already their customer for the last two years and now when i have taken an add on card, how can the verification differ in the next card.

God please save us. Such people die of severe heart attack and deadly diseases who cheat others like airtel is doing.

I am [suresh kumar godara s/o hansraj godara ]a resident of vpo sherekan, ward no-07, teh-tibbi, dist-hanumangarh[rajasthan] mobile no-[protected].

Actually I never get the network of airtel connection at both the above places so whoever and whenever tries to contact me, not able to connect me because of network problem.network is veary slow at about last tharty days

This problem is not only with me but my friends are also having same problem.

i am a airtel customer since 5yrs. since a month there are repeated deduction of rs 20-25, till now thrice this amt. has been deducted. the customer care are not able to ans. my question and behave very rude with me. when i called once for asking about the same my calls were debarred. it is the company's fault but the customer care executive talk to me as if they are doing a favor on me. i am very upset with this behavior and i will be discontinuing with the no. if this continues.

I have enclosed my bill calculation excel sheet, I did auto sum of all the charges given by you, and its faulty please check attachment for details and correct it. I had not given any warnings usage messages by you before my free gprs usage gets over so I exceeded the usage and got this huge sum of amount as my bill and thqat is serious concern please check from your side and reply. Some airtel representative called me on 17 th april saying outgoing calls will be barred from 17 th april and then there will be 50% discount on my billing amount, please reply

I lost my sim card during rooming... I called the customer care and asked to block them... they said it is done and said my balance was (2300) actually it was 2500 something before. Then i again called them that person who took it is able to attend the call. They said they bared only outgoing so now they would bare all.

After some time i called they said my balance was 2100. And so i asked them that they might be using the gprs, mms so block them, they assured they would. But in morning i called to ask balance they said it was 800, after that i didn't respond...

It has been already 5 months working on the problem with Airtel regarding taking money from Credit card and then blocked my account. To unblocked my account they are asking for 24 hours since February 2017, everytime when you call them same line is repeated that it will be taken care within 24 hours.

I have an Airtel connection [protected]. Some days back I got a SMS from no. 56465 informing that my account has been debited for Rs.99, under a plan. I never authorized such a debit. Since then I have been receiving unsolicited cricket news at all odd times. When I wanted to send SMS to 56465 to stop this, the message is not being forwarded.

I had availed the facility of Lifetime Plan by echaring Rs.495 on 24 July 2017. Since then I am debited Rs.50 per month. On enquiry in the month of July I was told that I have activated some two Nos. of "Near & Dear" facility. I informed the customer executive that I had never asked airtel to activate this facilityand requested for deactivating the same. But till this month airtel has not done that. From July to October I have been debited Rs.50 per month.

I have a Mobile connection No. [protected] . Few days before I got an offer from the company that my pre-paid number changed to post paid as per their P 249 scheme. For this they asked some documents and I put my passport zerox, photographs and Rs.500/- though Airtel company representitive and that time he give a new SIM Card and tell me it will start within ten days as my own number. But I checked the new sim card after 5 days and found it started with a new number i.e . [protected]. that is not useable to me because I work with a Security company and that my number spread all over market so I approched the company rep. Mr.Rahul ([protected]) and he advise me to contact their higher office in Swargate that is 25km from me.In this saturday I reached that office and two of company rep. attend my problem but they can't only waiste my three hours. they suggest me to cancel the new connection first and then put up once more all my documents. I have no spare time to go back with this matter. Please advice to cancel my new number and return my money and documents.

Hi Airtel,

I was really happy with your mail below, but my happiness short lived. I started receiving calls from Chandigarh number : +[protected], one guy who has bloody mallu accent informs that i m fraud and he's ordering me to pay the bill for the some chennai number.

This is totally unprofessional behavior by Airtel, people from collection using slangs online and ordering their customers to pay the bills. Hope ur quality team is monitoring these calls and providing appropriate feedback to the CSR's.

This person calls me about 50 times in a day. First time when he calls i pick the call and inform that the number does not belong to me but he's not ready to listen to me. Later I dont pick his calls. Today he calls on my landline i had given my landline number for [protected], how can Airtel reveal my personal information or numbers for some other number.

I had 121 and spoke to Seshu (supervisor) at customer service and he assured me that will sort this by evening.

I am really pissed and disappointed with your service only reason why i m not leaving Airtel is that i have been using this number for about 5 years and till a week ago the service was good but not i m forced to leave Airtel.

I have made payment for my number today and will not pay for any other number. Hope this is clear to Airtel.

I can sue airtel for providing wrong resolution to customers, you send me a mail stating will not receive any more calls but after couple of months i start receving the same.

You guys need to have co operation among your own departments.

Waiting for your response, if satisfied will stay else i m leaving Airtel soon. Thank you for your rubbish service.

I have a mobile phone no [protected] which is already registered with ndmc on 01/09/2017 vide ref. No s1000010226 but still daily I have received numbers of call/sms fro telemarketing companies i. E. Club mahindera, standard charted bank, american express bank, icici bank, kotak mahindera bank, aviva life insurance, icici peudentail life insurance, relegare brokers and other nos of campanies. It is surprised that this nos is registered with ndmc more than 2 and half years and still I have regularly receiving promotional calls/sms till date. Please take the appropriate action to stop this otherwise I have no option but take legal action against the company to protect my rights.

Hi team,

I am priyadharshini.S, I am using the airtel postpaid number [protected]. From the day I started using the postpaid sim, am using the plan of 149(2 gb plan).

And suddenly some how this plan got deactivated in the month of may and they have activated 98 rs plan instead of that, after a month I called customer care and came to know that my plan got changed.

And the time ie in the month of july when I came to that my plan got changed, I told the customer care executive very clearly that I dont want that plan to be continues, please cancel the same and activate 149 as earlier and also I told them.. I will not make even a single rupee if they gonna charge me later...!

see, as I told earlier.. this month I got a bill of 5500 only for internet charges that is for 500 mb extra usage in 1 gb( I already told them to activate 2gb plan and they missed to).. now the 1 gb plan is still in activation..

when I was approaching the agents, everyone telling the same thing again and again and no body in a mood to reverse my amount and they were telling me again and again that this plan was activated by me...! so yu have to pay...!

help me in getting reversal for this.

This guys are not at all responding me, everyday am calling but they were telling M that they will get back to me but till date the guy named christy, subramaniam, dinesh from apalate team, nobody called me back.. this is frustrating..

I dont know how to get reversal for this

I was having a pre-paid airtel connection and i decided to convert it to postpaid. Airtel guys demanded me 600 rs as deposit with 500 refundable after 45 days which can be redeemed from any Airtel outlet. Actually after giving them 600 rs i canceled the postpaid connection activation the very next day (29th may) and when i asked them to return 500 rs they said that u can get it only after 45 days. So on 27th may i went to the airtel gallery in ghatkopar and there they said that they do not have any record for this postpaid number. So what I can do. They are not ready to listen to me. Actually i lost my mobile in which the airtel guy"s no. was there (to whom i gave the deposit). I only know that his office was in lower parel (mumbai) and his name was Vinay Gupta. Someone please help me if possible.

There actually seems to be serious problem with Airtel and its services. Such pathetic service!

on 1st September between 11.30pm and 12.00 i recharged my prepaid mobile phone through the net with an amount of Rs 500/- . Today is 4th of september and i am yet to get the amount added to my account a delay of one day is understandable but this is the ultimate now. I can vouch for this kind of sloppy service provided by Airtel cos i had a land line connection also from the same providers "AIRTEL". we paid one months telephone bill through the internet and after about a week i got a call from their customer care saying that my bill amount was pending. When i gave them the details of the payment they asked me to pay the bill once again till the problem is rectified. Out of options we did pay the amount again. The next month a lady from the customer care calls and says that the amount we had paid through the net is deposited with their finance department. We had to call up umpteen times to get it diverted to the current months bill. Don't ever pay your airtel phone bills or recharge your airtel prepaid number through the internet.

Those guys don't know head to tail of what the hell is happening with the customers money.we had all the proof from the bank stating that the amount had been sent from the bank to Airtel and all the goof up was on their part...

Sp people please beware of "airtel"

I am Baskaran CE, satisfied customer of AirTel for long, but termination of service of my number since 20 September 2017 without any notification has made me to change the impression about AirTel's Service. What further add to my agony is that same number [protected] is being used by some other customer.

Since, this number holds all my communications, I have been put into lots of stress for the last 10 days. Further, to state that I had validity till November and balance for communication, I may please be advised how can i get my number back and my grievances would be addressed.

The customer service provider by the name karthi has received 1,500 Rs. We asked him to cancel the same as it took more than a month. Now it more than 4 months we still have not got the money back which he promised will be sent through check.

Airtel is absolutely Fraud repeatedly deducting money from my balance.
Mine is friends card and I'm added in a group. 1 rs is cutting instead of 0.10 paise from 1 month.
When I call customer care, they tell me that your no is not added in any group and you have to add it in the group but when I try to add my no, msg come from Airtel that your number is already exists in the group. So, please remove the existing group. When I try to remove my number from the group, no respose comes from them.

So, Airtel is totally fraud and has eaten my whole balance.
They can't face the customer. So, they have blocked my call also.
Either their system is incorrect or they make people fool and cheat them like this only.
I'm seriously going to file a case against them
Please anybody tell me how to file a case against airtel for frauding customers, is their any organization who can file case against airtel for the fraud?

Hi I have recharged 170 rs recharge voucher on 24 sep 2017 for which we will get 230 rs talk time on airtel number [protected]., on the same day I have left to my home town from maharastra to andhra. After that I have not used more amount. But after returning back to maharastra I am not able to use the recharged amount of rs 170. More over I have not subcribed to jokes and other services but for every time I have recharged it will tell ur amount have been deducted for 30 days. To unsubcribe there is no option to reply back.

Height is I have dailed 121 for customer care it is saying "the number u have dailed is not a valid number"

How can I stop the services other than hellotune?
How can I know the amount which I have not used?
What is the airtel customer care number?

I opted and using GPRS internet on PC and charging my mobile (No. [protected]) every month with Rs. 98/ plan for the same. The same amount has already been debited from my main balance every month for the same service. The representative of customer care shown his inability for its debit in my main balance and has forwarded it to his senior but no action has been taken towards this. Pl. see the details and debit the auto debited amount (@ Rs. 98/month) charged as excess payment for internet browsing from last few months. My communication details are as under for your convenience.

Whenever I use to call some one I am not able to connect the call. there is nothing to listen while calling someone and after some time the message comes on screen as "call ended". I am not getting what type of horrible service it is. So I have applied in uninor for MNP. They have sent my request to Airtel but airtel has refused to change my number to uninor service .i complaint lot of time they wont mind it. what can i do

My mobile number is ([protected]). I had this connection from cbd belapur in maharastra by submitting all the documents with passport as an identity on 20 days before and the connection was activated within 4 hours. After 10 days from the connection my outgoing was deactivated and asked to submit the documents again. By the time i was in andhra pradesh and not able to submit the documents and the connection was was expired. Last Saturday i submitted all the documents in vashi in maharastra and asked to the change into life time prepaid connection. They said that this will activate from Monday. But it was not activated. So i went to the vashi airtel gallery in the afternoon. They said that the server was down and it will activate from Tuesday. So i returned back. As a business man iam eagerly waiting for the connection. But the same thing was happened. It was not activated. I went to the office again in vashi and questioned them regarding the activation. I waited there up to 2 hours and they said that it will surely activate on Wednesday morning. But no result. Then i went to the office in lowerparel in mumbai regarding the activation. They said that if u submit the documents right now again we will get it activate with in four hours. But i don't have the documents that time. So gain i went to the vashi office again and asked them. But again the same reply. And at late night on Wednesday i am able to get the incoming calls only. So gain i went to the office in vashi and questioned them. again the same answer. Today is friday and still i am not able to get the outgoing connection. I think this is not the correct way. Immediately i want the reply from the airtel customer service and tell me what had happened. Almost 12 hours of my time wasted.

I’m new to b’lore and last week on Tuesday or Wednesday and I planned to take one airtel postpaid connection and for that I called up their customer care and left my number with them next day I got a call from a lady Lakshmi-[protected], she sent one executive and I gave all the documents she requested along with Rs. 500 cash. Now I’m still waiting for the number to be activated and now whenever I call her she never picks up my call.

What should I do? I'm simply pissed off.

My Father has an Airtel prepaid connection in Goa.He had subscribed for a few services like Hello Tunes etc. which he unsubscribed from. Airtel even confirmed the unsubscription by sending a message. However after a few days, money kept getting deducted from his account.On numerous calls to the Customer Service number 121, they refunded the money and assured that it will not happen again.We again went to main Airtel Office in Panjim and confirmed that this issue is taken care of.Yesterday, again they just decucted Rs. 200 from his account for no reason and they refuse to inform him why this was done.AirTel cheats its customers and the Customer Care Executives do not know how to talk. I don't know who calls them "Executives" when they dont even have the basic knowledge of dealing with customers.

I was not able to connect with the customer care executive to clarify my doubts, if I ask from other mobile they are saying to sent myairtel to 121 but no solution to my number. Ther is no immediate action to solve customer problem from their side. Above all their customer care service is too worst compared to other networks.

I had written the following mail to the Airtel nodal officer and the customer care mail ID, mentioning the nature of my complaint.

Hello,
My name is Akash Shrivastava, I had made a recharge of Rs.998 in the month of Jan-Feb, As per the scheme provided in the airtel office, I am supposed to have a 2GB limit download, and an Overall of 25GB download valid for one year. I first faced the problem with this scheme in the month of May, that I hadn't received my 2GB monthly refill and also my available balance got CUT. Since then I have lost more than 2000rs due to this error.
I have contacted the local office of airtel in Manipal, And all that I am told everyday is to come the next day and present my case, I have also come across many such Airtel users facing the same problem, with no action being taken.

I request you to process my request and rectify this problem at the earliest. I have grown extremely intolerable to such disgraceful service. I have never heard problems of this nature from any other user of other service providers.

I have not yet received and follow up to my mail written a month ago, I am going to file a complaint against Airtel karnakata, in the National consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) because of no response or consent towards the customer and no regard to provide a healthy service and incentive made to correct the customers problem. I am extremely disappointed in your service and will most sincerely urge everyone not get an Airtel connection.

I have taken a Fixed Wireless Phone of Airtel around 9 months ago. The phone was ok till initial 2-3 months and then started creating problems of charging. On our request the Frenchisee located at Patparganj changed the instrument after chasing them for around a month. Later the new instrument also started creating the charging related problem. Repeated complaints were made to the Franchisee to replace / repair the instrument but without success. Is there any body out there in Airtel to resolve our problem...

The airtel website does not have an e-mail id or mailbox where the customer can send his complaint to them. Instead they suggest to call the call center. The call center is fully automated and you never get to speak to a real person so you go around in circles.

Very horrible grievance handling cell. I really wonder how Airtel is a member of the global communications agencies when it is not compliant in these areas.

i got a sms from 5432105, informing me that
" Congrats! you have been subscribed to auto tips on mobile @ Rs 10 for 10 days of service. To deactivate 999*101#Jobs Anywhere, Anytime for everybody, call [protected] now!"

I was just wondering, I never subscribed to it, How Airtel subscribed my number to this service without my knowledge. More surprised since I never expected such unethical business practice from Airtel. I called the helpdesk, and they informed me to call 1909 and register for do not disturb. I did the same with confirmation number I1019262157. Hope Airtel stops deducting money from customers without getting their explicit consent. or atleast they call and get user confirmation before deducting the money.

I got a call from miss pooja from Airtel marketing to get package of calls (mobile to mobile, mobile to landline with in punjab) worth Rs.1000/- for just Rs 500/-, 15 days back. That call was recorded one. I told her that i am ready to take package but this should start from my next billing cycle i.e. 14th of september. She told me that i will get message when the package will start. I got another call of confirmation from Airtel marketing, they confirm that i have given the option of the package. Again this call was internal recorded one. Than i contacted 121 where Mr. Amit singh told me that he won't be able to do much. He suggested me this site for my complaint registration. I got such calls number of times, i refused to accept but when i accepted the offer they refused to entertain.

Hi this is to complaint about the Airtelcallhome service..i tried it for last three times and all the time i had some or the other issues with it...firts time I was not able to call a particular mobile number using this service..next time my balance suddenly disapperaed and they manage to put it back after 2 days..this time i have topped £10 and for the last 2 days i was not able to make call because it says 'balance is exhausted'.. raised this issue with the Airtel customer support and they said they have forwarded my complain to a relevant department (?)..whn i called today they said the same..so i dont know how long I need to wait untill i call my people back home..I thought Airtel would keep upto their reputation but it was very disappointing...hope someone would take necessary step to address this issue...

I m using airtel internet, but this is the story of everytime that after 15 days of activation of package, airtel internet speed has been reduce n not even a person can do work google so what to say about social networking site. and another story of their faking is wen I sleep at night yestrday there is a balance of rs.31 in my a/c bt in morning it was just 3 rs. wen i asked to airtel costomer care, they said that you(I) have been download java cricket game. my question is that a person using net pack of 2GB, why he/she download a game using his/her money bcoz of presence of so many sites providing evrything free, second thing i didnt use any link of games download so how it could download, third thing wenever a person using net in mobile, at the time of downloading set has been gone to pause mode at which time a person cant do any thing on mobile but this is what which is not happen with me, fourthly i m using a mobile without java (micromax Q2 does not support java applications), so why i download a java game.
these r just escuses or we can say fake escuses made by the company but the fact is that we have to call to complaint about deduction of money twice of every month. n till this time i m crying in front of airtel to refund my money.

Zeeshan have filled the form and given us tarrif plan chart which shows rs. 500/- for 256 speed,, but when we received bill it was for top up plan again I have been cheated by your mktg, executive. We have complaint for the same & your rishab jain ([protected]) visited our office & received complaint letter on 21-12-05. Mr. Jain have also said that he will correct our plan, but it was not corrected again your ajay dubey have visited our office and received complaint letter on 8-2-06, we have been informed that I will get speed 256 kbps @ 699 pm, I have accepted this since june 2017 than you are charging rs. 699/- +taxes to me but I have been cheated by your marketing man again and again. Another scam:
I have been receiving a message from airtel (Ad54321) stating that I had been renewed for fhm@5 subscription service from airtel and that I had been charged rs.5/- per day for the same.
I called 198 today (06 sept. 2017) at about 19:35 and had a chat with one mr. Sharma (Must be a customer services exec.). I was informed that this service had been activated a few days ago through a website called www.mauj.com. when I asked as to how airtel can activate a service without my direct request, I was told that they had received all my personal information including the date of birth from www.mauj.com. this is surprising and also stupid on the part of airtel. I was given a complaint number and was told that it might take another two days to resolve this.
Airtel users, be aware of what is going on.. Question them if you think you have not requested for such a service..
