Walmart review: Customer service ( 2 comments)

My Name is Dawn Dunaway, I went shopping today at Wal-Mart Super Center in Halls, Tennessee on Norris Freeway. It was a very bad experience with the customer service in the check out lane. The casher was Deborah, a team leader, that was stated on her badge. I like to use the self check out when they are taking cash at this store. I have severe social anxiety and PTSD the self check out is better for me this way I do not have to make contact with other people. This Lady, was not the type for being able to deal with this kind of personal problems that I do not speak of to anyone that is not family, till now. She had other employees coming up, getting coats out from under check out area, talking about kitting, looking at samples that other employees had given her to look at. This is all happening with five to six other people in line behind us. We only had ten items on the line to check out. She can not find the produce on the computer that I wanted, Green Cabbage, two heads. Then proceed to tell us that she could not look it up. I had to tell her to put them to the side, and that I would not take them. Then a child of ten years old, that she knows by name, comes up and asked where her grandmother went. This takes her away from her job again, at this point I had to leave the store because I was not able to maintain my growing anxiety. At least my husband was there to finish the check out. This is the third time I have had to leave this store, and it is the closest to my home in Maynardville, Tennessee an hour drive away from where we live. Pleas, open the self check out to be able to pay with cash! I have never had this problem at this store before. The store is usually has them open and I can just scan, pay and go. I have never felt this way before and it is not a feeling that I want to deal with again when I go to check out. There are many more people with the same problems that I have, that want to personally go to the store to shop. This a trip that helps to work with these problems, but not to this degree anxiety.
