I am submitting a complaint regarding a recent purchase of Great Value Chocolate Covered Donuts. When I opened the package, I discovered the donuts were melted, dry, and clearly outdated. The taste was horrible — the chocolate coating had a bitter, spoiled flavor, and the donut itself tasted old, stale, and unpleasant. It was not edible in any way.
I rely on Great Value products for reasonable quality, but this experience was unacceptable. I am requesting a refund or replacement and would like to know how you intend to prevent this from happening again.

I should not have to waste my time and gas returning an expired and poor‑quality item that clearly should not have been on the shelf in the first place.
I am requesting a refund in the form of a gift card, which I will gladly use for future purchases. This is a fair resolution given the inconvenience and the fact that the product was expired and not suitable for sale.
