Walmart review: treated horribly, idiotic policy or cashier.

I went to Walmart today with my husband to get cat food and decided to also buy a bottle of alcohol. When I went to the checkout line, I showed the cashier my ID and proceeded to pay with my card. The cashier stopped me and said that she had to card everyone in my party. I am 25 and my husband is 27 but my husband did not bring his wallet with him being that it wasn't needed. The cashier said that I could not buy the bottle of alcohol so I asked to see her manager. The manager Silvia told me that even though my husband didn't help pay or even touch the bottle, he had to be carded since he walked in the store with me. The manager told me that I would have to leave, then come back in without my husband to buy the bottle. So I went outside and came right back in, then waited in line AGAIN to buy the bottle.

I have never been treated so poorly. I personally worked as a cashier for 5 years and I know the laws regarding selling alcohol. The cashier had NO reason to card my husband and no reason to treat us so rude. I had to wait in line twice and I was treated like a underaged minor trying to steal and I was completely humiliated.
