Walgreens review: Pharmacist's refusal to fill prescription

This event took place on February 8, 2023 at about 4:15pm. The Walgreens that I am referring to is in Turners Falls, MA.

As we all know, Adderall is in extremely short supply. The protocol at this point is that those of us who need prescriptions filled call around until we find a pharmacy that has it in stock. Once we find one, we notify our prescriber who sends in a script.

I inquired about their inventory, and the woman behind the counter, not the pharmacist, asked me what dosage. The pharmacist overhearing the conversation jumped in and asked me if I usually had my prescriptions filled at that particular Walgreens. No, I responded. I try to get it at the Walgreens in Greenfield.

She then told me that she barely had enough for her regular customers so she would not fill mine. What? For one thing, I wish that she could have explained what a "regular" customer is. But more importantly, I suspect that by refusing to fill my prescription that she is likely breaking some kind of law.
