Walgreens Mistakes, lack of communication & responsibility

I have dates, times, receipts and phone calls from myself, my doctor's office and my insurance company about these issues.

Multiple times there have been issues with medications and refills, as well as how Walgreens is billing insurance. They input scripts wrong and then don't know why refills don't go through and want the patient to pay our of pocket (especially troublesome when they're no longer ping to accept prescription discount cards). They have cost me hundreds of dollars and ny insurance company cannot figure out why they are noy running scripts correctly. In the last week I have had scripts canceled with no explanation (by Walgreens), filled with the incorrect quantity (when my doctor's office called they couldn't explain the discrepancy, literally saying "I don't know."

Today I was on hold for two hours. For the first 90 minutes I was getting updates on what caller I was and there was one caller ahead of me. During this time, my daughter and husband both tried calling and they had three or more callers ahead. So I continue waiting. I ask my daughter to try again and she tells me that she received the message the pharmacy is closed. It's 4:30pm on a weekday; their hours are 9a-9p. I use her phone to get ahold of a store clerk and ask. She tells me the pharmacy closed and will remain closed for the remainder of the day. I don't even know he this happens.

They knew they had customers on hold. I would've waited even longer if I hadn't called using another phone.

It's unfortunate because a couple of the technicians and one of the pharmacists have been very kind and more helpful than most - when you can actually reach someone.

I've never had such poor customer service and lack of caring. I had major back surgery and am prescribed muscle relaxers to help. They submitted information to my insurance company incorrectly saying I received a 30 day supply, when I only received 10 days. They billed insurance for 90 day supply of my husband's medication when they only provided 30 day. We had paid for the 90 day supply as well.

We would have switched to a different location or pharmacy, but the options in a smaller city are much less. In addition, their app and website are no use. The functionality is abysmal considering how big their company is.

We understand that things happen, mistakes ate made, we're all human, but this has been a complete and utter crap show they have failed themselves, their customers and patients. Thank heaven these meds are not for life threatening medical issues. Walgreens needs an overhaul.

Desired outcome: An apology, reimbursement, communication training. I shouldnt have to do their jobs by confirming correct insurance submission. They have had s breakdown and have gone downhill so hard so fast.

Walgreens Employee gutter-talk

Hello,

I was shopping with seven year old daughter at the Walgreens in San Anselmo, CA. January 19th at 1:15 PM as we heard three loud female employees two behind the counter one up at the counter where you pay at all complaining and cussing profusely about the Walgreens company and the schedules and the shifts they were expected to work at your store.

We are a devoted Christian family with values reflecting that, hearing this was like putting poison in our ears, I don't want my daughter to grow up having to listen to this kind of gutter talk, my husband and I don't talk like that. All three need to be fired! We'll be taking our business to CVS now. I feel the quality of Walgreens has gone WAY down hill, especially in this store.

Signed a thoroughly disgusted customer!

Walgreens Walgreens Pharmacy Newhall, CA. price gouging

Yesterday there was an issue with my RX Insurance. So I told Walgreens Pharmacy I would pay cash for my usual RX Atenolol 25 mg. 90 supply. I was shocked when Walgreens charged me $38.99. So today I found an independent Pharmacy in Santa Clarita, Ca. that charges $15 for the same RX without Insurance. As a result I won't ever do business with Walgreens in the future because they are price gouging.

Desired outcome: I would like an adjustment to the price I paid Walgreens for RX

Walgreens Photo dept.

I'd like to know why in hell is this platform here, seeing that no one from the corporate office seems to give a damn about the complaints posted! I have submitted both a written & a verbal complaint about the rude and lazy employees in the photo dept at this particular store within three weeks, and have yet to receive a response from corporate? Due to the location of the store, and the demographics of the population surrounding the store, it is only a matter of a short time when one of these lazy, smart mouthed employees will piss off the wrong person, and serious consequences will result! A shake up in the photo dept, and management is badly, and quickly needed! Someone seriously needs to look into this, because we're living in a totally different world than just a mere five years ago! The signs of problems are often obvious, and are often resolvable, but they are often ignored until newsworthy results occur!

Desired outcome: Resolve the problem a.s.a.p., and I'll see the results when into the store and see the photo machine working, and the attitude of the employees changed! I'll also accept an email response that the problem has been resolved.

Walgreens Customer service

While picking up a prescription for my daughter at the Walgreens Tiger Point location in Gulfbreeze Florida around 10:30 on Saturday morning on 01/14/23, i was asked by the employee of the drive through to repeat my current address. I informed the employee via speaker that i did not wish for anyone in the lobby to hear it and that the one on the driver license was the correct address. The employee took it upon themselves to step back from the glass and loudly announce the address apparently thinking this was both amusing and wise. My concern here is for someone either being a pedophile and collecting the information or being involved with a sex trafficking ring collecting this information for later use. My daughter is always with me in thy vehicle since i am a single parent and she is a child and as any customers with working vision knows you are able to see into vehicles from the inside as well as clearly hear phone numbers and personal information. I found no amusement in what i view as the walgreens employee possibly putting my child at risk in this careless and self amusing, disrespectful act.

Discriminatory, very selective of customers, rude, lied to corp[orate when I had them on the phone while there. This location needs to disbanded and put in a real world work situation. I hold them 100% responsible for escalated sickness level and inconvenience of over 3 hours I could have been recuperating!

Walgreens Service

Store 00696 at 226 5th Ave, Nashville TN 37219. 1/13/2023 at 2:02 pm and Rfn # [protected]-1303.

I asked the cashier to pay $5 cash for 12.23 for two packs of cigarettes out of $20 and the rest by my card. He didn't listen and gave me Change $7:77. After calling the manager he refused to cancel the transaction and repet it as I wanted and asked me to leave.

Walgreens Horrible customer service

Today I have spent 3 hours on the phone trying to contact Walgreens about a prescription. I have made 8 phone calls, been forced to listen to all the prompts each time, been connected to pharmacy for the music to play and listen to the prompts telling me how busy they are with other customers, you have 1 call ahead of you, you have 2 calls ahead of you, then eventually after sometimes 20 minutes, it will ring sometimes up to 50 times, get picked up and disconnected. Over and over. This is not abnormal for Walgreens, this is NORMAL. Its almost impossible to get customer service from all Walgreens, they are all run this poorly. They could care less about their customers.

Secondly, they have me registered under 2 different names. Last month I brought a prescription home without checking it first…it wasn't even MINE, it was under someone else's name. NORMAL for Walgreens. I have repeatedly asked them to merge my 2 accounts, Im the same person, Sometimes they only fill one name and dont check the other name. AGAIN NORMAL. Horrible horrible pharmacy company.

Desired outcome: DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR HORRIBLE SYSTEMS. Hire one person just to handle your massive phone calls!!!!

Dear sir, this is about the 10th time I have been treated with disrespect by your employees and manager who overcharged me for medicine and tried to charge me $1,000 for a 90 day supply of vitamin b12 at this point she was laughable I transferred this prescription to winn dixie for under $100. Today I was overcharged again told my perscriptions were ready when I went to pick them up at the counter she was having a 25 minute with a customer who had problems with her medicine she screamed at me ' get to the back of the line! Walgreens Rude and lazy store manager.

Sunday January 8th 2023 at 1:40pm I entered the Walgreens store in Inglewood at the corner of LaBrea & Beach St where I had several pictures printed the night prior(Sat) around 8:30pm. As I approached the photo machine, a lady behind the counter quickly said, "the photo machine isn't working". I immediately said to her that I had been in the store the night prior, and had several photos printed, so how could the machine suddenly not be in working order? She then repeated her statement in a rude voice saying, "the machine isn't working!" I quickly went and asked another female employee working the front register if I could speak with a manager. To my surprise the employee pointed to the rude young lady I had just encountered, and said, "she is the store manager"! After allowing the store manager to assist the other customers ahead of me at her register, I explained to her that an assistant store manager( a black gentleman in his late 50's)had turned the machine on for me the night prior after a similar situation had occurred when an employee(a young black guy) also told me the same thing, "the machine isn't working". What seems to be the problem is the employees are simply to lazy, and are not wanting to assist customers wishing to have photos printed! Having shopped in Walgreens in various areas of Los Angeles, this kind of rude laziness doesn't occur in the stores located in areas where the demographics are mostly white & Asian! The young inexperienced, rude young lady(who would only give her first name as Karla) working as a "manager" needs further customer relations training. The older gentleman from the night prior handled the situation correctly by simply saying, "the machine is currently turned off, but I'll turn it on for you, and you'll have to wait 10 minutes for it to warm up, and/or to boot up".

Regarding fraud and complaint against the Pharmacist working Sunday 1/08/2023 at 2:45 PM.
I have a concern about her professional attitude and concern about the drugs she is putting in my prescriptions. Thank you, Please contact me at [protected] ASAP. I am retired but for years had a government grant to investigate Fraud Waste & Abuse of the Medicare systems to include Prescription abuse. I feel I am qualified to report this.
Because of her behavior, I would suggest a drug test.

Walgreens Prescription service

The past 2 years I have had 3 surgeries all orthopedic. Each time after surgery a pain prescription is electronically sent in by the surgeon. Our local Walgreens Sparks, NV 9705 Pyramid Way won't fill the prescription because I am on low dose tramadol for multiple bone issues. The doctors were all in surgery so in two cases I never got the pain meds until the following day. Last I broke my ankle and they would not fill the prescription without speaking with the ER Doctor. Yesterday it was for surgery for a broken ankle. They refused to fill the prescription unless they could speak to the doc. Never filled. You can teach anyone. Last week I was on hold for over 5 hrs tried 4 times. My wife and I are done with Walgreens. You suck! We will be spreading the word. Your app is half [censored] also.

Walgreens Cashier's terrible nasty attitude/service

I made a purchase with my debit card at Walgreen 8000 Madison Blvd Ste. B Madison AL, today January 6, 2023. The cashier's name Sam did not want to put my purchased items in a bag despite bags of all kinds at the check-out counter. I strongly (using some profanity) challenge him for a bag, finally he decided to get a bag. Moreover, when I ask for the receipt he REFUSED, STATING IT WENT DIGITAL the receipt however, a receipt did print I am not sure what he did with it in the middle of all the bag issue. I often buy at Walgreen and receive cash rewards; I have NEVER had a problem of this magnitude spending money with a merchant. There were three other employees standing staring of which one a man steps forward and stated he was the manager, employee - Travon, and another seasoned employee they ALL stated there was nothing they could help with. Furthermore, they could not provide the telephone number to corporate customer service. It's unbelievable. There also were other customers waiting to be assisted as the store cameras will show.

Walgreens Pharmacy dispensed wrong strength

On 3/18/2022 I picked up prescriptions for my dog and they turned out to be the wrong strength. He was dispensed 32.4 mg tablets of Phenobarbital instead of 64.8 mg. He was also dispensed 8hr Keppra and it was supposed to be ER 12 hr Keppra. Because of this his seizures worsened.

Walgreens insurance said they would reimburse the vet bill of $2727.59 but I never received the reimbursement or the forms he asked me to sign.

Desired outcome: I would like to at least receive the reimbursement or maybe more for the time I have waited to receive this reimbursement. I can send copies of the vet bills if needed.
