Walgreens customer service employee

On September 14, 2022 I walked into the Pacifica Walgreens store #11261 to return an item I had previously purchased Shea/Moisture/HBSCs CSTRC/GL12Z. I informed the cashier the purchase was made more than 30 days prior and joked it had been riding around in my car. I asked if she would look it up by my rewards account. The cashier referred me to the woman in the photo department. I gave her the same explanation I had given the cashier she informed me she could not find the purchase and told me I hadn't purchased the item and could not return it in a loud voice with an accusatory manner. I felt extremely embarrassed as well as determined to locate my purchase. I walked to my car and called the [protected] number at about 4:27 PM to find out how to retrieve my information. This call took about 11 minutes to complete the customer service operator was very helpful. I proceeded to find the purchase it took about 2 minutes to locate. I found my purchase it was dated August 11th at 5:34pm Traction ID5870. I walked into the store and proceeded to show the cashier as well as the women from the photo area because they were both standing at the register. The woman from the photo booth said "is it an online purchase" I said. " no" "as I said I purchased it from this store." The woman from the photo booth looked at me and walked to the back. The cashier told me several time that the woman from the photo department would be there to assist me because she was the one that needed to sign off on my refund. The woman from the photo department was not assisting any customers at the time. She finally returned to the check stand to ask me for my ID and asked me no less than 4 time for my phone number with a condescending attitude. It took until 5:09 PM for my transaction to be completed when it should have been completed in less time than that because when i returned i was the ONLY customer there at the register at the time. After mentioning this to several of my colleagues I found out another one had been treated with the same distain as i was even after she proved she had her e=receipt for a photo pick up. This experience has left me emotionally upset as I told the manager on the next day it makes uneasy, i feel as if I do not want to shop at this Walgreens. When you enter into an establishment to purchase items you want to feel your patronage is important, I no longer feel this way. I did not know how emotionally this has affected me but being a woman of color, it's not the first time I've experienced this type of racism before I just never thought it would happen for returning an item to a neighborhood store, that in the past has been pleasant experience. What are the odds that two women of color experienced unprofessionalism form the same Walgreens employee. She needs to understand that this is not how Walgreens should be represented and may some training on how to respect customers.

Desired outcome: For this employee to reprimanded and some diversity training. I left feel hurt demeaned and ANGRY. How do you handle this type of situation? That's what I would like to know?

Walgreens Lack of support

Sir/Ma'am,

I just visited the Walgreen's in Lexington Kentucky on Dylan place. I was picking up one prescription and inquired about the status of Ozempic which is on back order. The response from the pharmacist (Monsoor), "It's on backorder and you will have to call around and find it."

This pharmacy has been my pharmacy for a number of years and do not like being told I will have to call around. Is this not the job of the pharmacist? To get the required prescription filled ON-TIME.

Desired outcome: I would like the Walgreen's on Dylan Place to find it and fill the prescription pharmacy prior to 21 September 2022.

Walgreens Pharmacy

My Physician prescribed a new medication for me on Aug 15. Today is Sept 12 -I have been trying to get this filled since then. It is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone at the 3rd Ave San Mateo , CA location. I need them to fax a pre approval/ claim denial to my Dr so they can send the info to my insurance company. This is my 3rd attempt at calling the pharmacy- at the first day they just hung up. Now I just get put on hold - this time its been 56 min. I spoke with special medications of Walgreens but they said that my branch hasn’t filed online so they can’t help. Its a vicious cycle. I’m at a loss - help !

Desired outcome: Answer the phone , send my request through the proper channels, follow through and communicate with me

Walgreens Customer service/pharmacy

The pharmacy in [protected]@ BLUEGROVE LANE WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE TIMELY. I had a prescription refilled & the store did not have all of the medication in stock. I was given a 14 day supply & told to re-order the medication because it had to be ordered. After ordering the prescription a second time for the balance of the medication, I received a call saying it was ready, however the price was incorrect. When I tried to call the pharmacy, the would not answer the phone. I held on for 50 plus minutes. I called the store and spoke to a asst. manager & she went to the pharmacy to tell them I was waiting on hold, only to be put on hold again. I am extremely disappointed and would like to have a call back @ [protected].

Walgreens @ Pleasant Run & BLUEGROVE will not answer their phone timely & the drive through line is always, always slow

The medications received on a monthly basis is not kept in stock causing me to make another extra trip for medication

Why are Medications that are received monthly not properly stocked to avoid extra trips to Walgreens.

Walgreens visa vanilla gift card

I purchased a Visa Vanilla gift card on08/31/2022 at 10:10 pm at store number 06564 located at 522 Torrence Avenue in Calumet City. I loaded $350 to the card and paid a fee to find out the numbers missing off of the card. I went back to the store to make the cashier that serviced me aware that the card was defective. She was very rude and said there was nothing that she could do. I didn't want a refund I just wanted to know if she could put the on a different card and I was willing to pay an additional $6.95. She stated that I needed to call the number on the back of the card because she isn't giving me no refund. I took the card and left because I have never been treated like that at any Walgreens. I contacted the number on the back of the card the next day just to find out that they are located in Southwest Asia so now I am sitting here with a that has $350 that I cannot use which is very unfair to myself because I purchased it from your store. I called the store on Torrence Avenue 09/08/22 spoke with Renee, shift lead and she stated that I would need to talk to a manager because they did receive because they defective cards and customers were complaining about not being able to use the card because it was defective, and that the manufacturer of the card has been made aware because they did receive a bad batch of cards. I just want my $350 put on a different card or refunded. I do not want a check sent in the mail because I paid cash, I will never visit that Walgreens again.

Walgreens Prescription distribution - or lack thereof.

The pharmacy department at Walgreens located at 7929 Lower Sacramento Rd, Stockton, CA 95210, is most frequently to few clerks to handle the client load. While customers shopping in the other departments are able to find their items and checkout in a timely manner, not so for patrons trying to get their medications.

It is apparent to me that the pharmacy department needs to be expanded.

Your employees are in continuous state of motion, trying their best.

Walgreens Pharmacy Policy

After having my son's ADHD prescription filled at Walgreens since last January I was told yesterday 09/06/22 by the pharmacist that she would not fill it because his provider is in Sacramento. She felt that he should have a local provider that he sees in person. Upon contacting Walgreens corporate customer service their policy is that they will not fill a prescription from a provider more than 50 miles away. They have been filling his prescription since January with no problem. I am now in the lurch for the medication that he needs in order to function at school. I feel given post-COVID this is an outdated policy and secondly the seemingly arbitrary way in which it was enforced is not good customer service or patient care. If that is their policy then it should be enforced 100% of the time not when an individual pharmacist has feelings about how our family should seek and receive mental health services and care.

Desired outcome: Change in policy (which I doubt will happen), and apology from Walgreens for leaving my family and I in a bad place. Corrective action would involve re-training for all stores regarding enforcement of policy 100% of the time.

Walgreens Not able to reach a person at three different stores by phone

I have called the renton rainier location, tukwila, and the genesee location and each time the phones are busy? I am trying to update my phone number with you all so I can get the text messages regarding my medications.?

Today september 6th @ noon

What kind of compliant form is this? If your message isn't long enough it won't generate attention wtf? Walgreens been whack anyway with the extra high prices before the national health crisis for years to be exact. One goes to walgreens if they have a sell, other that they get pasted on by.

Fix your phones at all the three locations is the point!

Walgreens Photoprint

The incident happened on 9/6/22 at 10:30am when I came to Walgreens at Military Road, Federal way to pick up my order. I’ve checked my photos before I make any payments to ensure that the quality I wanted is achieved. But no, there’s a fine line in the middle of the photos so I need them to redo it again. But it took them more than 30 mins. to resolve and help me with my photos which I told them that I need it as soon as possible, but they never made it a priority and made me wait for more time.

Walgreens Prescription Refill

I put in a request for my Adderall prescription by phone. This is a controlled substance that cannot be refilled before 28 days from last refill. I was eligible foe the refill. I was told it would be ready that afternoon. For one week, I received notices that it was on backorder. Then my request for my prescription just vanished from my account. I called again one week later about my request and they acted as though I had never requested it in the first place. The person I spoke to was very rude and gave me several different answers as to why and when I would recive my prescription. I was told they didn't know when it would be in, thay it was still on backorder, that it was an insurance company problem, that I should try a different pharmacy (cannot do that with Adderall until another 28 days past prescription date from Doctor). I asked about my request from a week ago, and she said that she has just gotten there. I asked about the process, and was dismissed. I have MS which is causing cognitive delay, ADD, and extreme fatigue. Adderall is my lifeline to get through the day. I've reached the end of my patience with Walgreens after years of declining service.

Walgreens Eye sore - danger to community

For 2 years, I’ve watched this disgusting eyesore- thinking Walgreens was remodeling. No the store simply does not recycle or break down cardboard boxes. Why does this store not have a trash compactor? Why are the residents of Marietta and people who drive by subjected to this disgusting sight every day?! Simply emptying the dumpster is not enough- you do not operate a business by taking over parking spots w a giant dumpster. Walgreens do better. Walgreens be better! Go green & let the residents of Marietta have their community free of trash! Yuck shame on you! Do you know how many people travel down Ernest B Parkway & Dallas HWy? Thousands a day!

Desired outcome: they need to break their boxes down this is a hazard to the community. Why isn’t this store recycling boxes? And use normal trash compactor?!! Disgusting for the residents who drive by and work near!! No more large dumpsters

Why does this Walgreens need a 22 ft dumpster? When I worked at a big box pharmacy we used a recycling compactor for the cardboard & trash compactor for trash. Pharmacy had a service to pick up hazard & protected info trash…. This location continues to use a 22 ft trash container. Walmart doesn’t even do this!

Walgreens Walgreens Asheville Hwy Knoxville Tn isn’t a good look the two managers on duty Amanda & Victor representatives of your corporation completely RUDE

The way I was treated for knowing how to do the managers job better then she did was very disappointing and no reason for her to be disrespectful for not agreeing with what she was saying for a return item I had literally bought the day before Aug 26, 2022 and day of return Aug 27,2022 for faulty Bluetooth headphones with original receipt and paid with cash the item $14.99 and I used my Rewards $1.00 and she tried telling me I had to take store credit because of the $1.00 Rewards because it couldn’t be split up. Well I informed her that is incorrect I have paid cash all she had to do was put the $1.00 on store credit and give me back my cash I paid for it. She was very un professional with her attitude because someone doesn’t agree with what she is saying. I asked for the manager and she replied I am the manager Amanda at that point I lost my cool and told her she is a very bad manager and that she needs to show me in her protocol where it’s says I can’t get my money back with original receipt not even 24 hrs later because I used a $1.00 Reward is just Ridiculous and she returned with another male manager Victor and he did the return just as I said it could be done and she did apologize for being wrong and I did as well for coming out of character but won’t stand for people crossing boundaries when there wrong. I returned to my car and I was fine we as adults apologized for our behavior .That was until my sister returned to the car and I heard her hollering back at someone inside Walgreens and once again it was the manager Amanda she made a comment to my sister walking out the door loud enough for her or any customers to hear “that there she goes with a purse full of [censored]” My sister heard her comment and screamed back That she didn’t have anything in her purse she had Money in her hand ? The lady quickly said she wasn’t talking about her but no one else was going out the door. And the manager Victor said to my sister.Well if you don’t have anything in your purse then you have nothing to worry about?” What the Heck ? # 1 and foremost the woman manager put every customer at RISK in that store at that very moment! If my sister was a real criminal and had a dangerous reaction to her rude unnecessary comment and that is definitely means for immediate termination for putting innocent customers at complete risk for her own personal judgement and not only was she wrong about the proper return procedure, she was wrong again for judgement of my sister and saying it loud for all to hear. I think she might be Buddy the Elf’s sister She is Screaming she is in a store and she is SCREAMING…..

Walgreens Walgreens Instore Auto Answering Pharmacy Phone Service

AutoAnswering Pharmacy Phone service (In-store) is abominable at Dover, New Hampshire location [protected]. Auto answering Phone service for Pharmacy is ridiculous recorded voice, that does not ever transfer calls into Pharmacy. I have to drive to store in order to discuss any medication with in-store Pharmacist "Jen". This is NOT the fault of the Pharmacist. The in-store answering service is terrible! Automated voice spews its message then hangs up without making call transfers into actual Pharmacy. This has been occurring for years & years. HATE this Pharmacy phone system. Pharmacy Mgr. "Jen" called me on 08/26/2022, left voice mail for me to return her call. I cannot return her call, I have to drive to actual store on Glenwood Avenue, Dover, New Hampshire to discuss all medical /prescription issues with her because I cannot get through to Pharmacy using the stupid, in-store phone automated services. Abominable.This also means that I am froced to tke up extra time in the drive thru line asking questions, becasue the in-store Auto phone service is beyond usability at all.

Desired outcome: Walgreens should hire multiple Auto Phone System Programmers who understand how to get its phone to interface with customers & Pharamcy needs of its customers.

Walgreens Photo

I had thank you cards printed using Walgreens photo pre-designed cards.

The only part of the card I customized was the "from" name on the front, the photo used and a custom message on the inside of the card. It was marketed as a thank you card and has "Many Thanks" as the text on the front that cannot be edited.

After picking up the order I found that the cards were printed with "Merry Christmas" all over the back of the card. When reviewing online I found that is the default setting for this thank you card. You have to manually go in and select a plain white background.

I didn't view the back of the card before printing because I didn't make any changes and never could have imagined this would be the text included as default.

These cards are being sent to people who attended/sent flowers/made memorial donations for my father-in-law's recent funeral, and therefore cannot be used with this mistake.

Desired outcome: Please refund the amount spent on these cards.

Walgreens The manger Walgreens in Buckeye Az ban from story for no other reason than does like my kind.

I cam in Walgreens Buckeye AZ store buy couple bottle soda. Was told buy manger get out store ban from using store because I scare way all customers. I was told buy Walgreens did allow my kind shop there I be no longer be allowed buy my drugs there in his store. He call cops on me if ever happen use his Walgreens. Is what can expect from Walgreens from now on?

Walgreens Ignored by entire pharmacy for 15 minutes while in correct line at vaccine appointment

On August 23, 2022 I arrived at the Walgreens Store at 245 S Main Street in Clinton, TN exactly on time for my 3:00pm Covid-19 and pneumonia boosters. There were two separate, clearly marked lines: one for drop off/pick up prescriptions, and the other with a prominent sign: Covid-19 vaccinations. I walked straight to the Covid vaccination counter, which was empty. A technician ("Becca") no more than 3 feet away was very cheerily helping customers in the other line as they gradually entered (only one was there when I arrived). An employee working the drive-through made eye contact with me as she walked by multiple times to get customers' medications. A pharmacist sat working about 6 feet away from Becca and made eye contact with me 3-4 times. Over the next 15 minutes I spent my time at the Covid vaccine counter searching for my insurance card in my purse; reading things on my cell phone; watching customers walk in, get in line and get waited on by Becca; gazing at the drug bins; watching the pharmacist and other technician work; checking my watch and more. I was annoyed that not one of the employees had even acknowledged my presence even when I had arrived, but speculated that someone dedicated as a vaccination worker would appear. Having made eye contact with the pharmacist, I assumed he would assist me as soon as he was able. When no more cars were at the drive-through, I was astounded when that employee stood with her back to me, tapping her fingers on the counter. I said in a clear voice, "Excuse me - I'm here to get my Covid vaccination". "Becca" addressed me, "You need to get in this line", referring to the line she had been working for the previous 15 minutes while I stood within arm's reach from her. I responded, "I'm in the Covid vaccination line." She said, "There's only one of us here." When I said, "I've been standing here for 15 minutes" she said, "I thought you just put your purse down there to go through it." When I got in the "drop off/pick up prescriptions" line, the customer in front of me turned, raised her eyes, and said, "You would think they'd take that sign down" (referring to the sign that designated the other line as specific for Covid vaccinations). I said, "Thank you. You'd think they wouldn't ignore me for 15 minutes either!" I then told her that I was going to leave after that kind of treatment, but half way out of the store I turned back to tell the employees why I was leaving. I said, "You didn't even acknowledge me, and I was NOT going through my purse for 15 minutes! I am leaving." Becca said in her cheery voice, "Alright. Goodbye Ma'am." What an incredibly insulting and bizarre experience. I have already told three friends from this area my experience and advised them never to go to that store. Whenever I have the choice to go to another drug store, I will choose anything other than Walgreens.

Desired outcome: Verbal and written reprimands about the inappropriate behavior, and follow-up evaluations. Kindergartners would be reprimanded for treating their peers this way. Sadly, these adults will change only if their jobs are threatened.

Walgreens pharmacy and pharmacist

The pharmacist thinks they know more than my Doctor and my insurance company. Apparently, they have me flagged as some kind of criminal because I got a narcotic while waiting for surgery. First, they decided the Doctor had written for too many (the pain management clinic I go to has a second doctor review all prescriptions before it's transmitted to the pharmacy) so they cut the quantity and canceled the rest. Then they informed me that I should be on a long acting med. So, the next month I got the long acting and some short acting like they told me. As a result, the cost went from $14 to $90.

My insurance allows me to get the med at the 29 day mark. They just told me that even though the Doctor wrote it saying I could get it at 29 days Walgreens says I CANNOT have my med until 30 days no matter what the circumstances. My MIL just died and the funeral is all the way across the country in 2 days. So, I have to choose whether to go to the funeral (without pain meds) of a woman who has been a mother to me for 45 years or wait for the pain med and miss the funeral since I cannot drive across the country in one day.

Walgreen's will never get my business again for anything. Not that they care, obviously.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the pharmacists and the store manager. If I could make it happen, I would ask Tricare to switch back to CVS and no disabled Veteran would be treated like a criminal by them ever again.

Walgreens pharmacy

Walgreens pharmacy at 223 north st Calais, me 04619. I recently went to the local emergency room on the evening of August 18, 2022. The Attending doctor gave me 3 prescriptions that I really need oh but wait I can't cause that pharmacy is closed till Monday. I have serious medical issues do to injuries I sustained by getting hit by a car on June 24, 1999. This is my official complaint and request action be taken on it.

Walgreens Service

On Monday 15 August 2022 I took a written prescription to the Walgreens on Rose and Gonzales in Oxnard. The employee there by the name Alex. The reason my prescriptions had to be handwritten by my pain management Dr who is in Camarillo is because they had no electricity so Alex says to me that ALL the top lines had to be filled out I had to drive back to Camarillo and by the way my written prescriptions had the date written, my full name and my DOB but Alex wouldn’t except it. My pain management Dr tells me the law requires only the fields he filled in not my address, gendar, and my phone number but he filled it out anyways. This person is so rude and moody all the times I’ve been dealing with her and I would appreciate it if someone speaks to her and gets this matter resolved. I’ve been getting my prescriptions there for years this started when she began working there. I am a customer and I think I should be treated with respect because Alex is very rude in the phone and in person. I’m just asking that this matter will get resolved with her. Thank you! I’ve never ever had any problems with anyone like her up until she started working there. She seems to have a personal personal problem with me and I don’t know why and I don’t appreciate her to treat me in the manner that she performs. Thank you

Walgreens Employee made up his own walgreens policy

Employee in Sierra Vista AZ decided that he would only take $500 cash from me no more to deposit into my Chime account and claimed it was Walgreens policy. He made it up, I looked up Chimes policy that was determined by two companies collaborating together to make this business transaction work and the policy is $1,000/day or $10,000 per month.

His name is Josiah or something and this is one of many many complaints I have with employees in this terrible town. Sierra Vista has quit possibly the lowest education and progressive or even mediocre employees that are just polite - everyone here treats everyone else like utter and complete [censored]. I have never experienced such a vile town in my life… utter garbage employees and garbage town. No businesses do anything about it bc it’s so pervasive.

Please fix this issue as no one can just make up their own policies that’s what a business is for.
