UPS UPS Access Point

Today, 2/5/2024 between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., I was refused service by the UPS Access Point owner/clerk @ 44-45 Kissena Blvd. Ste. A, Flushing, NY 11355, and told, "We don't need your business when I asked why I was being charged for 4 pages that were NOT needed to return a package. I inquired because I expected to pay $1.50 [.75 for a packing slip and .75 for a return label, and I had two additional packages to return]. The owner/clerk immediately became irate when I asked why he printed pages that were NOT needed. In other words, why was he going to charge me $3.75 instead of $1.50? He printed 2 packing slips, 2 return labels on regular paper and 1 return label on a self-adhesive sheet. His response was, "You sent me the email." And my follow-up was, "Didn't you look at the email before you printed it? There are only 2 sheets." His final response was to shove the box back at me and say, "We don't need your business." This UPS Access Point is in the front of Victoria Pharmacy, and it so happened that I was going to pick up a prescription that I had called in earlier in the day. I repeated what the owner/clerk said for confirmation and asked about my prescription [I believe he owns the pharmacy, the store, and the UPS Access Point], and he replied, "Yes, we don't want your business." I try to keep my business in the neighborhood, but his decree means I have to find a new pharmacy and a new UPS Access Point further away from my home, which will prove inconvenient. I am 63 years old and disabled. I suspect it is my age and infirmity that caused him to dismiss my question so readily. Can a UPS Access Point reject my business because I ask about overcharging? Thank you.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the owner/clerk for his dismissive response to a reasonable question. The second desired outcome would be that UPS address the incident to reduce future occurrences.

UPS Driver and drivers supervisor

Yesterday at 4:06 PM our UPS driver threw my packages in the muddy driveway then ran over my dog killing her. He never stopped or let me know of the accident! I spent almost an hour trying to get someone to answer the phone using the customer service phone number. Once I finally got in touch with someone they took the details of the incident and said they would have someone from the local office call me. Shortly after I received a call from the local office. That representative asked for pictures and additional information. She said she would pass that information over to the driver supervisor that handles these types of incidents. Later that evening I got a call from the supervisor. She was extremely rude and said her driver said he didn't run over my dog. I said of course he would say that so he didn't get a strike against himself! She kept being very defensive and rude. The driver was driving way too fast down our driveway which i stated to her. She told me she could see how fast he was driving when he returned that evening. She even told me that she didn't have any pets so it wasn't her problem! I asked her what that had to do with me or my dog. She said she would know if it were her driver because there would be blood on the truck. Mind you my house is down a gravel road and my driveway is 1/4 mile long and the road is very muddy from the snow and rain we just got, not to mention my home is at least an hour from the local office in which he had to drive back to. The only blood that would possibly be on the truck would have been on the tires because he ran over her with his tires...she was a French Bulldog not a 150 lb Corso! To top it all off she said I needed to leave my dead dog in the driveway until Monday so they could come out to investigate because they would not come on a Friday night or a weekend. I was not able to leave her outside...we have coyote, foxes and other wildlife that would have eaten her if she was left outside plus I have 2 children that do not need to see their dead pet in the driveway. I was so upset with this woman that I asked to speak to her supervisor. She tried to tell me she didn't have one and that she was the only person that I could deal with. I told her there had to be someone that she reported to, but she denied it. I can't even believe this individual is in charge of employees or in charge of handling these types of incidents because she was hateful, rude and had zero empathy or compassion! She said someone would come to my house Monday to investigate. After getting off the phone with her the UPS driver and a different driver supervisor showed up at my house. By this time it was around 7 PM. They asked what I did with the dog and I told them I had to bury her. I showed them the blood and bloody tire tracks in my driveway. The supervisor took pictures and admitted to me that the bloody tire tracks matched the tread of their trucks. They stated they would be back on Monday when they had daylight to complete the investigation. What happens now? How does UPS handle these incidents? I understand accidents happen, but why did the driver just leave after hitting her? Why did he drive so fast to get away? I did file a police report with my local sherrifs office and they said I can record and video any interaction with UPS when they return to my house on Monday. I hope UPS takes responsibility for their employees and the hurt this has caused my family. They should also pull the phone calls with their extremely nasty supervisor and take action against her.

I am so sick to my stomach after reading this. I am nearly in tears and can’t imagine going through this. I am an ups driver myself and what has happened here and the way it was handled is absolutely unacceptable. Not only is that disgusting sorry excuse for a human being that killed your dog Fully aware of what he did so is his supervisor. I have no doubt in my mind. You should pursue this further please do not allow the driver or the supervisor to get away with this. I have never been so ashamed to be associated with a company in my life as I am right now after reading your story. I am so very sorry for your loss and I can only imagine how traumatic this has been for you and your family. Please look for your local ups hub. The one where your pkgs are being sent out for delivery from. You can get this info from your ups online acct. I urge you to take the time to go there and even if you just start at the customer service desk demand to speak with someone about this and make sure you tell them how it was handled and who you have spoken with. Even though the supervisor you spoke with is a useless liar I assure you that not everyone will react the same and I do believe that this needs to be addressed and both of these employees disciplined and honestly terminated. Again I am so sorry this happened.

I am appalled! I am heartbroken for you and what this must have caused. Poor thing, those trucks are HEAVY! How dare that POS driver not have stopped. He better have lost his job for not stopping! I have a longtime UPS business account and am so over how badly they've gone down hill. This is no longer the upstanding company of the past!

UPS Delivery systems

I sent 2 parcels from Nigeria on 17th November 2023. The contents are the clothing items for the funeral of my sister in law. The funeral ceremonies are from 29th November to 1st December 2023. My parcels should have arrived latest by 24th November . I started chasing them from the 24th and i was given different explanations. I was told that there is issue with the aircraft, packages were left behind, customers checking and so on. It was only 1 manager that followed the complaint after a while as I started crying on the phone . I was crying as there's no plan B for the funeral wears and stuff that I intend to put inside the coffin. On Wednesday 28th November, the manager phoned that the parcels are now considered missing. I cried my eyes out and went out to purchase materials for some members of the family. On Monday 4th December, I received a voice mail that the parcels are now at an access point as delivery failed on friday. I didnt receive a calling card before. I have now collected the packages and I am still traumatised to open it as I dont need the items again.

I wish I had read the reviews on some sites before using the services. The replies they gave on trust-pilot seem like a template to fit all issues. I paid premium rate to use the service but I regret it as the parcels were late for over a week. I was given different answers when I was chasing the parcels whereabout. Their logistics for shipment is weird .

UPS Driver Refuses To Deliver

Office in charge has a history of failed delivery "attempts." I've been home. Each time they claimed nobody answered. No one even knocked to alert they were there. I heard the stamp on the door and they were already gone. Laziness at its finest. Previously I had contacted the CS line and each time when CS successfully did their side of the job, the local hub refused to cooperate with CS. Previously in a separate order, they even went as far as to claim the package was lost in transit. Took me bringing up the local police for my package to pop up in their hub once again. This is not a signature required order. I've had many successful deliveries for packages that needed to be insured. Those never even required I be at the door. Ranging from televisions to smart fridges. Not a single time was my presence needed to be there for my package to be dropped off.

Desired outcome: I want my package delivered.

The package was delivered on a Saturday which is unheard of for UPS. But the ultimate problem of repeatedly misdirected packages has not.

UPS Ups drive over 3yrs still do not delivering packages to building

the driver Ive seen few time just pull in and sit in truck 5-10 min last one just sat and snacked never once leaving their seat years now I don't understand ups is the ONLY service inept to do the deliver part seems to me a waste on money gas and driver ever since access point and no follow my package which I would glad like so I can just complete their job .. I own a business ups failing to drop off at my residence. ... if its can't deliver packages here properly, why shall I continue using this service?

my company no long supporting ups. and congrats new board been posted ups first on inept ..nearly 4 years of this utterly disappointed. and ever person post in the lobby but the don't have cameras so don't realize drivers never leave there seat seem our place the break area oops failed attempt #2 where's first attempt I have no idea please do explain I never been one to complain seeing took 4 yrs let them drivers know there a lot older people no cars and some like me go to work before 9 am and after 5 pm so how am I to pick up a pack I paid to be deliver .. never a signature never a slip left ? just deliver ,simple just do the job.

UPS Charging VAT on a parcel that has already had VAT charged

I purchased an item from BangGood which had VAT charged at 20%. I was assured that no further VAT would be charged.

Your company was the carrier in this company and refused to deliver the parcel until further VAT (and brokerage charges) were paid even after explaining and supplying documents to show VAT had been charged. Still you refused to delver the item until your charges has been paid. I reluctantly paid the fee on the understanding it would be repaid after investigation.

I look forward to receiving the refund of the VAT which is £33.58 and an explanation of how this can happen within 14 days.

UPS Bad service & unjustified charges

I have been trying to solve a problem of cheating me by UPS Portugal with spending too many hours without success. Your intervention is sought to resolve the problem described below: The company, DPD in the UK, charged us around € 75,00 to deliver a parcel worth € 20,00 to me in Portugal. DPD promised that the only additional cost will be the Portuguese customs fees to which we agreed. Sr. Gomes of UPS Portugal - partner of DPD, called me and said the parcel has arrived and it will involve a total cost of € 40,00 to clear from customs. He eventually confirmed in writing that the cost was around € 53, see attachment While this in itself can not be justified, we were anxious to clear the parcel by paying what Sr Gomes confirmed in writing. What we are not prepared to accept the "bait and switch" tactic by UPS with higher charges than what Sr . Gomes confirmed in writing. UPS appears to embark on receiving a blank check which is totally unacceptable. I demand that UPS refund € (75,08-21,57-31,98) =€ 21,53

UPS delivery to my door

Hello, my name is Grace Kleine

I do not get UPS packages to my door anymore. I order medicine and other supplements for my senior dogs, and other critical things. It all gets forwarded to my local UPS store for pickup. I work long hours and share a car, so sometimes its inconvenient. We had a part ordered for a home project and again was sent to the UPS store. I have the UPS app and have things on there to have it delivered to my door, but still goes to the store. What paperwork needs to be filed in order to have things delivered to the door? I've called several customer service numbers, went to other UPS stores for answers and don't know what my next step would be. I have cameras installed near my porch so theft isnt an issue. This is inconvenient and i need help to get my packages, thank you for your time and help.

Desired outcome: To continue to get Packages delivered to my home address.

UPS UPS driver for Indian Mountain Road, Harrison, ID 83833

First off about 2 1/2 years ago our driver came with packages, I put my arms over the fence to get a package and he proceeded to throw it on the ground breaking it. Still have the broken light. He threatened me stating I would be sorry, several times. To this day he has not come near our home and has gotten better about putting packages behind a sign about a half mile from our house, but we keep asking for him to bring them to our shop. The other drivers bring packages to our home. Last week, because Amazon wanted a pickup, he put down the package was picked up but never was, UPS CASE number C-[protected]. I had to contact Amazon until they finally sent me a UPS label and drove 25 miles to ship it back to UPS because our driver refuses to do his job. We did have the package at the shop where he could of picked it up. His supervisor won't make Josh do his job! I am 73 years old, 4 foot 11, and have had 3 heart attacks along with parathyroid disease and have a hard time climbing up to the sign to get packages. As I said before, he is doing better, he was leaving them out in the field, it was like, where is Waldo...used to be a children's librarian and choir director. Please help us! I don't believe we are asking too much for the driver to just do his job! I have called the local UPS probably 40 times, and again today because he put up a notice "sorry we missed you" but no reason why. He did put up two notices after I finally got a UPS label...after the fact. HELP

UPS Delivery

Ups keeps delivering my packages of live plants to the wrong address. Currently I have 3 in route and 1 got delivered 2 times to the incorrect address. Luckily an older man at the wrong address saw the box, took it to the UPS store and then they re-delivered it to him again. So, he walked the package down the street to me and on the box, my correct address was on it. He even taped a second note in bold permanent ink with my correct address on it. Now I'm extremely worried about the 3 packages of live plants that are in route. I called and they said "it will be fixed" but then when I checked the tracking, it said re-routed per recipients instructions. I have a feeling they are going to get it severely wrong again. But now I have learned to NEVER use them again or try my hardest not too for deliveries.

Desired outcome: That they deliver to the correct address listed on the packages.

UPS Stolen delivery

I was expecting UPS to come to my house to pick up a package they damaged in transit, coming from Thailand. They were informed I wasn't going to be home to release the damaged package for a week . They sent the driver, even though they new I wasn't going to be home, 2 times.

At the same time, I was expecting another package, from a totally different company, which I received 10/20, when I wasn`t home. The driver delivered the package at the door, and 1 min later, he pick it up back, the same package he had just delivered, to use it as the one he had to return days before.

The package delivered, it shows as delivered on their system, even though the package was taken away 1 minute after it was delivered.

After talking to no less than 20 agents, different days, nobody was able to fix the problem. They just keep sending me from person to person, supervisors, but the supervisor were more ignorant than the clerk themselves.

UPS is a total disappointment and disaster, they lost control of their operation.

To talk to an agent, is almost impossible with their automated phone system, which is very inefficient. Horror!

I couldn't file the claim on line, nor any of the agents was helpful enough to help me in filing the claim by phone.

Desired outcome: My solution at this point, is to have them pay for the stolen package by their driver, and to send me a new return label to send back the damaged package to the supplier in Thailand.

UPS Lost package

UPS lost my package one year ago, I sent it on the 05/10/2022 from France and it was supposed to arrive on the 11/10/2022. I didn't receive any message that it was delivered. On the 17/10/2022 I checked on the website and it was said that it was there. My boyfriend went there and it wasn't. I checked again and it seems that someone took my package without my authorization and lost it.

What I have been through this whole year is disrespectful and unacceptable. Worst customer service ever. Dozens of emails. Nobody has anwers. Nobody can help. Different informations. I went to UPS in Utrecht and it was even worse because in their computer they had different informations that appears in mine. I send emails and they are always asking for something more. They couldn't open an investigation for me, it took months for me to do it. They just stop to respond my emails. I want the money of my box, I want at least the money of everything that was inside it, I should receive much more and I should sue UPS for allowing someone not authorized take my box and for loosing it.

I have to repeat: worst service ever, worst customer service ever, disrespecful, unacceptable and untrustable.

UPS Delivery delays/broken products

On October 11, I ordered a phone from Boost Mobile, and it was shipped to the wrong location. If this was the first or second time, I might say it’s a coincidence, but since it was the fourth time, it’s a pattern. The same thing happened with my last three orders, and one of them was a computer that when delivered, the box was opened and the screen smashed.

When I call them to get resolution, I’m am consistently gaslit and offered no help. They refuse to connect me to a supervisor and hang up on me. I have all of these conversations recorded. They need to be held accountable.

Desired outcome: I want them to take accountability for the fact that they are doing this on purpose.

UPS Speeding driver

There are UPS drivers, that are speeding through our neighborhood, right past and 25 MPH flashing sign, in fact they are traveling over 35 because the sign won't flash any higher speed than that. But there are 2 very clear NON FLASHING signs that say 25 MPH. The road is very narrow, so speeding is putting everyone at Risk!

I just reported this via your customer service number, and the person didn't take my complaint seriously. Actually laughed. Here's the thing, I asked one of your drivers if he knew what the speed was on Lotzgesell Rd, (we live on the corner of Lotzgesell Rd, and Northview Ln, in Sequim WA) The driver said he honestly had no idea what the speed was. I told him it is 25 MPH, to which he replied, "oh geez, I have been doing closer to 45 MPH". This driver has since slowed way down, but he is not the only driver out here! Your trucks are BIG and LOUD no matter but when you add speed to that, going through a neighborhood. It feels/sounds like they are coming right through the house. Aside from being dangerous, think of your company's liability. 20 over is actually negligent driving! SLOW your drivers down!

Desired outcome: SLOW YOUR DRIVERS DOWN. THEY ARE DANGEROUS! YOUR NAME IS ON THAT TRUCK, WHICH MAKES YOU RESPOSIBLE, SO DO THE RIGHT THING!

UPS unauthorized credit card charge

I had a package shipped with UPS which I had taken to the nearest ups pick up to have it measured and shipped. which is a t CVS .

They said the package was to big to be kept there so I went home and printed the label online and paid for it. Several days late there was an additional charge to my debit card . This was back in May , I called explained the situation and was told I would receive a refund of $44.73 and they sent an email verify that I would receive it in 3-5 business days .Today is Oct 7th after repeated calls I still have no refund. When I went to the bank to dispute the charge UPS told the bank they refunded me already which never happened.

UPS A disappointing experience with ups customer service

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to interact with UPS customer service, and I can confidently say that it was the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. The frustration and disappointment I encountered during this process were unparalleled.

My issues began when I needed to track a package that was delayed and seemed to have gone missing in the UPS system. I reached out to their customer service hotline, hoping for a quick resolution. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed as soon as I connected with one of their representatives.

The representative I spoke with seemed disinterested and unhelpful from the start. They provided vague and contradictory information about the whereabouts of my package, leaving me more confused than when I initially called. It was evident that they lacked the knowledge and training needed to address customer concerns effectively.

What made the experience even more infuriating was the long wait times on hold. I spent what felt like hours listening to automated messages and repetitive hold music before finally getting through to a representative, only to be met with apathy and a lack of assistance.

To make matters worse, when I requested to speak to a supervisor to escalate my issue, I was met with resistance and told that a supervisor wasn't available. This only added to my frustration and sense of powerlessness as a customer.

In the end, my issue remained unresolved, and I was left with no choice but to continue waiting and hoping for a miracle to happen with my package. UPS's complete lack of customer service professionalism, knowledge, and empathy has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated.

In summary, my experience with UPS customer service was abysmal. I wouldn't wish this level of frustration and disappointment on anyone. It's clear that UPS needs to invest in improving their customer service training and support systems to ensure that customers are treated with the respect and assistance they deserve. Until then, I would caution anyone relying on UPS for their shipping needs to be prepared for potential headaches and disappointments when seeking help from their customer service team.

UPS 10lbs+ package went missing! Stolen!

I use to trust UPS to deliver whatever package I need to be delivered but not after my most recent missing package.

I can't see how a package weighing 10+ pounds disapper in mid air!

This my second such incident but thinking after a 2 year break things would have changed CERTAINLY NOT.

I know they stole that package somebody got a slight smell of that good Jamaican seasoning..opened the package and saw a box full of GOLD and stole it! This package was very personal to me and meant alot that the recipient received it.

Unnu too WICKED and God don't like ugly!

For the person or person that stole it eat your dalmatian, choke on that jerk seasoning and snacks and the other items in there!

If you're thinking of using UPS save yourself the heartache DON'T DO IT! find another company to ship with.

Desired outcome: No compensation could make me feel better than my recipient receiving their package. I'm truly 💔

UPS Package

Hi My friend po kse ako na ngsend ng package sakanya at my laman din na cash worth of 5,000 dollars sa package hinaharang ng customs at humihinge ng 10k maliban pa dun nkapabigay na sya shipping airlines ng 2k para sa charges at 4k dahil ng overweight daw yung package last yung 10k na hinhinge dw ng customs. thru gcash nya po binayaran sana po matulungan nyo kaibigan ko.

UPS Billing

Ups charged us $1,826.26 for wrong measurements through pay pal. Then proceeded to charge us $1,468.75 through ebay. They are only taking money from honest people. So we had one charge of $1,826.26 and another charge for $1,468.75. Taking from honest people but can't deliver a package without damaging it. I have seen workers throw the packages like nothing.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund.
