Tim Hortons / coffee price difference

Review updated:

So we visit Camrose Alberta for a musical festival and went to the local Tim Hortons, and the price of the large coffee was more than at home, in Ponoka and Whitecourt. We are confused on why the price at one place is different. Yes not a lot of difference however over a period of time it would add up. Just curious is all. Cost us 2.00 for and in Camrose 2.05. Seems odd!

Thank you,

It's a franchise, prices are determined by the owner of that particular building. Prices can differ dramatically from one place to another. My local McDonald's charges $1 for a sausage Mc muffin or hashbrowns, but when I went two towns over the price went up to $1.79 for a sausage Mc muffin and $1.69 for hashbrowns.
