The most horrible taste in my mouth. This is not (American) Chinese food ever
I felt LIKE THROWING UP. The rice was incredibly tasteless (disgusting) and over cooked, not enough food in the entrees the spring rolls hard & cold and etc.. etc. The RICE actually MADE ME FEEL LIKE THROWING UP even after spitting it out. I’ve tasted Chinese cuisine all over the USA authentic and commercial nonetheless, this is the MOST HORRIBLE Chinese American food I’ve ever ever tasted in my life (I’m 65 yrs old). I DID NOT let my family eat this DISGUSTING PANDA EXPRESS FOOD. I will never ever think to eat PANDA EXPRESS food in the future nor will I ever suggest PANDA EXPRESS food.. ABSOLUTELY NOT TO EAT.. PANDA EXPRESS FOOD.
Recommendation: EAT PANDA EXPRESS take out you may get sick !
Orange Chicken
Stopped by panda express yesterday afternoon and purchased orange chicken for my husband and I. It was so good, the rice was fluffy, and the chicken was crispy. The orange sauce was delicious. Didn't like the crab Rangoon though.
5 star
I came though the drive thru and my card kept declining. They helped me out so much. When I say they gave me the sweetest reaction. They handed me my food and said it's okay just take it. Thank you guys so much for being so kind.
Food and service
I went to the panda in the Scottsdale Pavilions. The food was meh but the service from Iris was fantastic. She was very busy with a line of people out the door she did what she could while working with those who stand around chit chatting.
What happened to the good food?
The first time I went to Panda Express it was hot, fresh and delicious. The last two times the food was questionable. Rice and noodles were hard and the entres tasted like they had been left under a heating lammp for hours. Are you guys serving us old food cuz it sure as h*** tastes like it.Two thumbs boooo
Why does it cost so much now
I used to eat here maybe three four times a month. Now barely once. Too much $! Do I need a bag to dine in? Let's fix this plastic bag issue to everyone that eats here. Here or to go. Should solve this. Why isn't the food consistent at all locations. Some taste powdery and others are just different. Please advise.
Service and food were great
I wanted to call out Tarun (I hope I spelled his name right!?) at Panda Express on Ames. Great guy, joked with us, exceptionally friendly. He refused a tip (they can't accept them) so I wanted to make sure he's mentioned. Even had the food been sub par (it wasnt; it was great), his attitude and friendliness would've made up for it! Rare qualities now-a-days!
A "qualified" 5 stars
O. K. it's not a 3 Star Michelin (if that makes sense to you... good. If not, that's OK too).
Simply, for fast food, I love this place. Now, I like Taco Bell too... just to give you a reference for this review.
Food is always hot and plentiful... pricing is fair. Authentic Chinese(?)... who cares... it's fast food. Similar to how Taco Bell is authentic Mexican faire 8^). Ummm, yeaaaaa... you bet!
Nonetheless, acknowledging the restaurant type, give it a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
Riverwind P-Xpress Price, Taste, Service 1 BIG PLATE 8/3/22
Price is great with current economic rates for eating out. Compared to Burger King, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A, the proportions at Panda are much much better and ingredients sooo good tasty. Food served at this hour was hot (not just warm)! Panda Express #1877 receipt is poor poor quality and I can't even make a readable photo nor sign into the survey numbers 8/3/22; order *** server

Best Chinese food Ever
I can't say anything about other's experiences with this food chain, however the one were I live out in Calgary AB is phenomenal. Well managed, good staff, and most importantly good food. U know it's the only Chinese restaurant locally that gives out discounts & special promo's to get they're customer base back, & they try really hard to ensure that everything is stocked full at all hr's of the day, so I respect that. Either way I'm not really phased if they run out of a dish I wanted as all their food is great so I just pick something else instead, no big deal right?
Anyway you get good portions here like probably double of what you would get anywhere else & the prices are very reasonable. I compare them to Costco's food court. Staff's great too they're like family to me.
Good food / trained employee with abdominal trust
Panda Express is the best Chinese food.
Friday June /24/2017around 5 pm. I went to Panda Express at Huebner / San Antonio Tx. I tried the new beef bejin. It was delicious. 5 minutes later a piece of meat got stuck into my throth. At first I thought I can cough it up. Then I couldn't breath anymore. I jump out of my chair and want it yo tel Soneone to call 911. I couldn't. I was embarrassed but I see a gentleman that was cleaning the table. At that point I know I dint have time to waste. I went to him and I pull his hand and show him my throth and the sign of abdominal trust. At first he was looking at me and then imediatley trow the things that have on his hand and beggin abdominal trust. I feel that the meat moved up and I stuck my finger and pull it out.
What I want yo say, thank God, thank to that gentleman and the owner / manager that they trained there personal to know how to react in case of this incident.

Inconsistent entry ky
I went to the location on the campus of Western Kentucky University and purchased a bowl with fried rice and orange chicken. This location underserves the main entrée. I receive less chicken than the other publuc location in Bowling Green, KY. I never leave the public location hungry and routinely do from this campus location. It seems to depend on the worker dipping the meat.
Recommendation: Go off campus when possible.

Customer service
Dear Panda Express Customer Relations, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a very poor experience I had at Panda Express location #3668 in Frisco, TX, on May 29, 2025, around 5:00 PM. This location has always been one of my favorites, and I even drove over 10 miles specifically to eat there. Unfortunately, I was served dry chicken that had...

Not enough choices. Noodles were dry and crispy. Noodles should be soft and have some flavor. All other choices were BAD. I wish I could get a refund! I will not ever return! Food was cold and tasteless. Employees were cold and rude. Yuck 🤮 Not my idea of a good Chinese restaurant. I just can’t express how disappointed I was after waiting so long to eat “good” Chinese food! This was definitely not anywhere close to good!

Limited choices. Dry and tasteless food. I don’t like anything they served. WILL NOT BE BACK! 🤮
As always, Panda Express provided substandard food which was bland and lacking taste alongside rude service. They rushed to serve food, rather than take the time to prepare quality meals. You are better off forgetting ever going there and eating authentic Chinese food somwhere else.

Shrimp
We absolutely loved a shrimp dish you had for quite awhile. Now the only shrimp dishes are the Firecracker Shrimp which is way too spicy for us and the honey walnut shrimp which is too sweet as I am diabetic. Is there any chance you will be bringing back the dish we loved? I don't recall the specfic name of the shrimp dish

Tonight I went to my local Panda Express in Redmond, Oregon. I have to tell you I feel cheated. I was standing in line to be served. The person in front of me ordered a 2 side plate. He got two large spoon fulls of each side. When it was my turn I was given one small spoon full of each side. The 2 side plate he got was 1/2 again as large as my 3 side plate. My question to you is how much should each of us have received? Was I cheated or was the person in front of me given greater portions than they should have been given? While I really enjoy your food, I do not enjoy feeling cheated when I leave, and if I don't feel good with your response I suppose I'll find another place to take my business.

Order delivered to wrong address/no refund
On February 15, 2024, I ordered from the 39718 LBJ Freeway 75237 location.
But my order was delivered to the wrong address.
I was told by an employee from this location that I would receive a complete refund, but I have not received any refund in over a month.
Wells Fargo is looking into my complaint, and I also gave this location a very negative review with the BBB. I was surprised to see that others have complained about the lack of customer service.
Shame on you! I will never to business with you again, and I will let others know about my horrible experience.

Donations collected at fresno panda express restaurants
If valley children’s can pay $5m to ceo, it can probably do without my spare change | opinion by marek warszawski updated march 22, 2024 4:30 pm penny duarte, 10, sells kids day newspapers with her father pete duarte at the corner of friant and audubon in fresno on tuesday, march 12, 2024. Craig kohlruss [protected]@fresnobee.com my total for a three-item combo at panda express came out to $14.14, including a $1.50 mark up for honey walnut shrimp. The cashier made eye contact and asked if I “would like” to round up the total. “as a donation to valley children’s,” he added. With barely a thought, my head reflexively nodded yes. Of course i’ll donate to valley children’s hospital, something many of us living here are practically conditioned to do. Happy to hand over those 86 cents. May they be used to help treat a sick kid. Top videos top videos 00:20 01:30 o-iza will offer unique, modern style japanese cuisinein fresno never once did I consider that my small contribution, once it winds up in the coffers of one of the fresno region’s most hallowed institutions, could be directed toward some other purpose. Such as helping valley children’s hospital fund the lavish salaries, bonuses and perks of ceo todd suntrapak and other top executives, which far exceed those at other major children’s hospitals, or get parked in offshore investment accounts. Opinion while settling up at panda express, none of that ever crossed my mind. It will now. And surely i’m not the only one having similar thoughts. How much does valley children’s collect from local consumers of mediocre chain-restaurant chinese food like myself? The hospital helpfully provided an answer to that question on facebook. In a february post, hospital executives can be seen accepting a ceremonial check from panda express in the amount of $627,302 — the previous year’s total donation. Since 2009, the restaurant’s customers and employees have raised more than $5.3 million. That’s just about what suntrapak received in total compensation in both 2020 ($5.5 million) and 2021 ($5.1 million), according to the hospital’s unearthed tax returns. More than double the $2.1 million he made in 2019. The hospital, in 2021, also gave suntrapak a $5 million loan, termed a “retention incentive,” toward the purchase of an even more expensive house in carmel. Hospital higher-ups shared in the largesse. Five senior vice presidents were paid in excess of $1 million in 2020 and 2021, while 22 other executives made more than $300,000 in 2021. Included in that group is clovis mayor lynne ashbeck, who earned more than $800,000. Feeling of betrayal i’m not someone who gets upset about the high earnings of professional athletes, actors, musicians and business executives. People that make a lot of money generally get paid what the market says they’re worth. But when those executives work for a children’s hospital located in one of california’s poorest regions that consistently has its hand out for donations, it’s impossible for regular folk who forgo their change at panda express, purchase a coupon at the supermarket checkout and fork over $2 for a kids day newspaper not to feel betrayed. (the bee is a longtime co-sponsor of kids day, though our involvement has lessened since the pandemic.) if valley children’s is so drenched with cash, why are volunteers standing out on street corners selling papers in the rain? “politicians joined residents to peddle newspapers on dangerous street corners whether it rained, it shined, or there was a pandemic,” fresno city councilmember miguel arias said in response to the revelations. “yet what we’ve learned is that valley children’s failed to disclose to us and everyone else volunteering that it was spending 12 years worth of kids day funds to buy one executive a home in carmel.” that’s the thing about trust. It takes a long time to earn, but can be shattered in an instant. Valley children’s president and ceo todd suntrapak. John walker fresno bee file if valley children’s execs were helping write this, they would want me to point out that salaries and marketing expenses (including the $10 million naming-rights deal to fresno state’s football stadium) are paid from the hospital’s revenue streams rather than donor funds. Two completely separate income buckets. While that might be true, it’s a technicality more relevant to a tax accountant than to the typical person waiting to get rung up for fast casual chinese food. We can’t help but connect the mental dots from our small contributions to those exorbitant salaries. That isn’t to say the next time the panda express cashier asks if I “would like” to donate my change the response will be a definite “no.” more so a question that used to be automatic now presents a quandary. Valley children’s won’t miss a few nickels and dimes. The incalculable amount of community goodwill the hospital has lost won’t be as easy to recoup. Service at Copperas Cove, TX 76522 Location
I was told to put special instructions in when I order online to ensure that what my husband likes, that I am highly allergic to, is separate from our shared items. However, the special instructions section has a limited character input to transfer to the location. Only 3.5 words were transferred to the store. When I alerted the window attendant that the SweetFire Chicken was to be in a separate container due to a food allergy she said it could be fixed, Then scraped it out (partially) put the kung pao chicken in its place and gave me the
bag with the food container completely sideways and leaking everywhere. When I called the store the person who answered the phone would not listen to me, yelled at me about ordering something I have an allergy to and insisted that I had not placed an order (order #[protected]). The woman on the phone continued to argue and cut me off, not listening to the point that my husband became upset. I had already taken a bite of the food when we realized that it was contaminated with an allergen for me...my tongue and face became numb and I started having difficulty breathing. When I went to the location to talk with a manager the woman from the phone confronted me and again would not listen to me, raising her voice and accusing me of being rude; when she was not listening to a word I said. The manager, Danielle came to speak to me and the other woman continued to interrupt. Danielle tried to give me a refund yet she was unable to...she gave me a customer service # yet I received a message (repeatedly) that the # was not currently in service.
I do not want another meal. I want a refund. This is not the first-time cross contamination has happened, but it is the first time I have been treated poorly when I brought it to the attention of the persons working. I believe the woman's name was Alex - she needs an extreme lesson in listening to the customer - I have never been treated so poorly. Danielle tried to rectify the issue.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund. The special instructions field needs to be expanded so that the store receives the complete instructions. Danyel [protected]@gmail.com

Beef and broccoli
I ordered two orders on Beef And Broccoli, one plate and one bowl on 2-9-24 at 8:00pm in the drive thru from the Festus Missouri store. I checked my bag before leaving and the bowl was not in there. I contacted the young female at the window and told her, she found the bowl sitting there and gave it to me. (Not a good attitude)
Upon arriving home I opened my plate and there were only five small pieces of beef in the entire meal. I couldn’t believe it, my wife then opened her bowl which was half full and she had two small pieces. Now this isn’t the first time I receive a substandard product or service from this store but I can gauruntee it will be the last.

Food quality issues
I eat at the local Panda Express restaurant in Columbus Indiana at least 1 or 2 x a week and the last couple of times my chicken was under cooked plus I had to wait over an hour for my food because they had nothing prepared. They were out of everything but didn't bother to tell how long it was going to take before charging me for the food. Then forgot about me and ran out of what I ordered again before finally giving me my order. Then the food was under cooked and no one offered me anything for my time waiting and food that was not even edible! I spent almost 50.00 dollars per order the last 2 times I was there providing for myself and other coworkers and to not even get my food replaced because I couldn't come right back. Is ridiculous. I couldn't come back because I was working and this was supposed to be for lunch. I just want to be respected as a customer and have my issues be considered important

My order was not good — fried rice and serving of broccoli beef.
I have provided my order receipt which was an online order and picked up.
The fried rice was the worst I have ever had at Panda. I have been a customer for years and have never had a bad order util yesterday. The rice was mixed new rice with an old batch. Part was overcooked-- mushy like rice pudding along with undercooked rice and crunchy. I was so bad I was unable to finish it. I was not able to return to the store to get a refund or I would have. The broccoli beef was all broccoli and one small piece of beef. There was little attention to the quality I expect from your restaurant.

Disappointing Mixed Vegetables, OVERALL QUALITY OF THE FOOD - MARGINAL
I have been a customer of Panda and Panda Express for many years and have noticed how you have completely removed almost all the Mixed Vegetables. Now you are offering Broccoli and Cabbage ONLY for the mixed vegetables. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED and plan on writing to my 300,000 Blog Readers, how Panda is sacrificing customer satisfaction and quality for more profit. Even if I only influence a small percentage of my Blog Readers, I will have done my job. Also, overall the QUALITY of your dishes have decreased from what you offered initially. Your food offering is MARGINAL. You have eliminated a number of dishes that were favorites, again to increase your profit margin. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Thank you for bringing this to the attention of your CEO, President, etc...
Desired outcome: Please ADD the following vegetables to your Mixed Vegetable dish: Broccoli, Green Beans, Carrots, Mushrooms, especially Rei Shi and Maitake Mushrooms, Water Chestnuts, Pea Pods, Spinach.
The QUALITY of your dishes have decreased from what you offered initially. You have eliminated a number of dishes that were favorites, again to increase your profit margin. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and I am sure you have lost customers, and will continue to lose customers. Your Mixed Vegetables dish is missing Mixed Vegetables. To offer Broccoli and Cabbage as mixed veggies is a joke. I suggest you ADD the following vegetables to your Mixed Vegetable dish: Broccoli, Green Beans, Carrots, Mushrooms, especially Rei Shi and Maitake Mushrooms, Water Chestnuts, Pea Pods, Spinach. Thank you for bringing my Disappointment to the attention of your CEO, President, etc...
