Rent-A-Center washer and dryer

I've been at Rent-A-Center customer for a little over a year now I was a few days late making my payment these people have called everybody that was in my circle telling my family that you know where she's at she needs to contact us All over $32 and I was just a few days late. And when I asked the guy to stop calling my daughter who is a college student and stop being disrespectful towards her he had the nerve to tell me that he wasn't been disrespectful and my daughter forward me the text and I'm pretty sure if a grown person takes to his child that he would be upset as well so I will be taking my business somewhere else and when I asked what his name was he refused to tell me. So I told him he was a coward behind an email and a text. And this is the Rent-A-Center on Forest Lane in Dallas Texas

Rent-A-Center sofa

employees give out my information to somebody not living in the household, I didn't ask for ID didn't ask for any names, and when I asked about customer confidentiality he tried lying to me and saying that they didn't say anything about the account, but I have witnesses to say that they did. I was also hung up on twice, even though I was trying to pay my bill. I would really appreciate a call back

Rent-A-Center blk ss 5.0cf tl lg washer & 7.3cf

My name is Barbara Howel, I've been a customer with Rent A Center for quit sometime. Spent alot of money. A few months back i had a problem with my washing machine.. It took them like 3 weeks before it was picked up to be worked on. The had my washing machine for 2 months kept getting told the employee that fixed their appliances ony comes up once a month to fix things. Which I think is not right. 2 months went by. After me asking about my washing machine constantly thet finally contacted me let me know it was ready. After that it took another two weeks to deliver it to my house. When they delivered it I realized that it had scratches all over the top, had a screw cover missing, AND A HUGE DENT ON THE FRONT OF IT. I called them and informed them of the situation, I was told they would have to come and take photos of it. It has been a week abd no one has showen up. But when it comes to me HAVING TO MAKE A PAYMENT, their blowing up my phone throughout the day more than 5 times. I already own my kitchen set, my livingroom couch & love seat, and a Television that was $3, 000. I dont appreciate the responses I'm receiving. Rent-A-Center employee

You have a very ride man working at this store I've been a customer for a while now and never have missed a payment they called my husband phone got nasty so he went to the store to let them know I would be doing a double payment and the employee got nasty and your manager was standing to there listen to him speak to a customer like that said he would put my husband in the hospital he has PTSD and Know one would say a word to him this is unacceptable 😠

Rent-A-Center the manager

Hi I e been having a lot of problems with the manager at the rent a center in Elkins wv we have bought tons of stuff and lately he has been ripping me off charging me more then wut was agreed on contract and sold me tools that was missing tools in it and had been very rude and we had offer coupons and a credit paper where we have bought something from the other store and had to return it where it was defected and Brandon the manager was not accept it and it stated that it would go on the next or existing contract I dont know how to handle this situation would u please help me and contact me at [protected]

Rent-A-Center bedroom set

There was an little issue with payment which this is my first time ever having this issue. I'm a loyal customer I've been with rent a center for a while now. I have been in and out the hospital with health issues and was until able to work and make a payment. I finally went back to work and just wasn't able to make a payment today considering I did say a few days ago I would be there on a certain date. Things happened and I got called in to work. Marissa got very smart with me over the phone when I told her I was at work . Her comment was stated she cant wait until Tuesday to see me because I wasnt able to come in today and she keep saying she helped me out, was very sarcastic and not professional . I tried to tell her I was at work and had to step out to answer the phone but her and another employee refused to let me explain myself . They was very rude and disrespectful and she was mainly the one getting disrespectful! When I asked her I would like to talk to her boss she refused to give me information to do so. I found this page on line. I'm a nice customer and understand y'all have a policy to go by but if a customer has an issue or something might happen they should at least hear the customer out and find a solution that can help. Besides they gave me a used bedroom set and still till this day they saying it isn't used but they have tape on the bottom .

Rent-A-Center missing furniture and lied to

We purchased furniture from rent a center in September, a bedroom Suite, mattress and a couch and loveseat. When we purchased they promised us a extra night stand because there was one in the back. Well when they arrived to set it up we were missing the two night stands and the chest of drawers. They have promised for a month and a half to get it to us and never received it. Not only that when they brought the couches they were covered in long white dog hair and dog slobber and also the bottom was completely ripped and they said to just staple it back together and were charging us 1400 for these nasty messed up couches. Also I have asked for a week to stop our payment last Friday until we got everything straightened out since we were going to give the bedroom suite back and they never did and I asked several times to refund the money and we was lied to every time and was told they would reverse it. So these people are very unprofessional and I told them to come get it all. I will never do business with rent a center again!

Rent-A-Center stereo receiver

We get insurance on everything we get through Rent a Center.We sent in our reciever almost 7 months ago.We were advised 3 months ago that main board was shot and would be replaced.6 weeks go by, nothing.told they would have to get us a new reciever. 2 months later, still waiting Why is customer service NOT a priority?Insurance is in place for a reason, we are paying for a service that is not being delivered by the company

Rent-A-Center game console

Yes I ive been overcharged n harrass on payments I keep payinv on time no past due bills.. Ive discuss the matters.. N no help.. I now want to return this merchandise n cut my strings.. I want these matters handled I want either my money back or cops involved for harrassment. I didnt like be played a fool.. When I tried to resolved these matters.. First my payments were weekly changed bi-weekly then over charged for insurance I never asked for.

Rent-A-Center bedroom set

I have been a LOYAL customer at this location and ON TIME with ALL my payments. The manager (Evilio) and his staff were accurate, upfront and cooperative with ALL agreement I've done with him and his staff. I took out an Agreement in May, 2019 on a bedroom set as I was having surgery. I made an agreement with the NEW staff for reasonable payments, ONLY to find that the app had not alerted me that I am soon to be finish because it stated i had 8 more payments which was NOT the agreement. I then called RENT A CENTER and he advised me that it was a mistake and i had until the 4th of November 2019 to pay $230.00 or i would have to pay the normal price. WOW

Rent-A-Center bedroom

I've been a customer a few years and paid off a few items. I have one more item to pay off I've been financially strained because I lost my husband and fell behind now I'm current. My neighbour called me the other day and notified me that my front door was decorated with flyers. This is [censored]ing unacceptable and embarrassing! A few months ago flyers were left on MY car. I wasn't there! I'm contacting every new station about this situation

Rent-A-Center customer service

I am currently a rent a center customer. But at this point i'm taking my business else where. I am dissatisfied with the way they speak to their customers. I
called in to let them know I would be late with my payment due my husband being unable to work due to his truck being in the repair shop. He is a truck driver and was unable to work because of this issue. He has since returned to work. However, even the couple times my payment has been one or 2 days late, I am spoken to in a rude, inconsiderate and threatening manner. I explained that my app wasn't working an I don't have a car, so id have to need till 4 pm tomorrow to walk the payment there. I also explained the colder weather makes it impossible at times to get to the store. The store manager Brenda still refused to listen to me and began verbally belittling me on the phone. I do not appreciate being spoken to as though I am a child. I had other reason other than my husband was out of work for that time. I had to make an emergency trip to Texas my uncle is dying of cancer. Please look in to this as this is no way to treat customers when life throws a curve ball. I will be taking my business else where. Where I won't be treated this badly.

Rent-A-Center ashley baystorm bedroom set with/king mattress

My husband and I bought a bedroom set in or about 2/2019. We went to Texas from The end of March till July 11, 2019. We have been back sleeping in the bed since then. Since 9/19 my husband and I both experienced back pain. As I changed the linens on the bed I noticed a dip in the bed. I put a string on the bed and it was way off. On 10/19 we went to rent a center and asked them how to use our warranty, the salesman, who set the mattress up told us when he installed it he forgot to put the middle slate on the bed. He said he would switch it out for a better mattress and it would cost 200 more and he would provide a different frame. He called around and found one King mattress down south and we told him we work and the bed is very uncomfortable. My husband called again on Wednesday to find out we're the mattress is and complain we should not have to pay the 200 as we would never be complaining had the bed been put together correctly. So in the meantime as we wait we are extremely uncomfortable. Have doctors bills from the last two weeks and missed work for a day. We still have not been given a time or date of delivery. There are a few other issues we've had with them and I complaining as I will never purchase anything from rentacenter again. Nor would I recommend to my friends and family.

Rent-A-Center tv

They made a mistake at my job so i didnt got pay when my job(public schools closed the summer)Ms Maritza so professional as well Ms Olga this was the store at 161 st (they closet down)I was late for about 3 to 4 weeks I did everything I could aince I did not have an income I send my kids to their fathers house until I resolve my financial situation. I send the tv with the kids so they can use you tube and for the ps4. Ms Olga couldnt wait anymore she stated they were closing down so I had to wait for my exhusband to come to the Bronx and he did . In all of this Ms Olga was unprofesional when I explained that I didnt get no child support since she pass the line and gave an opinion out of place. Rent a center game for the tv and sofa which the sofa zipper broke and never was fixed due that I work worked before vacation from 9 to 5 and the man said he coulnd come saturdays. I went back to work got all my money I called Ms Olga at her new location she said she cant help because My account was transfer to 148 st and willis in the Bronx I called spoke to Ms Rose Gave her all information of the same reference I called the next day another person answer my call and said Ms Rose was busy 2 days she never called me when I called this Mr Jay said that was an issue with my aplication and when I asked to speak to Ms Rose at 148st and Willis she never answer my calls.MY question where is my TV and if they feel I owe what they dont charge me and why they denied me service. Me and my mother have been getting harassment from Supervisor Shane. We call in letting him know that we are going to be late on our payments and if he hold on a other week and I just take over my mother account and never got told how much it was going to be and now I'm at work and Shane is saying smart remarks to me

Rent-A-Center my payment date being moved without notice

So when I got the tv that I have from them. I was told 6 months same as cash. No problem. So we keep the tv. For a few weeks I look back at this so called contract. And it liat out payments. So I do the math I would be paying 7 tine what the tv is worth through them
How is this 6 months same as cash.?
On top of this. Now i'm told via phone call that my payment date has been removed to a monday. When I clearly told them I do not get paid until friday. So I want my day on saturday. He said no problem. But why all of sudden am I being told you are late we moved your payment date to a monday.. Freaking rip off.

Rent-A-Center informative/miscommunications

I have went in to this location on multiple occasions and each time I talk to a different person, they all tell me different information and policies. When the television set was first delivered there was issues with me giving them my ID, which was no problem but they didn't ask for it when I was in there earlier that day; they waited until I was at work and when they delivered it and then took it back. HUGE INCONVENIENCE, I shouldn't have to go in 3 times in one day to get one thing completed.
Now on October 7th, my first payment is due and my autopay didn't go through over the weekend, I called first thing this morning and told them I would be in to pay ONE WEEK and update my autopay because there was an issue with my card, my pay day isn't until 2 days away and then I would be in to pay another 2 weeks on top of that. They told me it would be $30 for a 2 week period to get me to the 19th of October, but it was okay if I only paid one. When I arrived at the store to pay, "Brock" told me I wouldn't be able to pay only one week and that they would have to come pick up if I didn't pay the full $30. I tried to give him $20 of the $30 and he refused to take my payment. I am disappointed and furious to say the least. This is unprofessional and no way to do business.
If customers are not able to pay weekly, why are they quoted weekly prices? My pay date is only 2 days away and he refused my payment I did have for the week that is due. ONLY one week is due!

Rent-A-Center laptop

I'm NOT going to recommend this store to anyone! They are a rip off!

I gave them my credit card number for them to take out my monthly payment and I was never notified by phone call, email, letter or anything saying my payment never went through.

Then on the 25th of September I get a letter saying I have refused to make a payment on the laptop. How could I when I was never notified that the payment never went through?

I called them and they called me back and I got hung up on. Called back and told me there is nothing they can do that they want the laptop back!

This company charges too much for number two.

I'm not a happy camper and I wanted to let everyone know about this company and how they will take your money

Very unprofessional in customer service since I have been a customer service representative for over 15 years

I have seen them throw pillows in a dirty truck and not even protect them

Rent-A-Center rent a center

I been harassed by them they called my family, friends, my job. One man from there even peeked through my window while I was get out the shower. They turned my locks on my door to see if they could get in. The question my 12 year old son. They even asks him to open the door for them. He even told them my parents not home. They comes by my house and set all day sometimes. Call me all day until I had to block the calls. Sending threats to lock me up. I paid most of the stuff off only own 3, 500. Was going to just give it back but when that man looked throw my window. I said now they could take me to court.

Rent-A-Center manager monique

I was currently employed there as of today yes I left my job due to the harrasment of the manager very unproffesional as I told nellissa today and martha please be advised that monique is very very disrespectful when district is not around not only to me but everyone I just wish I hope everyone would come forward after what I dealt with today I do not want it to happen to the next person, I was told when I do credit calls I was ignorant that no one likes me and when I had enough I put in my 2weeks to monique she clapped her hands and said yay im so happy,,, wow what a way to handle a buisiness to a coworker or anyone for that matter, like I stated u do not know how this lady flips out on me she has like 5 different personalitys seriously,, I wanted to continue a career there but unfortunately it seems unstabbled there I hope one day district see's and hears what I do with the manager I feel shes a lil timid by me because I go to show my knowledge for what ive known for 6 years in the rent to own buisiness and she pretty much, downsgrade me for it instead of letting me do a proffessional job, good luck at the ionia store or where ever she goes I hope she is caught in the act so the next person she has an issue with is not down graded by being called ignorant, we just had a meeting with mellissa yesterday and everything seemed fine but she went out of control on 2.5 seconds after district left... When martha and mellissa are around I loved the enviorment very much it was the way it should be but unfortunately with monique its not its too much drama fir what ever she has against me, thats fine I moved on noone should have to deal with what I dealt with. I understand martha when she says that monique has never done that around her well acourse she hasnt she has a different personality around district, so just giving a heads up, with what I dealt with..
