I am currently a rent a center customer. But at this point i'm taking my business else where. I am dissatisfied with the way they speak to their customers. I
called in to let them know I would be late with my payment due my husband being unable to work due to his truck being in the repair shop. He is a truck driver and was unable to work because of this issue. He has since returned to work. However, even the couple times my payment has been one or 2 days late, I am spoken to in a rude, inconsiderate and threatening manner. I explained that my app wasn't working an I don't have a car, so id have to need till 4 pm tomorrow to walk the payment there. I also explained the colder weather makes it impossible at times to get to the store. The store manager Brenda still refused to listen to me and began verbally belittling me on the phone. I do not appreciate being spoken to as though I am a child. I had other reason other than my husband was out of work for that time. I had to make an emergency trip to Texas my uncle is dying of cancer. Please look in to this as this is no way to treat customers when life throws a curve ball. I will be taking my business else where. Where I won't be treated this badly.
