Rent-A-Center we never rented a dryer and they said we did

We only rented 3 laptops from this store gave 2 back and payed for one total and haven't been since last year we haven't got a dryer from you all ever and got accused of having got one on my account I never got a dryer ever from you and you need to show proof I signed some contract for a dryer well there is no contract cause I never signed one my name is Danny Payne I live in hahira my address is 7616 pash place hahira georgia 31632 and I will never rent from you all again! Rent-A-Center payments/ agreement/ entering home with minors

Today I experience an awful and illegal situation with Rent a Center. First off I been a customer with them since 2011, done paid more than need to for whole furniture, entertainment and TVs from them. I talked to the Manager Pam last week and paid off my couch, I also am paying on a TV. I was some weeks behind but after discussing with manager she told me that I had to pay $50 which would be due today. I left the house to make a errands run which I left my 13, 12 and 11 yr old home. I get a call from my oldest stating that a guy from Rent a Center came in the house telling him that a payment needs to made. How dare he enter my home with minors talking to a child about Payments and proceeded to dismount the TV. I told my son to put the guy on the phone and asked him to leave because he had no right to enter the home with minors and he proceeded to say that he is taking the TV. I told him again to leave the house because its illegal and trust passing and I'm calling the Police. He left and I called the Bolingbrook rent a center and asked for the manager. She said she immediately told him to leave because at that point she knew he was wrong. I said I just talked to you last week and you told me my 50 payment was due on today, how is it that you sending somebody out to my house to pick up the TV and secondly him entering the home with no adults present and questioning a minor about payments. This was wrong on so many levels, my kids even though they was not suppose to open the door for nobody even if they did as rent a center policy and being the adult in the situation he was not supposed to enter the home. Now my kids are terrified, upset and sad that they did open the door and something bad could have happened to them. I WILL NEVER NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN OR EVEN REFER ANY ONE TO THEM AGAIN. I will be returning the TV because dealing with this situation has made me so ANGER and DISAPPOINTED in their policy and rules of payments and my agreement. I will be taken legal actions as this was definitely illegal and against their policy and agreement.

Rent-A-Center lg uhd a1 thin q 65” renting

Starting renting this TV in June of 2019 from RAC, was told on day of first payment that my payments would be every two weeks. The following Saturday RAC shows up at my house and says they need a payment. First off who does something like that walks into someone's garage knocking on the door? Second off the payments were supposed to be every two weeks. I went ahead and paid them because I did not know what else to do. The following Saturday I got a rude phone call from Joseph at RAC wanting payment again; I explained to him what I thought I agreed to and he said know that they never changed it to two weeks. So did I just make this up? Called them last weekend and told them to come pick up there tv; Luis the female manager was like why and I told her everything that had transpired to make me want to send the tv back and she said I'm sorry please keep it and we can make the proper arrangements. After speaking with my husband we decided we still didn't want to deal with these people that were harassing us anymore. So I called her back and said come and get it. Luis told me that someone would pick it up and no one ever showed. They called me all week this past week while we were on vacation every day from mon-fri. I told them yesterday come pick it up sat, well they wanted it to be on there time and I said no. You pick this tv up on my time at my convenience or don't bother coming by. They were told to call me on there way. At about 5 in the evening I here this loud bang about 9 times. It was to guys from rent a center banging on my front door. They never called they were standing a stool just banging. This is ridiculous, never have I experienced such rude people in my life. This company and its employees clearly have no self regard for the public. I will not ever use RAC again or even recommend them to anyone. In fact I will be letting everyone I know to stay away from the Longview store especially, because they were nothing but pure rude trash. May even consider a lawyer at this point. Rent-A-Center keep getting calls and hung up on

Someone from braddock hills rent a Center called me on my phone, said nothing and hung up. I called back to see who it was and what they wanted. Someone answered the phone and I spoke to someone named Aaron and he hung up the phone too. I called them last Thursday to pick up their stuff. Because I no longer live at the residence with their property in it. But, I have people playing on my phone! What the [censored] is that about!?

Rent-A-Center manager and employees harassing

So, understanding that there are rules and agreements and such, yes I fell behind. I was polite when I explained my situation and was told okay just asap. My phone was broken so I couldn't make proper arrangements with the company to schedule pick up or payment. The employee who signed for the sake called all day to my grandma. I'm not sure how she got that number. Then they sent letters but not in a way I was able to call or contact. I fixed my phone and then they refused to accept my calls. I constantly was hung up on or not even answered. Then the people hired to pick up items show up when I was working. Only when working. My family I live with told them my schedule and the only days they didn't show was my off days. They refused to accept the item because I wasn't there to sign. They called up to 30 times a day between my phone and grandma's but hung up on us when we answer. They had my work schedule never show or call prior to verify my whereabouts. They "sent" letters that I never did receive. Down to a certified letter I never signed for. Now I'm out of town for a funeral and I got notice of them sitting outside my house until my uncle had to tell them to either leave or go out of state to locate me since I went to the funeral. Then the manager called repeatedly. I wasn't able to answer but he refused to wait on a call back. Somebody signed the certified mail for me. I was sent a picture stating on 7/29 to have it returned or they press charges. This was signed on 7/24. 7/25 I kept getting calls and finally I was able to answer and manager stated end of day or on 7/26 he was filing. I told him I wasn't even in the state and his notice was 7/29 on a letter I never signed for. He THREATENED me and cussed at me before hanging up. I called the sheriff to see what I needed to do. Sheriff stated to let him know I am out of state at a funeral to back off some. My letter that I didn't sign states on 7/29 I am to have it back and if he tries calling and doing anything prior he will be told to call back on 7/30 after I went passed the set day, to enjoy the family time while grieving the loss properly and any further call is harassment now. He did his part and I did the best I was able to with mine. When I called to do as stated he was belligerent. Stating he sent a notice prior (i never got it) and that he'll turn in the old one. I have the current so if he does he'll have to deal with our law enforcement. He proceeded to cuss me and I then mentioned okay sir well if you don't back off I will press charges. I'm at a family event mourning a death. I went to a funeral out of state I'll be back before the 29th and I'll have what you need or require. He called me a few inappropriate words and hung up. Now understanding how behind I am, yes I'm at fault. No I couldn't just go into the store there to ensure I had gas so I could work to take care of my 3 kids. I had unexpectedly lost my job and was at a new one quickly but due to the pay schedule I went a month without income so I did my best to comply with all my bills. This is the only company that refused to speak when I return call, only call when I was at work as they knew and knew I can't answer, and talked to me and treated me so low. This manager needs to learn how to conversate reapectfully to others and understand the rules or laws to ensure he isn't treating anyone or doing anything improper or threatening as such. I've witnessed him tell my own friends and some family not to worry when late. Some further behind than I am and him not do this much, only to allow 2-4 months before stating they needed to collect. This really made me upset. Nobody should ever feel as below dirt level as I have when he spoke to me. He hung up on me and I cried out of anger and just overall feeling like I'm nothing more than stupid or ignorant for not being keep the job I lost after 2 nearly 3 years. This has me really beyond upset. I don't often do reports unless it's a good experience. I just can't sit around and let anyone do that to others let alone me where my children could hear his words this is the worst experience with any company I've ever had. I just hope things resolve properly and peacefully. I do wish to request that this stores manager not contact me or have any further form of communication. He can allow somebody who knows customer service and can be respectful contact me.

Rent-A-Center sales associate

Hello I am complaining because I have a monthly agreement for a bedroom set I pay every 2nd Saturday of each month recently I added an air conditioner that I requested be added to my monthly plan.. I paid 120 dollars 3 days ago and they are requesting more saying our agreement was switched from monthly to weekly payments I never once agreed to this and I want it to be taken care of please I have never had issues with RAC before and I'm overall very upset with the costumer service I have been receiving regarding this issue and being called constantly asking for a payment I don't feel obligated to be paying on something weekly when the agreement states to pay monthly

Rent-A-Center staff

I rented a a tv ps4 bundle on a Thursday and James started calling on Sat for payment I told him the payment wasn't due till Thursday he said no that the week was up and I needed to pay it that day I went in and asked why there was such a problem he said he needed to pick it up I said fine. I also rented a stove the previous week and he would not take my payment for it with out payment for the tv bundle. I'm not sure after repeated bad reviews why corporate does nothing. I have been a customer of rent a center on and off for 5 years and have never encountered such disrespect. Aaron's can have my money from now on.

Rent-A-Center my payment

I made a payment from my prepaid card of 299 and they said they didn't get it on there side.Well it came off my card and I showed them my bank statement and they are still trying to take my furniture I also made a payment for 152 and they said they didn't receive it still it came out my account on my prepaid card and we all know prepaid cards does not do over draft. I'm really piss and about to go talk to me a lawyer.

Rent-A-Center all store employees

so i had an open account with rent a center on an apartment size dryer a friend of mine was looking at stoves so the next day that same friend went in to the store in ukiah calif and told them to put this new stove on my account and they did. I never gave her or any employees permission to do so the store never called mne to verify or get authorization from me. so my payee is sending the monthly payments on time which the got on the third of every month it was due on the fifth of the month. So im making payment after payment and its taking a long time to pay it off so i go into the store and the empolyees are explaing to me that they took my payment and applied it accordingly so i said what do u mean.Well they inform me the stove payments late so applied youre payment to that. um excuse me i dont have a stove payment so this is how i find out that they let this person go into the store and add a stove on my account without talking to me or getting permission to do this.So i snap of course cause thats just telling me that any tom dick or harry can walk into the store and say add this to so and sos account and they do. without authorization. so thats not the worst part its taking me longer to pay off my dryer because of this, i finally get it paid and forgot to tell my payee to stop making payments for two months and rent a center collected two more payments of 93.50 on a closed account are refusing to refund me, this is so not the way to do buisness bad store so im sewing the company

Rent-A-Center delivery drivers

Two ingorant delivery men from rent a center completely blocked access to my driveway, when I confronted them with the obvious fact that they were blocking my driveway, that also has a sign above, they were disrespectful and didn't move the truck. I shouldn't have to look for a parking space !. Please educate your drivers how to read signs and be respectful to others . [protected]@gmail.com

Rent-A-Center washer & dryer

Hice una compra el día 10 de junio de lavadora y secadora usadas, me fueron entregadas el día 11 de junio.Luego de esto tuve problemas con el equipo el dia
14 de junio lo notifique y me recogieron la secadora para repararla.El dia 17 y.Me trajeron otra en lo que reparaban, esta tenia un olor como a quemado que tampoco pude usarla.
Me comunico nuevamente con el store manager el 22 de junio para decirle no queria el equipo debido a tanto problemas.
Se comprometió conmigo a recogerlo el dia 26 de junio de 2-4 pm el cual ni lo buscaron ni me llamaron por cortesia ..Tuve yo qué llamarlos a las 5 de la tarde porque nunca se presentaron a mi casa ni llamaron.
Me siento que discriminaron por mi poco inglés o por ser mujer sola, quisieron cogerme de boba .
Siempre he sido clienta de aarron's pero una gran amiga de chicago me los recomendó y trate era cerca a mi casa, ella misma habli con ellos directamente ya que sabe un buen ingles y se dio cuenta la actitud del store manager.

One of your employees was gambling right in front of your store in Jackson, ms in the Westland Plaza it's very unprofessional I will never visit this site again he is out there taking ppl money on bets a business shouldn't have this type of behavior at the establishment that makes ppl not want to come to the location and purchase anything but me personally won't come back

Rent-A-Center washer/ dryer

We have been dealing with rent a center on and off for a few years now. We have pay some accounts off and some we return. Well we got a washer and dryer and then also a game system. The game system got paid off in April and they don't give you any credit for that. We told them then that the washer quit working and they said they will come out on Friday to look at it. They didn't even bother to come. So I am not paying on something that doesn't work. I continue to use the dryer because that's the only thing I could use. I got a letter saying they going to take me to court. Ha ha that's funny because you didn't win on this. We put the washer and dryer on the porch and told them it better be pick up the end of the day. I will never give them my business again. They are so crooked and I will let everyone know how they treat their customers.

Rent-A-Center I am complaining about something that was said during a phone call.

I received a call this morning from Henry about my account. I know I am late but I am also in the hospital with pneumonia since Wednesday night.
My phone rings:
Me: hello...hello( because I wad on speaker because the person sounded away from the phone)
Caller: I thought you said you were going to pay
Me: I hadn't check my account because I'm in the hospital...(before I could finish my sentence I hear) this [censored] lying and the caller hurried up and picked up the phone. I continued my conversation and said that I would check my account to see if the money I was waiting on had posted. I called my husband up to listen in on the call back.
Me: hello may I speak to Henry
Caller: this is Henry
Me: did I speak to you this morning about my account
Caller: no I hadn't talk to you since the other day
Me: ok I spoke with someone(I began to explain the situation) all of a sudden Henry gets a little bothered tone in his voice.
Henry: Mrs Harris I spoke to you this morning( at this point mr and my husband looking confused because he just said he didn't speak to me.
He also said well Mrs Harris maybe you real sick because I dint say that and I'm the only one in this store and noone is in here with me...i don't talk to myself.
I said well I know what I heard but I was calling you to tell you the money had posted but I'll just have my husband bring it in the store. He also was like its cameras in the store and you can come and look at the camera.
At this point it's going to be my word against his but I know exactly what I heard and I truly don't appreciate this treatment.
Also the guy that handles my account(Hispanic gentlemen) I don't appreciate his tone of voice when he addresses me. He tries to handle me like I'm his child. I'm not a angry black woman I'm a hard working woman that handles my business but if you handle me crazy you will be put on the backburner. Thats why I begin to deal with Henry because of the more professional treatment until what I heard this morning. Rent-A-Center manassas va rent a center is the worst

I have had my bedroom set for almost a year and still have not received the mirror for my bedroom set. I have talked to Jimmy SEVERAL TIMES and have been promised delivery several times and took off of work several times and waited for no one to show up. Last week I called again to try and resolve this matter just to be informed again that they will be here today. Whelp here I am, losing hours at work waiting for no one to show up. I am beyond upset!

Rent-A-Center service

I just recently moved to Puerto Rico. I found a home as a single mother and desperately needed a washer as I had four children. I went to rent a center here in Guayama and I was so happy. I made my first couple payments, and then had a family emergency in Alaska and had to send my eldest back. I called and arranged a payment of 20 dollars and was made to feel humiliated and borderline threatened. I let them know I had money coming from Alaska and I would be there as soon as possible. 2 days later a man showed up to take the washer. My check had not yet arrived, I only spoke English, I was asking him to stay while I grabbed a friend to translate. Immediately after I left, he tried to get into my home while my two 16 year old daughters where there. The only thing stopping him was my dogs. The next day I received my check and paid. This month I was out of town for work, and I came home with a notice given to one of my kids. It says account terminated. I received no calls, and now had the money to pay. I not working full-time, I doing the best I can, but I have never felt so embarressed, and humiliated for having to ask for a little help, as I have paid every time, I have not stolen anything, why should I be treated like this, and then my personal space violated because I am a week or less late? You need further information about the way this problem was addressed in the office, feel free to call me. I cannot believe the treatment after already taking advantage of people whobare forced to pay 1000 dollars or more for a 400-600 washer.

I am currently renting from the one in Panama city and they came to my house and took my washer and dryer cause damage to my home i was not there i was in bama with a death in my family and was told they would work with me and now they are trying to press charges on me for stealing the stuff they are very rude and disrespectful to customers and lie

Rent-A-Center my tv and xbox

I am renting from Wichita Falls TX. They will not work with you on any payment or half a payment. The manager is very rude and hateful. I was late due to an emergency and she has been hateful and rude to everyone. She was telling everyone at my job my business. Her name is Yvonne. She don't need to be a manager she makes threats that will scare you. She scared my kids at home beating on the door like she was mad. Demanding to give her her stuff back to children I was not here when she did. That is very unprofessional and my kids where scared. She is not manager material and definitely not for customers.

Rent-A-Center customer service

Ive been renting from them for a few months. They refuse to allow me to switch to monthly payments and when I went to return everything theyre literally putting it off. According to them because theyre a franchise, I have to pay bi weekly. When I explained my hours were cut, he told me to do uber. Theyve refused to work with me and do delivery when its convenient for them

Rent-A-Center amount on my product

My name is shontar coleman I have a account in kissimmee fl and there is a new manager that started tge beginning of January and I went into the store the end of December and I paid of a couch off amd I asked what was left on a 49in lg tv and he printed out the paper and it said 400 and something so a month or two after she started I got my balance again and the was 300 and something so I'm like that dont sound right but ok so another two months went by and I asked what I owed cause at this point I'm like my tv bout paid off and then they tell me I still owe 300 in like how is this possible and the told me being that I'm paying 25 a week for the tv that half of the 25 dollars is going to taxes so I'm like I'm paying a dollar on a dollar for taxes last time I checked taxes was included in the final price and that's not how taxes work I believe in getting robbed I had four items on there on is paid off and that's a PlayStation and I currently have a 75in and a 49in and a surround sound I qould like for this to be looked at I have been renting from you guess my whole adult life and if this your policynow you guess can come get all your property
