cheating by reliance!
We purchased data card [protected] to be used for laptop for usage of internet from Reliance Communication. We subscribed the data card under Zero Rental plan for data card usage and voice calls rental Rs 149. But when we got the bill we find they charged rental about Rs 650. When we asked them about mistake with customer care who advised us to pay and from next month they will send correct bill because they entered wrong information in system. We paid the bill in good faith.
Then again next bill come with same charges. Nobody is ready to listen. Even we have to wait longer time to register our complaint When they listen all things, they say system is hanged or updated so call one or two hours later. We called so many times, but no use. They do not want to correct bill and now disconnected our card which is of no use.
We have written so many emails. They give me one fax no which never worked and I tried to send fax so many times to them.

I will advice to Indian country people. Please do not take any mobile connections from RIM, because they are cheating with the customer like if you have post paid connections and if you are not going for itemize bill then your monthly bill goes too high as soon as you go for itemize bill your monthly bill amount will come down. Again they make you fool by generates duplicates call when call somebody that way they increase your bill amounts every month.

My cell number is [protected]. I am availing reliances LIFE TIME INCOMING FREE OFFER(Rs.999) since march'2006. Last month I failed to pay my monthly bill of this post paid conection, resulting which my out going facilities is barred(which is logical enough) but from today(01/05/08) my incoming facilities is also barred . On asking I got a reply that after 51 days of non-payment my service(all types) will be suspended.
My question is availing lifetime offer is it logical and legal to barred my incoming facilities?

Reliance has deducted Rs.30/- from my a/c on 22/04/2011. I given complaint with customer care also. But still now they have not given my money back. They told that they have activated an pack by name "Life News". But until now i have not received any SMS alerts for that pack. They are cheating by mentioning that.
They are making fake promises daily that your money will be given back but they are not acting on it.

This is Ramesh.k, using Reliance since two years. My mobile number is +91-[protected] recharged with Rs 77/- two weeks ago so that I can enjoy 20paise per minute in Reliance network. But, unfortunately from the last saturday(17-April-2010) I am unable to enjoy the plan.
I have called customer care immediately on saturday to find out the fault and the customer care has agreed that was their mistake and correct later as the server was down.Even on requesting they were not letting us know about the complaint number sothat I can track through it in future. If server is down, it's Reliance problem and not the customer problem. Why should a customer suffer? Since two days even the customer care is not in available. On dialing the customer care(Reliance toll free number), been disconnected automatically without speaking to them.
And Reliance uses to say that 'Reliance is proud in getting Second largest mobile services in India', what to do if they are not fulfilling what they are been announced or launched to customers? But Witout any mistake or fault they are collecting the amount in the form of Recharge cards but failing to enjoy the plan by the customer.
I lost my cellphone on 4th of may 2007. I tried to block the same number from various sources but i was said that your birth date is not matching, it happened many times.
Finally on 6th when i was there for having a new handset (i was said that i will get my own old connection activated from that new no.) but was unable the same connection and given the reason that the number to my connection has been changed(they said-" aapke number par dusra number chada gaya hai")
I told them to give the information regarding the new number or the number only. I dont have bill of the handset. The connection was mine how someone can change the number without submitting the documents.

I have called customer care no. (*333) on today(21-04-2010) to find out the fault. My service request no. is [protected] at 10:02 AM. Name of the customer care person was ASHRAF. He put me on hold check the details and after holding for 9 mints call was disconnected automatically.
They are not fulfilling what they are been announced or launched for customers? But without any mistake or fault they are collecting the amount in the form of Recharge cards but. But the customers are not getting those services even after paying for that. They need to compensate for it. Even one of my friend is also surfing with the same problem. His no. is +91-[protected]

I was also using RIM postpaid no. after sometime I requested them to convert that in prepaid after the due amount. I received sms for request confirmation. Their representative also called me. Again and again I was requested them to stop my postpaid connection but they just asked reason why I'm converting it to prepaid and continued with raising bill from one month to another. Finally, I decided not to pay anymore bills and stopped using that no. also.
After some months today I got call from court that they filed case for non-submission of bill. When I told court person in this regard now they given me all process details that you was suppose to go to their head office with written request. That they never told before when lots of time I asked them for this conversion.
Today really I'm filling badly cheated and think RIM should change their tagline from " kar lo duniya mutthi mein" to "KAR LIYA DUNIYA MUTTHI MEIN"...So, in future I will not be going to have any customer relation with RIM's any business. RIM a big cheaters !

i have a prepaid connection, i got a message around 15 days back that if i recharge with 125 rs then they will be giving talk time of 140 rs and that also for 60 days but as soon as i recharged the amount of 125 rs i got another message that that amount is valid only for 15 days.thats not all after that i recharged rs 50 after which i didn't make any call still that whole amount was deducted when asked they said no such amount was credited ever specially when i received the credited message.what a fraud man plus the executive are so ill mannered.i had activated a s ms pack also which used to b renewed automatically that also they deny and are deducting the normal charges.Reliance is a big thief and am sure this company will demolish very soon.Don t choose reliance ever

My Cell was lost 5 days back when I blocked it at customer care (*333). As advised the day after (9/11/2006) i visited the Web Word at Forum, Bangalore (at 7:50PM). Where i was told that the number cannot be transferred at their outlet and asked me to visit MG Road Web Word. (May be the person in charge wanted to leave early although 8:30 is the closing time!)
Next morning Friday (10/11/2006) i visited the MG Road Web World. They said that they cannot transfer the number to my old blank handset (this was the extra handset i had) and I will have to buy a virgin handset only then they can do so. (Good phone selling strategy! But not Fair!)
I had no option but to buy a new handset. They promised that they have sent the request for activation and the number would be transferred to this new handset with RSN: RJPHSC010109371 within 24 hrs.
It has been more than 2 days now. I have also complained on customer care (*333) with complaint number: [protected] but all in vein. I have called up customer care 2 times after registering the complaint but they are not able to help at all. The Web world is not able to help too.
I have been running around for last 4 days to get my phone working between your Call center and Web World which are not in sink with the information. Causing huge inconvenience to me. They have been passing the buck to each other. Without helping me with a solution. Finally i have given up now. And decided you write it here. As a next step. And also share my experience!
after address vertification done and after 10 days i was informed at address vertification was negative. I had port the card from airtel to reliance . The documents were provided of mine and the card was register in the name of my father. there is no response from the service center. It is fool to port to reliance

This is to inform that after submitted Documents thrice to the Reliance gallery at Dombivali ( Tel No.[protected]) to the concerned person, still the services has not been reactivated.
I am completely exasperated the way the services provided by The Rcom, it feels like a torcher and a tad of mortification just because I have to dealt with the poor staff of reliance who couldn’t even compile or assemble the Docs of customer.
This will be my last appeal to reliance after this I am expecting a favorable action or will escalate this issue to TRAI for the harassment I get it from Reliance.
Who will bear my cost I have done so meaningful recharges on my No.( [protected]) includes my Tariff deduction plan which is about to out of validity after 2 more day, who will compensate my Lapse days.
See there should be some tolerance at a particular point but beyond that it will blew you up.
Whatever you want to consider, consider it my sincere request or an order but I want my services should get started by EOD, else I have lot many options to torcher reliance the way the reliance done it to me.

Problem description: Mobile signal issue reported to Reliance stands unresolved even after 45-50 days! It's been over 45-50 days that I've filed a technical complaint against Reliance. I've marked a copy to top reliance management too - but appears to me that all they are bothered about is revenue! I filed a complaint regarding signal issue in my residential area. (RT nagar, Kaval bysandra, Bangalore)
But believe me, NO one at Reliance have bothered to actually resolve this issue. Instead they have ridiculously sent 4-5 so called 'resolution mails' indicating that problem is resolved. And guess what? Even before sending such mails, no one from reliance bothers to call me to check if the issue is actually resolved or not. Note: I haven't held back on any bill payments from my part. And it's sad !
The "Service Assurance Cell" of Reliance is as unreliable as Reliance itself. They do not resolve any issue, but they happily send fake resolution emails to customers.
People: BEWARE before you purchase that Reliance phone or contact Reliance. Its all waste!

My Reliance no. is been disconnected since last 1 week without any notice, even though all the papers were submitted. And when we go to Reliance webworld, there's a common answer from the person that is SERVER IS DOWN.

I am the dealer with reliance communications, i have purchased approximately 500 handsets of the same in the month of may, i have provided all the documents necessary under trai's guidelines to the same, then also all handsets got disconnected, once again they told me to produce the documents, i have submitted all the documents , then also the scenario is same... now the concerned person is avoiding my calls and same is the case with reliance area manager and cluster head...
i have purchased it from kolhapur m/s sonal communication--- chetan bhai...
and contacted with mr-paramjeet and mr apoorval, ----area persons over there...
i have also given them the bills of handsets which i have purchased via fax... now they are making silly excuses...
i have purchased from kolhapur although it was not in my area, as i was facing many of the problems from local distributor...

I've received a bill of around Rs.10000/- but my phone is not installed i've complained many times but do not get any solution.
I have faced similar problems from Reliance. They simply don't offer a solution and say "What could we do if the server is down?" Even after contacting the nodal officer and service assurance cell, it takes about 20 days to get the job done. Reliance Communications is the epitome of irresponsible, callous customer services and its high-time TRAI intervenes and forces them to give the value for money to the customer.
Reliance is the poorest service provider. Frankly, it is a cheater.

I have been a consumer of Reliance mobile phone services for the past 3 years. My phone which was initially post paid was converted to a pre paid about a year back.
Recently in view of the government regulation ,where in every prepaid phone user is required to submit his her address proof for verification , my phone out going was termination. The termination happened on the 2 Jan 2007.I had recharged my phone for a sum of Rs 324 on the 1st of Jan 2007.
I called up their customer service on *333 and was asked to submit my address proofs for verification purpose. I submitted the address proofs by the 8th of Jan 2007 at the Web World in Malad West. I was assured that the phone service would be activated post the verification and the entire process would take about 72 hours.
Due to my professional commitments, I am a IT professional and work in a MNC, I have not been able to go on a daily basis to your web world and stand in the queue for the redressal of my problem.
On the 27th I again called up *333 and inquired as to the reason for the delay in the verification process. The customer support agent told me that I was required to re submit my address proofs as the initial documents had not reached them.
I visited the Reliance Web World in Malad West on the 28th to inquire as to the reason why the document had not been sent or any verification done. There I found people with issues same as mine and the stock answer given was as under:
1. ‘The server is down, so we cannot help you at this time’ – this is an answer that is give every day after 6 as the employees leave around this time and there is no one to attend to customer calls or inquiries. As an employee of a Software giant I know very well that IT technology has advanced to such an extent that server do not go down every day at 6 in the evening.
2. ‘You need to resubmit the documents as your address verification has proved negative’
Prior to working in the IT sector I have served in the Indian Army as well as the country’s premier investigation organization. I am well aware of the procedures and processes that are followed for verification of antecedents. Besides the process of asking customer to resubmit their documents again and again in itself shows a high level of indifference towards the consumer.
I have been staying in this house for the past 10 years and have the same address in my Passport as well as Pan card.
I wish to conclude by asking the following questions:
1. By when is my phone going to be activated.
( I am not going to submit any more documents or make any visits to your web worlds for this)
2. I had recharged my phone for Rs 324 on the 1st of this month. This amount has not been even partially utilized. What happens to this recharge?

harassment & disconnection without intimation
Three months ago (July2006) I have taken a Reliance Prepaid CDMA at Pune (Maharashtra, India) connection after submission of proper documents. The telcom service provider company Rellaince has disconnected the outgoing calls without any intimation & now is asking for ID & address proof again. Initially all the documents has been submitted. This is unnessary harassment & loss for me. When I contacted the customer care of Relaince no body responded properly. One of the customer care executive told that the connection is active, this is just like befooling the innocent customer. Proper action should be taken as I have lost so many important calls & information due to this.
